Good night, Chipsticks. Thanks for another excellent job of keeping us informed. It’s very much appreciated!
Ah, thank YOU Theo, love ya! Sleep well
Nite ^_^
What a great good night video. Thank you Chipsticks, you make my days so rewarding. Have a good night sleep everyone. Good night Mr. President, sleep in tomorrow.
I just watched Rachel Maddow’s show from yesterday, covering the Japanese problem with their nuclear power plants, the third explosion having happened just a few hours ago.
Rachel explained the various parts of the nuclear manufacture of domestic power, the containment vessels, and the dangers of what many fear right now of one of them being possibly breached. Also included is a very good explanation from a professor from (I think) Princeton describing the possibility of ingesting radioactive, say, milk, and how it happens.
It was a very down to earth and understandable lesson in events that have come to pass in Japan about their nuclear power setup. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/
I suggest anyone interested in the plight of these people to take a look at it.
My heart goes out to our brothers and sisters in Japan. They have truly suffered and are facing more to come.
Big topic of discussion in our home since the event. One of the discussions, the fragility of life, and
the interdependent relationship of man and nature, a relationship that collectively we are not sufficiently respectful of. Especially as our populations increase, every event has the potential to be catastrophic, with broad impact.
The nuclear power plant situation is treacherous, I pray for the absolute optimum outcome for the people and the enviornment.
Sweetest of dreams Chipsticks, rest well. Thanks for keeping our eyes opened, our minds informed and our spirits strong.
Good night sweet Chipsticks. May you have pleasant dreams and wake tomorrow refreshed and full of energy. You have added to our existence in a positive way with this wonderful blog. Today I spent time with Japan. Will drop in tomorrow and say hello.
Thanks Chipsticks for posting this video repeatedly. I woke up this morning, began watching The View and almost lost my temper when I saw that incompetent person ( I’m Catholic and I gave up cussing and using swear words for lent)called Elizabeth Hasselbeck try to defend Glenn Beck for saying that God was punishing the victims of the Tsunami and Earthquake in Japan for not following the 10 commandments. Thank goodness Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar set her straight in a jiffy!!!. And then I came to this wonderful website, saw this video and you put a big smile on my face and prevented me from failing in my lenten duties.
Hi, fellow Utahan! I loved this: “( I’m Catholic and I gave up cussing and using swear words for lent)”
I should definitely do that myself! (Episcopalian here.)
Hello Joan I’m not from Utah..lol. the UT in my screenname is for the University of Texas at Austin (we call it UT over here for short..lol)but thanks for the shoutout!!!. If you want to give up cussing or swearing for lent, let me tell you it’s difficult. Especially for a news junkie like myself who gets frustrated several times a day by the mainstream media and have to remind myself not to swear. But if you want to give it a try, you’ll know there’s a Catholic in your support group.. haha
I love the way he loves her
