Oh yeah she and Malia’s papers will be out of ths world fantastic. I am so glad they’re being exposed to a variety of people, places and cultures. It broadens one’s mind and enhances one’s horizons and teaches one’s compassion, understanding, tolerance and sharpens one’s tools of dialogue and conflict resolution so that one can always strive to bring people of differing views to the same table to reach a harmonious conclusion.

ps: I spy with my eyes: Great food! :)

Not only the papers will be out of this world. Can you imagine the girls sitting around the table telling Daddy all about their trip, what they did, what they saw, who they meet, and letting Daddy know that they wish he was there with them.

From my long list of the reasons that I voted for BHO was the thought of AA girls living in the White House and having all of the experiences that children in such a position have. I love seeing them as they travel around the world with their parents becoming aware of the wider world, its various peoples and points of view. The knowledge and empathy that they gain will not only benefit them but others that they meet and engage with now and in the future.

I HAVE NOT BEEN WELL…SO I’VE NOT BEEN ON MUCH LATELY…HOWEVER…TODAY IS MY HOMELESS DAY AND ONCE I GET INTO THE INNER CITY AND HUG MY LOST ONES…I’LL FEEL BETTER! IT’S A GREAT DOSE OF JOY MEDICINE FOR THE SOUL.

  5. June 25, 2011 at 9:50 am

It’s really great to be a part of the hugh crowd the first lady packed in her suitcase when she went on this great adventure to South Africa.

  6. June 25, 2011 at 9:58 am

Is this the day for the safari? I hope there will be pictures of that. I was thinking the other day when the First Lady was doing push -ups and sit- ups, this lady is used to exercising, so when the haters want to go after her when they see her eating ice cream or french fries every once and a while. Remember her doing the push-ups and sit-ups. And then haters shut up.

Thanks for the continuing coverage. The Lady Obamas are simply awesome. LOVE THEM!!!

I really wanted this safari to be private so that the AP and the “Lame stream media” can report to us and take pictures of the the first family. Sorry if you are confused by my Palinguage  then  you have to earn a first grade degree to understand what I just said.

Oh no me4obama have you been possessed by Paliniteism?

Symptoms: Speaking gibberish. Tweeting incoherent BS. Attending 6 different colleges, “graduating” with a degree in “journalism”. Uncontrollable winking and the use of the phrase “You Betcha!” Screwing up US History while proclaiming to be a patriot. Forgetting how to write in proper sentence structure and use correct grammar. Being a whiny, petty, vindictive all around mean creature. Making up words and being proud of your ignorance.

Prescription: Run to your local library and pick up a book NOW! Reject ignorance and its cousins; stupidity and foolishness. Get thee to a grammar school and learn proper english. Get thee to a phonetics instructor and instead of saying winkin’ you can be taught to add the “g” and say winking. Enroll in a community service program to make yourself a more decent human being. If all these do not work? Pray! Pray! PRAY! Right Now. PRAY THE PALINITEISM AWAY! and hope that somehow you can find your soul in that dark abysmal mess that passes for a human being.

Thank you so much Chipsticks for the continued coverage of this epic trip. We are viewing and experiencing things that will remain in our memories – as I suspect the same is happening for Mrs. Robinson. The children on this trip will probably experience this many times over, but for us older folks – it’s almost a once in a lifetime adventure. I humbly thank you again for your hard work Chipsticks!

  12. June 25, 2011 at 11:49 am

Ooooo….. I love the safari pics — who would have thought we would be watching a black first family on safari in Africa ?!?!?! ….. sometimes I just have to step back and get perspective…… sometimes my mind just blows!

Mrs. Robinson is looking cool as can be — I see you!

I wonder what happened to the woman in the back sitting next to Malia in the second and third pictures – one minute she’s there and the next minutes she’s gone. Not a good thing to see someone “disappear” on Safari… :)

Anyone else here livid with Maddow and her gay bashing of POTUS? Anyone else here furious that Congress is hypocritical and had the nerve to vote against a sitting President, while continuing to fund the NATO support? Anyone else here sick of the GOP all over the tube saying that POTUS needs to give a budget to avoid the debt ceiling default when he did that in April Anyone else here just plain damn mad about all the hate that is spewing forth daily from the media at this President.

It is unprecedented when the hate from progressives is just as unrelentless as it is from the batshytcrazyrightwingers!

Well, I am angry about it but I know that this is just the thunder and lightening before the storm. See, I know that this President is doing precisely what he told us he would that is within his executive power to do. I know that the intensity of the hate and the nastiness of the villification is directly proportional to how much POTUS is winning!!

Yes, he is doing what we elected him to do, and the status quo is mad as hell. It is not just the GOP but he has upset the Democrats power lobbies as well, they all been swimming in dirty water and this POTUS is not willing to get in the cesspool…so they are attacking from all sides.

Big Change is coming though..it is just around the corner…the military industrial complex is mad cause he will not capitulate to their demands for endless war. POTUS is unwilling to sign off on pork barrel projects when he knows we need to invest in our schools and infrastructure.

Congress is at war with this President because he could not be bought. Make no mistake as to why all the hate.

So I am looking forward to the next big QUAKE that is going to shakeup the power structure and Obama will be on top smilin down and the idiots who challenged him are going to wonder once more …wtf just happened?!

POTUS is moving forward and the status quo is afraid. They have never seen a POTUS weld power like this. They cannot predict his moves nor out think or strategize him. He is brilliant and all they have left is to spew hate.

We who elected him just have to recall, change is not easy.

Remember what Ghandi said…first they ignore you then laugh at you then they fight you…then you win.

We are in the fight phase!! Full of hate, hypocrites, charlatans, liars and media paid sharks from powerful lobbies

Let’s have his back!! Be strong.

Very livid. People are calling her out on twitter. But I’m not surprised at her attack though, she’s childish.

I never go to HuffPost but over at BWD someone said she was getting clobbered in the comments there and so I took a look and yes she is getting it. Someone compared her to Rushbo. Wow.

Yes, I noticed that there is no love for RM over there because of those remarks…she will be toning down her anti-Obama remarks in the coming weeks. The Libertarian folk over at Old Orange and the few pundits on MSNBC that Maddow pals around with do NOT represent the majority of New Yorkers, gay or straight, who LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this President.

Thanks figjam. Your comments have fortified me enough to leave this blog and continue with my gardening, assured that others know the beauty of our President’s brilliance. Keep the truth coming. Have a blessed day :-D

I agree with you, fig8jam. I will not let them upset me, I will continue to do what I can do to support the POTUS. The fact that they will still fund the mission in Libya shows that they are only upset because they got their feelings hurt, because he didn’t “ask” their permission. They can also use it to show their “base” that they are fighting the President, and hope they will get people to donate.
