The only disappointment was that former Rep Patrick Murphy lost to Kathleen Kane for AG. Meanwhile, PBO has more votes that almost the entire GOP field in PA. Willard still is not getting over 60% despite him being declared the presumptive nominee since three weeks ago!

New poll has Robney up only 7 in Texas-
Romney also came out on top in head-to-head polling with President Obama, with a 50 percent-43 percent advantage. Obama had more support among Latinos, leading Romney 56 percent-34 percent, and among young voters with a 57 percent-35 percent edge.

So POTUS leads Romney by 10 in New Hampshire and it’s a toss-up. But Romney leads POTUS by 7 in Texas, the republican version of California, and it’s safely repug for the general election. Give me a break. If a 10 point lead is a toss up, so is a 7 point lead. Especially when that 7 point lead is a state where Romney should be leading by a good 20 points.
That is my point! Maximize the young vote and Hispanics, which is WHY Robney is pandering to both groups.

This week, the president will visit with some of his most important constituents — young people. These voters are looking at issues like education reform, the current job market and the economic recovery efforts. As President Obama and students across this country know, the clock is ticking because unless Congress acts, interest rates for new subsidized student loans are set to increase on July 1. Speaking for my fellow students, we can’t afford for this to happen. Fortunately for this group — American college students — the president is a strong advocate on our behalf.
As a senior at the University of Texas in Austin, the state’s largest research university, I have seen the power of a publicly funded education system firsthand. The president has doubled our investments in Pell Grants and has worked to reform the student loan programs supported by the Department of Education making higher education a possibility for first generation college students.
Both President Obama and the first lady have felt the heavy burden of student loans and worked hard to pay them off; the president’s decision to cut out big banks, who he recognized were unnecessary middlemen, saved over $60 billion that is now helping other students afford college. He’s also providing more student debt forgiveness; instead of making payments for 25 years, responsible Americans will have their student loans forgiven after 20 years. President Obama believes that Americans should get a fair shot at an affordable college education and his strong record proves that.

Please try to post the whole speech here in Colorado!! I wished I could have been there. Couldn’t wait to see it on the news. I picked the wrong channel–channel 4 here in Denver. Their political reporter Shaun Boyd barely reported on it. The way she showed it was about 15 sec. of the President and then 3 minutes of people who supposedly worked on his campaign in 2008 and now are too disappointed to vote for him. BS. That reporter is always so biased. I would love to get close up pictures of these “disappointeds” and then see if they are being shipped around the country to every event. From what I could tell there were people who got in line two days ago in order to get tickets. The stadium was at capacity cheering and giving standing ovations, but Channel 4 reports on a small group of negativity. It makes me so sick. Shaun Boyd should not be allowed to report. I have sent messages numerous times. She is always biased.

A case in point, this fan of PBO, was too excited that she dropped her yogurt and it splashed on President Obama’s trousers and also some landed on one of the Secret Service Agent’s leg. This event happened while POTUS was greeting people outside The Sink in Boulder and that is why he made joke about it during his speech.

BOULDER, Colorado — Even the most powerful man in the world cannot avoid the occasional food spill.
President Barack Obama was meeting and greeting outside popular local restaurant The Sink, in Boulder, Colorado, on Tuesday night when a girl spilled yogurt on him, CBS News’ White House correspondent Mark Knoller reported.
“Ooops. A girl spilled yogurt on Pres Obama as he was shaking hands along a ropeline outside The Sink. She apologized,” Knoller wrote on Twitter.
“Getting yogurt on the president — you’ve got a story to tell,” Obama told the girl, who replied, “I’m very embarrassed,” according to Knoller.

I’m listening to some of these Republicans and they are saying in order not to let the rates go up, there have to be cuts made some where else. I know how it could have been paid for, cut out the billion dollars subsides for the big oil companies. But they wouldn’t dare do that, that is why they are phony as hell when they talk about cutting the debt.
The president is rocking the Jimmy Fallon show; he is owning it. Jimmy is so cute in his nervousness. He seems awe-struck, as if he cannot believe that he is doing this. It was more than worth it to stay up. This appearance by PBO is better and more fun than any other that h has done on shows like this. Okay, commercial is almost over. I commented before reading the other observations. Will check everyone out when the show is over.

Tonight Democrats in PA put themselves in a good position to win a lot of seats in the state house, which will put a crimp in Corbett’s ugly style. We also sent some conservadems packing in strong D districts. My only regret of the day is the Patrick Murphy’s loss. He would have made an outstanding Attorney General if elected.

The pro-Obama super PAC Priorities USA Action and the League of Conservation Voters are teaming up on a seven-figure ad campaign branding Mitt Romney as the oil industry’s “two hundred million-dollar man.”
The Obama-sanctioned super PAC and the powerful environmental group will spend $1 million to air the anti-Romney ads in Colorado and Nevada, a strategist familiar with the campaign said.
“He’s the $200 million man and big oil’s fingerprints are all over him,” the script says. “Big Oil’s pledged 200 million to help Mitt Romney, and Romney’s pledged to protect their profits and billions in special tax breaks.”
