President Barack Obama discusses the situation in Sudan with actor George Clooney during a meeting outside the Oval Office, Oct. 12, 2010. (Official White House Photo by Pete Souza)

President Obama and George Clooney, the two hottest men on the planet, from my playbook. Even though they are supremely handsome, it is because of their substance of character that inspires in me an extra beat of my heart. Thanks for the little jolt.
My sentiments exactly!
Sue you speak for me- my kind of guys, agreed- not only because they’re just damn beautiful- but the substance beneath the beauty is what shines.
x3.

Sue, how right you are.
Close your eyes when listening to these men, and the brilliance of GC’s and POTUS’s minds, hearts and character will trump their physical beauty.
OK, you can peak a little at the hotness . . .
I’d vote for Clooney should he run in 2016, or after. He is so much more than a Hollywood personality. He is intelligent, compassionate, and he puts his money and time where his heart is. He is very much concerned about bringing peace and prosperity to Sudan. Good work PBO and George on bringing about a generally peaceful election in Sudan! Give Clooney a Nobel Peace Prize.
lol…sorry but that is more than a little bit out there for some actor who has never worked a day in his life as a politician. Couldn’t you come up with something a little more down to earth like Governor of California. We all know that can be done.
I was thinking ahead, years ahead, and was only suggesting 2016 in reference to PBO being re-elected in 2012. 2016 is 5 years in the future and lots of things have happened in politics in less time than that. PBO went from 2 years in the Senate to POTUS, something that many people in 2006 would have thought was impossible.
Oh great. Another CNN talking head who lacks substance. Just what we need. “You’re handsome and smart, and do such good work in the Sudan.” As if those are by any stretch of the imagination any sort of prerequisite for becoming President of the United States of America.
Oy!
My thoughts exactly Hachikō…
Now I’m really thinking we were sisters in another life…
Welcome back!!!
I can haz George plz?
I respect Mr. Clooney so much for his incrediable humanitarian work for the people of Sudan. He could be somewhere living the glamorous life and not caring at all. Alot of normal people wouldn’t do this work. The same goes for the Kennedys. They could all be rich brats but many seem to have such mission and purpose in life. I really admire that. Most artists are humanitarians. I think to be a good politican you have to be a humanitarian. I would certainly give Mr. Clooney a good look if he were to ever run for office. He can’t be any worse than the people the Repubs put at the head of their ticket this year O’Donnell, Angle, and of course the thief that runs Florida.
Hopefully, in President Obama a higher standard is being set, and will become precedent, as to whom we consider capable and worthy of elected office. He is going to be a hard act to follow, but establishing a higher standard will be another net positive of his leadership.
