Romney live on msnbc – I won’t link – but the 4 people behind him in uniform – 2 white and 2 African American – look ill
There’s 2 doz behind him in Uniform – is this supposed to happen at a campaign rally? They all look uncomfortable.

This is from an interesting article about a 2011 Executive Order on diversity in hiring in Government. This isn’t just good people sense, it’s good business sense. This is exactly what thriving businesses do to find and retain the best talent. Our President would have made a brilliant CEO well worthy of every conceivable bonus.

    1. Workforce Diversity. Recruit from a diverse, qualified group of potential applicants to secure a high-performing workforce drawn from all segments of American society.
    2. Workplace Inclusion. Cultivate a culture that encourages collaboration, flexibility, and fairness to enable individuals to contribute to their full potential and further retention.
    3. Sustainability. Develop structures and strategies to equip leaders with the ability to manage diversity, be accountable, measure results, refine approaches on the basis of such data, and institutionalize a culture of inclusion.

It is obvious to the most casual observer that King & Queen Robme would have their royal subjects in loin clothes and animal skins. All cooking their meals over open fires in a single pot. Sheesh.

it’s so funny to me that repubs and some dems think that Robot can get back into the race by outperforming Obama in the debates LOL! Like seriously? They think this man have enough brain cells left to put on a great debate performance, or better yet, outperform Obama? ….OBAMA?! …The Chosen One?! Laughable! Robot has PROVEN over and over again to be a huge JOKE of a presidential candidate, so why would that all-of-sudden change now? Why would that all-of-sudden change just in time for the debates? He’s a JOKE! a CLOWN! a DONKEY! People need to get that through their heads! He’s just a stiff rich white guy that wants the power of the Presidency. Power is the key word there. He doesn’t care about average americans. At the end of his life, he wants “i was president” to be on his life of accomplishments. Anyway, Robot has revealed himself to be a TERRIBLE candidate, a TERRIBLE politician, so why would he be a good president?

    Common sense not too common…

They want drama, ratings and to keep Mitt in the race. Also it is a self-fulfilling prophecy in that many of these same folks will be declaring Mitt the winner of the debates, regardless of how he performs (or lies). I agree with your take on Mitt’s reason for running for president. He wants to succeed where his father failed (just like GWB). The presidency is not the place to work through one’s “daddy issues”. GWB’s disasterous presidency should have taught the country that hard lesson.

I see what you mean. There are some mad-ass folks on there. Let’s hope it spurs them to action.

This was exceptional (wish I could tweet it):

“Republicans make false accusations of voter fraud against Democrats.

Republicans use those false accusations to “purge” tens of thousands of Democrats from voter rolls.

Republicans then forge tens of thousands of voter registration forms to invalidate Democratic votes.

Republicans register tens of thousands of dead people as Republicans and forge tens of thousands of absentee ballots.

Republicans have committed massive voter fraud in seven presidential election swing states.

Republicans have been committing massive voter fraud for decades in every State in the Union.

Republicans are Lying Rats and Criminals who should be thrown in prison.”

Our kick ass President strikes again.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is revoking a Chinese company’s purchase of four wind farm projects in the vicinity of a U.S. naval facility’s restricted airspace.

Obama’s decision is likely to be another irritant in the increasingly tense economic relationship between the U.S. and China. The rising Asian power’s trade advantage has emerged as a key issue in Obama’s re-election battle with Republican Mitt Romney.

In his decision, Obama orders Ralls Corporation, a company owned by Chinese nationals, to divest its interest in the wind farms it purchased earlier this year in Oregon. The wind farm sites are all in the vicinity of restricted air space near the Naval Weapons Systems Training Facility Boardman.

The administration cites unspecified national security risks as the reason for blocking the transaction.

    http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/09/28/14140024-us-immigration-chief-same-sex-ties-are-family-ties?lite

Same-sex couples will be considered “family relationships” in immigration proceedings, according to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, a move that could help stem the deportation of those in gay or lesbian binational relationships.

    Follow @mimileitsinger
Close family ties to the United States are a factor considered by authorities in deportation cases, and gay and lesbian advocates have long argued for same-sex couples to have the same immigration rights as opposite-sex couples.
“In an effort to make clear the definition of the phrase ‘family relationships,’ I have directed ICE to disseminate written guidance to the field that the interpretation of the phrase ‘family relationships’ includes long-term, same-sex partners,” Napolitano said in a letter.

Great news. We miss Janet here in AZ……
