Gwinnett Daily Post: A canceled trip to the Georgia Aquarium could have been a downer, but for a group of campers from Lenora Academy in Snellville, it turned into an opportunity they’ll never forget.
The change in plans meant a water day at the Fountain of Rings in Centennial Olympic Park and lunch at the famous Varsity restaurant in Atlanta. Little did they know the President of the United States of America would be joining them.
“We saw all the activity and (were) wondering what was going on,” said Dawn Washington, assistant director at Lenora Academy.
Just after noon Tuesday, the excitement began. “What’ll you have?” Barack Obama was asked as he walked into The Varsity at the start of the lunch rush. He ordered five chili dogs, four hotdogs and a cheeseburger for his traveling staff and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and Reed’s mother Sylvia Reed.
Washington’s daughter, 11-year-old Armonie, got to shake Obama’s hand after a brief chat and photo opportunity, which included other Lenora Academy campers. “It was really cool. I would never expect to meet the president in real life,” Armonie Washington said. Washington said some of the campers were crying tears of joy.

AP: President Barack Obama is ramping up a fresh phase of his re-election bid with a bus tour next week, focusing more on direct engagement with voters and less on ritzy fundraisers.
Obama’s two-day road trip through Pennsylvania and Ohio — both are key battleground states in the November election — kicks off July 5, a campaign official said….
…. The president will still headline campaign fundraisers through the fall, but the official said Obama’s schedule would start to include more of a mix of campaign rallies and other events focused on speaking directly to a wide swath of voters in the states Obama needs most in order to hold the White House.
… Obama’s itinerary for the bus trip was still being finalized, but the official said the president probably would hold events in northern Ohio and western Pennsylvania.

Morning everyone

Woooooot!!! Morning LOL
Morning Chips…Morning All…Up and at em’
Yup….that’s the biggest White Sox Fan. And he’s proud of it.
Good morning.
Tweet of the Day
Like those in the MSM will actually let facts, truth or common sense get in the way of good manufactured BS! Harwood should be talking to his buddies…we, PBO supporters, know the truth.
That can’t be right LOL, I heard different
Added it to the post, thank you!
I wonder if pundits have been as bad in the past as they seem to be now. For instance, Jodi Kantor of the NYTimes said Willard had the best week of any politician last week because of his “successful” bus trip.
Sometimes I wonder if those in the MSM got together and decided that they really wanted to see if propaganda, a la 1984 (somehow I think GO is not pleased), works.
It is mind boggling. And these people are paid big bucks.
The media was terrible in 2008 and 2004 and they tore Al Gore to ribbons in 2000. You have to go back a long way–to the time before cable and 24 hour news for more balanced reporting. But there have always been people who wear blinders and distort information so they can doggedly promote their own side, no matter what the facts. Kantor would have to have blinders an inch think as well as ear plugs to think that ragged mess of Romney’s was successful. But the big bucks she gets from wearing the blinders help lull her to sleep at night.
Oh please, what does Jodi Kantor factually know?
Good Morning everyone in TODville and Chips
I’m concerned about the NASCAR judges on the Supreme Court doing the right thing for 300 million Americans regarding healthcare. Not to mention the 2 Fast & 2 Furious Witch Hunt of the corrrupt unconvicted, criminal, Darrel Issa, using every resouce availabe ; primarly the NRA, ALEC, & Koch bros to taint and embrass our President’s adminstration.
Poor Joe Williams of GOPolitici is doing an interview on Bill Press on Current TV, whom I’m losing more and more respect for, seems so nervous trying to defend himself for telling the truth about Willard the “Myth” Romney.
Politico reporter Joe Williams suspended for Romney comments
http://thegrio.com/2012/06/22/politico-reporter-joe-williams-suspended-for-romney-comments/
I resolve to have a nice day and encourage everyone in TODville to have one too. Our President is the smartest person in the room.
He has something in store to blow the right wing haters minds; I’m sure .
