The tribunal found that Mr Ahern failed to truthfully account for a number of financial transactions, but did not make a corruption finding against him.

However, the party said the findings regarding Mr Ahern constituted “conduct unbecoming a member of Fianna Fail”.
The Irish government has asked the Irish police to look at the findings of a report into corruption in the Republic’s planning process.
In its report, the Tribunal rejected the former Taoiseach’s evidence about the sources of money in his bank accounts.
In a statement on Thursday, the former taoiseach said he had never done “anything to demean any office” he had held.

I’ve actually seen Air Force One land. It is the coolest thing. The first thing that is cool is that there are NO OTHER PLANES IN THE SKY. You know you are waiting for AF1, but there’s really nothing to see. Then in the distance, there is the smallest speck of a plane, but you see that hump. The unmistakeable hump on the front of AF1, and the blue, gold and white livery.
Then “THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” comes into focus. VERY COOL, indeed!!
I’m still watching the UStream feed. Wonder why it stopped? I thought they were taxiing to take off.
I saw AF1 land in Bozeman, MT when the President came here to stump for Health Care. It was spectacular. I was on the outside and never got to see the President. Just was fighting the Tea Party.
But it makes you proud, doesn’t it? I actually surprised myself, how I was feeling as I watched it land. I STILL have the video on my phone. And the plane had already landed, It was just sitting there, and still, I felt so good about it.

I was on the organizing committee for the prom my junior year in H.S. The band that we arranged to play at prom backed out at the last minute and all we could get was 3 dudes from the marching band who were trying to start a little R&B group. They only knew how to play one popular song. It was “Brick House” by the Commodores. They played over and over and over again… all night long. Ad nauseum. Interspersed with a few football fight songs. Someone went home and brought in a boombox so we could have some music while they were on break. On top of that I broke with my boyfriend the week before prom cuz he cheated on my and ended up going with this nerdy guy who could barely speak, but had a crush on me. He kept asking me all night if I was having a good time. All I could was just smile and say “sure”. Ugh! It was the saddest thing! I swore I never wanted hear that damned song again. But I can’t escaped it. It’s like a musical “GroundHog Day” Curse you Lionel Ritchie!!

I’ve actually seen Air Force One land. It is the coolest thing. The first thing that is cool is that there are NO OTHER PLANES IN THE SKY. You know you are waiting for AF1, but there’s really nothing to see. Then in the distance, there is the smallest speck of a plane, but you see that hump. The unmistakeable hump on the front of AF1, and the blue, gold and white livery.
Then “THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” comes into focus. VERY COOL, indeed!!
I’m still watching the UStream feed. Wonder why it stopped? I thought they were taxiing to take off.
I saw AF1 land in Bozeman, MT when the President came here to stump for Health Care. It was spectacular. I was on the outside and never got to see the President. Just was fighting the Tea Party.
But it makes you proud, doesn’t it? I actually surprised myself, how I was feeling as I watched it land. I STILL have the video on my phone. And the plane had already landed, It was just sitting there, and still, I felt so good about it.
It’s a late night. Safe travels to our President and Chips.

LOL! Y’all I have to tell you this story…I’m giving away my age, but I’m to hyped to care tonight.
I was on the organizing committee for the prom my junior year in H.S. The band that we arranged to play at prom backed out at the last minute and all we could get was 3 dudes from the marching band who were trying to start a little R&B group. They only knew how to play one popular song. It was “Brick House” by the Commodores. They played over and over and over again… all night long. Ad nauseum. Interspersed with a few football fight songs. Someone went home and brought in a boombox so we could have some music while they were on break. On top of that I broke with my boyfriend the week before prom cuz he cheated on my and ended up going with this nerdy guy who could barely speak, but had a crush on me. He kept asking me all night if I was having a good time. All I could was just smile and say “sure”. Ugh! It was the saddest thing! I swore I never wanted hear that damned song again. But I can’t escaped it. It’s like a musical “GroundHog Day” Curse you Lionel Ritchie!!
That’s a pretty sad story… LOL

Hey DF, we are coming to AZ after Easter for a family reunion. At first I didn’t want to, now we are really looking forward to it. There will be a wedding to celebrate. We are renting a house in Buckeye. Everyone is excited because it has a swimming pool. I just don’t want it to be in the 100′s when we are there.
Buckeye! That’s WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY the heck out there! Weather is beautiful now, in the 80′s. perfect. Hope that pool is warm enough to swim in:) I won’t go in mine until it feels like the Gulf of Mexico….long about MAY! You’ll have a great time…best time of the year.
I know. We will be going between Scottsdale and Sun City West. Figured that was in the middle. Back in the 70′s I worked as a Social Worker and our office was in Buckeye. Nowadays everything in Phoenix is along ways away. When I lived there Bell road was the cutoff when I returned from LA. It was totally bare. It was afew years ago.
