I’m I Secondish? I’ll settle for thirdish or fourthish….

Hey, hopefruit, for me here in San Diego, I am always the “lastish”! I always comment at the time when most people on the EST are asleep. However, I just wanted you to know that of all the commentators at TOD, your insights, as far as I am concerned, are the “firstish.” I especially benefited from your exposes of OWS. You’ve totally been vindicated!
You lot crack me up!!!
But I thought CNN said nobody’s excited for this President?
The pics of the people crying make me reminiscent of 2008. Beautiful.
Tea-NN and the rest of the media will NEVER be able show pictures like these for any of their “prize” candidates. AND THEY KNOW IT, that’s why they comfort themselves by spreading lies about our President.
He is so loved!
Well fuck CNN they are the least trusted news ever, they should should be talking about
THE VAULCHERS THAT KILL JOBS . FOR ALL OF US, So Mitt is a Vaulcher that took
advantage of the hard working people.
Well one of my character defects has really come in handy this election year, I knew I was keeping it handy for a reason, LOL. During the heated 2008 Democratic primaries, CNN had me livid. I felt they routinely dismissed then Senator Obama and gushed about the Clinton machine, it was appalling. Every since then, I’ve dimissed CNN as sensationalistic drivel. Although, I wholeheartedly supported Obama, I wanted CNN to fair and tempered, to acutally delve into policy. Journalistic integrity is hard to come by these days. I truly miss the distinguished Mr. Peter Jennings.
and Ed Bradley!!! Oh how I wish Ed Bradley was alive for his insistence on NOT TAKING SHIT for answers. I LOVED THAT MAN when he was on a story. You know you would get the good, the bad and the ugly. Loved him!!!!
How about the facial expressions on people’s faces greeting and looking and listening to our Beloved President. I only see these excited expressions on the Obama appearances, and only Obama appearances. The People are energized to see our Beloved. I even get energized just looking at the pictures here.:-) PBO brings energy, exhibits energy, and gives off energy. He IS energy :-) :-)
Chips, thank you so very much for the pretty pictures, and videos. I appreciate you, more than you can Imagine, thank you :-)
Appreciate you Luci!
But,But CNN think we do do count so CNN (F) U you are not the most trusted News
you are a tabloid media.
At least for a minute or two!
There’s President Obama not connecting again.
Our media pundits who insist on that false charge look really silly in light of all the evidence to the contrary, including these photos again tonight. In fact, it happens everywhere he appears. I wonder how they have the nerve to even utter that misleading garbage.
Yup, wonder how much they had to pay people to hug him and cry? ;-) I don’t know how anyone states that he ‘doesn’t connect’ with a straight face….
Oh, we all know liars like them, don’t we? In fact, some lie so much they have to lie to keep the first lie from being discovered. Eventually, they’re all coiled up in their own deception. Splendidly :-D
Lies beget lies! ;)
YES.WE.CAN…DO.(Much)More, Together – WE MUST!
YES.WE.CAN, Again…Obama/Biden 2012!
WE CAN’T WAIT/WE CAN’T GO BACK…PRESS ON!
Well, those professional dryers don’t come cheap…..
Ha Ha, predictive text: it should read professional CRYERS!
lol Pamela your typos always crack me up. was it you that said you pulled an “uncle?” love it
 Almost afraid to ask …. what did Pamela mean by pulling an ‘uncle’?
lol she meant to say muscle :D
Ha ha ha on me! It is the iPad which has predictive text, and unless you are VERY fast, or at least a little slower to post comment, you don’t see a word until it is up on thread… By then, too late, any it is a very sheepish feeling, I tell you! Confusion resolved, I hope! ;) :)
Okay Pamela, I believe you. Muscle …. uncle. Okay.
I am, truly, quite an intelligent woman, and enjoy a good laugh at myself! Plus, you guys don’t know this yet, but whenever I am at home, reading here on TOD, I always have my 14 pound Maine Coon kitty on my lap, so at times I make a little mistake, but oh well! I like it when I burst out laughing at what others here write! This is the humor which will see us through to November 6!
ROFL, now that’s funny, Lol :-)
Oh NO! That poor kitty, uh uh, my girl don’t look nuthin’ like THAT! :(
Oh, and Chips? That little dude is not my uncle, he is my NEPHEW!
Your cat is your nephew?
No no no, silly, my cat is my Guardian Angel!
Holy smokes! That is one weird picture. Cracks me up.
Hee! No apologies needed here! If only I could stop laughing long enough to eat dinner! ((((((((:))))))))
Awww right. All you hen to the naughty mats. I’m back from the eye Doc and can finally see. A few of my friends are in the pics above.
Busy, busy day. Soooo can someone explain Willards “creative destruction” to me. Heard it on the radio.
Welcome home Mr. President. Welcome home.
The up side of that lie is for people who know the truth, it just further reinforces the fact that our media can no longer be trusted and should thus be ignored.
Yup…the crowds that are waiting for President Obama to pass by or are onsite listening to him speak can’t compete with the “massive crowds “crammed into a local diner or the 250 + that Jon Huntsman draws at a house party… LOL! LOL! LOL! LOL! Where’s my inhaler?!!
LOL……here, take mine :-D Too funny !
*clutches fake pearls & faints* ROFL
These photos are so inspiring and make me hopeful after seeing and hearing media lies about the lack of enthusiasm. It is the kind of thing I saw in the campaign, huge crowds with the media saying BUT when people went to the polls they would not vote for him and called it the ? effect. The name Bradley comes to me but not sure if that was the name they used. Then when the election did happen we won!!!!!! :) I don’t want to take it for granted and know we need to work hard to inform people truths and figure out how to stop the suppression of voters.
Obama Grandma – yes, they do refer to it as the Bradley Effect. The MSM (Mainstream Media) are a loathsome pitiful crowd. I remember them discussing the Bradley Effect at length. They actually brainstormed ways that Obama’s momentum will be derailed, they mocked Obama, the consumate strategist, and his phenomenal team instead of drilling down to the nuances of policy. It was terrible.
A classic: Ed Schultz reading “Goodnight Mitt”, a bedtime story.
Yes, it was. I heard them tease this today on his radio program. I was looking forward to it. Have to give kudos where they are due and this was GOOD!
Oh that goodnight story by Ed was hilarious. Also, Ed has added two vultures at the top of the chart he uses to show wealth disparity. I LOL when he was reading that story. I was very pleased on Richard Wolfe’s defense of FLOTUS as opposed to Alter. He disappointed me. What’s his problem?
