Simply beautiful. I know Michelle is proud of her hubby. We all are.
You are so right about that collegekay.
So Very proud!!!! Never stopped.
He is a spectacular human being…
A once in a generation President…
The conquering hero returns to his lady love.
I’m SO jealous of her right now.
He’s a remarkable, truly remarkable person. I don’t know how we got so lucky as to have him as our President. He fights so hard for us.
Of course. What is there not to be ?
In BOTH debates, Mitt gave Obama more material to drive post-debate coverage. This time, the circular firing squad won't get in Obama's way.— (@billscher) October 17, 2012
Tremendously proud of both of them; always have been and always will be!
I am with you all the way, purpleshoesla!
Excessively proud and extremely sleepy, This was another good day!
I know. The days of not going to sleep at a reasonable time are starting to tell. I first started taking stock when I realized a few days ago that sometimes you leave me here, go to sleep AND come back and find me here. Scarey realization for me!
I love my President —yes I do… I love my President—how about you?
You mean the guy with a funny name and funnier ears ?
I adore him and his family. And damn, he had those steely eyes when Libya came up. What a perfect moment!
I love him, I love him, I love him too!
Top 10 but our President is No. 1!!
One more time, goodnight, yes, it is!
Isn’t this about the third time you, Ms Pamela, have said good night?

Romney: "Help! I'm being cruuuuuuuushed! May I exit stage right?" #Debate http://t.co/HN1ZHKIH— The Obama Diary (@TheObamaDiary) October 17, 2012
The Romney character was getting pretty dry mouth in the debate.
I wanted to pour a little of that Ryan/ lyin water down his mouth.
Miz Chips! Stop it! My stomach hurts from laughing so hard. I’ve been weeping since your tweet of the cartoon of Mittens being carried off in the stretcher.
The AA man who posed the question about what PBO has done in the last 4 years and having to pay too much for the things he needs – he reminded me of the woman in that town hall a couple years ago who said her family had to eat hot dogs.
He reminded me of Velma the Exhausted.
Oh, YES! That was her name. Thanks, PJ. She was soooooo exhausted from defending POTUS. Waaaah.
I had the same thought. He must be one of those low-information citizens or someone that was under a rock somewhere in the past 3 1/2 years.
No Child Left Behind, that man reminded me of a person who has “Not Been Paying Attention.” He was deserving of the smack down that POB gave to him right in his face. “So let me tell you buddy,”says POB.
I’m almost 60 years old, and we’ve always had some blacks like that guy in the town hall–think Cornel West and Tavis Smiley. Black guys like these have two main ways of dealing with the black man who has attained a higher level of success than they have : a-they conclude that the guy thinks he’s better than they are, even if the person has NEVER said it, and/or b-they proceed to tear him down just to make themselves feel better (“I’ll show him he’s not all that.”) I’ve seen this a lot in my years, and it’s just as despicable now that it’s happening to PBO as it has always been for me to see it. These sorry jackasses do/say things to/about PBO that they wouldn’t dare do to a white president. Smiley and West had their damn lips super glued shut when GWB was president, and it wouldn’t surprise me if this town hall tool had two coatings of super glue on his lips at that time.
Right on, right on majiir –
I’ve had the same experience. Love my peeps (actually, all good peeps), but the Corney-West sliver have problems with authority coming from one of their own.
Yup. And it backfired so beautifully.
Yep and if you watched CSPAN, at the end he was all over the President trying to get a picture and an autograph. And you know our President being the man he is obliged him. If it was me, I would have asked, why you want to take a picture with a person that you’re disappointed in? But that’s just me. LOL!
Yep and if you watched CSPAN, at the end he was all over the President trying to get a picture and an autograph.
He did? I’m shocked.
Obama needs me to field shit like this. I would have told Mr Disappointed to fuck off. Well, maybe in FantasyLand.
But of course my president is gracious and has class. It’s why I love him so.
I love the reports that the Romney’s left the stage while the Obamas stayed, taking pics, talking to the audience and signing autographs.
Romney clearly didn’t learn from McCain last time around, when McCain left and President Obama continued to work to get the votes of those remaining. Once again, President Obama’s party was the last to leave the set (and you know he must have been exhausted). He’s serious.
LadyTNT – That’s the difference between PBO and us. I don’t have the HEART AND SELF-DISCIPLINE that the President shows every day. Especially today. I know he’s “just a human being” but he’s certainly a superior type of human being.
Well, he was just as shameful as the young lady who didn’t know the POTUS has signed the Lilly Ledbetter Act.
Weird tweet of the night from Geraldo:
“Congrats Mr. President, Balls Are A Beautiful Thing.”
How would he know?
Probably wishes he had a pair!
Pamela: You’re hilarious!!! (Now go to bed.)
LOL – beautiful
Bravo, Pamela! You are on fire tonight!
What does he mean by that? Tell Geraldo to kiss my big black, never mind, I won’t say it. But I can sure think it.