Pathetic, right? Usually people wait for the data then make the assumptions….not so with these “journalists”
LOL. so is what Peter Hart saying is don’t listen to the B.S. from the cable tv pundits, and so call journalists like Chuckie Todd.
Gmorning TODville (waves to Mayor Chips and all the already awake residents).
Moooooooooooorning CJ!
oohh, I made top ten…YAY
Good Morning TOD. I am working the late shift tonight so I can hang around a little today. Hoping for at least a few hours of electricity before any wind blows again.
Infrastructure Gov. Scott
Time for a quick “good morning”. Leaving soon for my weekly visit with my mom. Good friend visited yesterday and emailed last night that she was very weak when she was there.
Stood in the shower and prayed and prayed for our president and for our country. The hate is palpable.
Thinking of you and mom today, tnmtgirl….
Chips,
We are getting Great front page coverage lately, where ever we go.
Me thinks that is very important, might be a game changer!
Hiya Jovie, I’ve noticed that too, often before now PBO’s visits to states were barely mentioned on front pages. Encouraging!
The Gwinnett Daily Post is my local paper…
Don’t read the comments section for that article, though! Don’t know much about this area.
Hi tnmtngirl sending good vibes to you and your mom.
It’s been a bad month for Pundits, maybe their worst ever.
And yet, they ate still on tv!
Good Morning.
I lol this morning….TeaNN only reported on the two lowest numbers for the President in this poll .
Steve Israel says Democratic lawmakers and candidates should skip their party’s convention in Charlotte to spend more time in their districts.
-
Good for Israel, I would have told them to fuck off
PBO is hosting Senators and House members tonight at the WH Congressional picnic. I hope we see another cool photo of that handsome devil Eric Cantor with his neat shades as we did last year.
Bill, it’s early in the morning, but those lying no good radical extremest Republicans shouldn’t even show up. I can’t imagine POTUS and FLOTUS having to waste their time with those people. Double YUKE YUKE
Mitt Romney is on the defensive.
President Obama’s campaign has narrowed its attack on Romney’s experience at Bain Capital into one provocative charge — that Romney personally profited from the outsourcing of American jobs — and argues the presumptive GOP nominee would oversee a similar migration of jobs if elected president.
In the last week alone, Obama’s campaign has called Romney a “corporate raider,” warned voters that the former Massachusetts governor would be an “outsourcer in chief” and derisively dubbed Bain Capital and Romney “outsourcing pioneers.”
http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/campaign-columnists/christian-heinze/234901-bain-attacks-could-reshuffle-romneys-veep-list
The comment section has Trolls, do not read them!
I think I heard Bill Press say that Joe Williams will be on at the top of the third hour to discuss his suspension from Pollute-ico.
Joe is handling himself very well. Sounds as though POLITICO is not going to stand up for him against the Daily Caller and Breitbart’s organization which are after his scalp.
Usually when I see Joe on cable he seems very relaxed. I’m aware he is under a lot of pressure; perhaps that is why Joe seems more nervous as usual to mee. I admire Joe Wiliams for his candor and hope he gets his job back ; especially in these hard times.
Romney backer supports Obama agenda
By Steve Benen
——————————–
So, let me get this straight. A prominent Romney backer in Virginia believes Obama’s right about investing in domestic infrastructure, wants Obama’s highway bill to pass, wants to raise taxes, sees Obama’s stimulus paying dividends in his area, and agrees with Obama on investing in alternative energy.
In fairness, Parker has plenty of criticisms for the president, too, but if prominent Romney backers from private industry see value in Obama’s economic agenda, it makes it just a little more difficult for the Republican to characterize the president’s vision as “anti-business.”