Me too, I wanted to reach out and slap Alter’s balding head. Wonder what what he inhaled before coming on the show. Richard Wolfe was superb in his defense of Flotus.
Asher, i felt the same way, Alter really made me mad. Then he said it was a good book.
Me three. Alter is usually decent with his comments, but tonight he was a little off. However, I am so glad that Richard Wolffe made the beautiful and decent and respectful remarks about FLOTUS. Wolffe is very decent with his remarks, and he does not worry about whether the host is going to invite him back.
I like Richard Wolffe very much, and I do hope that he will get great opportunities to interview and write more great books about the President and FLOTUS when they leave in 2017.HZ
Why do people bring their hands together automatically when they are rapt? I’ve seen this at other Obama events…
It is a form of giving thanks, in prayer. It closes the energy stream between the hands, allowing the heart center to fill to overflowing!
Thank you hopefruit for the Rapt photos. Love seeing the young ones reactions to the President. And thank you Pamela for the explanation about the heart center. I had not thought of it like that before but I guess that is how it works when you stop to think about it.
Is that Janet Jackson behind Janelle Monae?
That’s not Janet, though I’m sure the lady would be flattered :-D
She looks familiar, do we know if she is famous?
I think she’s just a pretty young lady from Chicago ! I like what you said about the closing of the hands. I never thought of it that way. Very insightful you are !!
I was noticing the lady in the fuschia colored dress really standing out in a crowd of dark colors. It reminds me of the movie with the baseball player (was it Robt Redford?) that hit the ball out of the stadium and the ball flew through the air in slow motion breaking the stadium lights. Earlier in the afternoon a woman (was it Glen Close?) was dressed in white with a white hat awash in backlight in the stadium. The people near her were all dressed in neutral or dark colors so she stood out. As I am an artist so I notice these things. The darkest color next to the lightest or brightest color draws our attention. Anyhow, I noticed this effect as evident in that photo. Pete Souza is really good at finding these effects to use in his photos.
It would take an astute artist to acknowledge Souza’s artistry…….excellent observation
Wonderful observation OG. You’re so right about that picture recollecting that terrific scene in The Natural. Pete Souza as quite the maestro and you have a great eye.
Don’t you love the expression on Janelle Monae’s face? Pretty much says it all.
This photo cracks me up – OWS protestors SO angry with the President ….. they started taking photos of him:
I hate you, but can I get your picture please?
Stealing the pic and the L3 comment.
Be my guest amk, be my guest.
How republican of them
See Chips. Even they cannot resist the charms and magnetism of That One. Also, they’re just full of ish.
And imagine if they had been smarter, they could have been INSIDE with him, instead of cordoned off hoping to get a great photo from that distance!
GEEZE. That is too funny. Reminds me of that RW twit Rep. Jean Schmidt who hates on POTUS day in and day but then is the first in line for his autograph at the SOTUs.
Ha, great comparison!!!!
I think she was getting an autograph for Michelle Bachman too.
Reminds me after the House retreat where the president schooled the Republicans, they all came up to him to take pictures and get an autograph. Even that nasty woman from some district in NC tweeted that she got the president’s autograph. (forgot her name, but she was an older, bat-ish crazy tea party type.)
Virginia Foxx. CrazyTown.
Ewwww. Had almost forgotten her. Isn’t she gone yet?
That woman’s picture should appear in the dictionary next to “crazy”. What the people who elected her were thinking, I will never know.
I can remember GOP crowding around the President too. Maybe when he spoke to congress or after he spoke at the GOP retreat where they televised it. Can’t remember the occasion but they wanted to shake hands and were taking pictures, too, and he was gracious as always.
They would do anything to get his individual attention – and I’m sure that is true of some of his most avid “haters” like GG.
That picture is hilarious. I’m shocked I tell ya 8O
Wow, really gorgeous photos.
Buffet slams Mittens vulture capitalism, Gingrich being disingenuous-
Powerful, because nobody is more pro free market than WB!
Awww!!!! thank you so much Chips….for all the beautiful picture…But the one of the lady crying did it for me…I started sobbing..just as I did inauguration day….Just Awesome :-)
For me, too, kasai… I was all undone or a few minutes, it was just great tho, I don’t mind a bit sharing in when others are so beautiful overwhelmed!
I wish I was there :-) Pamela…I would probably faint if I had the opportunity to just touch his hands…
I really have no idea how I would handle it, it would so energize me… I get all fired up just looking at pictures!
First time I shook his hand, I actually shocked myself. I held it together for a few seconds, (The crowd “surges” in the direction that he is moving on the “Rope” line) Then. I screamed like a school girl. (And, let’s just say, it’s been awhile since I was in high school…)
I’ve shaken my President’s hand 7 times. 3 as a candidate, once as pres-elect, and now 3 as POTUS. The last time, I had my son with me. I am so ridiculously glad that he had the opportunity to meet his President.
I love this story… Touching YOUR hand, isonprize, will be enough for me!
Awww, Pamela, thank you. My friends call me the “Obama mama”. I just figure, I’m already volunteering for the campaign, I might as well get the most out of it!! If my schedule allows it, I always, always, always (did I say always? I meant “always”), volunteer when the President comes to town. Fortunately, he likes Pennsylvania. I just make sure that I’m somewhere in that number!!!
The thing is with President Obama is that he rarely has a chance to initiate a hug. As soon as he leaves the podium, he is hugged and loved like long-lost family. Whether it’s Chicago or Moneygall, the visceral connection that people of every age group and flavor have with President Obama is genuine, soulful, healing and deep.
HE IS CHARMING WITH A “FABULOUS HIGH-VOLTAGE SMILE”
I just love the way Julia Gillard described President Obama. it was pitch perfect. That’s our guy.
Gillard, who had previously met Obama in Washington and on the sidelines of various international forums, described him as charming, with a “fabulous, high-voltage smile.”
“The private person is very like the public person — very calm, very measured person, very intelligent, casual in a way,” she said.
Ooh ooh Chipsticks, this would be a good spot for the Land Down Unda video, and as I am LOL’s unofficial Aussie ambassador, she might put in a word here!
I love you!
Chica, Do you know anything about the wall with the tiny red flowers(?) that is shown from 1:35 – 1:43? I’ve seen that picture before and wondered about it.
