It’s almost like she came back to us after hearing our lousy media broadcasting all that morning of her death. It’s almost like God is saying oh no she is needed here her work is not done.

God Speed Gabby for a good recovery we need your voice, Our President needs you, and America needs you.

Heaven bless her … bless her, bless her, make her well again and back in Congress soon. She has the best wishes of vast groups of people across the country.

I’m surprised and gratified at the escort to Texas. I hope her husband is there to comfort her as she embarks on that long trip. Granted it’s not as long as from Washington, but Texas is a big, big state and Houston is at the very end of it.

Me too, Joan! A moving tribute.

I watched the live feed of her ambulance, with escort, leave the hospital, making its way to the airport. It was very emotional as people lined the streets waving goodbye. The drs. at the new facility will know more after they put her through the full and thorough battery of tests. They caution that there will be a long, difficult road, 17 hours of therapy per day, and often having to teach and adjust to “a new normal”. My deepest hope is that this will lead to the best possible outcome for her.
And thanks again to chipsticks for all these timely posts. Great job!

My thoughts are with her and all of those who are a part of her life. It sounds like the retraining will take some real work, but she seems to have such heart and vigor about her that I am predicting she will get her full life back.

I have to say I am a bit confused about Mark taking her away from Arizona. I know he wants to be near her, but I think how hard that must be for her family and friends. It seems they should play a positive role in her recovery. Thanks Chipsticks.

Thanks Chipsticks. You always find the news I would not get otherwise and being a visual person this site is wonderful.

You go Gabby, I know you will be working hard to regain any deficits you have encountered. Speaking of her family, I read a quote from her mom, that she and Gabby’s dad are going to rent an apartment in Houstan for as long as it takes.

May God keep them all in the palm of His hand.

May God lift you up Gabby, and may America be the wind at your back on your journey to full recovery.

She impresses me as someone that will overcome the obstacles that lie ahead of her. Gabby, you are in the hearts and prayers of millions. Godspeed.
