Business Insider: What goes around comes around. After spending the last week casting doubt on the nature of Obama’s birth certificate Donald Trump may have some birther issues of his own. Turns out the birth certificate he ‘released exclusively’ to Newsmax earlier this week is not the actual thing.
Ben Smith at Politico reports that what Trump provided was a hospital “‘certificate of birth’ meaning the piece of paper the hospital gave to his family saying he was born. Such a document typically has the signature of the hospital administrator and the attending physician.”
Apparently an actual birth certificate would would have the Dept. of Health’s seal as well a signature of the city registrar. Oops.

Trump’s mother, it should be noted, was born in Scotland, which is not part of the United States. His plane is registered in the Bahamas, also a foreign country. This fact pattern — along with the wave of new questions surrounding what he claims is a birth certificate — raises serious doubts about his eligibility to serve as President of the United States.
Slate: “… Trump can obviously clear this up if he provides everything Barack Obama’s provided to the press, and everything he’s demanded from Obama. This would be:
- Two (or more) contemporary newspaper announcements confirming that Donald Trump was born in the United States. (Two of these exist for Barack Obama.) eg
- A certification of live birth produced by the state Trump was born, verified by hand by reporters. (FactCheck.org verified Obama’s certification in 2008.)
- A picture of the young Donald Trump and or/interviews with people who knew him. (Something like this:

What a positive thing this is! Not only can people treat it with a sense of humor which cuts through anger and fear about the President, but it points out exactly the silliness of the whole birther thing. I love it!! No wonder Teh Don’s hair is standing on end. LOL!
Karma can be a mean old b*t** sometimes. Chump, in his zeal to smear the president and stroke his own ego, is now the laughingstock of the blogosphere. God is good. What has happened to Chump is the reason I pray for our president every day. I ask the Lord to help and protect him from this kind of evil and from those who create and promote it.
Trump’s document says it is a certificate of birth, not a birth certificate, which is the same problem the birthers have raised about Obama. Not only that, it appears to say that Trump was born in Jamaica, which as we know, is not part of the United States. Or at least this suspicious document doesn’t verify which Jamaica we are talking about. Obama’s birth certificate at least verifies that the Hawaii he was born in is part of the United States, not some other Hawaii.

Why does it list Obama Senior’s race as African. Is that a 60′s thing?
Factcheck.org looked in to that, Jessica – “… the Hawaii Department of Health … did answer another frequently-raised question: why is Obama’s father’s race listed as “African”? Kurt Tsue at the DOH told us that father’s race and mother’s race are supplied by the parents, and that “we accept what the parents self identify themselves to be”. We consider it reasonable to believe that Barack Obama, Sr., would have thought of and reported himself as “African.”

For the 1962 Population Census of Kenya the instruction for those filling in the form was to “Write European, Arab, Somali, or African, etc. Asians must write Indian or Pakistan”. So, that’s how Barack Obama Snr was used to decsribing himself – another birther lie busted!

My first thought on reading this a day or two ago was to wonder if it’s a deliberate ploy by TRUMP to draw additional attention to himself. Given the fact that he has chosen this argument against the President, one would think that he’d make sure his own birth certificate was in order. Certainly, if he were about to release it, that would be added reason to make sure it’s valid. That he chose not to do so makes me wonder if that’s part of his strategy. I can’t remember where I read it, but someone has already pointed out that Trump has ‘entered’ the presidential election campaigning cycle on two/three previous occasions as a means of generating publicy for books he was selling. If I remember correctly two such occasions were exactly 12 years apart, and once his books sales increased he dropped out. He may not be hyping a book just now, but he sure is generating massive free publicity with his antics. Wonder what his goal is?
He is not to be taken seriously, but we should shout that, not shrug our shoulders and turn our backs. Chump is a JOKE! And so is any “news” organization or media outlet that goes along with the charade.
Just looking at that picture of Trump you have to suspect that something isn’t right about him. This Certificate of Birth thing needs to be investigated more with the same requested items President Obama had to show to prove.