Hiya isonprize, that’s the Australian War Memorial in Canberra, dedicated to all those they lost in war:
Yes, isonprize, I am not Chica, but I can tell you about it. On November 11th, which we call Veterans Day, in Oz they use the term Remembrance Day. Many people in the armed forces dress in full uniform, present in the streets and open places, carrying trays of poppies for sale. Some poppies are made of red paper, some are like a small lapel pin, and so on, even silver and gold plated. These are bought to be worn at the public memorial they hold on this day each year. At 11:11 am, almost everyone stops for a full minute of silence, offering prayers and their thanks to those who died serving their country. Well, PBO was in Canberra, the capital, a few days after this special day; this is a memorial wall for the fallen, where thousands have placed the paper poppies they wore on Remembrance Day, onto this wall. It is very powerful, and very somber all at the same time!
Pamela. Wow. Thank you. I learn something every day. I can imagine that must be a moving tribute. How wonderful that the country comes together to honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. Do you know why they uses red poppies? Is that flower native to Australia? (Sorry I’m such a geek, but local traditions like this fascinate me plus, I’m just really newsy  )
The link Chips added is terrific for all the history on the topic one could wish for (she is always so on it!) I just went in there and had a wonderful read, adding to my own learning! I lived in Australia for more than 8 years, and my only child lives there now. I was there during Remembrance Day in 2011, left only a coupe days before PBO arrived, but I was in Sydney not Canberra! Am proud to say a number of Obama 2012 buttons and pins were being worn there by the time I came home!
Ah wow Pamela, I knew you had an Australia connection, but I didn’t realize it was that strong – you probably told me before, but my memory is sieve-like
Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!
Oh, no you don’t, your memory is AWESOME! YOU are awesome, keeping everything here humming, handling typos and naughty mat sessions, keeping us Fired Up! You are loved too! Just like PBO, FLOTUS, VPOTUS, and of course, FDOTUS!

I like the little girl poster.
YES! She is right on, so excited and happy to see her President roll by
This is beautiful. No.Other.Words.
Love that sign! Kudos to the creator/sign holder!
Wish I knew how to send these photos to Tweety. This would close his mouth for a few months. Did anyone see how he was almost on his knees on his show today begging for someone in “higher places” to hear him today begging for an interview with our beautiful First Lady? It was something to behold.
We got you on tape, Tweet.HZ

SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea indicated on Wednesday that it was open to further negotiations with the United States, which it said demanded a halt of its uranium-enrichment program in return for food aid before the death of Kim Jong-il last month.
But but but Robney said…
“Obama for the World” is the best sign I’ve seen all decade. I perish the thought of not seeing him lead this country in 2016. :`(
And in 2020, and in 2024, oh wait….
I loved that sign, too. And I’m thinking it definitely is what “the world” is hoping for, right along with us!
Can anyone make out the words at the bottom, looks like “or at least our —–“… (something)
He will be with us doing great things long after his 2nd term.
The White House will never ever be the same after 2016…but what we do know ..is.. that in order to keep a Democrat..PBO needs to be re-elected, who knows we may even make history by electing first woman president…and PBO would have the honor to welcome her:-)
That’s my Hope:-)
The world would never be the same, kasai, would it, if the first AA POTUS signed off to the first woman POTUS? Glory days will be ours.
A woman president, that sounds surreal – but who do you think? Anyone besides Clinton? Kathleen Sebelius? Elizabeth Warren?
I think Elizabeth Warren. If she can sit in the Senate for a while, she will be ready to make a run for it in 2016. She is so smart, and made of steel, not flustered by anything. I loved her at the congressional hearings, she is fearless. After this campaign there will be nothing left of the Grand Old Party of Extortion Politics. America will not tolerate another collapse of its integrity from being top heavy, so I feel PBO and VPB will have a heck of a work load cleaning things up, but they will do it, and the Democratic party will carry on the good work. Don’t forget the young do not stay young, they grow up and they vote! At least, we will see to it that they understand how important a contribution voting is to a healthy society!
That fourth pic of PBO, the close-up, caught me for a moment in that, after looking at how the attendees were, yes hopefruit…rapt…., his eyes are so deep, as though he can look right into your soul and read you, almost effortlessly. He has such a native high intelligence and curiosity. The eyes have always been the draw for me in relating to people……they are indeed the windows to ourselves.
Prose, EDP4PBO, are you a poet in our midst? Beautifully spoken…..
Aw shucks (blushing). Not a poet. Sometime I can write a few lines. But it was just that moment, that pause I experienced looking in his eyes. It was transcendental, at best. He’s got something, I tell ya. Very few people can transform a room the way he can. Of course, I am preaching to the choir here, I know. We are all just gaga over PBO, but atleast it’s an informed gaga ! Saying good nite to all TOD. Pleasant dreams, and let’s remember to pray for dreamflower’s husband to obtain employment. Peace.
I forgot to tell everyone the REALLY exciting news – we had our first ever Romney troll last night!
Seriously, I’ve had trolls for everyone from Gaddafi to Daffy Duck, but no one ever bothered visiting to try to tell us Mr Bain was fabulous.
Until last night.
Can that be classed as a Romney surge?
Gaddafi to Daffy Duck
I wonder how much the troll was paid by Willard Robme-and-you.
I’m guessing the troll is now without work – you know how much Willard likes firing people.
Good one Chips! ;)
No. They probably have been mesmerized by our loving attention to PBO and wish their man had the talent, grace, charm, looks, brains, accomplishments, etc., etc. Fabulous……HA! In their dreams.
Was its name veritas/reality check by any chance ? It’s a much mocked BJ troll.
there was a troll for Daffy? that sounds sort of awesome
But I suspect Romney trolls will be popping up as we get closer to the election.
I told the Daffy troll to quack off. Was that rude? :???:
Yes, but it was spot on!
Thanks Pamela, I owe you some Daffydils:
HAHAHAHAh @ Quack Off…lol Chips you’re hilarious…that’s why we love ya!!!
Thanky, Ms. Chips, I humbly accept the lovely fleurs! :) :) :)
LOL! Robney surge.
By the way Chips, whatever became of our friend “Lurker” who sang Jodi Kantor’s praises? Did she respond to your last question? :)
I had a run-in with him/her at BJ. :)
LOL – oh dear!! Seems like Lurker is on book tour…with her boss Kantor!
Chips, I like your style. Your are a class act. I just love the meticulous way you manage this blog. What you are doing behind the scenes is remarkable. We are all enriched by your dedication and hard work. You are loved my dear.
