He sounded like he was going to cry speaking about his honey, his rock. Damn, he’s good. Nite all
Good night everybody here at TOD. See you tomorrow.
Good Night Chipsticks. What a wonderful way to close the evening with our POTUS and FLOTUS laughing and expressing such beautiful words about each other and their family. They are such a lovely couple to watch as they make this journey together with the American people who want to come along. Then to see(in photo 2), him working just as hard as he has been today remind us of his often sincere statement, “Let’s get the business of the American people done today gentlemen. We’ve got a lot of work to do. I appreciate it. Thank you.”
Thank you also, Chipsticks.
Another good day!
Good night, everyone! Sleep tight!
What sincere sentiments and love and respect for each other. One of Michelle’s comments stood out for me – paraphrasing – the question wasn’t whether he was ready, the question was whether we were ready for him. So true. Day after day of this presidency we’ve seen people who have been ready for this President, and those who haven’t. To those who haven’t, my sincere belief is that they will realize, hopefully sooner rather than later, that this President is the best thing that could have happened to this country at this time. The most hard working and effective President. Four more years is the least we can do for this country.
What is not to love about these two amazing people? What a wonderful gift from GOD!!
Chips, Thank you for posting that video clip from Oprah. Viewing it was such a great way to start my day. I had not seen that part in which he tells the world Michelle is his “rock.” So wonderful to hear her being praised like that. The first couple is solid gold. LOVE them so much!
That was an amazing Oprah’s interview with President & Mrs. Obama. They are very honest and we could learn a lot about marriage from them.
I WATCHED THE OPRAH SHOW AND THE PRESIDENT’S INTENSE STATEMENT OF HIS LOVE FOR HIS WIFE AND DAUGHTERS WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!…:)
