Good for Iman … uh … Crossan? I really love that type of routine which I’m sure has a name. Perhaps someone will tell me?
Lunch now, then planting the rest of those 25 roots of hosta.
Okay that ending was pretty darn funny.. two terms please & love the walk. Definitely two terms, coming up on a sterling platter Mr. President
This is too damn funny Thanks Hachikō!
I’ve watched this video like 10 times since this morning!! My office has been rolling all day about this!! I have seen alot of this guy’s spoofs, HOW IS HE NOT ON SNL??!!! Every time Obama makes a speech, he should be on SNL with the “other” version!! LOVE HIM!!
Oh & doing the wheelchair at the end is my FAV part!!
He’s a much better Obama than that wet noodle they currently have playing him.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!! You made me pull out my android at work so I could view this. I remember this guy from the primaries and general election — he has a great POTUS spoof set to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.” He needs to be famous.
This is PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!

Hey guys, I’ve been sick and haven’t slept all night. Have you guys heard about the helicopter that the Seal team were supposed to have blown? Well it wasn’t completely destroyed and it revealed a secret we’ve been keeping for 30 years: Just how fantastic and complex and different our stealth helos are. The huge problem is that with all the crap congress has been talking about Pakistan, the Pakistanis are even more pissed off at us than usual and they may turn around and hand over our baby to the Chinese who have always wanted to build stealths but haven’t known how to. Fuck!! Shit!! I’m so fricking pissed and nervous. God please, let them calm down and realize that we need each other and that they desperately need our $1.3-3 billion a year. Please let them not give our technology to China or Russia. I’ve been worrying about this since midnight. God, I feel sick to my stomach. Pictures of the helos are all over the Internet and helicopter fanatics have been running their mouths all over the place. There are news articles about it. The Pentagon is saying absolutely nothing about it. But reportings imply that they must be worried about it. I was worried about it before I heard the reporting. Last night I was just messing around on the computer, went to yahoo.com and there it was, right in my face.
That seems like one big conspiracy theory…*ok, we’ll see*
I think you should relax. I have seen the pictures of the destroyed tail of the plane, the Seals destroyed the bulk of the plane, but not the tail. Also, I don’t think “we” really need Pakistan for anything besides getting stuff to our Afghan troops.
I understand you are upset. I never knew that China wanted to make certain military airplanes, so thanks for informing me about that. All the pics of the airplane I saw were simply of the tail, and on CNN earlier this week many were guessing what the plane looked like. After reading your post now I understand why the Seals destroyed the plane, since many countries want to make somethings on America makes. So are there new pictures out there of the plane, besides them ones that shows the tail in OBL’s yard?
Here’s what I’ve been seeing, it’s a slide show and it’s numner 5:
Thanks for bringing this up, checking on this I got more information on the “malfunction”:
Commando Black Hawk Was Downed by Vortex, Not Mechanical Flaw
House Armed Services Committee Chairman Representative Howard McKeon of California reiterated in Washington today that “it was not a mechanical failure.” He also said he had “no sense from the military that they had any concerns about” leaving wreckage of the modified Black Hawk, said McKeon, who was briefed yesterday by McRaven. The commandos detonated an explosive to destroy the helicopter, which the Army Times reports was a specially configured stealth model Black Hawk. Two 160th additional MH-47 special operations Chinook helicopters provided back-up and assisted in flying out the raiders.
It’s quite remarkable how eager the media is to give away our secrets, and mention things that could jeopardize the safety of the troops and the country. I wonder if these people had just kept quiet if anyone would have noticed the stealth details of the helicopter… Just asking…
This is from the Army Times: Mission helo was secret stealth Black Hawk

The helicopters that flew the Navy SEALs on the mission to kill Osama bin Laden were a radar-evading variant of the special operations MH-60 Black Hawk, according to a retired special operations aviator.
The helicopter’s low-observable technology is similar to that of the F-117 Stealth Fighter the retired special operations aviator said. “It really didn’t look like a traditional Black Hawk,” he said. It had “hard edges, sort of like an … F-117, you know how they have those distinctive edges and angles — that’s what they had on this one.”