I lovingly Amen to your comments Ladyhawke!!!!! What a gift we have in our Chips. HZ
Poor f’er! Guess he won’t be trying that around here again, after Chips nailed him!
Get the Heck outta here! Seriously??? Fool.
It was probably one of Mitt’s sons.

you know he got some good looking men in his loop.
he really does
It is so readily apparent that PBO’s team truly respects his intellect and presence. Also, the photos tell such a nuanced story. PBO listens…he trusts his team.
Wow – I knew Jacob when he went to high school in Rockville, MD with my daughter. He’s all of 27 or so now and super smart!! So glad he’s on President Obama’s A team!
He looks so young, very cool he went to school with your daughter… These youngsters will take hold of the future, with a leader as strong and clear as PBO, we will see the change we believe in! I am certain of it!
The Obama administration will resume peace talks with the Taliban as soon as Afghan President Hamid Karzai formally blesses the negotiations, according to senior administration officials who indicated the process could be under way within weeks.
Marc Grossman, the senior U.S. diplomat who shepherded a series of secret U.S. meetings with the insurgents last year, will meet with Karzai late next week to ensure that the Afghan president is on board, officials said.
“If Karzai were to tell [the administration] to go ahead, then we’d start talking again,” said one of two officials who discussed the secret negotiations on condition of anonymity.
But but but…
With an election season underway, President Obama plans to visit federal agencies in the coming weeks to thank rank-and-file federal employees for their service, appearances that should contrast with Republican campaign attacks on his record and the size of the federal government.
Did anyone catch Ed Show where he and a panel were talking about Michelle Obama interview with Gayle King? The one member of the panel who kind of piss me off was that Jonathan guy, he had written a book about the Obama administration. I can’t think of his last name, be he said that book by Jodi Kantor was a good book, and he don’t know why the First Lady had to speak out about this. It was just bringing attention to the book. so he was saying she should just had keep her mouth closed. I wanted to slap that fool.
Are you talking about Jonathan Alter??
I can’t watch the Ed Show – he bloviates too much, but it’s interesting to hear that he had a panel about the interview.
I wonder how Jodi Kantor would like it if someone wrote a book about her, and made all kinds of assumptions to her motives, beliefs, or thoughts. That woman really gets my goat. I hope her book fails miserably and ends up on the $1 book bin!!!!
And then to hear what she was doing trying to talk on facebook with McCain’s daughter??? I don’t like McCain, but I abhore people who try to take advantage of kids of politicians!!
She’s an opportunistic snake who doesn’t even deserve to be acknowledged in future by the Obama Administration. I hope they lose her invitation to the press Christmas Party next year.
I agree with you pinkbunny. I wonder what Alter has to say about Kantor trying to talk to McCain’s 16 year old daughter and her friends trying to get info on Cindy Mccain.
Jothan Alter is the fool’s name I was talking about. He praised the Kantor book. Joy Ann Reid and Richard Wolffe were the others talking.
It annoys me b/c she didn’t ASK to speak about this. Gayle stated this morning that the interview /w FLOTUS was already scheduled before this Kantor nonsense started. It was Gayle who decided to ASK HER about the book! I swear the media is lazy and they never do their own research. They take things at face-value and don’t dig to find the truth. I weep for journalism.
This reminds me that Jonathan Alter had an article on Washington Monthly awhile back titled “Could HIllary Be The Next Vice President?” I can’t find that source but here’s another link to it. I commented on it and asked why he would even be speculating about that because VP Biden was doing an excellent job. It kinda surprised me that this dribble was coming from him because I thought he was one of the common sense media writers/pundits. Now, I’m really pissed at his ignorance..willful or not.
Hope he gets Tweet inundated.
collegekay, you are so right.
Collegekay, you are so on point with your comments.HZ
It is utterly astounding that people think they should say mean spirited things and be insulated from the consequences. The First Couple are not cowards, they confront problems head. I was deeply disappointed that the Mrs.-O.org site is supporting that trash. You cannot be double-minded on such things, you either hold FLOTUS in high esteem or you don’t. FLOTUS actually sent the website owner of Mrs.O.a handwritten note. This is how you repay FLOTUS by supporting a malicious hack job of FLOTUS?! Then of course it adds insult to injury that the Mrs.O’ site plays innocent. I will be sending her a note soon, the site will be deleted from my Favorites. I am tired.
Hey College Kay, How are you feeling? Better, I hope!!!
Mr. Alter made a simple point. Wasn’t annoying to me at all. His point: decline to comment on this trash book and don’t give it anymore oxygen. And before people start bashing him, he is always defending Obama and Dems in general.
I disagree Left-Indie. This wasn’t simply just another trash book to be ignored. The media was certainly NOT ignoring it. This author, in an attempt to sell her book, resorted to frequently used racist stereotype, something that the RW and Mainstream media have repeatedly tried to push on our First Lady. It’s kinda like the birth certificate issue that just wasn’t going away even as POTUS tried to ignore until he basically had no choice but to address it head-on and nip it in the bud. This racial harassment that the First Couple receives from the media – from the snide remarks about the cost of their vacations, to insinuations about their “arrogance” , to constant dogwhistles about the POTUS being “unAmerican” doesn’t need the first couple to give it “oxygen” because it has a life of it’s own in the form of racist attitudes in this country.
The onus to end it should be on the persons who reinforce and maintain the stereotypes, not those who are the target of it.
Left-Indie, Mr Alter said it was a good book. Did I hear wrong? Because that is what he said. And all Michelle did was answer the question asked of her by Gayle. First of all Michelle didn’t go out seeking to respond to that book, Gayle King said the interview was schedule before that book was released. So Alter is another one of those journalists who need to get the facts, before running his mouth. I bash Alter and don’t regret doing so, it wasn’t Michelle giving it oxygen, it was Jodi Kantor and the media. It is a hack job by that two bit author. And if Michelle had something to say, can you blame her, with all the B.S. she and her husband has had to deal with all the time.
