a loving message for tonight’s visiting teabagger….

Andersen? Congratulations on noticing that the President and First Lady are black – yet another eagle-eyed Teabagger genius!

Meanwhile….

Hugs!

We should be nice to Andersen, though – the realization that his President is black evidently came as a major shock to his Teabaggin’ soul. Bless him.

I just had to turn off my tv: ED was screaming again, about how if “Obama” doesnt go to WI, he doesnt deserve to be re-elected!
Really ED, because the reason why WI is in this situation is partly because YOU & your fellow Professional Left have been telling voters not to vote last Nov because you didnt like what conservaDems did!
I’m soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo over this faux rage from the talking heads (attention whores all)!
aaaaaauuuuugh! Sorry for the rant about the rant.

“the reason why WI is in this situation is partly because YOU & your fellow Professional Left have been telling voters not to vote last Nov because you didn’t like what conservaDems did!”

The TRUEST statement ever! Congratulations, Professional Left ;-)

I love this home. You can say what is on your mind with no hold backs. Ed is disgusting. I wrote to him a while back and his reply had nothing to do with what I wrote. He is nothing but a saboteur who wants to be the rush of the left, he is harmful and a fake. I agree that he is the cause of so many dems losing this fall and will do the same next year if we don’t let people know what he is doing.

    • February 24, 2011 at 10:40 pm

      Love you back Sonjia!

I’m overjoyed about the increase in Teabagger traffic lately – the poor pets appear to be sweating profusely (I think the upturn in the economy has them clinically depressed). And even now, the best the imbeciles can do is point out that the President is **black**. The intellectual weight of their argument is, um, soooooooooooo impressive

Not only is Ed disgusting he’s not very bright either. He’s a shock jock and nothing more. He wants controversy and apparently he doesn’t think the showdown between the WI gov and the unions and WI Dems ins’t enough for him so he has to add the President into it. He can be harmful, what with telling people not to vote and trying to gin up outrage against the President among Democrats, but luckily, very, very few people actually watch or listen to him.

I had to turn Ed off as well and I will never turn him on again — radio or tv. I want ideas for how to get him off the air. He is nothing but a republican pretending to be a democrat. He is out to undermine President Obama. No true supporter would say the things he said tonight.

We need to really blow up his email, phone and twitter over this. I know this is what he wants –attention. But we need to let him know we will never turn him on again. We need to let the MSNBC bosses know it too and prove it with the ratings. We need to boycott sponsors. If we don’t take action, how can we call ourselves Obama supporters?

I truly believe the PL set out to undermine the president from day one. They railed against him for two years and told people not to vote. Then tried to blame him for the turnout. Now with all the success he’s having rescuing this country they have just turned up their hatred. They can’t bring him down and the more success he has the more they hate.

I mean who in the hell dug up that clip of candidate Obama?

They totally disgust me. We can no longer sit back and say nothing. We must rise up just like Wisconsin and strike back at these phony liberals. The same goes for O’Donnell. All of them need to go. I don’t care if we don’t have a “liberal” station. MSNBC is not liberal. They’re the same corporate owned republican led BS that Fox is.

I wrote to Ed tonight too. While I appreciate Ed’s passion, it is oftentimes so misdirected. Our President sat today with Richard Trumka to his right. I think that he was in a much better situation to make behind the scenes change than walking a picket line in Wisconsin. Not to mention the list of ‘to dos’ on his plate! Ed cannot expect to have our President at his beckon call and needs to hear it from as many of us as possible.

They would rather have a shallow photo op, and show that they made the President jump at their beck and call, than have him doing what actually does make a difference. They’ve accomplished nothing in their lives, so they can’t actually recognize what it looks like when someone is working to make things happen. Pathetic.

I agree with you Elroy and Barbara. Ed’s passion is oftentimes so misdirected. I think he means well. He just hasn’t quite figured out yet his criticism of the President is fodder for FOX LIES.
Ditto Cenk Unger Huff& Puff, firedoglake, Norman Goldman, and sometimes Thomn Hartman. With the exception of Ed, I think they are jealous of the President.
Oh, I don’t forget they are attention whores.
What will they do should the President lose 2012?

Chipsticks, Tweety flashed a chart on his show tonight showing red states where PBO is supposed to be polling strongly with regard to approval. He flashed it so fast I couldn’t get them. Thought this might we something to investigate and share. I guess this is why the rethugs and the PL have ramped up their attacks. PBO is doing so great and they just can’t stop him.

But we have to stop them; I’m tired of their BS.

