I think he will be a good mayor and certainly an interesting and colorful one. He knows how things work in government and has so many contacts. I would think his experience with President Obama, who has that grassroots organizing experience and the mindset or working with others, would be good for Rahm and Chicago, too. Chicago is a great town. Wishing them well.

I think this is great news for Illiniois and for President Obama. I honestly believe if the state was against President Obama, they would have voted against Rahm.

I’m surprised at this news. I must have been occupied elsewhere because the last I heard about the mayoral race was that Rahm was ineligible because of residency. Obviously, I was misinformed.

    Congratulations Rahm!

Congratulations to Chicago you have the best mayor for this time. Someone who is not afraid to work for the people and to plan the recovery of a city. Good luck all.