Three years of this mean spirited, hateful, disrespectful, racist nonsense is enough…when one has walked in FLOTUS’ shoes for 48 years, then one can understand why she finally had to say something…afterall she is human…as an AA I truly understand/imagine how she must feel. If Mr. Alter knew anything about being BLACK IN AMERICA, he would have read FLOTUS’s body language, facial expression, the tone in her voice and the words she said, ” I KNOW SOME PEOPLE DON’T LIKE ME, BUT THAT IS OKAY BECAUSE I AM THEIR FIRST LADY TOO”- “…THAT IS MY HUSBAND”…he would never had said “she is playing the victim”…I guarantee you, every sista girl knew exactually what FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA was saying “in-between” the words…Gayle knew what she was saying…she said those words with her hands on her hips, head/neck and eyes rollin’ and a finger snap at the end (without the actual motions)…every sista girl heard her to say, “I’m tired now…I have had enough of this sh*t…you don’t know me…you better ask somebody…I am from the southside of CHICAGO…” Mr. Alter, trust me, she is not playing the victim…”you better ask somebody”…
Yes a lot better but not 100%. Thank you for your concern :)
‘…the media is lazy and they never do their own research. ……….. I weep for journalism.’
This is how I feel when I hear the press corps regularly asking Jay all those dumb questions. Very often the answers they seek can be found if they’d only do some research.
That was Jonathan Alter. I totally agree with you anniebella. Joy Reid and Richard Wolfe were making sense. Jonathan was really annoying. As Joy Reid said since 2007 the right wing have been criticizing and ridiculing every move FLOTUS makes. I didn’t like Ed Schultz’s description of FLOTUS calling out critics. She just made a couple of good obvious points about what it means to be in the spotlight. Johnathan Alter made it seem like she should not have responded to the questions about the book.
If she didn’t respond or acknowledge the question, they would have criticized her for not answering and heading it off!!!
It’s always been that way for this wonderful First Couple, ever since they came into the White House they have been criticized non-stop for anything that is normally done by any other “white” Presidential Family.
I was proud of FLOTUS this morning, part two of the interview with Gayle King is tomorrow.
It seems like that because we were not on the receiving end, but as I thought about it, I remember many times standing in the grocery line reading the headlines in the Enquirer that Laura Bush had left W and moved into the Whitewater Hotel—-W was drinking again—-there were many stories like that, they had W back on the sauce and Laura moving out about every other week. And there were other not so flattering descriptions of her—-that all she really liked to do was read and smoke—-maybe because she admitted that once. And the fatal car accident. And the girls wild party nights. There were stories, we just didn’t care as much, if at all.
We really gotta rise above “because they are black” thing. Pinkbunny says “they have been criticized non-stop for anything that is normally done by any other “white” Presidential Family.” All we have to do is look at footage from the Clinton years. My answer to you is yes to would, and have, threated other like that. They just have to be dems to qualify. When are we going to understand that rethugs will do this to ANY dem president and his wife? Strategy has been to delegitimize ANY dem from the day they win the Whitehouse, period. You might be a person of color, like I’m, and be particularly sensetive, but you gotta look at the big picture. It isn’t just about Obama or his color. It’s about a dem in the Whitehouse. Period. Winning the progressive agenda shouldn’t be about Obama’s win only, either (although that is a huge part of it). It’s about fighting this rethug machine hard and putting into power as many Dems coast to coast as we can. We’ve seen what happens when we have Obama, but a rethug house. God forbid they take the senate, too.
I think the difference is that “credible” news media did not give such sensational stories any real newsprint or airtime when it came to gossip about the White House occupants of old. With the Obamas, even our most ‘trusted’ journalists will either spread the lies with outrageous headlines or fail to denounce outright lies and absurdities. :(
I think journalists stick up for each other. I have not heard one journalists say anything negative about Kantor’s book.
I don’t know about anyone else, but no First Lady have had to deal with the B.S. like Michelle Obama. I know Hillary went through alot too.
I’m ashamed to say I had a laugh or two at Hillary’s expense back in the 90’s when jokes circulated about her. By the time she got to the Today Show to complain about “fast right wing conspiracy machine” against her and her husband, she was a hurting woman. They beat her up for breathing fresh air. That machine has only gotten bigger and better with Fox News and thousands of Limbaugh wannabes on AM radio. WHEN Obama wins another 4 years you better believe there’s gonna be a barrage of it, and it ain’t about race. It’s what they do and they’re damn good at it. Answer is to build our machine.
Saying it isn’t about race defies all logic and reason. If you are implying they would attack any Democratic First Lady, that is true. But, it’s clear they have a much greater antipathy for the first black First Lady because of her race. Also, Hillary Clinton put herself out there with Health Care and attempts to influence policy in a far more public and confrontational way than any of the issues Michelle Obama has chosen to pursue. Hillary in many ways was trying to act as a co-president which made her fair game, while Mrs. Obama has chosen a more traditional and non-controversial role.
In what world does that make sense? It was entire book about her and her relationship not some random comment by Rush. The story had legs and was being talked about before she gave the interview.
HOW PRECIOUS…HOME SWEET HOME…CHI-TOWN!!!!!!!
Have you all seen the otters/butterfly video?
When I first saw it I thought, ‘that’s the GOP trying to catch up with PBO in 2012’:
Floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee …. the otters never caught up ;-)
LOL.Purrfect vid analogy.
Plus the otters are cuter, more graceful and faster than those lard arse GOPers
This is MY very, busy, charismatic President!
What is with this nonsense?
South Carolina Bill Forces Unemployed Workers To Volunteer In Order To Receive Unemployment Insurance
By Tanya Somanader on Jan 11, 2012 at 2:20 pm
As the struggling economy forces more Americans to rely on social aid programs, more and more Republicans are ratcheting up the attacks on those in need. When it comes to unemployment insurance, the party’s presidential candidates, governors, and lawmakers are searching out ways to not only gut the program but belittle vulnerable Americans in the process.
In South Carolina, where unemployment is at nearly 10 percent, state Sen. Paul Campbell (R) introduced a bill forcing unemployed workers that can’t find a job in six months to volunteer for 16 hours a week in order to continue getting benefits because “it’s easier for people to get a job if they have a job of some sort”:

This makes me so furious. The underlyingg pervasive assumption is that being rich is a proxy for character. Poor people need to be remediated, something in them is inherently lacking so we must think of ways for them to be responsibile. Words cannot express the utter nonsense of this. I am gong to work really hard for the re-election of PBO but I am not going to waste time with people pouting like children, everything is at stake!
When Mitt Romney Came to Town – devastation followed! http://www.webcasts.com/kingofbain/
What Mitt Romney and Bain Corporation did to the lives of working people was absolutely despicable.
Actor Hill Harper speaks at a fundraiser to help President Barack Obama raise money for his re-election campaign
Harper was great with his “2008 was historic, 2012 is personal!” message.
