I have to watch O’Reilly every once in a while and as luck would have it, there was the video, with palm trees!! I pointed this out at the time and we decided it was another FartBart ploy. Anything to discredit the other side. I especially liked when “WE” were accused for playing dirty trix. BTW, the WI legislature want to put thru an ordinance or law on ‘phony’ phone calls. Can you believe? Why didn’t we think of that when FartBart was playing?
I want to share a wonderful portion of a comment made on krugmanblogs.nytimes.com. I thought it might be prophetic. The commenter wonders what the tipping point was in Egypt and then writes “did the cognitive dissonance between official narratives and daily life become untenable for the non-ideological center? At some point propaganda ceases to pacify and instead incites anger, the intended scapegoats suddenly inspire empathy instead of scorn”. I really think this is starting to happen here.
Hhhmm. We’ll see because at 74% likeability of the President, even with all the misinfo and lies about policy, things may be getting a bit clearer to some folk previously in the fog of apathy.
It can’t hurt that the likes of Huckabee are telling bold-faced lies. If the right wing is so right in their arguments, why do they need to lie, cheat and steal? Wouldn’t the truth be enough? Even a fool has to start asking that question.

Colbert knows how to bring it home!
