Love the First Lady.
As do I. What a thrill for these high school students!
She is a great first lady!
Ot: now we know why some house democrats came out against the Presidents jobs act?
Because Adam green just came out with his own and some house progressives apparently stands behind that one!
It’s getting ugly out there!
Jovie, I would not pay attention to Adam green; he is a clown fraudulant person. Adam green was trying to bank on Stephen Colbert’s Super Pac website by simply changing a letter or so. And we need to let LO know of that little pesky fact.
I’ll try to find the info for you of the whole story.

Adam Green and Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC) Rip Off Stephen Colbert
Is Adam Green a member of Congress? Has he ever run for, and won, elected office? Is he putting his name forward to challenge President Obama for 2012? Has he got a direct line to the White House to offer his “expert” opinion?
If not, then he’s no more relevant than anyone else. In fact, less so, since he’s working AGAINST change for the better.
Wonder why LOD has him on his show. Why? At whose insistence? His? Why do they all have to continue to invite and provoke controversy?
Exactly. Uninformed as I am, I saw him on LO (without hearing his name) and did not know who he was. But after the intro, I knew I didn’t care to know and turned off MSNBC. I kept thinking how many unknown entities go on the teevee machine and take credit for having PBO do what they say. Does President Obama even know who he is? By the way, who is Adam Green? Nobody!!!!
Miche is so beautiful!!! So glad she’s ours!!! :) :) :)
Yes, she Is, simply beautiful :-)
Sorry - I’m a blubbering, sentimental fool. When I see Mrs. Obama hosting young students at the White House, some of whom are African American, I cannot but think of those who built the White House, brick by brick. How far we’ve come is a beautiful sight to see. How far we need to go sometimes seems like eons away, but we’ll get there.
I know this is going to sound corny, but I always picture the spirits of those African Americans who built the White House surrounding it each night (and on very difficult days), hand in hand, and just keeping all bad things away. They must be so proud.
Not corny at all Theo and Jacqueline, I think about them often too, I’d like to believe they are now smiling down on the House they built.
I TOO PICTURE THOSE SAME SPIRITS PROTECTING OUR FIRST FAMILY…I TRUELY BELIEVE THEY ARE THERE!!!!
Okay gang, LO just said — unless I totally misunderstood — that PO said today that , of course, he would sign a bill that was only part of the bill he sent to them. LO is saying then he slogan will have to be changed to “Pass the rest of the bill.” SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And they’re off. It’s all a game to LO and the others. No thought process needed.
It’s all about slogans and gimmicks for these TV people. No mention that the only reason that a partial bill might have to be signed is because of GOP intransigence, once again. They go straight for the cheap shot.
I’m so glad I don’t watch this crap anymore. It took a while to get off the addiction, but it was worth it.
I’ve completely stopped watching LO, Rachel and Ed. I’ll watch Al Sharpton and thats about it. They are probably trying to get ratings now that school is back in session so people have better things to do besides listen to those blow hards.
First Lady Michelle Obama is gorgeous. I’m glad she keeps exposing the Washington area students and young adults to a diverse cultural, educational, and social palette. We’re so lucky to have her.
We are very fortunate to have First Lady Michelle Obama who has made herculean efforts to expose DC youth to an array of career opportunities because as you can see with the selection of the Cooper Hewitt winners year after year, the design fields as many others are dominated by white males. The inclusion of these youth is heartening but at the same It saddens me knowing that for the most part, these fields exclusively hire and merit their own. The best lessons for these young folk will be to work hard, seize opportunities and develop standing by way of their own networks and design firms.
So true, so true
Every time I come across a photo or video of the First Lady one word always comes to mind. GORGEOUS!!!. I love the work she does. She is amazing and unlike any other first lady I have ever even slightly paid attention to.