Another smooth brother with lots and lots of swagga’.
Hill Harper is a dear friend of POB, and when he writes a book, that will be one that I will place in my personal library. Be sure that FLOTUS nor POTUS will ever have to defend themselves in that book. So save your money and wait to purchase those books written on a personal level about FLOTUS or POTUS from those people and writers who have great respect for the written word, honesty in revealing that true written word, and knowing when to share and not share without the permission of the subjects, especially when those words are pertaining to personal information or information that affects a person’s character. And most importantly lying in the same breath claiming that you know the people and what they are thinking inside. That is absurd.
I think that if anyone openly makes a statement that is so far-fetched about FLOTUS or POTUS, for sure FLOTUS and POTUS will be the ones to give the proper answer as did FLOTUS did when asked the question by the interviewer, in this case, Gayle. I think we all know by now that FLOTUS and POTUS will always do that when necessary. I love that about them.
The President speaks up about something that he feels is inappropriate and unfair about FLOTUS when ask in an interview. Remember in the interview with Robbin on GMA? The Republican leader in Tenn. made disparaging remarks about FLOTUS, and Robin asked the question in the interview of FLOTUS ,and POTUS immediately stopped FLOTUS and told Robin that he would answer that. Remember,”Lay off of my wife.” They have each others backs. But the questions in both cases were first asked by the interviewer.
Both FLOTUS and POTUS know when it is appropriate to come in and speak, and when it is not necessary and move on. Otherwise, I am sure we all can concur, they would never get the peoples work done in Washington. So we have in our POTUS and FLOTUS very good people knowing when it is time to shut the critics up.
I can’t wait to read the excellent books that both will write after 2017, about his Presidency and her role as our First Lady. I am sure those will be like none of us will expect. Have you all notice, they never do what everyone else is doing or has done. They are one of a kind President and First Lady, and it is most refreshing. Let them be them as people. That is the refreshing part for me.HZ

Funny polling question on my local newspaper site:
Could Ron Paul ever win Republican nomination for President?
Nearly 82% say NO 9% say Yes and 9% don’t know. This is in AZ folks :)
Hell No! should have been an option.
GTFOH! Millions of illegal *immigrants* come into this country taking jobs that American citizens and legal immigrants DON’T WANT because the pay is low, the hours are long, some of these jobs are dangerous, and most entail backbreaking labor. Many on the other side of the border (Mexico) were drawn here out of desperation because NAFTA and multinational corporations wreaked havoc on the environment causing their farmland to be useless. Oh, and studies have shown that a majority of illegal *immigrants* have been in this country for over tens years, are law-abiding, and are paying taxes for services which they don’t have access to! But feel free to bash them for trying to survive–while you give a pass to the corporations and businesses that hire them because to escape providing benefits and decent wages.
Kobach praised Romney in a press release:
“We need a president who will finally put a stop to a problem that has plagued our country for a generation: millions of illegal aliens coming into the country and taking jobs from United States citizens and legal aliens, while consuming hundreds of billions of dollars in public benefits at taxpayer expense,” said Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach. “Illegal immigration is a nightmare for America’s economy and America’s national security. Mitt Romney is the candidate who will finally secure the borders and put a stop to the magnets, like in-state tuition, that encourage illegal aliens to remain in our country unlawfully.”

s/b hire then because they want to escape….
Kobach is the POS that authored SB 1070 in AZ…it has been attributed to Russell Pearce (who got recalled) but Kobach wrote it and handed his wet dream to Russell. This guy is a creep…and I’m being nice.
I was told that there were more deportations under PBO’s than Bush. PBO is not soft on illegal immigration, however he does respect and honor the rule of law. I think like with most things PBO is strategic. Illegal immigration is a problem, but like all other problems it did not start with PBO. The federal government is the largest employer in this country it takes a lot to get all of that bureaucratic machinery in one direction. It’s amazing to me how Republican officials are always on message deriding the president and his efforts, how do they focus on their freakin’ jobs!?
President Obama respects and honors the rule of law but he also tries to ensure that there are protections for those who may be caught up in this particular law because of racial profiling or human error.
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement has launched a toll-free hotline for individuals detained for being illegal immigrants by state and local law enforcement agencies, the agency announced today. Detainees who “believe they may be US citizens or victims of a crime” may call (855) 448-6903 to talk to ICE personnel who “will collect information from the individual and refer it to the relevant ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Field Office for immediate action,” the agency said in a press release.
The hotline will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with translation services in several languages provided from 7 am until midnight EST, the agency said. The program is designed to curb abuses occurring under the federal government’s 287(g) program which, since 1996, has empowered scores of state and local police agencies to enforce federal immigration law with controversial results, Reuters reported.

One of the best Treasury Secretary’s we’ve ever had continues to prove his worth:
Treasury’s Geithner welcomes Japan support on Iran
“Jan 12 (Reuters) – Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner welcomed Japan’s support of the U.S. campaign to toughen sanctions on Iran on Thursday, and the Japanese finance minister pledged to steadily reduce oil imports from Iran.”
I knew Japan would come through, we really really helped them during the Earthquake!
Impressive. One of the things I L-O-V-E the most about PBO is his ability to get international cooperation; it’s either unprecedented or rare. The international community disregarded us for so long. Kerry talked about avoiding unilateral action and how the US should not have to always shoulder the burden of policing the world. Kerry is a distinguished military vet, recipient of a Purple Heart award and they say he is weak on security while Bush …….I dare not describe what he is and was

Thanks for the link. This is why I am not worried about Snow Mitt & the Grumpy Dwarves running for President right now.
They do not have volunteers like this. That is a long list of voter registration events organized by the grassroots. And that’s just in one state. There’s always somebody doing something in all 50 states through the OFA whether the media reports on it or not. I am rather glad they don’t notice as a matter of fact. Press on.
So true, FiredUpInCa. This is why we must stick together , keep our eyes open, ears tuned in, and feet ready to move. POB can trust the people who represent him in the grassroots just like he started and was very successful in his role in his grassroots movements in the communities in Chicago.
He is being so beautifully rewarded for his unselfish work of his hardworking past. That is why he can move with assurance, hope, and love during this time. People do not understand why so many love him and are willing to work so hard for him and with him to help others. He sowed beautiful seeds long before this part of the journey, and now he is being so beautifully rewarded through so many of us.