————————–
http://maddowblog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/06/27/12435909-romney-backer-supports-obama-agenda?lite
Here’s what they think: They will use the lies, fear and xenophobia to get elected and then pass all of these bills. That’s the plan. But under a – God forbid – Romney administration regulations will be gutted, unions will be destroyed, education will be privatized as a new cash cow. People will be kicked out of their homes so speculators can move in on the real estate market. They will get a Supreme Court for the next half century that will allow guns everywhere, gut all regulations of any kind, let Wall St. do what they want so that their losses and mistakes will be socialized and their profits privatized.
They wills say infrastructure is their idea, use stimulus to help stadium builders so that the public pays for everything. Government will explode, debt will explode.
There will be no health care reform. There will be no safety net. Jobs will continue to bleed to off shore. There will be no opportunity for people who can’t afford opportunity already. America will be a third world country.
That’s the plan. What they have, however, is a Congress full of crazy vipers who may not be controllable. But no one controls like Republicans control.
Great summary 57. This is truth and what every wishywashy voter has to hear.
Looking forward to the President bus tour next week.
The Bloomberg Channel just said, that if ACA totally struck down, that Health insurers will Rally.
Their you go…
The key word is “totally” which I don’t see happening. There would be (or should be) rioting in the streets if that happens.
In a previous post someone (I think it was Donna?), something to the effect that it will be upheld & maybe that’s why Scalia was having a hissy fit the other day.
As Ginsberg said the other day “Those who are talking don’t know, and those that know aren’t talking.”
Good thing we’re not doing shots w/ any of the guesses!
And there’s your answer on the ruling.
John Nichols said on the radio the other day — whatever corporate America wants, that’s how this SC rules. Sure, it was a victory for us for the AZ law, but that was incidental: corporations did not want a patchwork of different paperwork and criteria concerning immigrant workers, so this is what they wanted. And of course, they want the undocumented worker anyway.
Cable news should be ashamed of itself. Pundits should be ashamed of themselves. Why? Because local news is kicking their collective asses. I’m in college and part of the media defined young demographic of 18 – 29 I believe….. so I get a lot of my news local, national, and international online and mostly watch local news for the weather – heck, 99% of the time I get my local weather from our weather guy who tweets on twitter – but shame on me! I’ve been watching more local news on TV as the election ramps up and my local news is doing a great job of reporting the news.
Today, they had a segment about student loans and the transportation bill and they didn’t try any false equivalency BS. They reported who was at fault. They laid out the facts that Pres. Obama for months has been talking about student loans, the deadline on the interest rate spiking, and the transportation bill. They showed footage of him going to various college campuses to talk about student loans, they talked about how he has been pushing congress hard to do something about student loans, how he’s encouraged college students to be proactive in the fight for student loans. They pointed out that if a solution isn’t reached on the student loans and transportation that satisfies everyone, that Pres. Obama is not to blame. They made sure to emphasize that. They also made sure to emphasize that Democrats are not to blame. They rightfully put the blame on the GOP; especially the tea party members of congress. They made sure to point out that the GOP, especially the tea partiers have been obstructing everything the President and the Democrats are trying to do, that whenever a genuine plan comes together, the tea party republicans ruin the deal because they don’t agree with the method of payment. That they are trying to gut everything just like they did during the debt ceiling. It was wonderful to watch.
The local newscasters didn’t interject their opinions, I don’t know if they vote Democrat or Republican. It was just lay out the facts to the audience and inform them of what’s happening on Capitol Hill. I duff my hat to them. I’m going to make sure to call, email, or tweet them and the producers about the fantastic focus on the issues that affect students, graduates, parents, and in terms of the transportation bill; construction workers. It was top-notch reporting without the jargon of punditry.
Morning Chips and everyone,
I can’t believe what I’m reading UT…..it’s good to know!….I didn’t think there was a difference between local news and MSM….no false equivalency BS?…..Ha!
Wow! Imagine that–straight reporting. It’s like fresh water on a parched desert. We would be such a better country if real news were reported. But people DO look at and read local news, so it’s a good sign that there’s some truth somewhere.
