The article written by Gene Lyons was disgusting and for Salon to allow that racist and sexist filth to run says a lot about them. I checked on twitter and it looks like @JoanWalsh is being called out and having to answer for such crap. Good on the twitterers. Salon’s twitter handle is @Salon. The nerve of them.

I saw that too. It’s all excuses excuses with this woman. First she castigated PBO for not saying anything about the good work unions do in a speech he gave. He actually did commend unions. Joan didn’t watch the full speech, but still felt it was okay to go off on a rabid rant against PBO. Then Professor Harris-Perry writes her very thoughtful spot on article and Joan rabidily attacks her; because; hey it’s ok I’m a white liberal and Professor Harris-Perry is my black friend; how can I be prejudiced. Then she tries to make excuses for this Gene Lyons piece of filth article. People should also let the owner of Salon David talbot know that they don’t appreciate such filth.
No wonder readership and viewership ratings are going down down the drain for Salon.
