Chris Rock has been great these past four years. No wishy-washiness on his part at all.
This is a parody account. . . not Chris Rock.
PPP says their instapoll has Obama the winner.
Intrade running at 91% for Obama win.
Thank you, Lord. And if I hear one Democrat of my acquaintance complain about PBO’s performance, they will be visiting the dentist the next day.
No one’s complaining. That’s how masterful this performance was. On so many levels. Astounding.

No tie tonight, he was great? watched on C-Span, just listening to The Rachel Show.
Best. Debate. Ever.
People on twitter keep calling out Chris Matthews? What’s he saying? This was a flawless performance!
That 47% moment was the money moment. That is the last image and remark voters will remember. Bravo Pres. Obama!
And I love that it was Mitt that provided the opening…
Oh yes, rinaex, his sanctimonious “I care about 100 percent” was the perfect layup to the smackdown. A true thing of beauty.
Yep, that was awesome. You could see the determination in PBO’s eyes. I wish he could be Prez forever. ;)
He was programmed to give that “100 percent” line, and couldn’t erase the program before shooting off his mouth.
Yup. The best closer.
The lying little pos handed the 47% to the President in the end and he gladly took it and ran away with it. What a lasting image.— (@amk4obama) October 17, 2012
Agree amk! Closing was a thing of beauty. Also loved the Lybia exchange. The whole world saw that he was a liar!
Yup!. I looked at my repub friends on facebook, trying to convince themselves Mitt won. Wouldn’t even engage. I agree with the president, Mitt’s comment was offensive, he shoul have just shut up
So totally, totally agree, UT.

Was I the only one who screamed when R-money whined about how the other side treated him in the campaign in the closing remarks. A full year and two debates doing everything in his power to insult the president and HE whines. Unbelievable.
A typical bully’s response when the tables are turned on him.

Great comment from Jed Lewison:
After the debate, “Obama mobbed by audience. Romney mobbed by his sons.”
It was a thing of beauty. President Obama at his masterful best.
Thanks Chips for posting the entire debate! Now I don’t have to wait for a C-Span replay! I am so grateful for the wonderful work you do for many of us who support President Obama. I spent more than an hour reading the comments on the previous debate threads. I am so thrilled that tonight people are so happy about the President’s performance. For me, I’ve never doubted the brilliance President Obama.
Man, man, man. I have a post building up in me. Will try to get it out tonight.
VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!

CNBC 20K+ votes PBO 57%
CNN 3000 votes PBO 71%
Keep freeping the poll. It’s coming down. Let’s show them what we’re made of.
The CNN poll is looking great. Vote people. Don’t give anyone on this planet an excuse to call this knockout a tie.
done! CNN has PBO 71% to 29%…..
Voted and shared with others!
Done. CNBC: Obama 64, CNN: Obama 69
Good will always prevail over evil. We witnessed that tonight. The goodness that is PBO’s heart triumphed over the evil in Mitt Romney; and the stage was set for tonight in the first debate which Mitt never won.
Congrats to Chips on the great work you are doing with this blog. You are simply the best. And to the TOD family, your support for PBO is not only remarkable but an inspiration to us outside the USA.
God bless our President for standing up for working people & the American Way of inclusion & shared opportunity & responsibility @Obama2012— Bill Ryan (@cmpnwtr) October 17, 2012
PO still in the hall talking to people. I heard the host on C-Span say at least 10 minutes ago that the Romneys had left the room. COWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tn, I thought Ann’s face looked grim afterward. She knew. I loved the way PBO was looking for Michelle. There was joy in her eyes when she hugged him. He’s won his battle and he was home in her arms. I just sighed.
You could just tell there was this incredible comfort for both of them. They are truly soul mates, north stars.
Myth should concede the election in the morning news. It really is over, and PBO has work to do.
I like the way you think Pamela!
Wish this grand performance was the last of the debates.
I don’t mind their being one more. Mitt’s got one more whipping coming and PBO is going to make sure he takes it.
Mitt’s wife wants to get him out of there as soon as possible. She’s concerned of his mental well being. And that isn’t any shit. He was very dry in the mouth tonight.
Mitt left Ann in the room. She was looking around for him while still taking pictures, and you could see the realization that Mitt had left without her. What a loser that man is!
You’d want to be by yourself too if you just got your clock cleaned on National TV.
Wait! The people in the room were part of the 47% no need to waste his time on them. lol
Moment of the Night: Pres. Obama uses Romney's 47% remark to CRUSH him. #Debate youtu.be/09hwMcVcjq4— (@utaustinliberal) October 17, 2012
A scientific poll is coming up with the ass Wolf Blitzer. I swear to god this idiot is sucking some kind of cock on the producers of CNN. Sorry, but that is just the way I feel. Jack Cafferty must be fucking pissed off that he is still working with this idiot.
Joy – I just saw your comment. First Wolf said the poll was skewed with Republicans (because I think CNN got in trouble last time, when they failed to mention that). Then he called Obama 46% – Romney 39% a “draw.”
So, basically, I agree with every word you wrote.
PBO was strong, detail oriented and direct. He answered questions forcefully and honestly without any hesitation. He stood up for himself without appearing to be a bully or whining. Very, very strong FINISH where he stood up for the middle class with PASSION and force. BRAVO.
Also, Meta, he never, ever whined. He didn’t review every little petty lie R-money was spewing. He illustrated a few and then did not waste valuable time on it. Instead, he set forth his agenda and his vision. Romney seemed to be channeling Daryl Issa with all his little petty issues that he thought were gotcha moments, but really made him seem like a petty little twit.
EXACTLY!! Excellent points, Jackie. POTUS didn’t get stuck in the swamp with Romney, tit for tat. He kept going. He knew where he wanted to go and he got there.
PBO does not know how to whine. Stanley Ann would never have allowed that, nor self-pity. She was a wonderful Mom!
PBO’s was a strong Mom…she did good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
My favorite moment was when PBO said he was OFFENDED at what Mitt was saying. He included his security team in being insulted. It showed he was a very strong CIC. No questions there.

