forty-foooooooooooooooore!

President Barack Obama leaves the White House on April 3. The President was headed to the golf course.

I was sooooo hoping the President would play golf this weekend, just as a….

…. to the wingnuts.

Love the way he just ignores these idiots!

Could all of those o-o-o-o-o-o-o’s mean that our President is looking o-so goooorgeous this morning? He just looks so cool and relaxed in that photo — and much younger than usual. :)

Doesn’t he though? He just looks relaxed and well-rested. I’m so glad because I worry about the stress of doing this job with all the hate being thrown at him. I’m so glad he doesn’t let the haters dictate what he should and should not do.

P.S. I just love that he wears a wedding ring.(Yeah I can spot it even in this photo.) It just shouts his commitment to his lovely wife and their marriage.

Remember when there was all the gossip when he appeared without his wedding ring (it was being refurbished/cleaned)? I think there was a lot of commentary at huffpo. It’s all made-up controversy since he is such a man of grace, integrity, honesty.

I love his hands, I consider them iconic. In particular the hand bearing his wedding ring. It’s a beautiful ring, unique, and IMO resonates love, commitment and devotion to Michelle, their marriage and their girls.

It never fails to catch my attention.

I’m glad to see him getting in a round of golf. He takes great care in the maintenance of his well-being, essential for a high functioning individual.

I remember reading that his ring has a traditional Indonesian pattern. Very thoughtful for his bride to choose that.

LOL at the Simpsons’ pic! Indeed, a picture is worth a thousand words! I agree, POTUS is pretty good at tuning out the eejits!

Part of the reason they hate on him is because even with all the stress, he’s still gorgeous. He’s supposed to look like a gargoyle by now. Remember Bush two years into his presidency? He didn’t just have gray hair, but he was wrinkled and covered in liver spots! LOL, and “that one!” is still gorgeous with nice clear skin and a fit physique. And the gray just makes him look even more distinguished.

Proud of Obama….I’m glad to see that the POTUS wears his wedding ring also. I heard that Prince William will not be wearing a ring when he marries Kate what’s her name. I wonder why that is. If true that wouldn’t work with me. If I wore a ring, he would too.

      April 3, 2011 at 4:57 pm

Yeah, what’s up with Prince William? See to me POTUS wearing his ring says “I’m taken and I’m proud I’m taken by the gorgeous woman I’m married too.” Sigh.

And I agree with all those who say the haters really, really hate that they can’t erase PBO’s million dollar smile and his good looks. I’m sure his workouts and golf not only keep him fit, but helps him fight the stress.

I just heard this morning the reason is neither his dad or granddad (is he still around?), or some family member, wear wedding rings, so I guess he’s just following suit. Must be a family tradition.

Maybe be a family tradition, but it’s 2011,and if I was Kate I would tell Mr Willy boy that traditions are made to be broken. For many, many, many years it has been a tradition for a man and woman who are getting married to exchange rings as a show of their love and commitment to one another. Maybe I’m old fashion but I think when a man gets married he should wear a wedding ring, just like the woman should wear one. But hay, he’s a Prince, maybe a King one day, so I guess he can do what he want. Best wishes to them. I hope he is alot more happy in his marriage then his Mother was.

I think the golf, the workouts helps, I think his christian faith helps too. But I also remember hearing the First Lady say that when he comes home, he try to leaves all that other stuff at the door, and it’s family time when he walk in the residence. It’s time to see how Malia and Sasha day went, it’s Daddy time, it’s husband time,it’s Bo time, it’s time to be a family. I think that help reduce the stress too. I believe they do their best to look after him and he does his best to look after them. That’s family. And maybe that has something to do with that beautiful smile of his too. Let us continue to pray for him and his family.

Anniebella and all of my dear friend above who were commenting on how our POTUS looks, I concur. I think with all of the stress and trying to stay focus; he has to get this time to do the golfing etc. Also, remember when he was campaigning, his Toot(grandmother) told him when he called her at one point to check on her and ask her how he did with his speech, and Toot said to him,”Barry, smile more.” I sometimes think that when he smiles, he makes an effort to really think about her. So when I see his smile, I now think about him missing his mother, grandmother, and grandfather and wished that they were here to see him work so hard as the most powerful man on this earth. So we will celebrate with him when he smiles, and do those things that will help him honor them. We will elect our wonderful President again in 2012 with God’s grace and favor.

To my dear family here, I want to thank all of you for being so thoughtful and respectful. I enjoy this space because I listen, I read, and I hear peaceful kind hearted people. I was just watching C-SPAN, and I tried to listen to Romney, and I thought, how can we give this person(if he gets the nomination) this office after President Obama has worked his bottom off to clean up this mess? Romney was just standing there with no personality (in my opinion) no energy, and spouting off what needs to be done etc., and I just said, no way, you will not get to waltz into the WhiteHouse after this man has done all of the heavy lifting. NO WAY! and NOT THIS TIME. We have to get out there and do everything we can to get President Obama a second term. He has worked too hard and he deserves another term. Plain and simple. Then guess who came on next, Chuck Grassley of Iowa introducing Rand Paul. I listened for a few minutes and had to click the off button. No, they will not get this one ,not at this defining moment.

Amen to all you’ve said HZ. If any of these miscreants were to become president instead of PBO, I have my passport on the ready. I will accept no other and no less than Barack Obama as my president for the ensuing 5 years. God help us all after that.

When Romney was governor I think MA was 47th in job creation. His approval was so dismal he didn’t run again. He doesn’t know how to create jobs, he has no integrity, and would be a disaster in foreign policy. Plus, he is mean to his dog (drove with his dog in a crate on the roof of the car).

Just to change the subject for a minute. I was in the mood to listen to Beyonce sing “At Last” for POTUS and FLOTUS first dance as our President and First Lady. Even though it’s been alittle over two years it was still as wonderful as the night it happen. Beyonce sung her heart out, and the President showed what a pretty good slow dancer he is. I’m thinking how will they top that in 2012? Well let’s get busy, so we can see. Good night to all.
