“I’ve come by to say hi to you.” I can just imagine what impact those words will have on that boy’s life. One inspiring sentence that reminds us that it is never about him but the people he serves. What an extraordinary President we have – a leader other countries can only dream of.
I know what an impact his words have had on me, so for a young boy it could be a life altering experience.
Actually Obama has been a life altering experience for me also, but he is young and innocent. May this boy take what was given him and use it throughout his life.
Our POTUS knows how to light up a boy’s heart – and the world for that matter.
He sure does. He is such a shining star. I have a sense of security because of our President that I have never felt before.
During the campaign, candidate Obama spoke at a rally in my city of Indianapolis. A friend of mine (we were both volunteers) got the pleasure of being part of the motorcade that accompanied him. When his motorcade was bringing him to the site, he spotted a group of young boys walking and had his driver slow down so he could roll down the car window and wave and say hi. Those boys jumped for joy. That is the kind of man our President is.
Happy weekend everybody :)