Thank you LadyTNT.

I’m in awe. Delivering that kind of performance, with that kind of pressure on him. Just wow…

No one seems to be focusing on this. But the main highlight of the debate for me was when
Mitts’s one and only foreign policy critic with any legs (Libya) was essentially dismantled.
Obama: I sent these people to harm’s way. These were my friends. And to suggest I do not care about their safety. Frankly, governor I find that offensive.
Best moment ever!
It made him look so presidential I started squealing with joy. And I don’t usually make those sounds. This was more significant for me than even the 47% even though that was a thing a joy to watch.
I too felt that cman, he made a very good point on this and how not to politicize such a very sad situation.
cman, I agree with you about that too.
When he said the word “offensive” while looking squarely in Willard’s flaccid face, it was over. Pure steel. I don’t think Romney’s mind was right from that point on. The crowd I was with hollered.
I SO agree, PJ! Monumental. Fierce. Presidential. Moment.
My favorite CIC moment too!
President Obama did us proud tonight. I was proud of him in the last debate. I trust him. He put a whipping on Willard.
Remember the black guy who said he voted for our President last time and he was looking for reasons to vote again. Glad Prez told him that he needs to pay attention to the campaign. Matter of fact all of the questioners should have done there research. And besides he said that he is a police officer during the exit interview. Another idjit it full view.
Also, didn’t Willard sound like John McCain. I know how to fix that words. Why is Willard so obsess with food stamps. It appears Willard is going to have a breakdown after the 2012 election results are in.
The ass whooping was lovely and so is this picture!!! I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PROUD OF MY PRESIDENT!!!! AND MY FIRST LADY!!!! AND OF THIS TOD FAMILY!!!!! THAT IS ALL

Weird that the 8 undecideds that NBC chose to exit poll were so dumb. Only 2 decided with 1 for each candidate of the other 6 the women were especially dumb as they seemed to be heading for Romney since they thought he would bring jobs. They missed the equal pay part and didn’t seem to care even when they were reminded by the moderator. I think those that are still undecided may just be dumb. One said Romney has a jobs plan.
No offense Jovie, but why are you searching for any bad news or negative spin you can find? What is your point? It reminds me of a saying: When the Devil can’t steal the victory, he will steal the joy. PBO won the debate, surpassed any rational person’s expectations. Why the negativity?
Don’t see that this is such a negative comment.
Wanted: Six undecided voters to participate in an MSNBC focus group. Four of you have to be the dumbest people on Earth. Apply within.
Did you see those idiots????!! Yes, I am calling them idiots.
This woman is like ” I live paycheck to paycheck. I’m leaning towards Romney because he has a plan for the economy.”
I’m like WTF?
Then they ask her :” How about the fact that he didn’t answer the question of whether women should be payed the same as men?”
The idiot woman: “Uhh…err..*mumble,mumble** I don’t know. Maybe he’ll bring it in the next debate?”
UNDECIDED Voters are dumb at this point!
Others think they must be rwnj plants. I’m beginning to agree. Nobody could be that dumb. Well, they could be that dumb, but it’s painful to watch!
Only people who vote for the GOP can be that dumb – democrats know who can help them regain their strength/savings/independence