Ed hasn’t the control in his temperament to be on TV. Just as Keith Olbermann ratings started to tank when he started going after the president so will his. Lawrence O’Donnell is a bore who thinks because he once worked on capitol hill that he is all knowing. I never forget he predicted that the Healthcare legislation would never get passed.

They keep underestimating the President, and he keeps leaving them with eggs on their face.

  11. February 25, 2011 at 12:59 am

Speaking of Teabaggers–today I was driving in an upscale neighborhood and I saw a hard and fast license plate. I could not believe my eyes. It was neither a bumper sticker nor a paper window sticker but a permanent California license plate. The plate read: “12PALIN”. Maybe the woman didn’t belong in the neighborhood, but wherever she belonged I surely would not have wasted $40 for a vanity plate just to broadcast my ignorance. Everybody who has just a slight grip on reality knows that Palin does not stand a chance against President Obama.

    February 25, 2011 at 3:03 am

Hi my name is Valerie and I am a regular visitor to this site. I usually just read all the comments. But, I had to make a comment tonight because I am so tired of hearing nonsense from Ed Schultz. I was a supporter of Ed schultz until Ed started attacking the president during the health care debate. Ed and opportunist and whenever there is a crises, he tries to run and get in the middle of it, and then toot his own horn about how he covered the story first, and about how he is the only one that is passionate about the issue. Talk about an ego maniac. He is envious and jealous of the president and wants to be like Rush (rich and a load mouth). I have e-mailed MSNBC multiple times and suggested that they replace him with Randi Rhodes. I am going to continue to write MSNBC over and over about Randi Rhodes until they invite her on as a guess at least. Is there anyone else interested in writing the cable stations in support of possibly replacing Ed for Randi Rhodes. MSNBC kicked Tucker Carlson, and Dan Abrams off their shows because of ratings, they will eventually get rid of Ed Schultz… what do you guys think??
    Thanks

I’d love for Randi to go on board, but I don’t think they have the guts for her. She does her homework, she’s straightforward, she’s feisty, but at the same time pretty patient, and very fair. She’s the one that got me interested in following politics closely. I learned a lot from her during the Bush years. Yet, I don’t think it could happen on any of these cable stations. They are all the same, to one degree or another.

Do you think any of the current stream of anti-PBO crap coming from MSNBC has anything to do with their new business relationship with Comcast. Comcast’s CEO is very, very Republican and as owner of the PHL Flyers NHL Hockey team he was responsible for inviting Sarah Palin to drop the puck at one of their games during the 2008 campaign. Anyone who aligns themselves with Sarah Palin becomes suspect in my mind, causing me to challenge their intelligence and or their integrity.

I have increasingly become a politically guided consumer……I don’t impose my decisions on others, but don’t feel the need to support companies that don’t value their employees, or participate in extreme partisan politics. The irony of our current economic landscape is that President Obama’s leadership is very good for business and the economy, but what is missing is their ability to control and manipulate the WH to serve only their self interests vs his balanced, more inclusive economic approaches.
I truly believe President Obama will not abandon the 98% of Americans that have been previously left out of the equation. I trust President Obama completely, which goes a long, long way to buoy my confidence that we will realize brighter days.

Not alot of open talk about health insurance companies who recognize through HCR new opportunities for balanced growth, and have concerns about rabid Republicans legislatively upsetting that apple cart. My brother has referenced a couple of newspaper articles concerning the same appearing recently in our local paper, buried of course,in the business section and easily overlooked by the average reader.

Just food for thought, certainly things that make me go hhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sue, thanks for that info. I had heard Comcast goes rethug, so I had decided a month ago, I was going to change cable companies, and tell them why. Also, since they took over NBC. I just have to weigh my options, but I have no problem in boycotting rethug sponsors as much as is humanly possible. I know how to do without, and the sacrifice would be well worth it.

Dear Folks, I came over here this evening to find a little comfort and rant about Ed’s being so unhinged tonight and you all did a fine job of it. I don’t believe he ever told people not to vote last fall in fact he sounded pretty desperate in the end before the election but his toxic 2 years massively contributed to low morale amoung dems.
The truth of the matter is the President is no longer a community activist, he’s moved on to other things. Besides, the ones on the streets in Wisconsin and elsewhere are doing quite a bit without somebody riding in. I think that would actually be a supreme distraction. As far as going after Ed directly, I think he’s flaming out, flying too close to the Sun. I don’t think his new time slot is agreeing with him. Peace everyone. J
