The first pics is from when they came to my school for the bball game. Ayeee!!
happy for you CK
I’m sure you must have been SUPER excited!!!.. I go to The University of Texas at Austin (UT for short) and President Obama came when I was in summer school in the summer of 2010. College kids who had gone home for the summer drove 3-4 hrs to come back just to get tickets to see him speak. We’re a mostly liberal campus with a lot of liberal professors and everyone went nuts!!!!!! It was AWESOME!!!!!! Longhorn nation was super stoked…
Oh how lucky you are!!
wow. I’m gonna pray for them. something tells me that the teen years are gonna be very, very interesting. God, bless the prez, and keep him for having the secret service eliminate some poor defenseless boys who may come knocking on the whitehouse door.
i meant from, not for
Lol, Sasha keeps forgetting that she is getting big for Potus to carry, she will break dad’s back one of these days. But, hey, girls are always dads little girl.
I understand the frustration of trying to have a conversation with a tween who answers with one word or a grunt.
PBO and FL Michelle are probably the type of parents that I was when my daughter was in school. I stayed in her business as far as what went on at school, what she learned that particular day, who her friends were, etc. I gave her lots of freedom but made sure that she understood that it was my business to know her business to a certain extent, and I got a kid who graduated with honors from high school and with honors from one of the best private colleges in the southeast. Today, she has a good job and is a responsible adult. I was, like the Obamas, a hands on, involved parent.
majii, that is so sweet. That’s what our kids need today is parents that pay attention to what is going on in their children’s life.
