A man shows his shirt that was signed by Vice President Joe Biden following a statement by President Obama in the Rose Garden at the White House, September 12
Just my like husband said about his new Bears t shirt which won the game for them yesterday. He said he’s not washing it until after the season and the shirt has taken the Bears to the Super Bowl. Some smelly but great news for Chgo fans!
Go Obama! That statement was wonderful this morning. The News Media don’t know what to do.
I been saying this for years, It not the Republican, its the News Media. Lots of people don’t have internet so there are more people with out computer then with computer. when they hear the right and the so called left media bashing the President they believe it. There are real people who still listen to the media and when they hear CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, Local News Paper Local News station bashing the President that does have an impact. The fight is with the MSM with out them the Republican party is nothing, Look at the News, new creation the Tea party, and lets not forget the News creation of WMD the war in Iraq, So let not fool our selves. if they had power to make these things happen so can they make the Next President of the United State. They did help Obama the last time because they did not want Sarah as VP. This time a round their man is Romney.
The News has more power then Democratic Or Republican, that why both are fearful of the MSM specially the Democrat. The News media was the reason Obama had to show his birth c. not the Republican. The News made it a big deal and cause the White people to fear that this man was not on of us. Including Democrat who voted for him I know because I had to tell some of my friends that the News is lying about Obama was not born here. Just like they made the Tea Party and protected them when people was saying some was racist. I don’t know what to do about the News Media because they all work together remember when Obama call out Fox News how they band together to take Obama down.
I stop watching (only look at rev. Al and c-span)and I gets my information from the internet. I email my opinion when I see things they have said about the President that is really out there which is mostly everyday.
All the News Media have their marching order to get Romney elected. Look at CNN Don lemon, he’s gay and black and he have to act as if the Tea Party is fair people in order to keep his Job. That they can be trusted to run this country.
dun you are so right. The MSM firewall is a BIG part of the problem.
A perfect example was the briefing that Press Secretary Jay Carney had with the GOP Press Corps at the Whtie House today. Jay’s special guest was OMB Director Jack Lew. It was great. He briefed the reporters on the American Jobs Act and answered their questions. He is very thorough and knowledgeable.
After he left, there was a lot of carrying water for the GOP and a lot of but, but, why questions from the reporters. It is obvious that the reporters don’t like the fact that President Obama and his administration have rolled out the AJA so flawlessly. They were nitpicking and you could really sense their frustration. I can’t wait to get the transcript from today. Jay was great.
I think you underestimate how many folks use the internet. Definitely more people with internet access than without at this point. My parents are in their 60′s and everybody in their social circle is online, my aunt is 70 and she is online, only getting the internet maybe 2-3 years ago but she’s all up in it now.
The internet has been mainstream for near 20 years now.
I just wish all these folks were logging on to the whitehouse.gov website periodically or at least signing up for updates. I continue to be amazed at the amount of valuable information at the site. There is always something interesting being posted. Never a dull moment.
Me too, Ladyhawke. I watched the Presidents Joints of Congress speech on .gov and was blown away at how effective it was in laying everything out so simply and cleanly. I think I posted a comment here on how this site should be the model for all future .gov’s. Kudos to the folks behind the scenes AND our President for setting such high standards.
If this is true, why a lot of people are miss informed. You may be right about middle income people but most low income people really don’t have a computer at home. My daughter work with low income people and most don’t have a computer at home. There are lots of low income people all over this country who don’t have access to the internet. My point was really about the media. The media is the reason i had to explain to my friends that Obama was born in the USA.
I have to tell you all something a little comical: I was on twitter and was ‘followed’ by someone named @nottherealPerry – I do what I always do- go to their twitter page and read about them, their comments to see if I want to follow in return. I went to this person’s page and it’s a replica of a report card, at the top is the name: James Richard… well lo and behold that happens to be my eldests son’s name and I was completely flumoxed as my son is neither very political nor on twitter- then I read further and realized it said: Perry, James Richard
I had no idea that Rick Perry and my son shared a name! Just had to call my dear son and tell him.. gave us both a chuckle & gratitude that Perry goes by the name of Rick!
I will never wash that shirt.

I guess he says he’ll take it however he can get it! (smile)
At least it is not his exposed breast.
Ha, that’s true!!!
I should add I applaud this gentleman’s resourcefulness…I’ld want Joe’s autograph too
I’m sitting in a meeting sneaking peaks at TOD, and I just snorted out loud at your comment! Too funny.

I think I heard someone say 80%. Not sure if that is just access to a computer or personally own one, but I agree most of the population is engaged.

Dun, I agree with you 100% The so called MSM is really the problem! Thankfully, with sites like this one, we can neutralize them somewhat.
I think this is adorable
