Chi, I too listen Randi Rhodes, she does a really amazing job and she is fast becoming one of my favorites. Actually I have since soured on many of the progressive media types. I agree that they’ve done more harm than good.

I like Bob Cesca even though I refuse to click on Huffington post. I just go directly to his blog. I loathe Arianna. Sad because at some point I actually thought she was sincere in making ammends for her past sins, but her actions and words this past year have cast her as nothing more than a dubious and dangerous, egotistical, money/agenda-driven operative true to her natural republican roots.

She has succeeded in misleading liberals by recasting herself as a progressive only to decieve, exploit and cash in.

The right wing media have always been against this President, but it has surprise me how the left have turn against him too. Well I haven’t turn against him. Have everything gone the way I’ve wanted it to, no it hasn’t. For the left or progressives who seem to be disappointed, please come back and help. It will be a disaster to let those Tea Baggers-Republicans get in control.

Oh Sue, I’ve simply turned them all off; I do however listen to Randi Rhodes on the radio, but that’s just about it.

I understand that Rachel had John McCain’s saucy daughter who I understand was incredibly insulting of President Obama on Leno the night before;

I really have a problem with those who wittingly and unwittingly validate/encourage the blatant and unprovoked disrespect, denigration and demeaning of President Obama.

I often think – with friends like these, who needs enemies…?!

Chi… I agree with your dissatisfaction with our media. Since the election, one by one they have fallen off my radar, although I remain steadfast and loyal to Rachel Maddow, I miss Bill Moyer, and I find it ironic that Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert
are often better reflectors of truth than the MSM. I am also very, very tired of other peoples opinions, and analysis that time and time and again is proven to be wrong. I appreciate the fact that President Obama prefers to talk directly to Americans, and I believe the media has established a tone of resentment because of this. Sarah Palin, whom I have no favorable opinions of and consider to be a fraud, is a manufactured product of the media. As they continue to perpetuate mythical Sarah they should be challenged at every turn. Contrived crap, is precisely what the media has been serving up!

I really don’t know what to make of Chris Matthews; Like many in the media it’s just shit-stirring all the way…anything for drama and ratings even when it’s hateful, bogus and intellectually dishonest stuff – like propping up Sarah Palin and soliciting Pat Buchannan’s opinion on anything.

I simply stopped watching – just couldn’t take the contrived crap any longer..
