What I love about this clip is that you hear FLOTUS’s Chicago accent, from :07-:10 sec. It sounds like a refined version of the Boston and New York accent. The letters are refined and enunciated. She sounds just like Malia. It’s so odd, but so Chicago.
You know, how can these two people be as cool as they are? It just defies logic. Their attitude, their ideas, their approach to everything. Maybe it’s just because so many of our public figures are complete narcissistic jerks these days, but every day they both astound me with their ability to be so completely tuned in to our country, so full of the right answers, and so completely normal all at the same time.
Indeed, GYM, the Obamas and Bidens have raised the presidential bar really high, and it feels great to be participants living under such high calibre governance. Look at the level of involvement ((ex. 1 million donors) they continue to pull from a formerly apathetic populace. I am so anticipating a landslide victory in 2012.

Real leadership in the terms that one goes about the business of the country, accomplishes historic legislative accomplishments, takes on the task of rearing a healthy and fit nation, takes on the task of reminding the nation of our duty to the military and never toots their own horn even while he or she is getting disingenuously blasted from left and right. If your numbers are right, Hope, then it’s par for the course. This breakdown on blame for the economy has remained relatively unchanged.
Okay I see where they got the 53% from. Apparently, the Twitter post was incomplete. According to Gallup, 24% blame the President “a great deal” and 29 % blame him “moderately” which makes it 53 % who blame him a great deal or moderate amount.
36% Blame Bush “a great deal” while 33% blame him “a moderate amount.” making it 69% with the two combined.
These figures are assessing each individual separately, so it’s possible that the same person can blame both Presidents the same way.

The list of accomplishments in this article is terrific, but I disagree with the statement that the president is unpopular. I would also like to ask Sullivan what is wrong with working hard and getting the job done. Would he rather PBO spend his time touting his horn or accomplishing things for the American people.
