i liked the interviewer’s manner as well. He was informed, asked the difficult questions in a respectful, professional manner and waited for an answer; he was not in love with the sound of his own voice. He wanted answers, not just an excuse to give his opinion on matters. It is sad that foreign journalist are often so much more sophisticated, knowledgable and professional than our own these days.
They wouldn’t listen. A lot of the local news outlets put the national media to shame when the President grants them interviews. It has had no effect on people like Matthews as you can see in the above video. He made a complete idiot of himself and seemed totally oblivious.

It’s amazing how PBO’s smackdowns aren’t intended to be malicious. There are no bad feelings behind his comments which is why he can always stay pleasant to people he’s just kicked in the groin. He delivers smackdowns with the same attitude he delivers lines at the WHPC Dinner thing he does every year. I wish I could deliver smackdowns like that. I think it’s because i’m too petty so my smackdowns are always personal and always brutal. I think I want to be more like PBO. Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) raised just over half a million dollars in the first quarter of 2012, her campaign announced Friday.
Bachmann’s $550,000 haul won’t set any fundraising records — and seems like a disappointment, considering Bachmann was able to net $13.5 million in her 2010 congressional campaign. But the Minnesota congresswoman’s campaign manager said it was still a “strong” effort considering the campaign raised funds for only two out of the three months in the quarter.

Two our of three months in a quarter equals 66% of the time! How much are they saying she would have made with all three months? So, apart from printing and shipping costs, all proceeds will go to Libyans.

A FASCINATING DISCUSSION ON GUNS WITH COLUMNIST GARY YOUNGE
This morning on UP With Chris Hayes, Gary Younge was interviewed. Gary attended the NRA meeting on Friday and gave an update on what he saw there. It was an absolutely fascinating discussion that you don’t normally hear on network/cable tv (even though it is sorely needed). Gary was very informed and a delightful guest. The most chilling thing that he said for me was that the NRA singles out four people who they feel are the biggest threat to their gun ownership: President Barack Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Justice Sonia Sotomayor. I think Gary said there was a display showing the four of them. The extreme fear and paranoia is really frightening and dangerous.

It’s amazing how PBO’s smackdowns aren’t intended to be malicious. There are no bad feelings behind his comments which is why he can always stay pleasant to people he’s just kicked in the groin. He delivers smackdowns with the same attitude he delivers lines at the WHPC Dinner thing he does every year. I wish I could deliver smackdowns like that. I think it’s because i’m too petty so my smackdowns are always personal and always brutal. I think I want to be more like PBO. This morning on UP With Chris Hayes, Gary Younge was interviewed. Gary attended the NRA meeting on Friday and gave an update on what he saw there. It was an absolutely fascinating discussion that you don’t normally hear on network/cable tv (even though it is sorely needed). Gary was very informed and a delightful guest. The most chilling thing that he said for me was that the NRA singles out four people who they feel are the biggest threat to their gun ownership: President Barack Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Justice Sonia Sotomayor. I think Gary said there was a display showing the four of them. The extreme fear and paranoia is really frightening and dangerous.

And Biden actually worked for that money.
And one thing that I love about VPBiden and POB, they both have never displayed to any of us that money rules them or their love for the ‘least of us.’ That is what makes both of them so very special.
I will leave with these thoughts about POB. A TOD family member mentioned a few days ago( I can’t remember who) about a photo that Chips had here for us of POB. The person mentioned that they loved POB’s eyebrows. That comment brought back a thought that I had from reading POB’s book, “Dreams from My Father”.

POB has stated many times through interviews that he learned from his precious and loving mother that the main points of his mother’s lessons to him were,”if you want to grow into a human being,” she would say to me, ” your’re going to need some values.” “Honesty,,” “Fairness,” “Straight talk,” and “Independent Judgement,” These were the things that POB came away with from the teachings of his beautiful mother. We all can see that now in our President. We are so blessed, and thus we will go on and think on these things as we work hard and constantly supporting a decent and compassionate man, our President, Barack H. Obama. HZ
My President puts the audience on notice that what they just heard is what passes as the Press in the United States, suggests they’re all assholes who just make up shit, then lays it on Chris Matthews that he’s one of the biggest assholes in the business by veiling the insult in “and he’s one of the best at what he does”. ZING! Oh, how I love this man.