MSNBC has on a NBC group of 8 undecided. Only 2 decided (1 for O and 1 for R) but many were thinking of Romney. The women that are undecided seem so dumb as the moderator even brought up the fact that Mitt did not answer the question on women getting equal pay. They just think he will get them jobs since he is a job creator.
Trust me, these people are a bunch of Republicans with talking points straight out of the RNC binder.
I’m glad I didn’t see the 8 undecided. I wouldn’t have said to much nice about them.
I think Ron Mott is undecided?
I turned away…especially when I saw only one black person…I knew it was fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After the conduct of MSNBC and the rest of the MSM these past two weeks, do you think they would put together anything but a group of “undecideds” that favor Mitt? They screened these people and picked people they thought would trend toward Mitt. Just like CNN’s poll oversamples republicans by 8 points. It helps them create the impression that the election is closer than it actually is. How some still see the MSM as impartial or unbiased after all the b.s. we witnessed, is beyond me.
Sounds like and looks like turtles on a fence post.

“Why did the phrase resonate? Because it was tone deaf, condescending and out of touch with the actual economic issues that women are so bothered about. The phrase objectified and dehumanized women. It played right into the perception that so many women have feared about a Romney administration – that a president Romney would be sexist and set women back.”

Yeah that stood out for me as well. It came off as phoney, without true feeling. I don’t think he gives a damn about woman but rather that he just wanted a woman to make his cabinet LOOK better, know what I mean?
Can’t really explain, I just got a weird feeling listening to him (which is a pretty standard feeling when I hear him anyway)

ut, tell Ms. Simmons to we WELCOME her and any other who may come to there senses.
“Please proceed Governor.” One of the alpha-male lines of the night.
Yep my favorite 3 words right now! But it has to be accompanied by the LOOK OF DEATH, PBO gave Mittens when he said it. That set Mittens off to more stumblin and fumblin…
…bumblin and crumblin…
I’m gonna have to put that in my repertoire — when somebody is totally making an ass of himself/herself: “Please proceed governor.”
yep., that was my all time favorite. I have been searching for a picture of that moment. Figured if I waited a few days Chips will have it.
Felt like we were in a court of law and PBO was the judge about to issue a sentence. BOOM.
PJ, did you also see that steele look that he gave Willard? Beautiful!!!!HZ
I sure did, HZ. A pure drop the mic moment. BAM!
Dear TOD family, today is my 32 birthday and i could not have asked for a better gift than this!! Nothing more to say! Go PBO Go!!!
Happy Birthday! Best b’day present!!
Happy Birthday to you!!!!!!!!
It’s still Tuesday in Los Angeles (ten more minutes) – Happy Birthday, Obaman!
Thank you all! What a day!! Am not an american citizen myself and I wont be able to vote for this man for that reason. But make sure you all go out and vote for him and remember, you need this man to continue as POTUS for all that he is fighting for and the world needs him there as well for equally important reasons!!!
Good luck to ourselves. Cant wait for Oct 22 now! Then straight to November 6th…Yeahhhh, lets GO!
Happy, happy birthday, Obaman. There is another gift in-store for you next week. PBO will put a ribbon on it next time.
Dear RW Trash, don’t EVEN THINK about it! Take your hands off your keyboard now and back away. Miz Chips doesn’t play.

Fair weather friends make me sick. I have no respect for them. I like consistency in bad times and good times. PBO needs us most when things are going bad and my support will never waiver.
That is a beautiful statement of support, COS, and I join you 1000%.
Bravo, COS! I feel exactly the same way you do. By the way, I still don’t know why people freaked out about the first debate. To be sure, the President was polite and tried to focus on his agenda rather than spend all his time debunking all the Romney lies. But, unlike Romney, he was still the “adult in the room.” He was not going around yelling and shouting at the moderator while at the same time he was telling lies to the American people.
Funny, I thought Obama LOST the election two weeks ago???
Give him a couple of days, he’ll flip out again.
I’m done with Sully (oh, I’m sure he’s so sad about that). He once rose to the occasion, and I appreciated it, but he isn’t somebody you can count on … but President Obama is!
Don’t go there – he needs the clicks – the one positive thing he ever did was calling out Sarah Palin. He has been living (literally) on that for 4 years.
He’s a self admitted catholic republican who is gay – can’t get much more stupid than that.
Exactly, JO! President Obama is somebody you can count on! I am so finished with media people like Andrew Sullivan, Chris Matthews, Chris Hayes, and Ed Schultz. They are as bad as Romney when it comes to having core political principles.
But for the fact that nobody could be as bad as Romney, I agree.
