Thank you , thank you, thank you, and no I don’t sit on my….well ok yes, this time I just Happen to be on the computer and switched back here and there was a new post. I am just lucky, that’s all.
Ohhh! MSNBainC is at it again. Mitchel is playing what Robney just said, that the President said the Private Sector is just fine and She has on Tweety to say he is Parsing the Jobs picture.
Here we go again!!! This is all they will play all weekend, every segment 24/7!
Another break from cable!
We anticipated that the MSM would respond in exactly the way you’re describing. In fact, that’s typically how I know that the president’s pressers are effective – when the entire MSM seems to be on a collective anti-Obama meltdown immediately following the session. Cantor and Boehner and Romney all came out immediately after for a reason. They were on the defensive.
The fact that they also pounced on the same issue that the MSM pounced on – which was Obama’s comment about the private sector being fine, also suggests that the MSM/GOP/RNC circulate emails and coordinate their lines of attack. By saying that the private sector is “fine” PBO didn’t just put the GOP in congress on notice, he also put those CEOs in the private company on notice, that he’s on to their tactics of not hiring as much as they could deliberately to hurt the economy, especially since they now have all the tools they need for maximum job creation.
So I don’t think you have much to worry about Jovie – I just keep pushing the truth and challenging the talking points on Twitter. PBO will be fine. The more outraged the media is today and on the weekend, the better I will feel.
Actually, I am quite proficient in English, but my comment was more concerned with your health, as you continue to watch these horrific media shows that do nothing to help anyone’s blood pressure of level of knowledge. I was going crazy myself last week, watching all of it, and finally took a step back and deleted these shows from my DVR – never felt better! They’ll drive you crazy. Nothing but lies and negativity.
I totally turned her ass off, and deleted the recording. Also, off with Alex–she’s off my recording list. Tweety is last on the watch list. As soon as he starts the crazy, off he goes. I now have zero tolerance for B.S. TheObamaDiary is my first stop every morning, and my last stop each night. Truthfully, I get most of the info/links I need from this sight. I hit a few of my favorite blogs each day (Steve Benen, Extreme Liberal, AngryBlackLady, Smartypants, PMCarpenter, The People’s View and ‘What is Working’. ‘What is Working’ has wonderful information regarding programs and innovations. It is truly enlightening, and a feel-good read. No FOX-except through progressive links, No CNN–except weekends. I have given these idiots enough of my time. When my erstwhile friends call with their hair on fire, because they heard some anti-Obama nonsense, I will no longer spend time trying to talk them down. They need to start doing their own research. All I will say is Obama will win, and I already have my ticket to D.C. and a hotel reservation, for the 2013 Obama Inaugural. Any fool who thinks a pathological liar and bully, with no integrity, ethics, character or ideas, should or could have even the ‘honor’ of kissing my President’s ass, no longer deserves my attention.
Spot on! I don’t watch any of it unless there is something I really, really want to hear discussed. I simply cannot subject myself to corporate media, which I clearly know is not reporting to inform but to inflame, confuse and/or depress.
Theo does not want me on Twitter, to many exclamation points!!!!!!!!!
LOL!
You know their is something to be said about having pet peeves and maybe even OCD!
Btw- I am at the Park with my Dog, construction putting in a Solar Heater for my Water.
Seeing how Theo wants to get all personal with me and all!
LOL! Levity is good, it relieves tension.
The funny thing about all of this, I was not even watching msnbainc, I was responding to what my Mother told me, over the Phone.
Thus, this whole discusion is moot.
But, Steve Benen answered my question.
@stefcutter Another day of consistent behavior from the #KOCHSTERS (GOP) – Obstruct economic recovery to harm #PresObama per 20Jan2009 plot.— Bobfr (@Our4thEstate) June 08, 2012
As gaffes go, this strikes me extremely weak tea. The choice of words probably could have been slightly better, but really, to treat this as some kind of breakthrough moment in the campaign is pretty silly. Indeed, what Obama said, in context, is largely correct — compared to the public sector, the private sector really is doing fine.
This isn’t complicated. Corporate profits have soared, the stock market is up, and private sector job growth has fueled the recovery entirely on its own. In fact, private sector job growth last year was the second best year we’ve seen since the late 1990s, and 2012 is on track to be even stronger.
The public sector, meanwhile, continues to be a drag on the economy, laying off workers and cutting budgets. Comparing the two sectors, there’s nothing shocking about saying one is “fine” and the other isn’t.
Thank you Steve Benen… I needed to find out exactly what Robney said, so I could call back my Mither, instead I got mocked upthread!
I should be used to it!

TOD! I just received a phone call from a friend who has invited me to join her business website for the express purpose of educating her clients about what they can do to help re-elect PBO.
It was amazing to me how much is not known out there- things we talk about everyday is just not known!
My friend’s first two questions were about Wisconsin and the super-PAC money. Does Wisconsin spell doom for the November election, and how can we keep people from getting so discouraged about the influx of money that they just give up?
Frankly her call made my day! No matter how shaken she is, she is ready to reach out to her community and inform them.
This is what we need to do. We must become pro-active in every way possible. It’s the only way to fight off the doom and gloom.
Any help or suggestions for my first article will be appreciated.
Also, I am a minister, so I need some guidance about how much I can say without getting into legal problems. This website is not connected to my church, but I still need guidance.
I will be directing the ladies to this site. Thanks Chips and TOD for all you do.
We are going to win this thing. Full. Stop.

I’ve been keeping up with Steve’s Mitt Mendacity series. I have downloaded them all, and send them to people I think can appreciate the knowledge. The trend is growing. Once this starts sticking to Romney, it will take on a life of its own. He will not be able to overcome this basic truth about his lack of character and integrity. It is one of the things that strenghtens my hope. The public loves to wallow in shit. Once the GOP is finally called out by the shallow media, they will be like a dog with a bone. It will be the greatest show on earth.

I posted a response for you in the previous post, Eve. My two cents.
You should also go to What is Working’s website. She has so many resources! That is always where I start.

INFORMATION IS POWER
=====================
I recently sent a note to my distribution list asking everyone to make use of the following resources. I hope this helps.
1 – GottaVote.org (Detailed information on voting requirements for each state.)
2 – Organizing for America (One stop shopping for everything you need to know about the campaign.)
3 – The Truth Team website (Debunking the lies of Mitt Romney and the PACs that support him.)
4 – White House website (Tons of good information here. Always checkout West Wing Week and the Saturday Address)
5 – The Obama Diary
6 – The Only Adult In The Room
7 – What Is Working
8 – Obama 50 Top Accomplishments (http://www.randirhodes.com/pages/rrnews.html?feed=393046&article=9880240)
Good list, though I prefer this list of PBO accomplishments. It has citations.
