She was on some program earlier. Sorry, but I think she’s another who is allowing herself to be used by the media. She wrote Obama 2 years ago, or whatever it was, and she still doesn’t have a job. It’s part of the media’s theme, that Obama has failed on the jobs front. But during her interview she said she couldn’t work anyway. She has a new baby who was born premature and who needs special attention.
She spoke very highly of the president and said she still supports him and that she knows it will take longer to turn things around. her daughters illiness is whats keeping her from looking for work. She did not bash the president at all.
I didn’t see the program, but good that she didn’t bash Obama, because she will more than likely need Medicaid if her child’s prematurity leads to some special medical needs, as often is the case for preemies.
She’s been given some bad advice. The article says letters are going for $7 – 11, 000 and minus that guy’s commission, she’ll receive peanuts! Not a wise decision. Imagine if she kept the letter till after President Obama ends his second term – the letter will increase in value.
I haven’t watched the video yet, but does she say she’s selling the letter because she thinks POTUS is doing a terrible job? Or just because she needs the money?
Remember for every one of those folks who sell their letter there are another 10+ who did not. And I would bet my number is conservative.

The media, GOP and PL are getting increasingly unhappy because it appears that voters overwhelmingly prefer the President and the key demographics like Blacks, Latinos and LGBTs are supportive of this President. The GOP’s debate on Monday despite efforts to undermine the President, only served to highlight the sheer stupidity and ineffectuality of the GOP candidacy spectrum. Only 3.2 million viewers, despite much hype and announcement by CNN. The Republicans are flailing because voters just aren’t enthusiastic about ANY of these candidates, no matter how much the MSM tries to hype them up. So far none of those candidates – including Romney and Hunstman have anything over President Obama.
2012 is NOT going to be repeat of 2010. First of all, 2010 was a midterm and Barack Obama was not on the ballot. Many people don’t even know who their house rep is. Secondly, the Republicans were excessively motivated to vote because they were being egged on by the Teaparty movement, the MSM, the PL and others. So the so-called “enthusiasm gap” that the MSM was braying about was driven by an excess of Republican enthusiasm, rather than a deficit of DEM enthusiasm. Now the same voters realized that they were duped into voting for GOP governors and Teaparty congressmen/women who really didn’t care about them, but simply used them to try to get into office These voters are not about to let themselves be used like that in 2012. They want to hear SOLUTIONS, not simply “OBAMASUX.” The media is flailing, right along with those Republicans.
hopefruit, you are right on target. The American people see how hard this president is working to get this country back on track. They see how the rethugs are obstructing, passing laws that hurt Americans and have no solutions to help the country. The American voter is not stupid like the media and the rethugs think we are. They have seen this president in action on foreign policy. He’s kicked butt. And he represents our country so well internationally. They know no rethug can do this Not one. And they’re going to stick with President Obama.
That’s why after getting on tee vee and trying to spin how wonderful their candidates were at that clown show called a debate, they were meeting in secret today trying to find an alternative.
I agree with you hopefruit and proud, but unfortunately, even though people see, many will not look far enough to understand that jobs are not created by PBO, but he can only produce the climate for cooperation. Even if people sense that rethugs are damning all efforts, too many will not find the courage to fight along with PBO, but will cave because they feel exasperated. That’s not to say most, but I feel a significant number will be discouraged. This is why I pray each day that this damned economy turns for the better in a measureable way, and sustains the momentum. Then and only then will we see PBO’s numbers hit where they should have been, I feel, all along. Like in the 70′s, in the least. It’s the only way to counter all the other beefs some folks have with his policies.
