So many events going on today, both sorrowful and joyful. That’s life in a nutshell, isn’t it…

What a beautiful soul our President has. Can’t help but cry at his compassion. Some people talk about Christianity, but he enbodies Christianity. May god continue to bless him.

I’ll repost my comment from the bottom of last thread

    My take:

It is clear that whoever lit this powder keg of rage around the Middle East, Asia & North Africa intimately knows the history and the psychology of Middle East unrest. The timing was perfect for exploiting pent up frustrations of people who were beginning to experience the realities of the aftermath of the Arab Spring.

Consider the similarities between events this week and how American’s anger in the wake of the Wall Street debacle were cleverly channeled into the “Tea Party” uprisings that made Pres. Obama the bogeyman.

I am convinced there is BIG MONEY behind the stoking fo the chain reaction in the Middle East. There are powerful interests who do not want the Arab Spring to succeed nor to ALLOW Pres. Obama’s careful nurturing of these fledgeling democracies to take root. If he succeeds then as he promised in Australia last year, American Foreign policy attention will shift away from the Middle East to the Pacific.

    - Who stands to gain if we are embroiled in putting out Foreign Policy fires in the Middle East?
    - Who benefits from the optics of rage in the street around the world on our TV screens?
    - Who wants to destroy Pres. Obama’s claim and prior efforts to have changed American image abroad?
    - Who stands in the way of War profiteers milking the taxpayer for unaccountable military build up?
    - Who wants price of oil to spike up as commodity markets are spooked?
    - Who wants a frightened electorate both at home and abroad, just so it will buy any argument intended to hoodwink them.

Yes it all sounds like Conspiracy Theory, but the TIMING & convergence of events on Sept 11 immediately after conventions where GOP said nary a word about our troops only to trot out neo-cons belching war & ridicule, is simply too much, to be random.

I firmly believe chits are being cashed, favors being called, old underground agents being summoned to perform their destabilizing roles..

Fortunately for us we have a team & President that is clear-eyed and knows the games being played. Hopefully they’ll trace back to WHO is pulling these strings

Zizi I have had that on my mind for months. There are just oo many things going on that the media is not paying attention or are part of. There were a lot of moles left in the govenment when Bush left office. Especially in the Justice Dept. I couldn’t have put it any better than you did. Spot on.

I’ll go one more. Hopefully they’ll trace back to WHO is pulling these strings AND that they hold them accountable. (Jail time) Make it public so everyone sees it.

THIS CEREMONY TODAY JUST TORE ME TO PIECES…I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT IT HAS DONE TO THE FAMILIES INVOLVED AND THE PRESIDENT AND DC FAMILY. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THIS. I DO BELIEVE EXTREMISTS ARE TRYING TO DO ALL THEY CAN TO UNDERMINE AND BANKRUPT AMERICA. BUT…WE ALSO HAVE SEVERE HATE PROBLEMS AT HOME. IT IS SHAMEFUL, THE LANGUAGE AND THE VENOM THAT IS BEING USED IN THIS COUNTRY. I PRAY FOR PBO’S STRENGTH BECAUSE THE DAYS TO COME…WELL……………….?

THE PRESIDENT WAS STRUGGLING TO GET THROUGH THIS CEREMONY TODAY ALONG WITH SOS CLINTON…IT WAS BY GRACE THAT THEY MADE IT THROUGH. I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THIS COUNTRY PRIOR TO THE ELECTION….HATE GROUPS,ETC….THE AIR IS HEAVY. ALL SHOULD BE VERY WATCHFUL!

Mike Viqueira just messed up big…

He just said that PBO said Egypt was not an ally ” but ” an enemy…

    My Gawd…..these people are incompetent….

  9. September 14, 2012 at 4:58 pm

Mike Vicquera was just on, said that Sec. Clinton walked back the statement the President made about Egypt, that they are not a Ally but an enemy.
That is not what the President said!
If Vicquera is going to cover the WH for MSNBainC, He better not use Propaganda.
Somebody should Tweet Jay Carney with what he just said?
    That is all!

