    Hope springs eternal,

    If Gabby can Try

    If President Obama can Try

I can try everyday, even when I am discouraged, pooped and crabby.

    Press On

Lovely photos. I know Gabbie has had to work really hard to come back as far as she has from that horrible day. And from all indications, she has a great, supportive husband, which is so important to her continued recovery.

    Blessings to them both.

She was on my mind a few weeks ago.attended a party for successfully rehabbed former patients of the hospital I volunteer at. People who were told they’d never walk again, WALKED to the podium. No dry eyes.

OT, but don’t watch Tweety today if you don’t feel like throwing things. He and nauseating Fineman and Heilemann rip apart Obama’s press conference, loving all the braindead gotcha type questions, trying to make the whole thing a big negative for Obama. I was just astounded. I watched, and I can’t figure out what they saw. It was a complete denial of reality, turning a positive into a negative. Tweet even asked, “Is this guy running for re-election?”, saying he didn’t look like he cared etc. I can’t gut these idiots one more minute. They’re so dishonest, seeing what they want to see, constantly accentuating the negative, stirring up controversy, denying what is right in front of their faces. Tweety and Fineman—-that duo is enough to make you upchuck, or gather up a couple of cream pies and throw them in their faces, anything to get them to shut up, to stop the nonsense.

Tweety is such a fake. That’s why when just a few months ago he was railing against the GOP during the Debt debate, I paid no attention to the positive stuff he was saying about the president. Just give it a few weeks or months and sure enough he’s back bashing the president. They think they can affect peoples feeling about the president and I think people just don’t care what the pundits say.

Even ED SCHULTZ said this was one of Obamas best press conferences. I dont know what Chris or Howie were watching but it’s stunningly clear that neither know what the fuck they are talking about.

I could take about 5 minutes. The man is stone cold crazy. They have got to be jealous. This President is doing everything he can to get this country going in the right direction and these people give him no credit. I had to turn the channel. My blood pressure is just fine and I want to keep it that way. My joy came from seeing my wonderful President today and listening to his intelligent answers on domestic policy and foreign affairs. Nothing anyone of them can do. I’m going to stay happy. Looking forward to Reverend Al.

It’s shameless the shenanigans that the Republicans are going through to deny people like her from voting. Shameless and unAmerican!

      • October 6, 2011 at 8:00 pm

I can’t watch him anymore, either. Chris Matthews is a closet racist. He talks a good game. He is one of the most two-faced journalist that I have ever known!

          October 6, 2011 at 8:32 pm

          ” a closet racist.”

Thank you William Jackson for telling it like it is. We can wonder and ponder and feel incredulous, but the bottom line is they are 2 privileged white males who are mad that they are disappearing. They can’t even hide it. I’m so sure Chris and Howard both felt that phony “American exceptionalism” in their bones the night PBO got elected, and they gushed during the inauguration, but all this was, as for so many other privileged white males, a ruse to hide their true feelings. They also probably thought PBO would be a total disaster as some try, in vain, to label him, so they would feel justified in their contempt for the idea of there being a Black Commander-In-Chief. We should all just quit with the attempt at logic and call it what it always was, always will be…….racism!

Our entire media talking heads are racists (except Al Sharpton). I truly think that our media talking heads are more racists then the general public because they are speaking to the people who watch them and give them ratings.

I think a lot of the journalist that constantly bash the President daily are just mad that he didn’t pick them to be his Press Secretary. Frankly, I think Chris Matthews is still upset that he didn’t get the Meet The Press gig. Nobody! I mean NOBOBY in journalism today can fill Tim Russert’s shoe, or as I like to call him Big Russ II.

I think at this point people just watch Tweety and Fineman for entertainment. They are baying at the moon anf thank goodness a lot of folks don’t have cable to see that nonsense. No matter what PBO does, Tweety always find fault. He is irrelevant at this point. I am so happy that I turned him off during the campaign and only watch clips if someone here say that it is worth watching. At least Ed is out with the people and appear to be fighting for the middle class now. He can be wishy washy also. What is Tweety doing besides kissing Christie’s but?

      • 26 dotster3
        October 6, 2011 at 5:49 pm

Multiple personality Tweety is on a hyper anti-Obama tear today. Obama must have been too brilliant today and made him feel too inferior. Almost every sentence is a negative outlook for his reelection. He actually just said, “If you bought a car that turned out to be a clunker, would you buy the same kind of car next year?” OMG. And then he looked real smug, real pleased with himself. Is someone paying him to spout this nonsense? A bonus? It looks so preposterous, you have to wonder.

