Thank you also from me to these Senators! And shame on those who voted for it. What could Senators Lisa Murkowski, Kay Hutchison and Susan Collins possibly be thinking about it to vote the way they did!
OT…..I tried to get to Politicususa today, and I got a big Error…..failed….this site has been compromised. I remember reading that others had the same trouble a few days ago, but it seems that someone said it was up and running and redesigned…….is there a way I can get to it I don’t know about? Thanks for any info.

WOW. I am watching Martin Bashir and he read a quote from druggie Rush Limbaugh, who doubled down on his attack of Sandra Fluke.

I’m paraphrasing here, “If we’re going to pay for you to have sex, then we want something in return. You should make a video to post online so we can watch.”

Someone deck this bastard, seriously. I encourage violence against this repellent cretin.

Does Ms Fluke have any male relatives? I know mine would be all over Rushslime if he spoke that way about any woman in my family. He would be trying to pick his teeth up off the floor with two broken arms!

Thanks to modern medicine, F-ers like this are kept alive. Remember when he lost his hearing, if that wasn’t a sign to STFU, but they fixed him. Then he had a heart attack, again they fixed him. Excuse me, but many die who deserve to live, and this guy, more than many, well….. That is just mho. Let’s not send out negative energy that WILL come back to us let’s just try not to get tangled up with this mean and ugly form of human nature. Stay in the Light, he can’t get to you there.

Thanks to the Democratic majority in the Senate we can have our contraceptive in our health care. I have been telling my 23 year old daughter, that the laws are not written in stone. At any time America can revert back to the Jim Crowe era or the times of the dark ages, we have elected members of congress that do not believe in integregation, separation of church and state, equal rights and so on, it is important to be aware of what these politicians are saying and doing. Thanks to the election of President Obama, millions of Americans are now awake to the shape shifters in Congress, that they hardly look out for our best interest. We the People now have a seat at the table thanks to our President.

Congrats Chips on your 8 million hits. I just love this place.

I think a lot of people including young people just figure if they elect a well meaning President he/she can take care of everything once elected. Isn’t that where all the complaining came from from the Left? Their expectations were too high and they did nothing to help only complained.

    • March 1, 2012 at 4:26 pm

ewok, you speak the truth. If the GOP had control of all the WH, House and Senate we WOULD revert to the dark ages. The Blunt amendment proves that.

Ok, catching up after being at a meeting all morning.

I won’t dance on Breitbart’s grave, but neither will I cry crocodile tears. He was a hateful human being.

    • March 1, 2012 at 4:11 pm

Just in time before the General Election too. As they say “God dont like ugly” and “karma is a beotch”.

    • March 1, 2012 at 4:49 pm

My internet at work was down for the whole morning so I didn’t know anything until about 1pm. I’m still shocked. I’m not happy, I’m not sad. Its a little sad really that he spent so much of his life being a dispicable person for profit and attention. Then he dies so young? What was it all for?

Have you seen the conspiracy theories about his death? his fans swear Pres.Obama and George Soros killed him. Sorry, Andrew Breitbart did not accomplish much in life to be worthy of conspiracy theories.

Pres. Obama Administration Announces Together for Tomorrow

The White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships, the U.S. Department of Education and the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) announced today Together for Tomorrow, a new initiative to spotlight existing and spur new community engagement in turning around persistently low-performing schools.

“Together for Tomorrow is aimed at changing the relationship between schools and community partners so everyone feels a shared responsibility to improve low-performing schools,” said Joshua DuBois, special assistant to the President and executive director of the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships. “Every child deserves an education that will enable them to succeed in a global economy. Faith and community groups are critical partners in this all-hands on deck moment.”

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan announced the initiative during a town hall meeting at Memorial Middle School in Orlando, Fla.

“Community and family involvement can be the make or break factor in successfully turning around low-performing schools,” said Duncan. “Together for Tomorrow will provide real-life examples of how to effectively transform our struggling schools, and build a community-to-community support system that can help take this critical work to scale.”

    Obama, Dems target oil-industry subsidies

    By Steve Benen

    ===================================

But it turns out Democrats are not without a case of their own. Instead of just pushing back against the GOP talking points, and explaining that new drilling won’t actually lower gas prices, Dems are targeting generous tax subsidies currently going to the oil industry — subsidies Republicans are desperate to protect.

While I do feel sadness for the family of Andrew Breitbart–especially if he has children–I am not shocked at his early death. The amount of vitriol he carried in his heart would be enough to cut down the strongest constitution. That edge, that anger, is too much for anyone to sustain for a long period of time. I have been expecting Rush L. to physically fall apart. I see some of that same thing in Ricky S. People on this site get all fired up, and the blood pressure goes up-there is some yelling and stomping-but there is joy too–and a feeling of good will. That’s a balance that the human heart needs. We see that in our President. He lives with enormous pressure and commitment, but under it all is a base of good will and love. Ricky S. thrives on self-righteousness, being able to be ticked off is his best role he thinks, it’s as though he needs it. It’s an unhealthy view of life and it’s not going to serve him well in the future. At the least, it’s not a Christian viewpoint.

I am sure you are right, auni, the human heart is an organ of happiness and truth in it’s healthy state. When a person is centered in hatred and darkness, instead of Love and Light, the heart will give up, sooner than later in some.

NASHUA — President Obama, in his second visit in about three months to the election battleground state of New Hampshire, fired back today at intensifying criticism from his Republicans rivals over his energy policy and rising gas prices.

Stating that his administration has helped decrease foreign oil dependence and stepped up domestic oil production, Obama said rising gas prices are a function of global markets, including instability in the Middle East, particularly Iran, that no president can fully control.

Obama reiterated his argument that the nation must recommit itself to an all-of-the-above approach, meaning a commitment to both exploration drilling for fossil fuels and developing new sustainable forms of energy.

This needs to go viral. Romney is courting the endorsement of this conspiracy theorist racist cop.The one that just had his BIG announcement that PBO’s birth cert is FAKE!! AHH!! I’m wondering if he thinks that the President of the United States of America actually got vetted as poorly as HE (Arpiao) did!

Another reason NOT to vote for Romney. Aside from having no morals, no core, no solutions, no stands on anything….now we can also add poor judgement and decision making skills to the list.

    • 74 hopefruit2
      March 1, 2012 at 4:36 pm

I agree it needs to go viral. Romney has sought (and received) the endorsement of more than one of these racist birthers, including Donald Trump and Jan Brewer.

These people, these ‘birthers’, are just so so stupid and pathetic. Do they really really believe that IF there was anything at all to be used against PBO, ever, Hillary wouldn’t have found it years ago? They underestimate her! I am truly thankful to see her doing a sterling job in her work as SOS, making a powerful difference, and the photos of her with PBO really gladden my heart.

      Hi a4Alice,
Congratulations on being named a Neighborhood Team Leader for OFA. I just got my official letter from Jim Messina saying I made the cut (along with my co-leader, Linda.) What state and city are you working in? President Obama is counting on us for so much. It’s really a sobering but thrilling responsibility, but I’m finding more and more people eager to get involved. Best of luck with your phone bank!! They can hear you smile!