In addition, “in order to keep the radar cross-section down, you have to do something to treat the windshield,” he said. If a special coating was applied to the windshield it is “very plausible” that would make the helicopter more difficult to fly for pilots wearing night-vision goggles, he said. The helicopters carrying the SEALs arrived over the bin Laden compound at about 1 a.m. Monday local time. One crash-landed in the courtyard and was so badly damaged it was unable to take off again.
That crash landing might have been caused by a phenomenon known as “settling with power,” which occurs when a helicopter descends too quickly because its rotors cannot get the lift required from the turbulent air of their own downwash. “It’s hard to settle with power in a Black Hawk, but then again, if they were using one of these [low-observable helicopters], working at max gross weight, it’s certainly plausible that they could have because they would have been flying so heavy,” the retired special operations aviator said, noting that low-observable modifications added “several hundred pounds” to the weight of the MH-60, which already weighs about 500 to 1000 pounds more than a regular UH-60 Black Hawk.
The special operations troops on the bin Laden mission destroyed the stricken aircraft — most likely using thermite grenades — but the resultant fire left the helicopter’s tail boom, tail rotor assembly and horizontal stabilizers intact in the compound’s courtyard.
Photographs of the wreckage taken the next day raced around the Internet, creating a firestorm of speculation among military aviation enthusiasts because the tail of the helicopter did not resemble any officially acknowledged U.S. military airframe.
This was to be expected, the retired special operations aviator said. “Certain parts of the fuselage, the nose and the tail had these various almost like snap-on parts to them that gave it the very unique appearance,” he said. He and another source referred to the disc-shaped device that is seen covering the tail rotor in the photographs as a “hubcap.”
If the radar-evading technology worked, it “would be a true statement” to say that the use of the low-observable Black Hawks was evidence that the United States gave Pakistani authorities no advance warning of the mission, the retired special operations aviator added. more »
Awesome work northanger. Thanks so much for this, I really appreciate it.
No problem! Hope this helps, if not I can keep looking. Several aviation boards I’m on are talking about this.
I think these two links are also important (even though later info would be revised):
Press Briefing by Senior Administration Officials on the Killing of Osama bin Laden, which occurred after President Obama told the nation that bin Laden was dead on May 2nd at 12:03 A.M. EDT
Press Briefing by Press Secretary Jay Carney and Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism John Brennan, 5/2/2011
I heard one of the NY firefighters today appreciate that all of the Navy SEALs returned uninjured. I got the sense that after losing so many of their fellow firefighters on 9/11, to perform this mission without loss of life was a true blessing.
Believe me, we can deal with a busted helicopter tail
What’s the conspiracy? The helo didn’t blow up completely. The Pakistani’s are using kids to find all the parts there are news/ video proof of it, you can see it on AC 360. There are pictures on credible news sources ie CNN and MSNBC of the helicopter. I highly doubt this is a conspiracy.
Though I use the word credible loosely, their is video proof of it and reporters stationed in Abbotobad have been reporting on it.
The only thing that was not destroyed was the tail of the plane! One cannot build an airplane like ours solely of a destroyed tail.
That is hilarious! I adore that guy. He’s had the President’s swagger down cold since back in 2008.
That was good reminds me of this one, the memorizes.
That’s a great video! I’m gonna share it with friends and family. Now on to the “panic”. Please calm down – where is your faith in our POTUS Lisa. You’re like henny-penny – the sky is always falling down around you. Trust that President Obama and our military is aware and are working on it. How do YOU know that Pakistan is not turning it over to the US as penance for them “sleeping on the job”? You don’t. So please stop spreading unfounded theories.