Thanks for this terrific update UT. Please tweet this comment to Lis Smith. I think everyone at OFA needs to see this important feedback. And for anyone who wants to get in touch with their local newspaper or tv station, check out the website below:

UT, that is one of the reasons why POTUS goes directly to the local stations and invite them to the WH , why he gives interviews with them. The MSM knows exactly what the Republicans have been doing, but they will try to blame both side, instead of telling the truth. That’s why I don’t listen to them. CNN ain’t worth watching, MSNBC isn’t either, except for Martin, Rev.Al, sometimes Ed and sometimes Rachel.
GM folks. ACA ruling today ?
Morning amk, Jeez I nearly forgot – today was the prediction alright, wasn’t it?
No. Thursday.
Hiya amk…wie geht’s?
I think it is tomorrow.
GM Chips, CJ, Bill.
Isn’t tomorrow supposed to be the last working day and I read somewhere that they don’t release decisions last day ? But then who know what nutty court will do ?
Jovie pointed out the insurers are on the side of admin. Is it because of the mandates (since it gives them assured business) ?
Good morning, amk and TODville. Decision will be tomorrow.
Forgot to say, always released at 10am Eastern.
Thanks meta.
No! The insurers would rally if it is struck down!
Meaning, they would be happy without a Law.
Some Bloomberg pundits said it’s because of the medical/loss ratio.
Yes, they can skip out on paying billions on the 85% rule.
Again, the key is totally. If only the mandate is struck down, the insurers will not be happy. They approve of the mandate being there if the rest of the law is left alone.
Thursday . they only release cases on Mondays and Thursdays. And they already said it would be released on Thursday, the last day of their session.
Did any of the cable Channels mention the good polls, or discuss them until every right wingers threw up?
Saw part of the Romney speech on the news this morning – and here’s what I don’t understand (yet another thing) about his supporters.
Mitt (more or less): Under PBO, the economy has tanked and we are going to fail!
Audience: YAY!!
Me: WTF kind of reaction is that?
Same as when we did not get the Olympics in Chicago. Yay! Sigh!
Oh Brother! Santorum is going on a thank you Bus trip thru Iowa. Narcisstic much?
PBO kicks off two-day bus tour of Ohio and Pennsylvania on Fourth of July.
And let’s not forget, Malia’s birthday is July 4th!!
The beauty will be 14 years old. Can you believe it? Our proud POTUS will sigh.
it’s my birthday as well……..my passion for politics and President Obama is well known to everyone who knows me, family, friends, coworkers…but every year, no fail, there’s always a few who will say to me, after wishing me happy birthday: ”hey you know it’s a big holiday in the States, it’s Independence Day”
Yea I think I know that lol
It never made sense to me that they feel the need to remind me but I think it’s funny.
I’ve know that since I was like 8….haha,…
Well, thank you for you interest in our country and your passion for President Obama. It means so much to us that the world recognizes what a superior leader and kind person he is.
Hey, did you know that Marvin Nicholson, the President’s body man is from Canada?
http://www.canada.com/victoriatimescolonist/news/story.html?id=586391e3-c3cb-4fe1-89d6-653016efdd5d
He’s such a great guy and one of my favorites. So rest easy, you have a Canadian at the elbow of President Obama!
I didn’t know that meta, thanks for the link!…..
My sons’ grandfather on their father side was born in Massasuchets (can’t never spell it right), he moved to Canada in his 20′s and had duel citizenship, he was a real American at heart….he was a nice man. There’s still a lot of distant relatives from that side of the family who lives in the States
And yes superior and kind leader is right…..he’s remarkable…….if the States was the size of Belgium and had no nuclear power….the interest of the world would be difference hey? ……it’s a superpower and nobody in their right mind want right wing extremists to run the country…it’s very scary and the impact on the country and the world would be devastating. That’s why there’s so many who work for the reelection of President Obama all over the world…..