No, he never went away. I am still convinced that in the first debate, Myth’s conduct was so u ethical and unprofessional, rude, disrespectful and ignorant of the rules and decorum of a debate, Mr, Lehrer and the President just let him run all over the place. Perhaps it was in disbelief that someone like Myth could take himself seriously enough to think he is worthy of becoming President. The final debate will be a no-show for Myth.

I’m Native American/White and I am voting for PBO.
I am white too, AND I AM VOTING FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA.
I am also white Irish/Canadian/British and although I can not vote in the US elections President Barack Obama has been my inspiration and shining light before I even knew what color he was.
His speech on the Iraq war in 2002 I heard on the news and I was so impressed. When I saw his convention speech in 2004 I KNEW he was the man who SHOULD be President and now, after having followed his presidency and seen the extraordinary character of a truly great and caring leader it matters not one bit what color he is (yes I felt huge pride when he became the 1st African American president but I would have supported him whatever race he is.)
What I am trying to say is that we are all blessed that he is POTUS and we NEED another 4 years – the whole WORLD needs him for another 4 years.

I took back what I said about Crowley on twitter. Actually tweeted her. I was worried about her the most and not worried about Jim Lehrer at all. Look how that turned out. She surprised me. Still not watching her show though. Will not break by cable news diet for anyone.

Watching CNN, Candy Crowley is covering her GOP butt and trying to explain why she called out the Libya terror issue. Saying that she said that it was just an unfortunate choice of words for Romney, and that the administration really had been trying to sell the story that the video was at fault. She said that that the undecideds in the hall seemed to think that they both won.
CNN is also releasing their snap poll.
46% PBO – 39% Romney…..pftttt
Maybe these people like CNN is going to tell the truth behind close doors like Mitt Romney spoke how he truly felt about the middle class and poor behind close doors. CNN will admit behind closed doors that President Obama kicked Mitt Romney lying ass. It was not even close. But CNN can’t admit that in public.
I always believe these people in these snap polls have either already made up their minds, or LIED to get into the audience. There is NO WAY somebody with an ounce of intelligence could have watched that debate and think that Romney won. No Way.
WTF? She’s a moderator! She has no business doing this. GAH.
The only reason Crawlee corrected Mitt was because she had no choice, “Candy, read the transcript” and it was a larger audience including worldwide. She still has no credibility with me tho she did her job tonite, unlike other many times.

That was from the buzz feed.
Actual poll was 46-39.
Wish I could read all debate comments but I’ve got to get to bed.
I confess I was nervous, there was so much riding on this debate. Afterwards I cried with relief. But I never should have doubted our President.
first debate – Romney really didn’t make any mistakes (except telling all those lies). Tonight his biggest mistake was on Libya, and boy did our President sound tough and wonderful. Told Romney it was “offensive” that he would suggest that people in his admin would play politics with the Libya tragedy – “That’s not what we do” – that was brilliant and it was pure Barack.
Watched PBS afterwards and was astonished no one mentioned the Libya section. To me it was most important and pivotal.
Michael Beschloss, presidential historian, said something interesting – when incumbent Reagan debated Mondale, the first debate Reagan was kind of listless and afterwards the polls showed them almost even. Second debate he came back strong. Didn’t Mondale carry something like 2 states in the end????
I feel great and can’t wait to get back to the campaign tomorrow.
Elly, I thought the “Offensive” comment and giving credit for his team too was the most powerful of the night. His strength of conviction and strong voice in that moment standing up to Mitt was a true CIC moment.

