“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The trouble-makers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify them. But the one thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.” – Apple

This picture is cool; but the colored version with the philosophy of Apple beneath the picture was way way way cooler. That could have been a Times Square Billboard Ad in the making.

Oh, there’s my President and there’s my bridge. What a fantastic gorgeous photo and quotation from Apple. (I’m wondering if it was from the last time I saw him here because in his speech and he mentioned landing in his helicopter at this field and feeling that SF is one of the most beautiful cities.) This photo is really symbolic of how I feel about this man and these times. THANK YOU.

I tried to post a comment but it wouldn’t take it. I guess I don’t know how to do it or something..anyway this is what I would have left..

“Hi Jakee, thank you so much for this creative post that honors Steve Jobs and President Obama..it’s awesome!

I love it that you appreciate our President like more than a few of us do. Looking forward to your piece on how “technology surrounds” our President.

      Beautiful!”

Thanks for the heads up on Jakee’s bulletblog, Carla! I linked it to another site I frequent, Democrats For Progress where they were discussing how Steve Jobs affected their lives.

Spot on – this guy hits the nail on the head. Everyone looks at President Obama as he asks people to work together, and everyone looks back at him and says “no, you do it! But, we love you…”. Well, like President Obama said a couple of weeks ago, “if you love me, then help me pass this bill”. He should have added, “help me pass the bill – for you!”.

You are sooo handsome. Do you workout?”    Aint that the truth. Some people just want to yell at him and not do any serious work in rebuilding the economy. Thanks Tulips.

Love this photo. That iPad has to mean so much to POB because he hold within his hand the future for the young people and older alike who want to move toward the future of the likes of Steve Jobs.

Holding that gift from Steve Jobs as well as holding onto his last conversation(we do not know when he had his last one with Steve Jobs he and Steve Jobs had before Steve left this earth ) we can count on POB to carry this ‘goodness into the future’ as faithfully as he can. We lift you up, Mr. President.

You are presiding over a troubled people and troubled economy today, but WE will be your “Bridge over these Toubled Waters.”. “Mr. President, don’t be down and out, because we have your back, and we know you have ours.”

You keep us going. Because of some smart, innovative mind, that bridge that you are looking over towards took courage, fortitude, and vision. Now look how many people from all over the world travel over that bridge. Mr. President, we here at TOD want to build more bridges like that and even better for generations to come with the techonology that you hold in your hands

This shows just how dangerous these people are. No mention that Russia is thoroughly against any increase of the missile defense plan, and China and Russia would easily gang together with Iran, launching a third World War. They have brainwashed themselves into believing this “American Exceptionalism” nonsense, and dismissed any notion of power among the other 6.7 billion people on this planet. And they don’t care that most people in this country don’t want another war, either.

this fool is an effing embarrassment.I mean what are you gonna do Herm throw pizza dough at Ahmadinejad when he tells you:Bite me!

Herman Cain: I’d Upgrade Missile Defense And Tell Ahmadinejad To ‘Make My Day’

Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain told the Values Voter Summit on Friday that as president he’d upgrade the nation’s missile defense system and then tell Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to “make my day.”
    http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/updates/1008

    • October 7, 2011 at 5:35 pm

I imagine he got a standing ovation for that- those ‘value voters’ are very creepy..and its one big pandering exercise to the extreme. Cain won’t win, there is no way these folks are gonna give him a job.. but they’ll use him for as long as possible to push their whacked message.
And he seems so willing to take the extreme all the way over the edge. I will never ever understand the right. Never.

He’s too much of a coward. He would not stand up for civil rights and would not go to war when his country needed him. He wants to claim he’s the only one with math abilities to work for the Navy but not JOIN the Navy!

Actually guys, Mitt Romney is infinitely more dangerous than Herman Cain could ever be…

Romney has just assembled all of George W. Bush’s “foreign policy experts” who are pushing the very same invade Iran sentiment…

Let’s focus on and expose Mitt Romney…

Herman Cain might be a convenient clown and offer great comic relief, but he’s going nowhere quickly in the Republican party…

He is simply a contrived invention of the GOP to assuage any accusations of racism in their ranks…

Let’s stay focused on the real enemies and threats to America…

Karl Rove, the Koch brothers and their newest puppet Mitt Romney…

        October 7, 2011 at 9:31 pm

I am absolutely astonished that Mitt Romney is going down the ‘Bush path’ on foreign policy. I don’t even know why he would; none of them will beat this President on foreign policy/tough on terror, so it is even more concerning that he must think these are the right ‘experts’ not a political campaign move….

I want to share these quotes of Steve Jobs.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.”

“Don’t be trapped by dogma- which is living with the results of other people’s thinking.
Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your won inner voices.”

    “Be a yardstick of quality.
Some people aren’t used to an environmment where excellence is expected.”

“Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition- they somehow already know what you truly want to become.”

Quotes from our great friend who left us physically this week, but whose spirit and work we must carry on. Wake up young giants of the likes of Steve Jobs and Rev. Shuttlesworth. Your world is waiting for you.HZ
