President Obama greets well-wishers after arriving at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York to attend campaign fundraising events, April 27
LOVE this photo. President Obama is the warmest person, just so sweet and positive. I’m feel so fortunate to be a witness to these qualities and to benefit from his grace.
Love you comment, Meta. I concur with you. What a blessing to be living with a leader with compassion, brilliance, and hard work 24/7. I really believe that he gets very little sleep.
CNN’S WOLF BLITZER WHO HAS ALWAYS HAD NOSE TROUBLE HAS BEEN PURSUING A VARIETY OF TALKING HEADS TO FURTHER THE BIRTHER DISCUSSION. NOW THEY ARE ZOOMING IN ON HIS EDUCATION. THIS IS TRULY THE ULTIMATE IN ‘INSANITY!’
These pictures say it all. Love and respect will beat out hate and mistrust every time. I have a special place in my heart for those 70 and above who have seen and lived through the institutional racism that long plagued our country and come out on the other side loving, admiring, and voting for someone from a group that they have been taught to hate. Anyone can change. During the 2008 campaign, I loved seeing the elderly Caucasian, Asian, Hispanic, and Muslim women who proudly wore their “Tell your mama to vote for Obama” tee shirts.
I wonder what was on her mind as she looked at him and then held him?
She may have reminded him of his grandmother. This woman is definitely the grandmotherly type and her actions seem to be telling the president that, “It’s okay, grandson, I love you.”
I am so glad that there were supporters to greet him and show him that most of the country thinks he’s the best. After the stupid fest by the press, seeing real people must warm his heart.
Those two images are fabulous. That woman looks to be saying so much with her intense gaze and tight lipped smile. I do hope she told the President how much we all love, appreciate and respect him.
I don’t watch cnn, fox, most of msnbc, cspan other than senate when in session, that leaves me with pbs, bbc and hgtv. It has a lot to do with borderline high blood pressure. It’s funny I get all of my news on line from all you guys. I put it on facebook for all of my family and their friends and their friends.
That picture speaks volume’s – Thanks Chipsticks!

Lawd, I hope he is getting sleep on the plane. It’s been a long day for my Prez, and it’s not over yet. Have mercy!

I am boycotting, as well as writing letters. I have no problem boycotting companies that choose to advertise with them as well.
I stopped watching Mr. Fake Teeth years ago.