This Witch is F*^KING UGLY!!!! INSIDE AND OUT!!!!
Not a nice picture – Miss Ann has never had to control her opinions of “you people” – why should she start now
When I look at this pic, above all, I see hatred, and I believe it’s directed at PBO. Her face says to me, “Just who in the hell does he think he is?” Her nostrils appear to be flared, there appears to be a look of disdain on her face, there’s lots of tension there, and her eyes look as if she’s ready to kill someone. I’m not an expert, but I am pretty good at reading folks’ faces, and Ms. Ann’s face shows more hatred and disdain than it does anger. She, like Romney, didn’t see the exposure of him as a liar on national TV coming.
Let me remind you that the next debate is about foreign policy:)
I was thinking, because now my brain won’t stop…that some were so disappointed in PBO’s first debate…maybe that was HIS ruse:) Making Mitt think that he had this, that he actually could get up and debate the POTUS and win a debate…get overconfident…..then BLAM! Shut The Barn Door!
I just thought he was giving him enough rope to hang himself. Those smiles and relaxed body language were there for a reason. PBO is always about the long game.
I’m with you derbingle. That was my thought when PO allowed easily BS position from Romney to pass that he chose to let Willard take the rope and wrap himself in it.
After tonight, I would not be surprise if Anne Romney votes for our President and the all the boys join the Armed Services.
Since he is so concerned about starting another war. VP Joe Biden said it right, JUST SAY SO! And in saying so, sign your boys up, first before you ship them off to France or Canada to work on the “pipeline”.
I am so sick of these Repugs warmongers sending the 47% off to fight their money making wars!
Once again that fool Mitt did not mention our veterans and their struggles…..Our President did and always will….because he cares.

That damn Chuck Todd is on MSNBC right now trying to downplay the President’s win. He makes me sick!
Forget Chuck Todd.
This. He like the rest of the cable news media is on the train to irrelevancy.
I said, Nov 7, their ratings will be in the toilet, Chuckie, Rachel, Ed,that morning guy.
Fuck Chuck Todd. No one gives a damn about what that asshole thinks.
Yes forget Chuck Todd…he think he is somebody…he is no Tim Russet (sp?). Poor little fellow…bless his heart.
And then there’s that pos Chuck Todd. :-(

That is some big rightful love right there.
I imagine FLOTUS is whispering in those lovely big ears, proud of you honey. Love you too. Would it be wrong if I say the same thing. :)
It would be right, and true, anniebella!
Love that picture of POTUS and FLOTUS.
CNN can’t deny Pres. Obama’s win.
CNN poll is republican +8 and Pres. Obama still won, 46%-39%. Even CNN aka Fox Lite can't deny he won. #Debate— (@utaustinliberal) October 17, 2012
Talk about reality kicking your teeth even if you hide behind R’s.
I was seething at the binders full of women section of the debate. Did you all hear the sexism apparent in Romney’s comments? Romney wants to make sure women get home from work in time to make dinner -and- he wants employers to be so desperate to hire workers that they’ll EVEN hire women. Did anyone else notice those two glimpses into the true sexist that Romney is?

And guess what? As with everything else that comes out of Romney’s mouth, the whole binder story was a lie!
“Not a true story.
What actually happened was that in 2002 — prior to the election, not even knowing yet whether it would be a Republican or Democratic administration — a bipartisan group of women in Massachusetts formed MassGAP to address the problem of few women in senior leadership positions in state government. There were more than 40 organizations involved with the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus (also bipartisan) as the lead sponsor.
They did the research and put together the binder full of women qualified for all the different cabinet positions, agency heads, and authorities and commissions. They presented this binder to Governor Romney when he was elected.”
Gag me with a spoon!

sam wang on post debate polls. PBO won hands down even with blatant R leaning samples. election.princeton.edu/2012/10/16/pos…— (@amk4obama) October 17, 2012
I think my 3 favorite words right now are, “Please proceed Governor” followed by the Death Ray stare PBO gave Mittens while Mittens was trying to act arrogant like HE was the one catching PBO in a lie about what was said in the Rose Garden the day after the attacks at the consulate.
I could see he was clearly pissed off at the bot’s traitorous ways.

New post everyone:
On MSNBC, didn’t the McCain guy look piss off. He look mad, he did his best to stick up for Mitt, but he knows deep down, President Obama kick Mitt Romney’s lying behind.
Just a quick side note…..
This night just got better for me!
Just found out that Bristol Palin got bumped off Dancing with the Stars tonight:) hahaha
Sick of seeing her the Twit mother and the 1st dude in the audience. Good riddance.
I was so busy with the debate and post debate talk that I have not gotten to the DWTS tivoed show. OH! Just noticed since I am on the W Coast I would not have known Bristol was voted off yet anyway. I am glad though as I was sick of her hanging on when it was obvious she was the worse dancer.
There is no doubt that PBO won this debate. But then again I felt he won the first debate. I think too many people look at these pundits and don’t actually look at the facts.
Joy, at last I am not alone! I watched the replay debate on C-Span, and to this day I still don’t understand why any one thinks Romney won that debate. It’s true the President was calm and less animated but he still had the command of facts. Mitt Romney lied throughout the entire debate. It was almost impossible to know where to start debunking his lies.
Yes – lying should be an immediate disqualifier.
I expected one of msnbc’s undecided voters to ask “Which one of them was Mitt Romney?”
Holy shit they’re idiots.
Now THAT is funny. You need to tweet that lol.