I do admit I am nervous about the potential of this, but I do trust the president and it is my hope that things work out. I’m sorry if you believe that I’m trying to be negative, I was just communicating something that I was concerned about in terms of what it could mean for the president. He already has so many things to deal with, I’m hoping that this isn’t something else to add to his plate. Since when is expressing concern spreading “unfounded theories”? It’s okay to be worried and concerned not only for each other, but the president too. Just because I express my worry for him, doesn’t make me distrust him or have too little faith in the president. I simply thought that since this was a community bound together for love of PBO, we could all express our love, care, concern or joy for or about the president. Last night, I heard and saw somethings that concerned me and I wanted to express it because it bothered me, but I was also wanting to know if anyone else knew anything about it. Just because you may not want to hear something that someone else has to say, doesn’t invalidate it. And just because I’m concerned about the president, doesn’t invalidate my love, care or trust of him. Lately, I’ve noticed in our communications with each other(I’m talking generally) we seem to be assigning negative or malicious intent to each other, simply because something was said that we either doesn’t agree with or because the idea makes us uncomfortable. There is no need for that. We all care about PBO and hopefully, each other’s wellbeing too.
Your concern is appreciated – and we do have a family atmosphere here. I’m a person who see’s a glass half full.
Lisa, one thing we need to remember is that the media has been angling to find something negative in an otherwise flawless execution. They have been pushing different angles, from release of the photos to the so-called changing storyline of the WH. Furthermore, the media (particularly the cable networks like CNN) are inclined to exaggerate reports of foreign “anger” at the US because (1) it makes for drama/ratings, and (2) it serves the GOP narrative that somehow, President Obama’s foreign policy ygields a global impact just as negative as Bush’s foreign policy.
Keeping all of this in mind, I would take their “reports” with a measurable amount of skepticism. I am willing to bet that over the next 2-3 weeks, this report is likely to be debunked.
I’m hopeful, hopefruit2
They have to give our shit back; we have too much on them and they owe us for their F—up. Have more faith in the administration’s and the military’s ability to deal with this, whatever the real truth is (you know how these things sound in the media). They do not want us coming after them.
Five will get you ten, this story is being pushed by the Republicans to take some of the shine off the operation.
… and is being blown all out of proportion — ratings, you know.
Lisa, I understand your panic. I do wonder if anything was left by the Seals that was important, though. They’re pretty smart, they know what they’re doing. Wait and see if there’s anything to this and try to look on the best side. These commentators make me so angry, getting people upset with these half-cocked news stories.
Or crocked, as the case may be.
True, I should know better, but I really am sick and sleep deprived, so I’ll ask for your forebearance, with the “chicken little,” “henny-penny” stuff. Thanks Joan
I actually saw pictures at The Daily Beast site last night that have all the pictures taken by the Pakistanis and yes, you can see it and it is very weird looking just like a stealth helicopter. I wondered if they could even sit up in it, it was so flat.
WARNING if you look at the pictures there are two of dead men. I just checked and they aren’t on the front page today in case you are curious. You will have to hunt for them.
I actually went to The Daily Beast to look at all the pictures of the hunky looking SEALLS in training. There are at least 13 pictures of them. I love the one with them underwater in shorts with their hanss and ankles tied……well not that part but the guys in shorts with all those muscles and beautiful bodies.
This is just the link to the site. You may have to look around for the pictures of the Compound after the attack with the helicopter. I highly recommmend finding the pictures of the SEALS……..oooohh laaaaaa laaaaaaaaah
I just looked at some new pictures of the wrecked plane, and people still are guessing of what type of plane it is. I feel like America has the best military equipment. This plane could not be heard until it got really close to OBL’s house, so Lisa might be right that other countries would love to make their own version of the plane. However, since this plane is destroyed I think it will always be a mystery as to exactly how the plane was made, and what type of plane it is.
I appreciate it. You are hilarious, barb. But I really appreciate it
Love you, Lisa
The feelings are absolutely mutual, barb
darn. I was trying so hard to be good and not look at “hunky looking SEALLS in training”. I will being doing that the rest of the night! For shame!
northanger…………Oh my…….IT is really ashame, I mean shame, shame on me.
THAT IS WAY TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUNNY….AWESOME…THE PRESIDENT WILL GET A KICK OUT OF THAT ONE! SEND A COPY TO THE REPUGS! OVERNIGHT ONE TO GEORGE…THAT’S IF HE ANSWERS THE DOOR!LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!..:)))))))
“That’ll be two terms, please – thank you”
HAHAHA! that’s right, baby!
That was COOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!
Ha! You posted it! Too cool.
LOL. So funny. His spoofs about the President are hilarious. He sure kept us entertained during the primaries. And he is great.
