Good thing PBO has a strong sense of self, and the presence of Spirit to know his kid photos would be making their way around the world…. Pretty sure most of us wouldn’t want these photos published! Hee! How cute is he!
Actually, looking at that little open, free, toothless smile makes you realize just how much confidence this man has. He looks completely un-self-conscious in that picture. Adorable!

I’m watching the live stream of the energy innovators, Champion of Change at the White House.. it is quite informative & interesting: http://www.whitehouse.gov/live
HEY EVERYBODY! Just got back from the event in Dearborn yesterday!
Poor AAMOM could not afford the “rope line” but got real close. Sorry she does not know how to post a picture here.
Other funny thing, stayed with my mom while down in Detroit and of course she has no wi-fi. LOL I felt I was in the desert without water.
Barack Obama is gorgeous in person and his voice just made you tremble (ok I know a little over the top) but aside from the 800 videos I have viewed of him, in person you are simply mesmerize. I was standing near a bunch of lil ole ladies white and black like me and they were like kids at a Beatles concert. One lil ole white lady wore her O’Bama Green T-shirt and AMEN’D every sentence he uttered. When he bends down into the mike and does that deep voice thing…I mean it was church. So afterwards when you realize you are not in the $1000 rope line you like WTF I need to be there.
I totally know what you mean! There will probably be a lot of upcoming events so hopefully you can get on the rope line! The trick is to get there like 3 hours early. I went to a fundraiser back in 2010 and I got there very early to get the special wristband.
Vicariously thrilled for you, aamom! Imagining what it would be like to be a crowd with PObama within viewing distance. I got excited when I was in a crowd of 15,000 peeps in Manchester, NH in 2004 trying to see John Kerry. Never did.
I know it’s part of our President’s day, and he will be lovely, but I truly don’t care about the Crimson Tide and whether or not they won a “championship!”
a leak! RT @MattNegrinThe "CookieGate" bakery dissed by Romney says the Obama team in Pittsburgh just ordered 5 dozen cookies for $27.— Michael Czin (@MichaelOFA) April 19, 2012
Good one—–noticed lots in that area were not happy with the Romney diss. Romney is just clueless, isn’t he? Why would he ever say such a thing anyway? I don’t think he’s that bright or he’s been so sheltered, never knows how to act in any kind of social setting. He’s always so awkward it’s cringe-worthy.
I love our ‘O Teams’. Smart move. I wish that the team there, in that community, will continue to order bakery goods throughout the campaign just to give the small businesss the business. Who knows, ‘a distastful taste’ can turn into a very ‘tastful and sweet one.’HZ
Why wasn’t Mitt there first thing this morning ordering $100 worth of cookies. For someone who “knows business”, it seems the only thing he sure knows how to do is destroy them!

Could the ‘Bama players smile a little bit, please? Man, were they serious. President Obama is good at these team recognition events tho, always tying in the idea of working together to achieve results, that we’re all part of a team. Just read the write-up in the Birmingham paper—-t’was good—-a great way to get some who might not ever pay attention to anything President Obama does to at least notice his decency and non-scariness.
Mitt Romney Seduces then Screws Republicans on Immigration
—————————————
Conservative Mitt Romney is slip-sliding away with yet another flip flop. Dizzy yet?
Mitt Romney’s courting of the conservative Republican base has ended with a stealthy, morning after slide out of bed and run for the door. Don’t worry, he’ll call you.
If you believe that, you also believe that Romney is going to be “conservative” when elected. But hey, he knows you have no choice. You have to vote for him because no one else is going to ask you out at 11PM on a Thursday night, and if all you can get is a Mitt Ro booty call, well, you have to take it.
Watch the flip flopping starting with today:
Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign reiterated on Thursday that the candidate had never endorsed Arizona’s contested immigration law, noting that he meant only that its employee status verification provision should be a model.
But wait, that’s not what he told his base as he smoothly slipped their clothes off during the primaries…
As I read the last sentence “slipped their clothes off…slipped her clothes off… Slapping my head with both hands. Get out! Get out! The image of the magic underwear on both parties is all in my mind . Now I can’t get it out. Sorry, I have a dirty mind.
Miss pat, stop all of the ‘slipping of clothes and ‘slapping body parts’, you know we will be given another label: “The Slipping and Slapping Club of the Dems.” (((((((( Love your humor)))))))))HZ
“His approach probably worked fine in the era before modern communications. You could tell a crowd in Southern Illinois one thing and a crowd in Northern Illinois another and never the twain would meet. Not so these days, when we can all watch YouTube and read each other’s local newspapers on the Internet. Politicians cannot hide from themselves in the twenty-first century; even if the mainstream media treats them with kid gloves bloggers will not; word spreads, videos appear on You Tube. But Republicans are slow to figure this out, like Bachmann resorting to claiming that recordings of her saying something about an issue were “urban legends” or like Romney, simply pretending he never said any such thing, even as we watch him say it, again and again and again.”
In Ohio, Mitt Romney said, "I will always tell the truth." Check out how many times he's done the exact opposite: OFA.BO/JU4dn5— TruthTeam2012 (@truthteam2012) April 19, 2012
Willard tries to copy President Obama on everything he says, everything he does, goes everywhere he goes—–it’s the most pitiful campaign I’ve ever seen. It’s like some kind of stunt an immature candidate for student council president would do. It’s juvenile and weak.
Norah O’Donnell to Newt Gingrich about Mitt Romney: “Why are you saying he is a liar?”
Ace reporter Norah O’Donnell interviewed Newt Gingrich back in January and she was shocked, shocked I tell you that Newt had the audacity to actually call Mitt Romney a liar. This has to be one of the most embarrassing things I have ever seen on television. And Bob Schieffer is just as bad as Norah. Newt just says what everybody knows. Mitt Romney is a pathological liar. Period. Full Stop.
Gingrich: Romney Is a Liar, But I Could Support Him
NOTE: As Steve Benen so aptly noted at the time of this interview, it should have been Norah O’Donnell and Bob Schieffer pointing out Mitt Romney’s lies. They just couldn’t bring themselves to do it. Pathetic.
Reports like these leave me with the feeling that reporters are dim bulbs. I wonder if any investigative reporters, who aren’t known nationally like the ones with their dullness on tv all the time, are ever thinking..”I COULD DO A MUCH BETTER JOB THAN THAT!”?
Yeah – I could do without that poll. Not much happened between yesterday’s polls and today’s polls that we don’t already know. President Obama is awesome. Mitt is a pathetic liar. The media is corrupt and useless. Some people are fast asleep.
Press secretary Jay Carney weighed in Thursday on the political dog fight over a passage in President Obama’s book that said he ate dog meat as a child in Indonesia.
Carney dismissed the conservative buzz over the dog-eating, partially fueled by Mitt Romney campaign adviser Eric Fehrnstrom on Twitter.
“Making a big deal out of it sounds like somebody trying to get out of the doghouse,” Carney said.
Romney has been haunted for years by the story of his strapping the family dog, Seamus, (in a carrier) to the car roof for a 12-hour drive to Canada.
Carney should have reminded the press that the story was published, by the President, over a decade ago! If the media is only getting to it now, then it shows why the media is in such a pathetic state. The President himself was not involved in harming the dog, unlike Romney.
One other thing I confirmed in person. this may be a lil disconcerting for some folks but it’s a fascinating subject for black folks in particular since you cannot tell by videos nor photos.
Obama is not “light-skinned” like Halle Berry nor is he “golden-skinned” like Steve Harvey nor is he “half-black” like Bill Burton or Karen Finney.
He is truly beige. Imagine the color beige. That is Barack Obama.
Being Black, I understand what you say, which is why I always called bullshyt for those White folks who tried to say that, ‘ of course it’s obvious Barack Obama is bi-racial’. I was like, um, no, Barack Obama just looks like a Black man. I use my barbershop test. If went into any Black barbershop in America in 2004, before the convention, with a picture of Barack Obama, and a picture of Harold Ford, Jr. and asked Black folk to tell me which one was bi-racial, who would they have chosen?
Obama or the at least a shade and a half lighter with green eyes Harold Ford?
Come on, now.
Barack Obama looks like a Black Man in America. A handsome Black man, but a Black man nonetheless.
Because sometimes in the pictures he looks very light and in other picutres he looks brown skinned. The picture the other day Chips posted with PBO and FLOTUS wearing red, their complexion color is the same. It must be the lighting.
I don’t see the big deal either. The conversation about his skin tone is no different than people mentioning he is taller or shorter in person. I don’t think the topic of skin tones should make anyone feel uneasy.
I agree. It’s hard to tell true complexions on video or TV. For those youngens’ here, black folks use to have a “green” tinge on TV years ago. They had figured out how to get our colors right. Also, I always hear what beautiful skin Mrs. O has, but it’s hard to tell on TV. I remember wonder why Muhammad Ali always said he was “pretty” until I saw him up close and personal. His complexion was down right lovely. Smooth as a baby’s behind.
It’s as harmless as discussing the beautiful shades in a flower garden. Not everyone here has seen PBO in person. I’ve seen him once from a distance, barely. And the second time, I was able to view him closer and for the duration of his speech. He’s a cutie. Let us enjoy him as much as we can as there’s so much hatred out there trying to keep us from doing so. I’m drinking in as much PBO as I can as he will be gone from our constant view in a few years. Heaven help us then.
Interesting conversation you all Actually, PBO is one shade lighter than I and I am a caramel colored. So he was correct when asked why he indentifies himself as AA when he is bi-racial. He looks like someone in my family. And there’s no mistake we are AA.
Thank you aamom, that tidbit was interesting and relevant, tell me, would he pass the paper bag test? We had a whole big conversation about that around the Easter table; it was too funny we actually pulled out a paper bag. It was truly hysterical in light of how such a painful part of our history could be made light of…no pun intended indeed!!!
This felt great since I know my agent and have given them business for 20 years. It was a much more personal call then one you make to a Congressman or large corporation, insurance agents know you on a first name basis.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A U.S. trade panel approved anti-dumping duties on steel nails from the United Arab Emirates and optical brightening agents from China and Taiwan on Thursday.
The U.S. International Trade Commission voted 6-0 in both cases that U.S. producers had been materially injured or threatened with material injury by the imports.
The two cases were among a group of five filed over of the course of two days last year.
Earlier this week, the ITC rejected duties on refrigerators from South Korea and Mexico and steel wheels from China.
The panel will vote on Monday in the fifth case involving imports of steel wire from China and Mexico.
Even when Rubio is added to the ticket – Obama wins among Latinos HANDS DOWN. With the Black, Latino and female vote almost assuredly going to PBO, Willard is toast, no matter how the MSM and Polllsters try to skew the polls by undersampling minorities and women.

Woah!!! I’m not sure how legit The Free Wood Post is (never heard of it) but if this turns out to be true. They just lost what little bit of the female vote they had left. I guess we need to spread this far and wide. Lawd, I hope someone has video of this!
Ann Romney is as dumb as a post. This should go viral and not be dropped until after PBO wins in November. What planet is this woman from. I have worked for 48 years and damn well better be paid what a man by my side is paid. If not there would be hell to pay.
Me thinks, the Military is Worn out in Afghanistan, starting to make Grave errors.
Now, a Blackhawk just crashed, 4 dead!
Every day, their is something horrific over there!
I don’t know about the military being worn out. I do know that people are tired of war in general. But come a Romney presidency and everyone will be all ready to go to war again in Iran! The MSM will no longer report on war casualties or polls showing people tired of war, but instead start framing the issue as a case for going to war in another country.
Don’t forget, Romney doesn’t want an end to the war in Afghanistan, either. If the military is tired now, per Jovie, then they’ll have to “suck it up” under Romney (heaven forbid).
Great day in Dublin, thrilled to be kicking off Ireland for Obama! (excuse my red-eye) lockerz.com/s/202566871— Terry McAuliffe (@Terry_McAuliffe) April 19, 2012
Terry M got on my last nerve in 2008 because he was the darling of the media while supporting Hillary but he is doing a fantastic job of supporting PBO in Va. Now grant it I think he has an ulterior motive because he wants to be Governor of Va really badly but I have seen several events posted in Northern Va where he is hosting in support of PBO. Also, I never hear anyone say he is on cable tv bad mouthing the President like Rendell and others so I’m glad we have his full throated support.
Not everybody who supported Hillary is still spouting sour grapes. A lot of them supported her because they believed in her, but put even more importance in the ideals of the Democratic Party and see PBO as the leader and will do everything they can to make sure he is elected.
Terry is a die hard democrat. Sure he supported Hillary in the primaries, but he is truly a party first person. He hasn’t been very visible lately, but I’m sure we will be seeing more of him as the campaign really gets going.
Actually he has been very visible in Virginia. He was the guest speaker at two new office openings in Northern Virginia in the last week. He has been a great advocate for the President.
When he first ran for governor in 2009, I thought he would be a terrible choice. But after four years of Vaginal Probe,Terry looks like a gift from God.
Great efforts are underway both locally and nationally to keep secret the identities of people and organizations paying for local political advertisements. But Americans can still do something, even when broadcasters shirk their responsibilities. In this essay, Bill Moyers suggests
what you can do to bring those names to light.

When he talks, he still sounds like he’s under that desk in Baghdad. At the time, I thought he sounded that way because of the fear and excitement of the war, i didn’t realize that he always sound like that.
When he talks, he still sounds like he’s under that desk in Baghdad…………..ROFL, you are so funny, Debz, really, I’m falling off my chair laughing, but yeah you’re right, lol
Hoperuit2, you are not alone. I too find Wolf Blitzer to be not only annoying but also one o those media who revels in pushing GOP talking points. I am sorry, but I can’t stand him. It’s people like Blitzer who are debasing journalism in America.
The video included in this post from 2006 will have you shaking your head in total agreement. Not much has changed, it’s only gotten worse. If it’s Sunday, it’s still meet the Republicans.
If It’s Sunday, It’s a Conservative, Redux
—————————————-
It’s the same people, week after week. Most frequent guest George Will has been named the most incorrect pundit in a media study. Most frequent political guest Michele Bachmann (I was as surprised as you to find out it wasn’t John McCain) holds the distinction of the most “Pants-On-Fire” lies on Politifact. Fox News Sunday’s perennial panel member Bill Kristol is so invariably incorrect that he has spawned his own tumblr site called “Bill Kristol is always wrong” categorizing all the lies and partisan-motivated crap that he spews.
These are the people polluting the national dialog: those who have little regard to facts or truth telling. Few liberal voices, fewer voices of color or women. No voices of the working or lower classes.
That is why John Amato wanted to focus on the “bobbleheads”, as we term them. That is why it is so important to highlight those egregious clips week after week. Because no matter what they tell us, this is not a conservative country. They just want you to believe it is.
During the Bush administration, the excuse given by the MSM for having more Republicans was because it was a Republican administration and they deserved the attention. Now, the excuse given is that since it is a Democratic administration, the opposition party needs to be given a larger forum. In other words, the Dems are screwed no matter what.
They think they know which side their bread is buttered on, but which party brought the global economy to collapse, and erased half the value from the stock market in one fell swoop? Which party is presiding over record profits for private industries and a healthy 100% rebound of the stock market to near record values? Hint: first answer is the GOP. The second answer isn’t.
“Dems are screwed no matter what.” That’s the absolute TRUTH! This is what people who are quick to criticize Democrats over messaging have to come to terms with. The U.S. mainstream media has become a propaganda vehicle for the GOP. Even when they allow Democrats to come on the Sunday shows, they generally prefer Democrats who are willing to bad mouth the President.

Romney’s misfire on plant closings
By Steve Benen – Thu Apr 19, 2012 4:26 PM EDT.
For much of 2011, Mitt Romney’s campaign relied heavily on a specific campaign tactic: they’d hold an event in front of a closed factory, then blame President Obama for the plant’s troubles. Most of the time this didn’t make any sense for those who care about details and facts, but Romney seemed to like it, so the Republican campaign kept doing it.
But that was last summer, when the recovery stalled and talk of a “double dip” was ubiquitous. As of a few months ago, Romney decided to switch gears and acknowledge that the economy has improved on Obama’s watch after all, while insisting that Americans not give the president credit.
As of today, Romney has switched back, and has returned to the closed factories.
Republican Presidential presumptive nominee Mitt Romney appeared in Lorain, Ohio today to deliver a rebuttal to a speech President Obama just across town at a local community college. But the site of the speech isn’t necessarily linked to President Obama.
The National Gypsum drywall plant were the speech is being held closed its doors four years ago during the Presidency of George Bush ,and while the banner in the background reads “Obama Isn’t Working,” at least one city official has publicly questioned the site of the speech.
“When you have to clean up a mess that was created over eight years, you will not get it done in four,” Lorain City Council President Joel Arredondo, a Democrat, told the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
So to prove some kind of point about Obama, Romney appeared at an Ohio factory … that closed under Bush.
How many WTF moments has that been this week for the Romney campaign?
1) A hand picked group of Republican voters in Pennsylvania give Mitt a bit of truth about the stimulus, the need for education and the fact that raising taxes is needed sometime. He looked stiff, uncomfortable and out of touch.
2) He dissed homemade cookies from a popular local bakery in Pennsylvania. Ouch! A self inflicted wound if I ever saw one.
3) He rebuts the speech President Obama made by criticizing him for the closing of a plant that occurred during the Bush administration. That’s some crack research team.
4) I still haven’t heard anything about the pre-butal he did in North Carolina in front of the DNC convention site. I understand it literally rained on his parade. This was really kinda silly. Just another opportunity to tell more lies.
5) I think I saw a post where Romeny lied and said he will tell the truth. This should have caused anyone within earshot to crack up laughing hysterically. That includes reporters.
We still have a few more days left in this week. I am sure this is not the end of the screwups. They are a bunch of juveniles. They got nothin to work with. Unbelievable.
Evening guys, My internet exile is over. It was that strict anyway…lol.
So either Rubio thinks a)Romney gonna lose in November and he doesn’t want the “taint” of Romney and he doesn’t want to be tarred with it or b)he wants to be at the top of the ticket in 2016 or at the bottom of the ticket with say Jeb Bush?
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), one of the most buzzed-about potential running mates for Mitt Romney, says he will not be the party’s vice presidential nominee even if Romney personally asks him.
“I don’t want to be the vice president right now, or maybe ever,” Rubio said at a National Journal forum in Washington on Thursday.
The usual disclaimer: Potential vice presidential often publicly express a lack of interest in the position, a pose that guards them against seeming presumptuous or charges that they’re preparing to abandon their constituents for personal ambition.
Still, Rubio’s comments Thursday went at least a half-step farther than previous denials. Asked whether he would turn down a direct request from Romney to join the ticket, Rubio replied, “Yes.”
“But you know he’s not going to ask,” Rubio said. “That’s not how this works. He’s watching this interview so he’ll know….”
Imagine if this was President Obama, with severely flawed people popping out of the woodwork who don’t have a chance in the world to actually become Vice President (who don’t stand much chance of being re-elected to their own positions, in fact), declining any potential offer to be first in line to take over as Leader of the Free World. Imagine how this would be relayed by the media and their cohorts. We wouldn’t be hearing crickets chirping right now.
Or, he saw the polls that show Romney does even worse in Florida if Rubio is on the ticket and doesn’t want to hurt is image, what there is left of it.
I know- theres not a chance in heck I’d actually eat anything.. drool possibly yes. I mean, really these two are my most favorite men (after my sons of course) . And yes I did indeed donate.. unable to resist.
Could someone please explain to me why we need to see two broadcasts of Hardball with Tweety everyday? I would love to see Martin Bashir on later so more people could see his show. He’s terrific. He just makes sense.
In the minds of the brass at MSNBC he is the biggest star on their station. Folks continue to watch his show at 5 and 7 so it reinforces the brasses assumption that he is the golden boy.
“Could someone please explain to me why we need to see two broadcasts of Hardball with Tweety everyday”?
I don’t understand either Ladyhawke. I can’t even watch one broadcast of Tweety. All that salivating and spitting on his guests. Personality swings like a broken pendulum.
Jeopardy host Alex Trebek visited the White House on Thursday and took an impromptu tour of the West Wing.
He met press secretary Jay Carney, posed behind the podium in the press briefing room and signed the infamous pool wall in the West Wing basement.
Trebek was at the White House to shoot some B roll and photos for a Power Players tournament the show is filming on Friday and Saturday at Constitution Hall in D.C.
He said he spent some time on Wednesday with Vice President Joe Biden talking about what questions to ask.
The Power Players include politicians and journalists and former Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs. Trebek shared with Carney a question he plans to ask Gibbs, but our lips are sealed.
If Mitt Romney chooses New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie for the Republican ticket, he’d find himself in a tie with President Barack Obama, according to a poll released Thursday.
Christie would boost Romney to 47 percent, the same as Obama, the new Public Policy Polling survey shows. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush pulls Romney within one point of the president, with the Obama and Vice President Joe Biden ticket scoring 48 percent to Romney-Bush’s 47 percent. And having either Mike Huckabee or Rick Santorum as a running mate gets Romney two points away from the president — 46 percent to Obama’s 48 percent.
Bull s***! Have you seen Christie’s size? That man is a liability to the Republican party. A VP has to go all over the country with the nominee and this man cannot even walk. Please, there is not one person that can run for VP on that side that can debate Joe Biden. Rubio is Cuban, Cuban dislike other Hispanics. Better ask Sarah P to come out and ogle the old white men that think she is gorgeous plus she makes good word salads. I am sure she has read some books and newspapers by now and should will be able to answer a few questions without tutoring. Forget tolls and trends. Just vote.
I’m going to release a poll saying that no VP pick in the world can fix a weak candidate– otherwise Michael Dukakis would have been president. Jo Biden can talk sensible circles around any right wing thug Robme could name. And in the end, it’s all about the clueless, soulless, charisma challenged lying Robme having to face the incandescently brilliant Barack Obama.
these media types are annoying!!!! tell these morons to just use this strange thing called google and they would see HOW MANY TIMES in the past President Obama has used this line. anyone who paid even half of the attention knows it is something Candidate Obama said over, and over, and over,…………………
Besides, we the really question is : “so what if PBO was doing so?? Is this a true or flase statement??? was he or FLOTUS born with a silver spoon??”
Mitt Romney have been saying all kinds of things about President Obama, all kinds of lies, but that seem to be okay with the media. And I don’t give a darn if it took a swipe at Romney or it didn’t, President Obama was not lying when he said he was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he wasn’t. So to hell with clowns like Knoller or Matthews.
If Tweety spent a fraction of the time gushing over President Obama’s virtues—–and there are plenty to gush about—- as he does slobbering over Bill Clinton’s, it would be helpful and make sense. Sadly, he does not. He only seems to talk about Obama in a perfunctory way.
The same Clinton that Tweety trashed all the time throughout his presidency! There is absolutely no difference between Tweety and Willard “Mitt” Romney. They are both two-faced liars.
Those polls mean nothing concerning the possible VP candidates. True research shows that VP candidates have about 1-3% possible influence on the outcome. Even Sarah Palin, just made McCain’s defeat a little surer. These are polls put out there to give these guys cred to be chosen….Neither Christie nor Jeb is going to tie himself to Roney’s losing tail. They are all looking to 2016. No Bush is EVER going to agree to run for VP….it’s the top guy or nothing for them. Huckabee and Santorum might bring a few southern states along better, but I doubt they would influence states where it would make a difference. For heaven’s sakes Santorum dropped out of Pennsylvania….he knew he didn’t have a chance. However, I don’t see either Huckabee or Santorum wanting to be second. Huckabee is getting wealthy in cable. He would have to give that up to run for VP. Frankly, I see Romney choosing a clone. He’s not comfortable with anyone the least bit different from him.
lol me again ok try this. In person Barack Obama looks like he’s in his 20s. He does not look old like in the youtubes. This was more shocking than the other thing and I sense……is a small piece of why the GOP can’t stand him. He looks very very young for someone 50 years old.
YES HE IS VERY THIN! which underscores why his deep voice is so powerful. anyway I’m putting my $1000 rope line money in the layaway for the next time he visits!
As he has since January, Mr. Obama tops Mr. Romney, the presumptive Republican nominee, by six percentage points in the survey, 49% to 43%, a lead just within the poll’s margin of error. NBC/WSJ
That’s pretty high for PBO for the WSJ poll. Isn’t the margin of error 3 points? That was so when I took statistics. Frankly, I think this will be Romney’s high water mark. This is pretty standard after things are settled.
Remember four years ago, the Democratic contest was still on…..we didn’t know until the first of June for sure who won, and we sure didn’t know either party’s VP choice. This is WAY too early for Romney. He does NOT wear well…..he will be old news and people will be exhausted and tired of him. They are peaking early. Also, PBO’s group have known always that he will be the nominee, and they have research on him that we cannot imagine. Romney is shooting his wad now…..PBO hasn’t started. He and his group are masters of timing, and timing is extremely important.
Just read the transcript of Jay Carney’s press briefing today. In writing it’s even more obvious how shallow the questions are from the front row. Honest to God, Jay has the patience of Job. I think I would eventually take my notebook, stomp off the podium, and go down and swipe a few of them up along side the head. Since he is young enough to be my son I would like to give him a big hug, set him down at my table, give him a warm slice of my famous apple pie (with ice cream), and say “God bless you Son”. What’s his email address–think I’ll invite him on over.
I know I”m talking a lot tonight, but I have one more thing about the VP race. Our local news in OKC is all excited because our governor Mary Fallin is one of those being “talked” about for VP. She has NOT said no. Last night one of the channels asked for people’s comments on that. Out of seven comments, only one was favorable, from her own state.
Here’s a good slogan for her: The new VP….governor of the state with the worst roads! She is. She would be Sarah Palin Okie style. Her accent is as annoying as Sarah’s.
I thought Matt Damon was concerned about education? Kiss Bush for the work on aids what are you going to give him for NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND? The Two Wars? Almost bankrupting the U.S.? Devastating the States Budgets across the country?…Arsehole
Her affair with the trooper didn’t hurt her gubernatorial race. She’s a Republican, and talks long and loud about being a born-again Christian. She married a respectable businessman shortly before announcing her run, so she could have “family” pictures in her commercials. She also joined one of the largest evangelical churches in OKC, and made sure that pastor conducted her wedding, so everything was “forgiven” and cleaned up. As a Congresswoman she did nothing for our district. She was lieutenant governor for two terms…and that was basically her first paid job. She rails against the government, but has been paid by the government her entire adult life. I think she’s smoking sumpin to think she’d ever be chosen, but the local news people got a big thrill!
DALLAS — For years, Katie Sanchez participated in her local Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, raising money annually to honor her aunt, cousin and a male friend – all breast cancer survivors.
But when her local race rolls around this fall, she won’t be there. She already donated her entry fee to Planned Parenthood.
“Pretty much everyone I walk with has decided to do something else,” she said.
Sanchez and many other Komen supporters have abandoned the nation’s largest breast-cancer charity since news emerged in late January that it had decided to stop making grants to Planned Parenthood for breast cancer-screening. Komen soon reversed that move following a three-day onslaught of criticism.
Organizers of individual Race for the Cure events – 5K runs and walks that account for most of the charity’s fundraising – have seen participation decline by as much as 30 percent. Most also saw their fundraising numbers go down, although a couple of races brought in more money.
Race organizers acknowledge the effect of the Planned Parenthood debacle, which angered people on both sides of the abortion debate.
“I think there’s no getting around the fact that the controversy did have an impact,” said Leslie Aun, a spokeswoman for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. “We’re not back where we were. We know that it’s going to take a while.
So Tweety and his favorite sidekicks UpChuck Todd and Coward Fineman are breathlessly talking doom and gloom over one aspect of a poll that is overwhelmingly positive for President Obama. First off, Obama leads Willard by 6 points. Although Willard appears to be doing better on the economy questions than Obama, the mere fact that PBO leads by 6 points despite trailing on the economy suggests that it’s NOT the economy that will be the deciding factor this election.
Secondly, Tweety has no compunction about predicting November based on this poll seven months out, but he forgot that just a few weeks ago when PBO was LEADING Romney on the jobs front, he dismissed it by saying that only October polls mattered, not March polls because they were too early. Here’s an excerpt from what he said:
// “Plus, there`s an old saying in politics, as well as in baseball, Don`t
believe what you see in March, meaning don`t get too excited about how well
someone plays in spring training. Well, it`s only March now in politics,
but we have another poll, this one in Wisconsin, showing President Obama
pulling away in double digits from Mitt Romney.
But we also know the far more important month in — well, it`s
politics, in politics, is October, the eve of the election itself.” //
This seems to be a replay of the “It’s good for McCain” bullshyte we had to endure in 2008. Up, down or even all polls are bad news for PBO and good news for Mitt. The MSM is so obviously desperate to prop up Mitt, their seeming rooting for this pathetic liar is very unseemly.
Bravo to Martin Bashir. So the Mormon church don’t condom lying. So I guess Romney don’t care what the church think. Mitt Romney think he is above the church. Romney is a man who will say what he has too, he is a bold face liar.
I read here from someone who posted about Mormon’s on lying…that it is condoned if it’s for good..I don’t know of any religion that condones lying it’s in the ten commandments.
LadyHawke, Robney was in The QC yesterday. It did rain, but the event was held indoors, so… It got no play because it was pathetic. Look at the contrast.
(Please note the caption. Despite the fact that the CLT Observer should know better being located a block away from BofA Stadium, they claim this spot was chosen because it is near the stadium. In fact, it is a good 10 miles away from Uptown where the stadium is located.)
No comparision! While I have no pictures, I vividly remember PBO coming to Charlotte in 2010. he was here to visit a manufacturing plant in my neighborhood. People lined the streets cheering as his car drove by. It was spring break, so my kids were with me. They were SO excited just to see his CAR! We had stopped in the parking lot of a shopping center to see him go by. One of my favorite memories is of the family from the Chinese restaurant running outside with the aprons on to wave. I honestly think they were even more excited than my kids!
Funny! I remember when some fundiegelical wacko (he was either from CBN or Focus on the Family, I forget) went on tv to pray for bad weather for PBO’s open air Democratic Convention speech in Colorado in 2008. It turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous night in Denver. Not a drop of rain. Perfect night for the spectacular fireworks they set off.
Then again, even the rain likes him, as we all well know….
Of course Mother Nature loves PBO! That’s why we had a mild winter here in Washington – so that PBO could fly to and from the various states smoothly without being hampered by weather.
“The Romney campaign chose the spot because it is near Bank of America Stadium where President Obama will give his acceptance speech to cap the Democratic convention”.
I saw Robme’s event on LO Last Word, LO said there about 150 people in contrast to PBO’s thousands who waited hours to hear him. I hope Robme keeps embarrassing himself cause it only make our president look even better.
I’m finally getting caught up on TOD. Hachiko, I’m so happy you made it to Maine! It’s my dream to live there. I’d like to give you my email address, but I don’t know how. If you need some Tucker food or people food or anything, I’d like to help out. Good people should never struggle. Never.
Re: MSM. Please try to remember that their job is no longer to report the truth. Their job is just to get people to watch. They will create tension and drama just to get viewers. In 2008 the numbers changed every single week. One week it was close. the next McCain was up. Then Obama was up. In the days before the election, they claimed it was either close or McCain was leading. The actual results were completely different from the polling. MSM does not influence elections. The only people claiming that are the media. They had no effect ob Clinton’s re-election or Bush’s and they did the same kind of reporting they are doing now. It’s hard to fill 24 hours with news about politics when there simply is none. So they grab at whatever straws they can.
I wish the media, people would talk about that speech VP Biden gave the other day concerning the Violence Against Women Act and why the republicans are against re-authorizing that bill. It was a down right great speech.
Actually there is one AA woman with brown hair. And one AA man with a bald head. Ugh, I can’t believe I just looked at that pic. I detest rethugs in general, and that one in particular.
Hey, I’m watching a stream of Ed Schultz’ show and Martin Bashir is on!! First time I’ve seen Martin in the primetime.
I’m wondering if this might be a precursor to moving Martin to primetime — maybe take over the 7PM slot of Tweety’s?
I happened to switch to Rachel Maddow for a short time and she is actually saying (summary of her comments) — Republicans and Conservatives are Pro Gay Rights and they are leading the charge on gay equality and President Obama and his administration are not.
hahahhahahhahahahahahahhahahhahahahahhahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahhahhahaha!!! Somehow, I doubt that. If they are rolling back women’s rights, why does she think they are supporting gay rights? Repugs (in general) hate gay people, even when they are gay themselves. Madcow is too stupid by half.
she ought to hang her head in shame.. but then she’s proven herself a liar before. Anyone that can even let the words come out of their mouth that Repubs have done anything for the gay community are about as dishonest as the day is long.
I am watching Rachel – and I didn’t get that message at all. She was discussing how anti-gay the Republicans are. She did discuss several prominent gays who are working within the Republican party to attempt to move it on these issues – with little results.
I hold to my statement. Those are the comments she lead off with at the beginning of the show. After she had the audacity to say that PO’s administration was not leading on Gay rights because President Obama will not say he supports Gay marriage, I had enough. The fact that she would lead into the conversation with that bullshyte regardless of the few repubs that worked (in the past) on the issues does not support her argument. She ain’t slick.
You are right that I did not stick around for the rest of her comments after that point because I heard enough. She can gtfoohwtdabs.
Ugh, I really, really can’t stand Mitt Romney. This may be the most dislike I have ever had for a politician since Palin. I still dislike Palin, I just don’t even care enough to go to the trouble of actively disliking her. And no, this pic doesn’t seem to be photoshopped…Bastard!
that is a disgusting photo!! I will never forget that mitt the liar thinks it is okay to hold up such garbage and hate. As part of the revenge, I need to register some more voters

USA – If a real patriot purchased either ABC, NBC or CBS and actually provide honest, high quality 'news' they'd make a fortune. #OBAMA2012— Bobfr (@Our4thEstate) April 20, 2012
Good evening, TOD family. Polls are in the news again and I ask: What are they really worth? Don’t we know that they can be manipulated in a dozen different ways? I prefer to use my own observations and conversations with people. I talk to a lot of people, both on the phone and in person. I also spend a truly sinful amount of time watching the President’s speeches, interviews and press conferences. There is no way that Mitt Romney comes even close to matching this President in intelligence, drive, sincerity, trustworthiness, ability to connect with people or just plain likeability. There is a huge disconnect between the various audiences’ reactions to the President and the media reports on these events and their equally misleading polls. I am not complacent; I work really hard to make sure my all-time favorite President will have a second term, but I refuse to get all worked up about these worthless polls. The day I see even a single person look at the presumptive Republican nominee the same way that I see hundreds of people look at my President every time he goes anywhere; the day I hear people shout “We love you” a fraction of the time I hear it whenever the President speaks at a townhall or rally or college or wherever; the day I witness the sheer excitement of dozens of people at the mere glimpse of the President’s motorcade when Mr. Romney passes through; the day I am around when a struggling senior citizen or single mother or just laid off worker tells me about his or her distress at the thought of losing what little security they still have and look to Mr. Romney to fight for them – that is the day I will pay attention to the media circus and the polls. In the meantime, I will just continue to make contact with as many of my fellow citizens as time allows and tell them all about the hope I still have, the future that is possible and the vision of one extraordinary man who was chosen by the people to lead this nation at a time of great peril and who is working hard every day to keep their dreams alive.
“In September 2009, after spending a day with Obama in New York to promote a financial-reform bill, Weiner hitched a ride back to Washington on the president’s private plane — and, being Weiner, couldn’t resist giving the leader of the free world some advice on how to achieve health reform,” according to the book.
“‘Mr. President, I think you’re looking at this entirely the wrong way,’ he said. ‘You need to simplify it. Just say that what we’re doing is gradually expanding Medicare,’ ” Draper wrote.
“At least Obama had a sense of humor,” the author added.
“‘Well,’ [Obama] said with a grin after their conversation, ‘Enjoy your last ride on Air Force One.’ ”
Hi Everyone…okay, this may have been posted already…sure is funny so here is the link Mitt v. Cookie Monster Mitt and the Monster: http://youtu.be/ikhti6JyFUM via @youtube

lol.. oh that is just adorable.. I love those toothless young smiles. Beautiful Chips, thank YOU.
although picture of Sexy Adult POTUS would have been okay too… just saying
Good thing PBO has a strong sense of self, and the presence of Spirit to know his kid photos would be making their way around the world…. Pretty sure most of us wouldn’t want these photos published! Hee! How cute is he!
Actually, looking at that little open, free, toothless smile makes you realize just how much confidence this man has. He looks completely un-self-conscious in that picture. Adorable!
Congrats, Sheri!
Completely agree.
LOVE THIS PICTURE…EVEN AS A CHILD PBO ENCOURAGED SMALL BUSINESSES…I’M SURE THE TOOTH FAIRY OPENED THE DOORS ON THIS ONE!….LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!
Frst looks so good on you, sherijr!

Hello?
I’m soooooo close!!!!!
Looking forward to it.
4th
12th, lunchtime is my prize! Yay!
Your consolation prize, japa. Screw chips (and man u)
LOL I felt I was in the desert without water.
we’ve been waiting for you!! How was it?? Isn’t he gorgeous?
CONGRATS aamom – i’m so thrilled for you and envious at the same time!!!
Boy I wish I could be there!
I love these personal accounts! Thanks for reporting back. How thrilling. The crowd definitely seemed to be energized.
oh congratulations aamom… how very cool for you
Hey, aamom!! I was just asking about you!! How was the evening?? Come on, we want every detail.
sounds really exciting!!!!! Good for you – yes I’m with Meta we want to hear every little detail
Vicariously thrilled for you, aamom! Imagining what it would be like to be a crowd with PObama within viewing distance. I got excited when I was in a crowd of 15,000 peeps in Manchester, NH in 2004 trying to see John Kerry. Never did.
Eek.
I know it’s part of our President’s day, and he will be lovely, but I truly don’t care about the Crimson Tide and whether or not they won a “championship!”
HA!
Make the most of every opportunity given, and it might result in an Electoral landslide on November 6.
And then we’ll all be eating dessert! What dessert goes good with victory wine?
Good one—–noticed lots in that area were not happy with the Romney diss. Romney is just clueless, isn’t he? Why would he ever say such a thing anyway? I don’t think he’s that bright or he’s been so sheltered, never knows how to act in any kind of social setting. He’s always so awkward it’s cringe-worthy.
That is awesome.
Beauiful! the Obama team really has a sense of humor.
I love our ‘O Teams’. Smart move. I wish that the team there, in that community, will continue to order bakery goods throughout the campaign just to give the small businesss the business. Who knows, ‘a distastful taste’ can turn into a very ‘tastful and sweet one.’HZ
No, we should send robme, some seven eleven cookies Instead, lol
Why wasn’t Mitt there first thing this morning ordering $100 worth of cookies. For someone who “knows business”, it seems the only thing he sure knows how to do is destroy them!
LOL!! FIGHTING COOKIES WITH COOKIES! WAY TO GOBOTS!
A-M-E-N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#PRESSON
——————————-
http://www.politicususa.com/mitt-romney-immigration-flip-flop/
As I read the last sentence “slipped their clothes off…slipped her clothes off… Slapping my head with both hands. Get out! Get out! The image of the magic underwear on both parties is all in my mind . Now I can’t get it out. Sorry, I have a dirty mind.
You’re a hoot – my mind is feverishly working to eject the image, too…
Miss pat, stop all of the ‘slipping of clothes and ‘slapping body parts’, you know we will be given another label: “The Slipping and Slapping Club of the Dems.” (((((((( Love your humor)))))))))HZ
lolololol
The Candidate Without Pants
“His approach probably worked fine in the era before modern communications. You could tell a crowd in Southern Illinois one thing and a crowd in Northern Illinois another and never the twain would meet. Not so these days, when we can all watch YouTube and read each other’s local newspapers on the Internet. Politicians cannot hide from themselves in the twenty-first century; even if the mainstream media treats them with kid gloves bloggers will not; word spreads, videos appear on You Tube. But Republicans are slow to figure this out, like Bachmann resorting to claiming that recordings of her saying something about an issue were “urban legends” or like Romney, simply pretending he never said any such thing, even as we watch him say it, again and again and again.”
thanks to creole child for sharing this
http://www.politicususa.com/the-candidate-without-pants/
Cause they burned up in the fire.
He just lied. Amazing.
It is amazing that he is lying at the smae time that he says he will always tell the truth. No morals, no values and no core.
It’s psychopathic.
Willard tries to copy President Obama on everything he says, everything he does, goes everywhere he goes—–it’s the most pitiful campaign I’ve ever seen. It’s like some kind of stunt an immature candidate for student council president would do. It’s juvenile and weak.
He is trying to confuse voters by mocking the President!
well he’s doing a piss poor job of that
I think he really is trying to copy the President. Don’t think he is mocking him.
Period. Full Stop.
Gingrich: Romney Is a Liar, But I Could Support Him
http://videocafe.crooksandliars.com/david/gingrich-romney-liar-i-could-support-him
NOTE: As Steve Benen so aptly noted at the time of this interview, it should have been Norah O’Donnell and Bob Schieffer pointing out Mitt Romney’s lies. They just couldn’t bring themselves to do it. Pathetic.
Reports like these leave me with the feeling that reporters are dim bulbs. I wonder if any investigative reporters, who aren’t known nationally like the ones with their dullness on tv all the time, are ever thinking..”I COULD DO A MUCH BETTER JOB THAN THAT!”?
i know civilians are.
Myth: “Except when I’m lying.”
Oh, the NBC poll is out at 6:30! Here we go again!
Yeah – I could do without that poll. Not much happened between yesterday’s polls and today’s polls that we don’t already know. President Obama is awesome. Mitt is a pathetic liar. The media is corrupt and useless. Some people are fast asleep.

Good old Carney–
-
Lol!
Hmmmm…..I’m not quite sure what to think of that, aamom.
Glad you had a wonderful time at the event!
Why is this discussion going on here? Skin shades? Ay yi yi. Talk about losing focus……
Because sometimes in the pictures he looks very light and in other picutres he looks brown skinned. The picture the other day Chips posted with PBO and FLOTUS wearing red, their complexion color is the same. It must be the lighting.
Seriously…
Come on now… it’s not like there’s an entire thread dedicated to her comment.
I actually don’t mind this conversation. It’s not malicious. It’s just curiousity.
“They had NOT…….
It takes alot of trust for Blk folks to talk about shades of color among non-blk folks…..which says alot about this site…IMO
that is a true statement
Thank you doyster3 this discussin on skin shade should STOP pronto we do not need it. yes
let’s stay focus on the ground game.
soooo i guess there should be no more naughty mats either…Mel….
And also being black, I understand oh so well what you’re saying, no offense here, huh! It Is what It Is, plain and simple
yup! I agree
But he turns golden after his Hawaiian vacations. How he tans.
Interesting conversation you all
Actually, PBO is one shade lighter than I and I am a caramel colored. So he was correct when asked why he indentifies himself as AA when he is bi-racial. He looks like someone in my family. And there’s no mistake we are AA.
I love this conversation, I love the color beige, I love President Obama, and I love all you TODObots! See there, that feels right to me!
CALL TO ACTION
If you have State Farm as your insurance carrier, call them and threaten to pull your business
http://www.prwatch.org/node/11439
http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=ALEC_Corporations
This felt great since I know my agent and have given them business for 20 years. It was a much more personal call then one you make to a Congressman or large corporation, insurance agents know you on a first name basis.
Good Grief….we have 7 vehicles with State Farm……5 trucks for our business and 2 cars.
AAA co-ordinates insurance with a group called American Commerce.. It seems to be a good company, and I get a good rate.

You noticed that too?
.
I meant to post this:
hee hee hee

Hispanis maybe Cuban in FL just ask Eva Langorio or Antonio Villarraigosa the mayor of Los Angeles and ME.
It’s official! Ann Romney says women don’t deserve equal pay for equal work and she is he Lilly Ledbetter Act. She said so today: http://www.freewoodpost.com/2012/04/18/ann-romney-why-should-women-be-paid-equal-to-men/
Woah!!! I’m not sure how legit The Free Wood Post is (never heard of it) but if this turns out to be true. They just lost what little bit of the female vote they had left. I guess we need to spread this far and wide. Lawd, I hope someone has video of this!
This is NOT a real quote–This is “almost” news read the header–It is satire–not at all real.
I think that is a snark site.
Before this article goes viral can somebody check it out? if true then the MSM should be inform. and sent
it to Rev A’ RM, LO< Ed. Martin bashir ASP.
Ann Romney is as dumb as a post. This should go viral and not be dropped until after PBO wins in November. What planet is this woman from. I have worked for 48 years and damn well better be paid what a man by my side is paid. If not there would be hell to pay.
Unfortunately I think this is some sort of snark site because the media would have picked up on this by now.
OMG!!! Me thinks that the hair bleach has gotten to her brain. Put her out to pasture………….PLEASE!!!
Me thinks, the Military is Worn out in Afghanistan, starting to make Grave errors.
Now, a Blackhawk just crashed, 4 dead!
Every day, their is something horrific over there!
CBS said causalities aren’t confirmed yet. I’m hoping they’re ok!
Fret not, for there will be no Romney presidency. He will be using these next 200 days coming up with his concession speech.
Thank you.
Debbie-Wasserman Schultz is a prime example!
I should have said, visible on tv. I know he’s been out working with OFA.
When he first ran for governor in 2009, I thought he would be a terrible choice. But after four years of Vaginal Probe,Terry looks like a gift from God.
BILL MOYERS ESSAY: Who Pays for Political Ads?
————————————
March 30, 2012
Great efforts are underway both locally and nationally to keep secret the identities of people and organizations paying for local political advertisements. But Americans can still do something, even when broadcasters shirk their responsibilities. In this essay, Bill Moyers suggests
what you can do to bring those names to light.

BILL MOYERS: TAKE ACTION
—————————————-
“Yes, democracy’s in trouble, but what can I do about it?” We know the difficulties can seem insurmountable. But organized action, joining with others to face our times and challenges, can make a difference. Below are a variety of initiatives dedicated to tilting the balance of power. Suggest your own ideas and remember Margaret Mead’s wise words: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

Does anyone beside me find Wolf Blitzer annoying?
Hopefruit, I can’t stand to look at Wolf Blitzer and hear him talk. He totally irks me. I never watch any of his commentary.
Poor Wolf!!! Hubby watches him for a half hour each day just for the laughs. Wolf always sounds like he’s in crisis mode.
Why is he still on the air? He should be the next to get the axe…maybe that’s why he’s acting stupid and saying dumb things so people will watch him continue to make a fool of himself.
He is still living off his reporting from Baghdad during the first Gulf War. That is how he got his own show and once a show is gotten, it is very difficult to remove someone.
Don’t get me started….he grew up in my neighborhood…. We went to the same schools….he was a creepy kid too.
Oh dear. I feel your pain. Hope you didn’t have any nightmares.
hopefruit2, I fine the whole darn network annoying, TeaNN.
WORD!!!!
Actually annie, that’s exactly what I was thinking, but I held back…
CNN’s Chris Matthews…..
I have not listened to him, ever.
Hoperuit2, you are not alone. I too find Wolf Blitzer to be not only annoying but also one o those media who revels in pushing GOP talking points. I am sorry, but I can’t stand him. It’s people like Blitzer who are debasing journalism in America.
Yes, Wolf’s voice annoys me. Martin Bashir, on the other hand, has a calming voice, speaks with clarity, & sticks to the facts. I love that man!!!
THE SORRY STATE OF THE SUNDAY ‘NEWS’ SHOWS
The video included in this post from 2006 will have you shaking your head in total agreement.
——————————————
http://crooksandliars.com/nicole-belle/if-its-sunday-its-conservative-redux
I’m gonna say it again:
don’t start none, won’t be none, Willard.
cause the LAST thing you want the President’s team to decide to do…
is have rallies outside of plants what went out of business AFTER BAIN RUINED THEM.
game on, Willard.
nobody’s playing with you.

So to prove some kind of point about Obama, Romney appeared at an Ohio factory … that closed under Bush.
http://maddowblog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/04/19/11291002-romneys-misfire-on-plant-closings?threadId=3398736&commentId=64828299#c64828299
THE ROMNEY CAMPAIGN IS A HOT MESS
TPM2012
Rubio: I’ll Say No If Romney Asks Me To Join Ticket
Imagine if this was President Obama, with severely flawed people popping out of the woodwork who don’t have a chance in the world to actually become Vice President (who don’t stand much chance of being re-elected to their own positions, in fact), declining any potential offer to be first in line to take over as Leader of the Free World. Imagine how this would be relayed by the media and their cohorts. We wouldn’t be hearing crickets chirping right now.
Or, he saw the polls that show Romney does even worse in Florida if Rubio is on the ticket and doesn’t want to hurt is image, what there is left of it.
Holy heck.. did you all see this : https://donate.barackobama.com/page/contribute/o2012-obama-clooney-you
Donate TODAY & WIN a chance to meet both POTUS & George Clooney.. together, omg. REally
I would die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How in the Hell is anyone suppose to eat in front of the two finest men in America. Shoot!!!!
I’m off to donate. I’ll worry about the eating part when I win!!
Okay I got so flustered I thought it was a dinner
Oh, don’t worry, when my guest and I get there, we’ll be having dinner with GC and PBO.
It IS a dinner. Heard on the radio that Clooney is saving seats at his table for two winners and their guests.
I know- theres not a chance in heck I’d actually eat anything.. drool possibly yes. I mean, really these two are my most favorite men (after my sons of course) . And yes I did indeed donate.. unable to resist.
I just got this in the email. Aww hell yeah, I just donated. I wants to meet Clooney so he could maybe introduce me to Idris Elba!!!

Off to the showers…
I’ll leave you to yours, Lamh35; you leave me to mine…
oh yes.. I’d want to see him too.. maybe we should suggest this to OFA-
Who cares. Now if it was FLOTUS and Jill Biden, that would be worth donating for.
oh I’d go for a chance to see them too.. I’d love to just sit, have a coffee and a chat w/ either one of them. Two wonderful human beings.
That’s right,Japa! They need two promotions. The last time I donated was in response to FLOTUS’ appeal.
Oh, snap!!! Seriously, this should be ladies only. No offense, fellas.
If only I could have a chance to be in the company of the two most debobair men on the planet. PBO is my fave though.
mine too… but I admit I’ve love George longer.. years and years- I love his politics.
someone wrote that Bashir went all in on Willard and his lying today…
if someone gets the video, please post the link.
He read quotes from the the Book of Mormon where it talks about lying.
Tep, Martin Bashir, was dead on It, he’s so thorough, now he’s a true Journalist
I just enjoy watching and listening to him, he’s great.
Tep=yep, guess my fingers are too fat here, dang
Could someone please explain to me why we need to see two broadcasts of Hardball with Tweety everyday? I would love to see Martin Bashir on later so more people could see his show. He’s terrific. He just makes sense.
In the minds of the brass at MSNBC he is the biggest star on their station. Folks continue to watch his show at 5 and 7 so it reinforces the brasses assumption that he is the golden boy.
Me too Ladyhawke. I would love to see Bashir and RevAl on later. I miss them both. I have an opportunity to see the rest of them multiple times.
“Could someone please explain to me why we need to see two broadcasts of Hardball with Tweety everyday”?
I don’t understand either Ladyhawke. I can’t even watch one broadcast of Tweety. All that salivating and spitting on his guests. Personality swings like a broken pendulum.
I don’t understand it.
The FEC audits the 08 Obama Campaign.
WTF? That is a Trick! This smells fishy!
The audit all campaigns….don’t get nervous….they will audit McCain’s too…I remember reading about the monies that are set aside for the audits…
Gibbs is on Jeopardy Friday-
Jeopardy host Alex Trebek visited the White House on Thursday and took an impromptu tour of the West Wing.
So, basically, it’s up to the 2 candidates to get the other three points. My money is on the President!
Christie is so dirty he will never be chosen for VP.
http://www.bluejersey.com/diary/17194/christie-has-lost-the-benefit-of-the-doubt
He also passed on the Murdoch hacking scandal of floorgraphics when he was the State Attorney.
The United States already had one bully VP. Don’t need another one.
Just vote.
“If Mitt Romney chooses New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie for the Republican ticket, he’d find himself in a tie with President Barack Obama”
I don’t think so.
$10,000 bet.
OMG!!! This is an AWESOME version of Whitney Houston’s How Will I Know from the cast of Glee! I’m obsessed with it!

Mark Knoller is managing to get on EVERYONE’s nerves – not just mine!
Chris Matthews just tried to pull that…..I turned him off
Tell him, BWD. What a loser that Knoller is.
these media types are annoying!!!! tell these morons to just use this strange thing called google and they would see HOW MANY TIMES in the past President Obama has used this line. anyone who paid even half of the attention knows it is something Candidate Obama said over, and over, and over,…………………
Besides, we the really question is : “so what if PBO was doing so?? Is this a true or flase statement??? was he or FLOTUS born with a silver spoon??”
Garbage journalism!!!!!!
He is just stating a fact. This doughnut needs to go find a doughnut shop. TMZ journalist is more credible than this tool. And more handsome to boot.
It’s not just Knoller though. TPM had that as a headline earlier. The media Heathers just want to start shit.
Tweety is threatened by PBO and his effusive praise of Clinton is an indirect put down of the current President.
Exactly. And he is always praising JFK. I loved me some JFK but the man is dead and gone. Tweety Bird needs to retire now. He is no longer relevant.
Excellent! I’m guessing because he has a clear conscience and knows he’s doing the right thing every day – thus, no lines in his cute face!
How gray is he? Is it very noticeable in person? And is he skinnier or meatier than in pictures?
I’m told he is much skinnier than in pictures. Taller and skinnier.
YES HE IS VERY THIN! which underscores why his deep voice is so powerful. anyway I’m putting my $1000 rope line money in the layaway for the next time he visits!
“I’m putting my $1000 rope line money in the layaway for the next time he visits”!
lolololololol now you aamom are a die hard supporter.
Aamom become an active volunteer with OFA and when he comes to your town, you can petition to meet him at the airport.
Lol, aamom!
I agree w/ aamom. He’s in great shape.
itgurl, his grey hair is not that bad. He’s very tall…. skinny… beautiful skin (the same with FLOTUS)
Paging Joe Scab and Chucky T
As he has since January, Mr. Obama tops Mr. Romney, the presumptive Republican nominee, by six percentage points in the survey, 49% to 43%, a lead just within the poll’s margin of error. NBC/WSJ
Their were 97 polls today, Joe will pick the worst one!
one sure thing is that the MSM will totally ignore this and keep pushing the line that this mitt the liar is ahead or tied with PBO
The only poll I really give a darn about is the one November 6th 2012.
Tweet him!
Won’t her dirty deed with her body guard be a problem ?
Bashir: The Book of Mormon condemns liars, Mitt Romney
http://video.msnbc.msn.com/martin-bashir/47106146/#47106146
Martin is no joke. Do not get on his bad side.
He’s the best.
Matt Damon just said, he would kiss Bush for the work he did on AIDS!
All well and good, but Bush? Bush? The war Criminal? Really?
Who cares what Damon says ?
How about some positive news once in a while….geesh
You guys are a little to emotional.
I am out of here for awhile!
Peace
“I am out of here for a while!”
Good!!!
Jovie get your arse back here and just do what you do.
I thought Matt Damon was concerned about education? Kiss Bush for the work on aids what are you going to give him for NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND? The Two Wars? Almost bankrupting the U.S.? Devastating the States Budgets across the country?…Arsehole
Jovie, Damon knows where Bush is, go kiss him and while he’s at it go give Cheney a wet one too.
Honestly, I don’t give a dam what Matt Damon said.
Jovie I don’t think Linda meant it that way. I interpreted her comment as frustration at the statement and not you.
We all know you bring all kinds of news. The majority value added. So don’t check out. Stay.
Upthread someone aksed why we can’t have 2 Martin Bahsir shows. I agree

I just LOVE those ‘Republican Family values’, don’t you?
Fewer people registering for Susan G. Komen races

Women have long memories….

How does Tweety keep from having constant whiplash?
Bravo to Martin Bashir. So the Mormon church don’t condom lying. So I guess Romney don’t care what the church think. Mitt Romney think he is above the church. Romney is a man who will say what he has too, he is a bold face liar.
condom lying??
or condone lying? annie that had me in fits of laughterrrrrrrrrrrr

Uberfemme, I suspect Mother Nature loves PBO too.
You’re right! Everytime PBO comes here the weather is gorgeous. It has stayed cloudy since Robney’s visit. Just sayin.
Funny as heck. I can hardly wait for the debates.
Uberfemme, thanks so much for the info. I was out of pocket for a few hours. I’m back in the saddle now. Catching up with my peeps.
I’m tweeting a couple of your sentences. I wish you could tweet more than 140 characters.
Is there any woman in the picture of the Romney Sunday School meeting (it’s sure not a rally!) who doesn’t have long BLONDE hair???
Actually there is one AA woman with brown hair. And one AA man with a bald head. Ugh, I can’t believe I just looked at that pic. I detest rethugs in general, and that one in particular.
How much did they get paid to show up?
took the words right outta my mouth.
E. J. Dionne. . . thank you. You spoke up tonight!
@edshow
Take from the poor to give to the rich, that is the Republicans motto. A bunch of heartless bastards.

dotster3, I am so happy to hear that Ft. Knox cancel that wacko.
these hate-promoting types need to be sent to perform away from the armed forces where they threaten and disrespect the Commander-in-Chief.
rush also needs to be dropped from Armed Forces Radio
Good evening everyone! Working late tonight. Ugh!
Hey, I’m watching a stream of Ed Schultz’ show and Martin Bashir is on!! First time I’ve seen Martin in the primetime.
I’m wondering if this might be a precursor to moving Martin to primetime — maybe take over the 7PM slot of Tweety’s?
If they move Bashir to Tweety’s 7PM slot, I would WATCH! There’s no reason Tweety should be on at 5 AND at 7PM.
Agree, agree, agree.
I happened to switch to Rachel Maddow for a short time and she is actually saying (summary of her comments) — Republicans and Conservatives are Pro Gay Rights and they are leading the charge on gay equality and President Obama and his administration are not.
Chickie has issues. That.is.all.
I had turn the tv from Rachel to watch the Bulls and Heats basketball game, so I didn’t hear Rachel.
hahahhahahhahahahahahahhahahhahahahahhahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahhahhahaha!!!
Andrew Kaczynski
@BuzzFeedAndrew
fucker.
that is a disgusting photo!! I will never forget that mitt the liar thinks it is okay to hold up such garbage and hate. As part of the revenge, I need to register some more voters

Oh look – at least California is getting a clue:

State ethics czar wants disclosure when campaigns pay bloggers
Interesting read about the ass that is Weiner.

This part made me LOL….
