Compare any of the pics where PBO is speaking to those where Romney is speaking, and it’s not too difficult to see that PBO’s groups look like a slice of the American society while Romney’s don’t. As a POC, I wouldn’t feel comfortable attending a Romney event.

Our OFA team held a phone bank last night contacting Iowa Dems inviting them to this event. I made 45 calls, reached 10 folks who all said they would vote for PBO – but none of them were going to the rally. When I saw the rain I got a bit worried. Now seeing the pictures and watching the video chant of 4 more years I feel like it was worth all the calls. Relieved again, this blog can be so soothing….

I’ve been in NOLA the past 3 days (Sun evening to Wednesday night) and I didn’t really watch any one political show, even the ones I like. I still stayed up to date on twitter and the interweb, but no Maddow, Ed, or Lawrence. It was a great 3 days, so I will endeavor to continue that black out of political shows.