We will Press On with our wonderful leader, President Barack Obama for 4 more for 44!!!!!!!!!HZ
Nice – CBS News showed a clip from the Gingrich video about Romney. Not much of it, needless to say, but hopefully enough to send people to their computers to see the rest.
Ed and tweety showed it too!
I just watched that video and I just keep remembering it was made by Republicans. Romney is TOAST.
It has to go viral…..I liked the guy who was on Ed Show and was asked if the film was accurate…he said it was rock solid……they did their research.
ChristiMTL, PBO supporters are going to have endless ‘fun’ with this video between now and November. ;-)
The way they made their millions is heartless and very disturbing….I watched it twice,…I felt so bad for these people.
ChristiMTL, there will come a time of reckoning, for sure.HZ
President Obama at a campaign event in Chicago, speaking about investing in America: “Now, this has never been a Democratic idea or a Republican idea. This isn’t a partisan idea. It was a Republican President from Illinois named Abraham Lincoln who launched the transcontinental railroad and the National Academy of Sciences and the first land grant colleges. Teddy Roosevelt called for a progressive income tax — he was a Republican. Dwight Eisenhower built the Interstate Highway System, invested in boosting our science and math and engineering education here in this country. It was with the help of Republicans that FDR helped millions of people — returning heroes, including my grandfather — get a chance to go college on the GI Bill. This should not be a partisan idea.”
Maybe a preview of the SOTU in two weeks…
Speech the other day:)
Oh, oh…it looks like a showdown at The OK Corral is about to commence!~
GOP Establishment Rushes To Defend Romney’s Vulture Capitalism From Populist Backlash
By Zaid Jilani on Jan 11, 2012 at 10:55 am
In a potentially game-changing shift, Republican presidential candidates, including former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, and Texas Gov. Rick Perry, have tapped into the populist anger of the 99 percent, tearing into former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney’s tenure at the financial firm Bain Capital, which made billions while bankrupting a quarter of the companies it invested in.
The attempt by these candidates to tap into the sentiments of Americans — many of whom are registered Republicans — who have been ripped off and mistreated by corporate executives like Romney is spawning a backlash from the Republican establishment. A number of prominent right wing individuals and groups rushed to defend Romney’s behavior at Bain Capital, saying that being critical of corporate greed is tantamount to betraying conservative values and being anti-capitalism. Here’s a roundup of just some of this conservative backlash:

Yes We Can … DO More Together – We Must! #LandslideOBAMA2012 #4M44
here’s the video
I was enraged and laughing at parts and then in tears at the next. Thanks Newt for this wonderful video.
Wow, I was watching LO and he showed clips of it and I believe Rob-me-and-you will do the same thing to America. People need to wake up.
It’s dynamite JoJo, and the truly delicious irony is that it comes from Gingrich’s people …. like he was ever a defender of the middles class
We will definitely make sure every American sees this, at least once:
@MittRomney – you ever skip a meal so your children could eat – http://t.co/wBMc1XVL – didn’t think so. #LandslideOBAMA2012 #DonHireMitt
@MittRomney – If you think Newton Leroy is giving you a hard time – http://t.co/wBMc1XVL – wait until you face the 99%. #LandslideOBAMA
@MittRomney calls it ‘Creative Destruction’ – http://t.co/wBMc1XVL – That is not ‘capitalism’; that’s code for raping corporations & greed.
Yo @MittRomney, Newton Leroy is NOT about to stop telling the truth about the Bain that is You – http://t.co/XkbVXDGh http://t.co/wBMc1XVL
I think this is the moment that we will look back and say this is what really hurt Robme and caused his defeat.
Any swagger fans out there?
All day long, Chica!! All day long!!!
 Hello fellow-swagger-liker!
He can really zip down those stairs with such ease while everyone else gingerly comes down step by step.
Oh Yeah. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Yeah! Deliberate, purposeful, strong….PBO swagger. Delicious.
:) :) :) someone needs a coooooold shower Chips!
The Prez looks like he’s picked up a litle weight — but in a very good way. :) Gotta say, he’s a fine looking man with a helluva SWAG. Can’t help but love the guy. No disrespect to FLOTUS. Love her too.
newcenturywoman, I thought his face looked alittle thin…oh well, you and I both agree, he looks GOOD!
Puddin’, I was looking at his body, not his face.
Chips, get the NM out. But it is so true. We love our beautiful FLOTUS but she knows that our POTUS is fine.
On a very heavy note for all of us, I must confess, everytime I see him going up or coming down those stairs, my heart gets so full because I think oh, how wonderfully proud his beloved mother would be to see all of this. What a joy she gave to us. So we give thanks for Toot, grandfather, and his lovely mother S.Ann.
How do people get to be part of the group that greets the President at the airport??? That’s something I would totally do!!!
A couple of ways… (for any lurkers who are hatin’ on President Obama, what I am about to say was true of GWBush, Clinton, GHWBush, Carter, Reagan, Ford, Nixon, etc….) Those people are friends and family of people who have either worked in the White House, Secret Service, Congressional and local elected politicians’ staffers, major fundraisers/donors, and campaign workers/volunteers. I’m also convinced that, even in a friendly group like that, there are undercover Secret Service agents.
Sexy! I think I need the naughty mat.
Love PBO’s swag. On another note, I saw some MSM coverage of the president’s Chicago visit – and they mentioned PBO being in full campaign mode, he was all about “pressing the flesh”. I find this statement to be disingenuous. PBO is always gracious and warm. He makes it a point shake people’s hand who gather in the early morning hours to greet him. He spends so much time with children who are not apart of the electorate, internationally, etc…….
He has got it goin’ on!
DreamChaser57, they (msm) have nothing else to say about this President, other than the fact that he has got it going on, so they make sh*t up.
Wow, that was quick! I swear, the GOP is the modern-day equivalent of The Borg!
Jon Huntsman is not happy with his rivals’ attacking Mitt Romney over his time at Bain Capital, and he’s telling them strongly to knock it off.
South Carolina kingmaker Sen. Jim DeMint is cautioning Newt Gingrich against keeping up the negative attacks on Mitt Romney. In an interview with Laura Ingraham on Wednesday, DeMint said the attacks aren’t helping the former House Speaker’s cause. “I would encourage all the candidates, now let’s just be as positive as we can,” he said.
After berating Mitt Romney over his jobs record at Bain Capital, Newt is now saying that he thinks he and others should focus on painting Romney as a disingenuous conservative rather than attack him over free market issues, Politico reports.
Where was Demint when Newt was getting carpet-bombed in Iowa?