I have no doubt that Romney is a RW extremist. There’s many people who still think he is a moderate who only play to the crazy base but no….he pretended to be moderate to get elected as gov…..the little that we know about his past is not reassuring to say the least, bullying, animal cruelty, heartless corporate raider, etc……..dangerous sociopath
New Quinnipiac polls find President Obama with leads in the important battleground states of Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Florida: Obama 45%, Romney 41%
Ohio: Obama 47%, Romney 38%
Pennsylvania: Obama 45%, Romney 39%.
Said pollster Peter Brown: “If he can keep those leads in all three of these key swing states through election day he would be virtually assured of re-election.”
http://politicalwire.com/archives/2012/06/27/obama_leads_in_three_key_battlegrounds.html
No matter how much corporate media protect and promote Willard, the polls indicate that their lies and propaganda is not working as well as they wish huh?
I was very pleased to see yesterday that the majority still blame Bush for the economy…
The Republicans will focus on the fact that PBO is below 50%. Unfortunately for Romney, the fact is he has to win over undecideds who really aren’t paying much attention yet and we all know hat happens the more people get to know him. He may, at best be able to add 5% to the figures he has in those states.
Jap, Romney is not a mystery. Undecideds knew him from the ’08 run. Didn’t like him then, most certainly does not like him now. If anything, they realize that he is a total screw-yuck!
Barclays to settle with CFTC 200 million dollars, largest civil penalty ever!
But…
Hey TODers, i don’t post much, but i wanted to share with you a thought I had today. I’ve worked the last 8 years in our home mortgage industry. its seen a lot of changes lately, in large part to out PBO and his policies that have been passed. I wanted to bring you a couple highlites that show how our pres works hard for us, sometimes behind the scenes.
1)sales has to give you the best rate/product for YOU, not whats best for their commission
2) increased disclosures concerning the costs involved, can’t increase fees at the end of the process, has to match these disclosures
3)HARP- this is a big one, tho it hasn’t been perfect, and there is more work congress can do, but everytime i close one of these loans, i can’t help but think i’m helping PBO to pass a mini stimulus. without this plan many upside-down middle class families wouldn’t be able reduce their rates and save $100s/mo.
of course, i’m sure these things and more would’ve been done under a republican president too… yea right.
it would be the opposite, more fees, less disclosure, and more foreclosures, so lets continue to move forward!
Kyle, thanks for that info. Post more often with that kind of encouraging news.
Wow. How do I tweet this information?
I don’t tweet, but there must be a way to condense each of those points to 140 whatevers.
One way you can do this 57andfemale is you can click on the # to the right of his comment and it will give you the link to his comment and then you can post the comment on twitter.
Thanks, Donna! I didn’t know I could do that!
This working for a living b.s. is getting in the way of what I want to do with time.
Thank you, Kyle:) I agree with japa…post more often so we can all share the real time accomplishments of all that PBO has poshed for and gotten done. I hear the housing market is rebounding…..
That should be PUSHED
Texas GOP Platform Calls For Repealing Voting Rights Act Of 1965 |
The Republican Party of Texas released its platform this month, calling on Congress to repeal the landmark Voting Rights Act of 1965. “We urge that the Voter [sic] Rights Act of 1965 codified and updated in 1973 be repealed and not reauthorized,” the platform reads.
Texas is one of nine states with a history of racial discrimination that must get clearance from the Department of Justice before altering its voting laws.
TPM Livewire
Good grief they’ve entirely lost their minds.
I just listen to VP Biden speech yesterday and he did a outstanding job. I was not planning to listen to him, but I couldn’t stop. Love that VP of ours.
GM all. I agree Anniebella – I just watched Biden’s speech so forgive me if this has been discussed in previous posts but Joe was unbelievable. He made the case against Romney so perfectly and forcefuly. He is fantastic and so likeable. I was cheering. The message seems to be getting tighter and more focused. i love that the campaign has basically told Wall St Dems like Rendell, Booker etc to F … Off. The O’s are right on Bain – keep hitting. I hope the Pres talks up the transportation bill before the new job numbers are released at the end of the month. If they are on the low side people must be reminded of who is blocking progress and any panic or anger about soft job gains should be directed straight to the Repubs..
