Here’s a shallow comment from someone who is extremely distracted these days: I trust Obama. I trust his team, because he chose them and is leading them. Freaking out as perfected to an art form in leftopia or faux-leftopia, as in today’s performance, is not a choice I make. Maybe dealing with serious health issues has an upside – my priorities are fixed. There is enough to worry about without reaching for more. I found this photo reasuuring. Thanks Mr S, thanks Ms C.

I love the picture and the description. I needed a smile.:) I remember last December after the midterms I went to whitehouse.gov and sent President Obama a don’t give up email letter, letting him know that millions of us was behind him. I guess I will never know if he got it or read it. But I also suggested that since he had to deal with the Republicans he should tackle the tax code and reform it. Since Republicans like taxes so much. Much to my surprise I see that is just what he and Boner (on purpose) is doing I think.
I’m thinking, Boner need a win, and so do President Obama. And if the 2 of them can pull this off. They both win. And the country get a new decent fair tax code, and the debt limit will be raised until after the next election. Default is off the table, and so will a lot of taxes for millionaires. That mean the Tea Party will not win. I’m sure Boner would rather deal with President Obama than the cracked and crazy branch of his party. I’m hoping it all work.
