Could any one tell me why CNN is hosting a ‘Tea Party’ debate, thereby attempting to give some respectability to an organization made up of racists, bigots and all-round nutjobs? What next? The KKK-sponsored debate?

Wonder when the CNN/KKK/Skinheads sponsored debate will be, or was this a combined effort seeing as the Te party is their “political” umbrella organization!!!

I watch some of it between football! I think CNN wants that Wacko money Fox is getting in advertising…..that’s the only thing that makes sense…….cause even after the debate and they were talking to the TeaParty people and candidates, Anderson Cooper and the other CNN people were looking at each other like, “you believe these wack jobs??!”

I clicked on the feed upthread and saw that the debate hasn’t started. The big screen was scrolling the sponsors of the debate. Has anyone made a list of those sponsors? It is too far away for me to see on my computer, but we should probably take note of them.

See, we really aren’t racists since we like that Herman Cain!!!

  18. September 12, 2011 at 8:06 pm

HAHAHAHAHA @ those signs. I wasn’t gonna check it out, but now with those signs, I’m reminded what monumental clowns the teapublicans are and I may pop into the debate/clown show a few times. It’s easy for me to watch GOP shenanigans — I have no connection to any of these dummies.

…..so now I’m tuning into CNN and the Very Dramatic Intro is complete with soundtrack music and movie-type voiceovers — they’re doing a glitzy recap of each of the candidates: way too complimentary —
    Romney “The Early Frontrunner,”
    Perry “The Newcomer,”
    Bachmann “The Firebrand,”
    Huntsman “The DIplomat”,
    Paul “The Libertarian,”
    Santorium “The Fighter,”
    Cain “The Businessman,”
Gingrich “The Thinker” <—– .

This is gonna be a hot ass flaming mess! CNN will be cheering all the way — I've never seen Wolf so animated….. pitiful

  19. September 12, 2011 at 8:08 pm

Now Romney is attacking Perry for calling SS a ponzi scheme and wanting it to be a state program. Now Perry said that Romney also called SS criminal in his book.

What gets me is that the want government to be inconsequential for anything that stands in the way of business — raping the land, our safety, our water, our air, safe drugs and food.

But when it comes to what women do with their bodies, or what happens in the bedroom between consenting adults — they want constitutional amendments to police that.

Romney is forcing him to answer his Social Security question – is SS unconstitutional and should it be returned to the States.

More interesting with Patti Davis, Reagan’s daughter on LOD. And I can’t watch the ignorant debate, but I wonder if any will continue to reference Reagan as they are so fond of doing after she wrote a piece for Time slamming the Repub candidates for using his name. She said that they can reference his name till their tongues fall out but they will never come close to even being in his shadow. She said the most disgusting thing—-she wanted to call it blasphemy—-was the huge applause for Perry executing over 200 people. She asked, “Who are these people?” She expressed complete disgust with these Repub candidates.

Patti Davis, Reagan’s daughter is on Lawry bashing the GOP presidential field. Then she said, something like (paraphrasing): I don’t see my father in them, I don’t see him in our/this president. At one point I thought I did- ( I think somewhere in there she said that she was disappointed or maybe I am inferring from her affect and statement as saying she was disappointed PBO wasn’t like her daddy) then Lawry cut her off and redirected her back to bashing the GOP. She dislikes them intensely. What?! She thought PBO was Reagan reincarnated? Is she for real? She does know that regardless of what the right thinks, Reagan wasn’t a God right? He was a so-so actor who was a democrat before he got rich and decided that he should be a repug?

I’m not watching, but what I gather, she’s probably saying that President Obama is a transformative figure like her father Reagan was. As bad as Reagan’s policies were, people listened to him, and he energized people to vote. President Obama said he’s a tranformative figure dating back to when he was still a candidate…. I could be wrong, but just my take.

I agree with her about President Obama being like President Reagan. I was young when President Reagan was in office but he was the Great Communicator and now President Obama has become that to America. President Reagan was good looking and so is President Obama. Yes, I’m being superficial at the moment, that’s me.

she didn’t say they were alike. she said at one point she thought PBO was like him.—– Implying some sort of disappointment. Lawry quickly cut her off and got her going on the GOP again.

Bachmann said that PBO stole $500 million from Medicare and put it into Obamacare. LIE. Huntsman and the rest said Dodd-Frank is slwoing down business. As much as I disagree with Huntsman’s politics, he was right when he said that his party has become way too radical for the modern day. He knows he has no chance of winning the nomination, let alone the general IF he did, because he’d be forced to pick a radical Teapug as his running mate. 2012 is out the gate for him and so is 2016, because he can’t get any name recognition within his own party, let alone nationwide. He fucked up an excellent opportunity to be a meaningful candidate, he should have waited until 2016, when the Teapugs would have fizzled out. But hey, Huntsman is a Republican, and most Republicans are not known for their smarts.

Bachman said I am offended for the parents and for the children.

Santorum jumped in and said he is not sure what kids are learning in Texas schools but if it is similar to what is being taught in other schools Government has no right to force injections on children and his policy regardless of the reason behind it is wrong.

Ron Paul would rather leave the man to suffer and die because America is all about freedom and indiviudals. 112. September 12, 2011 at 10:18 pm

Bachmann might have re-established herself a bit when she went hard at Perry for the HPV forced vaccinations and his Merck connections. I think this is an issue that will stick with Perry as long as he’s in the race.

Romney was a non-entity tonight. He seemed content in letting Bachmann and even Santorum land blows on Perry. But in doing so he comes off looking weak – he needs to be taking these swings at Perry.

I didn’t like that Perry didn’t flip flop on immigration – he could make some inroads there should he make the general as he has been reasonably good on immigration in Texas.

There is too many candidates – but they can’t whittle them down because Huntsman would be the first to go as he polls the worst and he’s a MSM favorite.

Huntsman referencing Kurt Cobain and them saying he’s bring his Harley to the White House just makes him look like the trying too hard to be cool dad.