Joe is perfect for the VP’s role of attack dog. PBO has to avoid getting too much down in the mud, but Joe is willing to go there. And I expect a lot more from the VP debate this year. Joe had to be somewhat careful not to come off too condescending to Palin (unfortunately) buit against a male VP candidate he can really sink his teeth in.
Yes – that’s so true Japa. Now Joe will be unleashed. Hi is so great – I always get a little irritated when the PBO advisors get cross with Joe for some slip up and take him to task. He is so likeable – I don’t think they quite realise how much everybody likes Joe. And I think that he and the Pres make a fantastic team. I love seeing photos of them laughing together.
The pundits may make fun of his gaffes, but Joe will make his own jokes about them and people relate to that. Who hasn’t made a gaffe at some time or another?
Listen to Robney camp explain the polls?- spin Master-
http://thepage.time.com/2012/06/27/the-romney-perspective/
Delusional…..he said “If the election were held today, Obama would lose.”….yea right. …..I can’t wait for the debates!!
Palin, I mean Romney can’t get away with not taking positions on anything till November……it’s impossible.
Kaiser Merkel still afraid to do what this President Had to do with TARP and Stimulus.
Because, She is afraid of bad politics in Germany.
What a leader? Not!
She sucks…
The president is fighting rumors and distortions more than he is Robney in this campaign. Yesterday I talked with two Latino canvassers who work our Hispanic wards every week. They are running into a buzz saw with the president’s support of gay marriage and are finding that homophobia runs deep in some areas. Also the rumor about the president implanting a chip under every one’s skin as part of the health care act continues to persist. However, not one person would ever consider voting for Romney. Not one. They may not vote, which is the real problem we have to confront, or, if reasoned with, will vote if we keep reminding them and flushing them out on election day, but Romney would get no traction here. When our canvassers point out that a non vote is the same as a Romney vote, many are turned around. In the same vein, I encountered a whiny Dem the other day who started in on her Obama complaint with “I didn’t like what the president said about.”…. I said you think Romney would do better? And, as predicted, she said she would never vote for Romney and fully intended to vote for the president. It is at this point that my patience really gets tried. As our Latino canvasser said to a voter, “so you don’t agree with everything the president says, so what? I don’t agree all the time with anyone, even my wife. But you weigh the good over the bad and you stick with them.” That’s pretty much what I told the whiner and she finally agreed and walked away.
This election is all about getting the reluctant to the polls. The Repubs have a lot of money and they’re willing to cheat like hell, but at the end of the day they have a miserable candidate who does not like a single spark, let alone a fire. Right now people are still sucking on sore thumbs about this or that little slight, or statement, or thing they wish the president had done differently. I think that thumbsucking is going to decrease as the campaign excitement builds. Our job is to convey that sense of excitement, buzz and energy to everyone we meet. Never, never, never appear discouraged no matter what the rumor or setback du jour. Rouse the Dems, persuade the Indies, and bring along a few Republicans if you can. We’re the president’s front line troops and we won’t let him down.
Implanting a chip under one’s skin?? I didn’t hear that…….insane rumor
My GOP leaning sister-in-law who heads a hospital lab mentioned the chip under the skin to me. It was when I was talking about computer records helping my own and my Mom’s billings. I saw something afterwards that explained that in the brainstorming portion of a healthcare meeting it was brought up but not put into the bill. What I hear a lot is everyone’s fears of what can happen so they prefer what they have instead of what might be. The typical reluctance to change in my viewpoint. I like the old Dr Phil phrase “How’s that working for you?” as a reply to the old system of healthcare.
Brilliant analysis and very interesting information – thank you Jackie.
