I know – I find myself smiling at my computer monitor… He seems to really love this stuff! Which is good, because he’s going to be doing it for another four years.

It’s just a shame that President Obama couldn’t have enjoyed a little camaraderie at the NATO summit, when he was being such a fine host. He just sat in the corner looking sad. It was a shame the others didn’t want to chat him up or get their photos taken with him. Lonely guy.
Don’t you just hate the way he brings such darkness to the room? How he’s never the center of attention, always biting his nails and looking awkward? If he only had just a snippet of charisma……He should work on that awful smile, too.
He could learn a lesson or two from Willard- the master of charm, charisma, etc..
Maybe Mitt can teach him about hair gel, too. And as for style – send President Obama a picture of Mitt in those jeans, to show him how a “real man” should wear his mom-jeans. Sheesh!

Who drives me crazy are the Americans who do not get that he is fighting for them. Instead, they hang on to pettiness and small-mindedness. I do not get it. My friend says, “that’s because you do not get hate.”
That’s so true. I always wonder if the haters of PBO were very sick and he offered them assistance if they would turn it down based on their principles.
Now, here’s my pettiness, I would think about stepping over them, that’s why I’m not in public office. I find a lot of people too sanctimonious for me.

Andrea Mitchell and Chuck Todd——what a dynamic duo!—–gag! First Andrea starts her show by showing Obama throwing the football at Soldier Field and says President Obama tries a “hail Mary”—-what?—-but is the Obama team guilty of being too rough on Bain??? And now Todd and Mitchell, that comedy duo, are talking about how the protests have really ruined this NATO summit for Obama and Chgo—–what???—–all news reports say the exact opposite, saying all went off with minimum confrontation or number of disturbances. Now Andrea is saying what a disaster that there was no agreement with Pakistan—-or something—-always looking for some darkness to report while ignoring all the positive. Todd did report that Obama people not at all pleased with Cory Booker’s “deep thoughts” he shared yesterday, and that Booker had a little help with his decision to “explain” what he meant. Now she’s asking Axelrod about the Booker fiasco and what he considered nauseating. Axelrod said Booker heard from a lot of people for his major f-up. Axelrod saying he loves Booker, if he’s ever in a burning bldg. he would want him near, but in this case he is “just wrong”. Andrea refuses to give up and asks if these attacks on Bain are “fair”.
That’s all I can take. Oh, and Axe said Chgo did great with the security for NATO protests. It’s like someone has to walk right behind Andrea correcting everything she says.

So we are supposed to ignore Romney’s job performance as governor. And not mention the fact that RomneyCare was the template for ObamaCare. All that leaves is Bain and the 2004 Winter Olympics. Now there’s a hefty resume for the Oval Office. Romney seems to forget he is running against a sitting president, not a first term U.S. senator. The lack of experience meme just won’t work this time.

The larger point, of course, is that we’re looking at a campaign dynamic without a modern precedent, especially for a governor running for the White House. In 2000, George W. Bush said, “Look at what I did in Texas.” In 1992, Bill Clinton said, “Look at what I did in Arkansas.” In 1980, Ronald Reagan said, “Look at what I did in California.”
And in 2012, Mitt Romney is saying, “Look at what I did at Bain Capital.”
You know there’s a problem for Romney when his own top surrogates struggle to defend his record in Massachusetts — his only experience in government — during a Fox News interview.
Indeed, let’s also not forget that Jon Huntsman, who’s endorsed Romney, said through his campaign last summer, “The reality is Mitt Romney’s record on job creation was abysmal by every standard.”