They all must have had a “talking to” by the Koch brothers….
Is Huntsman hoping for VP slot now?
TPM says Gingrich never said that about letting up on Bain Capitol.
Which was first reported by Drudge.
Resistance is futile! – Borg mantra
They don’t want the American people to discover how the “Job Creators” do business in this country. That Bain video is not only damaging to Romney, it’s damaging to Wallstreet and all of these large corporations. That video has pulled the mask off of this current version of capitalism which is destroying this country and everyone who isn’t rich. That’s what they are afraid of, the awakening of the American people to what Republicans in this country truly represent.
I have to say, I feel like our country is in such a bad state, that this is a special circumstance that would truly warrant 3 terms for President Obama. Having had to deal with a situation similar to FDR, the idea of 2016 going back to a republican President really disturbs me.
Of course if I had my way, the President would just temporarily abolish Congress because they are so useless, then he could do so much in the 2 terms that he has !!!
I feel like people who want to run for Congress need to take a special test. They need to take a test on civics and understanding the constitution. We make lawyers, doctors, accountants take tests to be licensed. We are required to take a test to learn how to drive!
Being an elected representative should only be for people who are qualified and know what they heck they are talking about. I don’t care if they are liberal or conservative, as long as they are rational, somewhat intelligent, and know how to actually work in government!!!
Any bat shit crazies should be automatically barred from being qualified to serve as an elected official!!!
Sometimes I’m not sure if I can last the months of more of the lies, craziness and stupidity from the GOP in the coming months ahead. I know that it’s really only going to matter in the 4 months prior to the election, and I know the President will be on his A-game, with all his surrogates punching Willard or whoever the ass*&%$ nominee will be, but I sometimes get sad and angry to see so many people who are either too stupid, racist, or greedy falling in step supporting the GOP platform.
Anyone post this today?
These aren’t the first accusations of Scott Walker violating campaign finance laws.
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has committed 1,115 violations of campaign finance law, totaling more than $500,000 worth of fines, since 2009. This includes 456 violations in the last 72 hours, worth nearly $284,000. Under Wisconsin statute, each violation invites a fine of $500:
“Scott Walker has improperly reported well over $500,000 in contributions from inside and outside of Wisconsin,” said Scot Ross, One Wisconsin Now Executive Director. “Scott Walker has absolutely no interest in following the campaign finance rules of the state of Wisconsin and we again call for state regulators to address his serial violation of our laws.”
You know how it goes….the rules aren’t made for them.
Perceptions of Economic News Continue to Improve
Republicans, in particular, are expressing less negative views of economic news than they did just a few months ago. Currently, just 33% of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents say recent news about the economy has been mostly bad, down from 45% in December and 72% in October.
Democrats’ perceptions of economic news, which were far less negative than Republicans’ views in recent months, also have improved. Currently, 23% of Democrats and Democratic leaners say recent economic news has been mostly bad, which is only a slight decline from December (29%) but fewer than half the number that viewed the news as mostly negative in October (50%). Since October, the percentage of Democrats and Democratic leaners saying they are hearing mostly good news about the economy has jumped from 1% to 12%.
Everybody say, “AW”
“The last thing we need is anybody who is sympathetic maybe for TARP fund bailouts and single mandates. I think we’ll get demolished in a general election if we’re tainted with that.
President Obama draws crowds that the GOP candidates can only hope for. In this candid piece Dana Milbank tells about the do-nothing pres that were always outnumbered real people following the candidates in New Hampshire.
This article by Dana Milbank is really revealing. :)
May I suggest a trip over to Political Carnival….there is just too much good Mitt stuff over there to post. No kidding…you can’t make this up, and as promised…they will take themselves down. Good stuff.
thank you :)
Thanks Chips for making it convenient and thanks desertflower for the heads up!
That palin thing doesn’t seem like something a supporter would do..bet the gops are mad.
Did you see the guy Jon Heiliman (sp) on LO? He said the Obama campaign has always thought the GOP nominee would be Rob-me-and-you, and they have already gather stuff on him and are ready…the GOP primary dirt on Robme is just icing on the cake. This President is ready….so Chill Out everyone…He’s Got This..and we’ve got his back too!
THIS. He is WAY to smart…they are ready…this is icing on the cake:)

The GOP’s coming apocalypse
Only because I couldn’t haul my flu-riddled body out of bed this morning did I reach for the ease of the remote instead of slogging on foot to the papers, whereupon my further misfortune was twofold: Within just a few, sadistic minutes, on ‘Morning Joe,’ Chris Matthews droned on in a kind of diseased enchantment about the Mormon worldview and conservative nostalgia; then former governor and current Romney mouthpiece John Sununu — perhaps the wickedest, most devious political hatchet man ever — appeared on the show to straighten everyone out, about everything.
That’s not to suggest in a sarcastic way that Sununu is always brutally wrong. Indeed, this morning he was partially right: In New Hampshire, the media “missed the story,” hellbent as they were to make this second contest a horserace.
I’ll grant you some suspense in Iowa — first time out and all that; roaming packs of evangelicals; Romney’s amber waves of corn; Gingrich’s bombardment; Santorum’s serendipitous debut … and whatnot — Iowa, always a good circus. But it, too, wasn’t really one leg of a horserace, since pretty much everyone knew then, just as they know now, how the race will end.
Hill Harper is fine. That is all.
Uh huh! We now know sumpin else that will send you to the “nt’s”. :-)
When I look at that fourth picture of President Obama, I see where Malia look so much like him, the shape of his face, the eyes.
PBO and his first born, Malia both have the “Dunham” features.
Okay, who on the site…which TOD family member beat down CORNEL WEST? I just got off the phone with one of my friendgirls and she said Corny was on Hannity tonight (I know…she watches FOX, why (?) I don’t know)…Hannity said him if he agreed with Harry Belafonte (sp?) that PBO doesn’t deserve a second term….she said Corny said he did not agree with that and that PBO deserves a second term!!! Hannity asked Corny if Michelle Obama was an “angry black woman”? Corny said First Lady Obama was a smart Princeton/Harvard educated woman…..
I told my friendgirl that that must have been a real old show from way back when…she laughed. I have got to see the repeat!!!!!!!!
Well, I don’t like Harry Belafonte anymore. That’s too bad about what happened to him.
Amazing about Cornel if it’s indeed accurate!
Steve Corbert is off the hook…yall got to watch LOL LOL LOL