And a perfect way to respond to those who say they are thinking of not voting: “A non-vote (and I would add a vote for a third party candidate) is the same as a vote for Romney.”
I’m finding it takes a lot of patience and listening to turn these people around. I give them a chance to air all their reservations and grievances and try my best to listen closely, even though I know it’s just the scare tactics of the right. Then I explain the consequences of not voting. I use as an example the midterms and all the damage that did to women’s rights, stalling of the immigration bill and everything else. I remind them of the economy on January 2009 and without PBO’s stimulus, we’d all be suffering right now and how Romney has said out loud that he’d roll back all the progress we’ve made to favor the wealthiest. I acknowledge their frustration and remind them what’s at stake if they stay home, that it’s not worth it to hold a grudge about a single issue because the bigger picture is we will really suffer under Romney’s values and policies and all the Bush people he’s hired as advisors. The thing that turns them off the most is his obnoxious wealth and favoring of the 1%.
On gay rights, it’s much easier for me here in SF because you can’t live here and not understand the importance of gay rights. Just living here, you either have a neighbor or a co-worker or a friend who’s gay.
Great post jackie. Nice to hear what’s happening in the real world and what should be done to win in nov.
This man: @PowellforVA is running against Eric Cantor. Please, if you use twitter, follow him and tweet his link out. We can do this, we can unseat Eric Cantor.

Thank you Donna. I have yours Meta, Vero’s too! Do you need any of those?
Just watched the Bashir segment with Eugene, Corn and Bernstein. Absolutely hilarious. Thanks for posting.
I agree with this:
Ha…they own Citizens United……the impact on the democracy is devastating…..I hope one day it will be reverse….I don’t know what the decision is about the ACA but that is the most corrupt SCOTUS ever.
“The National Association of Realtors said on Wednesday its Pending Home Sales Index, based on contracts signed last month, rose 5.9 percent to 101.1. The index level matched the two-year high reached in March, while the gain was the largest since October 2011.
Before March, the last time pending home sales were as high was April 2010 when buyers were rushing to beat the deadline for a home-buyer tax credit, which was about to expire, the NAR said.
“The housing market is clearly superior this year compared with the past four years,” Lawrence Yun, NAR chief economist said in a statement. “We’re on track to see a 9 to 10 percent improvement in total sales for 2012.”
http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/06/27/us-usa-economy-homes-idUSBRE85Q0VX20120627
I think much of this is due to the stabilizing of home prices and the beginning of the rise of home prices. People who were waiting for the market to bottom out are starting to buy now before the prices go up too much. This will ultimately lower the inventory of homes for sale which then will cause prices to move upward more. This will ultimately reduce the number of under water mortgages.
Has anyone seen hopefruit2?
Did PBO ever stop by the movie set for “42″ yesterday, like they were hoping? I didn’t see it anywhere, but I don’t have the sources y’all do!

Romney Fails to Mention Inspiring ‘Truck Driver’ Is Billionaire Super PAC Donor
Forbes puts Hamm at number 36 on their list of billionaires in the United States. Earlier this year, he complained to Businessweek that he had not gotten enough attention from President Barack Obama during a White House meeting last year.
“It was like, if you’re in the oil-and-gas industry, you don’t matter,” he recalled.
Last October, he gave the maximum contribution of $2,500 directly to Mitt Romney’s campaign and on April 3 he donated $985,000 to Restore Our Future, a pro-Romney super PAC.
On March 1, the Romney campaign announced that Hamm had been named as the chairman of their “Energy Policy Advisory Group.”
Hamm has since slammed Obama’s energy policy as a failure, even though the Wall Street Journal reported that “almost all” of his wealth was generated during the president’s first term.
So here’s a guy that GOT more profitable BECAUSE of what PBO had done…..idiot
So, now the Media has finally started telling the public, what is in the ACA.
I see!
Heads up for VP Biden:
