If we’re so great at politics, how is it that a distinct minority of the population can come to dominate the policymaking apparatus in a democratic republic for an entire generation?
The answer is, we help them. We actually do more to damage our own prospects than they do. They don’t win, we lose.

I am still all puzzle with this CBS/NYT poll. I would like for these people to explain the question they asked, who they asked, Republican,Democrat, Independent, etc.,etc., All of a sudden women voters have jump ship and gone to Romney, well why is that? Romney and the Republicans policies have not change, and the reason the President had such a lead was because of these policies. From now till the fall I am not paying any attention to these polls coming out every other week, number one because I don’t trust the media. CNN says the President has a 16 point lead with women, CBS/NYT says Romney leads among women 46-43. And watch how the CBS/NYT poll will get all the attention.
Another thing I was thinking of, I can not understand how any black pastor would tell anyone to not vote for President Obama. it’s a pro-republican/nut bagger poll. I personnally don’t pay much attention to what the ‘polls’ say. They never regulate them so you’ll never know who they really poll and how honest they are about the findings. It’s also real easy to fudge the numbers to reflect their beliefs/opinions.

I’m not uncomfortable OR surprised by this poll – in fact, I anticipated that most- if not ALL the “polls” this week would be suddenly showing Romney doing better than PBO. I also believe that most of the pro-Romney polls of late are MANUFACTURED by subtly tinkering with the sample.
When gas prices were up the media (and their pollster friends) manipulated the polling samples to push a “high gas prices hurting Obama” narrative. They decreased the number of Democrats and increased the number of Republicans. In April, right after the Hillary/Rosen flap, they again tried to push a poll that PBO was hurt by Rosen’s comment – this time they made sure to not overtly mess wit h the R’s and D’s, but to change the types of D’s they were polling, with mostly conservative, evangelical white D’s and fewer urban, non-christian or minority D’s.
Now that he announced his support for SSM, the same media/polling outfits are back again, trying to push a narrative that his position on SSM is hurting him. The NYT/CBS poll again used a skewed conservative sample and did not even provide the racial breakdown of the sample. This gallup/USA poll is to be taken with the appropriate amount of salt. IT’s BOGUS – it’s all media driven and should be summarily ignored or challenged.

The polls are ridiculous ……this is getting dumb. There is NO WAY Willard is ahead with women.
They should be laughed at……the inside the beltway pundits should be nominated for Razzy Awards.
Tony Perkins Focus on the Family is listed as a HATE GROUP….yet we see his face on every news channel …every day and he is treated like some kind of important political person.

HAHAHA..which is it media? Last week and up to yesterday you told us that PBO would lose Black supporters because of SSM. Now you tell us that Blacks have shifted 13% in favor of SSM in just one week since PBO’s announcement? Which is it? Stick to one narrative, please.

It was just hilarious watching Joe Scar and Chucky trying to find 270 for a Romney win – that was a good one.
So, Da Blacks and Da Women love Robney, they just love Him.

One thing about these polls! Nationally, they are unfair. Here is how. In the ruby red Systes, the President is down 40-60 points. But in these red Stares, you can only Lise once.
In the blue States the President wins anywhere from 2-20points.
So, these national polls are frivolous, and easily augmented by polling more indes in the South, than the North. One thing is for sure, the Ruby Red South, hates the President! Reason? You know why? Racism, hate radio, smears and Fox News!

It’s funny! The Ny Times said that they wanted the President to go even further and think that Gay Marriage should be Federal.
But, Today they are saying their Poll says that the Presidents announcement on Gay marriage is dubious. You can’t have it both ways.

I hope people on TOD remember that someone issued this warning last tuesday : because of PBO’s announcement in favor of Same Sex Marriage, we should expect polls to come out during the next few days showing that suddenly PBO is loosing his support. my caution to you all is to focus on whats ahead and hang on tight for the bumpy ride.
Yes, we have to work like PBO is 20 points behind because the hate and big money machines are not yet in overdrive but they will come out