        • October 6, 2011 at 5:56 pm

is the analogy that PBO is a clunker and is the question then ‘should we then be buying the same clunker next year’?! Is that what that dumbass tool is implying? that PBO is a clunker that isn’t worth the cost of buying again? What a fucking shithead! what the fuck is wall street reform, ACA, repeal of DADT? START and every other piece of fricking legislation he’s passed in the last 2.5 years? WTF?! What a dirty, lying, little pig. :x

Not to mention that Chris Christie and Sarah Palin aren’t running, I’m guessing Tweety and Coward Fineman are taking out their frustrations on POTUS.

        October 6, 2011 at 5:59 pm

Tweety is an emotional junkie. He wants to see loud and obnoxious Obama behaviour. He wants chest thumping, facial scowling, eyes penetrating Obama. But President Obama isn’t like that, and Tweety just can’t handle that kind of behavior. Tweety wishes Obama was more like Chris Christie.

        • 32 COS
          October 6, 2011 at 6:25 pm

They can not handle the ‘Zen’ of Barack Obama……because Barack Obama is a far superior and more evolved human being then the ‘spitter’ and ‘coward’ could ever hope to be. Barack leaves them in the dust.

          October 6, 2011 at 6:33 pm

Even if President Obama were to get angry and start yelling, I get the feeling that Tweety would bitch about President Obama being “the angry black man” and alienating voters, demanding that he quit bullying the Republicans.

I begin to wonder if Tweety isn’t some distant relative of Mitt Romney, they share the same traits of taking both sides of the issues and changing their views every day the sun rises and sets.

I quit watching Tweety two years ago when he would have his golfing buddy and convicted felon Tom Delay on to joke and bullshit around. I consider Tweety the TV version of Mitt Romney, he flip flops every freaking day. One day he’ll have a tingle up his leg for President Obama, the next day he’s calling President Obama a failure.

I’m guessing Tweety is upset his dream candidates Chris Christie and Sarah Palin aren’t running, and he’s taking out his frustrations on POTUS. Tweety needs to take a hike!

The problem is that neither Alex Wagner nor Rev Al…..gave it back to him…. Paul Ryan’s budget also uses the draw down in Iraq as savings.

They don’t have all the facts either.

      • 51 nintendowii10
        October 6, 2011 at 6:24 pm

Actually Alex Wagner pointed out that the Republicans ran away from the grand bargain that President Obama proposed in the debt ceiling debate re: entitlements, and Rev Al pointed out Rick Lazio’s slip-up where he said that President Obama has been in office for five years.

Rick Lazio all on his own made himself look foolish.

Ms. Dorothy Cooper ,96yrs. of age of TN said that she has voted for seventy years and never thought this would happen to her. Remember, this lovely lady grew up during the Jim Crow days. Now in the 21st century, she has to witness this. Not right.

Remember also these thirty-six states who have laws to try to destroy our votes in the AA communities, the young people 18-29 years of age, and seniors. We must fight this. Thanks to all who worked in OH.

Those of us who love the Judicial System, let us pull together and continue to stay in contact with our Senators, Reps., the DOJ, and the Judicial Committee to help us fight this. The NAACP is also doing great work with this.

Rev. Al stated it so beautifully,(speaking to Ms. Dorothy Cooper) “Your generation changed it for us, at least we can fight to maintain it.” Rev. Al Sharpton 10/06/11

Rev. Fred Shuttlesworth gave us the rules and booths on the ground for the fight, and Steve Jobs gave the young and old the techonology to fight with our iPads, iPhones, and computers to fight with our brains and intellect. They both left us on Oct. 5, 2011, so let us make them proud of us in 2012 and thereafter. We have work to do for Rev. Shuttlesworth, Mr. Jobs, and Ms. Dorothy Cooper. Let us Press On.HZ

Ms. Cooper has given us thus far……….96 years of life

Rev. Fred Shuttlesworkth gave us……….89 years of life

Mr. Steve Jobs gave us………………..56 years of life.

Total of three very impressive lives: 241 years. THINK ABOUT THIS NUMBER and our Country. What are we going to leave for those smiling faces of those little faces smiling at our President just this week.HZ

I am so grateful for Gabby’s recovery. Our good thoughts, faithful prayers, and positive meditations on behalf of Mark and Gabby is a wonderful gift to behold. May they enjoy much happiness together.HZ