Our media is inept and corrupt. There is no excuse for Vicquera to make such a fundamental “mistake”. The MSM loves creating a narrative of PBO having to “walk back” his comments. They do it too often for it to be a coincidence. It’s like the MSM translates what PBO says thru a pro-GOP filter that mangles the President’s message.

I’ll have to watch the ceremony when I get home.

I just spoke to one of my patrons. He told me that not 5 minutes after the ceremony’s ending, Ryan held a presser blasting the President. My patron asked me, “Do they have no decency?” I answered “no”.

On Wednesday I said that Mitt’s Libya gaffe could be his Joseph McCarthy moment where people would begin to ask just that question. I am heartened to see that people are not falling for Mitt/Ryan’s desperate divisive tactics.

President Obama’s Friday fundraiser is expected to net his campaign at least $1.4 million.

Obama will attend an event with 35 people at a Washington, D.C. residence, with tickets for that event cost $40,000 per person, according to a campaign official.

Obama’s high-dollar fundraising pace has slowed in recent weeks, with the campaign focusing on rally-type events with grassroots supporters and taping their massive email list for donations.

    And…

President Obama is spending some time Friday afternoon at the Democratic National Committee’s headquarters on Capitol Hill.

Obama campaign traveling press secretary Jen Psaki said the president would “attend political meetings” at the DNC.

The political sessions come after a day of official events: the Transfer of Remains Ceremony for four Americans killed in Libya and a celebration of U.S. Olympians on the South Lawn of the White House.

In the evening, Obama will attend a closed-press fundraiser in Washington.

The GOP are trying very hard to lose….that is all I can make out of their behavior. I am listening to Randy Rhoads and she said Lou Dobbs blamed ambassidor Stevens for his own death. We are experiencing the GOP’s bizzaro world in real time. The election of and governing by President Obama and his almost flawless presidency of how they can not bring him down has completely damaged them mentally.

They feel impotent. That is why they are engaging in all the macho tough talk. Reminds me of GWB’s penchant for tough talk with no results (at least no positive results).

We will be there in our firm and lovely thoughts, prayers, quiet meditative moments, day to day moments of speaking into the goodness of our individual spaces ,words and thoughts of the “better angels” within our cores.

These are the solemn pledges that we make to the four wonderful families who shared their loved ones with us and the world. These brave men taught us how to leave this world a little better than they saw it each day they went out to serve their nation. They gave us so much each day, and now we can at least give their families a goodness from our hearts and lives each day going forward. “They laid down their lives for each of us.”

Now, tonight say a word of appreciation and gratefulness. Our deep commitments to them, their families, and to POB and our SOS should be to speak with firmness how we will be strong to continue to fight with all of

our might to continue to make this a better world than when we first entered it. Let us with all of our strength continue to take up the journey that these four brave men travelled for all of us daily. This is, in my opinion, a special and decent gift that we can extend to these beautiful four families.

Just speak it into the space for goodness. Just think, they gave their lives so that millions and millions may see a sunset tonight. We can alteast, light a candles to show some of that love and brave work that they did on our behalf. God, please grant us wisdom for the parts that we do not comprehend about all of this tonight, but please show us the way to serve just half as much as these four brave souls did. May God wrap each family in that warmth and spirit of love that none of us can understand at this time.HZ

So much respect for President Obama and Secretary Clinton. They handled today with such grace, dignity and class.

  18. September 15, 2012 at 12:42 am

At moments such as these, I am so grateful to have the President we have….for his grace, dignity, humility and leadership. He spoke so eloquently of these men and their service. What a sad and difficult time. Praying for peace and understanding in the Middle East. Secretary Clinton was wonderful too. These two have grown so much in their roles and they have been such a great team.
