First, yesterday I made a comment on a thread where I stated just how proud I was that we were succeeding in getting our collective voices heard, but I forgot to mention and give thanks to a person who has made this forum possible and that’s Chipsticks.

Without her and others like BWD, TPV, and WSY who had seen there was a void and decided to step in and fill it, we all owe a debt of gratitude.

Thanks Chips for providing this vehicle for change!

HUMOR: (found on Facebook) “The economy is so bad that I got a pre-declined credit card in the mail. Exxon-Mobil laid off 25 Congressmen. Angelina Jolie adopted a child from America. Motel Six won’t leave the light on anymore. A picture is now only worth 200 words. They renamed Wall Street ” Wal-Mart Street…”Finally, I called the Suicide Hotline. I got a call center in Pakistan and when I told them I was suicidal, they got all excited, and asked if I could drive a truck.”

Our President is the hardest working man. There is no time off from the nations business. Do hope he gets some real down time with his girls.

Our President, always working!! I don’t know whay the idiots in the media don’t just call out the repugs on this vacation nonsense. No President is ever on vacation, and last time I looked, Martha’s Vineyard is still part of the USA.

I was so glad to tweet this to the media, the GOP, and Multiple Choice Romney. All of them whining about a paltry 10 day working vacation. As President, the WhiteHouse travels with him EVERYWHERE. So they all need to stop whining and moaning. He woke up early to receive a National Security Briefing. How many people on their vacation do that? How many people on their vacation still carry the world on their shoulders? How many people on their vacation still wake up early in the morning to work? Mr.President ignore the peanut gallery and have as much of a rockin’ time as you can.

Thanks UT. It is so wonderful to see our intense, hardworking President working for us. He is the President we must keep for another term for sure. I love my President and I am so grateful for him each and everyday. God be with him in wisdom, calmness, firmness, and give him lots of rest as he continues to work for us. We love you, Mr. President and our beautiful First Lady.

I imagine one topic they are discussing is the rapid closure by the Libyan Freedom Fighters/National Liberation Army on Tripoli – from all directions and the reality of the naval guns and helis coming from the sea.

You’re reading it here long before the newstainers and corporate media are sharing these developments with anyone :)

Thanks for this Bob. Finally, the newstainers, at least MSNBC, did a credible job on Libya this morning and afternoon. Plus the official word is that it looks like Gaddafi might be stepping down soon and Tunisia is working out details to grant him asylum. Crossing my fingers that when he finally steps down, the people come together to form a better government. I’m glad President Obama didn’t do this unilaterally. With a coalition, you get better results.

Most of that stuff on MSNBC is bull$%^t, unfortunately, ut.

For starters, Tunisia is now a signatory of the ICC and would be legally bound to detain and render to The Hague Daffi and his son Saif. Beyond that, literally 10s of thousands of Libyan refugees in Tunisia would go after him with a vengeance that would ignite even more unrest in Tunisia – the place, as you know, where the ‘Arab Spring’ began, to wit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arab_Spring#Tunisian_revolution

So, those paying close attention have given the rumors many grains of salt.

And – “#UK MILITARY OPS SHIP “HMS LIVERPOOL” now departing #Malta headed South to help #Freedomfighters. #Libya #Feb17″

That’s south to firing range on Tripoli – you can count on it.

      And:

#NTC spokesman in Zliten says rebels joined Misurata rebels took control of most of Zliten and total control of Sarman to the west.#libya

@feb17voices Feb 17 voices AJA: spokesman of opposition fighters in #Zliten in front of Mosque of Abd As-Salam Al-Asmar; center of city under their control #Libya

Closing from the east and the west and the south very rapidly over the past five days …

We have a great man in the Oval Office who will listen, weighevery report and briefing, and make his final call. I have enough trust in his brilliant mind to do the right thing. Plus he has surrounded himself with men and women who have stated that they love working for this President. Keep him safe, dear Father.
