He just got off the plane greeted by Rahmbo and now they’re walking arm in arm on the tarmac.

    • October 25, 2012 at 4:38 pm

They have such great affection for one another, walking with their arms around one another. The times they’ve seen together!!

I know — I can’t wait to read the books they will write.

PBO now on Marine One, helicoptering into the cit-ay!

Is there a link to this? I want to see him and Rahm walking together … for a long time my wallpaper here at the office was of PBO and Michelle with Rahm and his wife walking across the tarmac one of the times the Prez and Michelle returned to Chicago for an event. It was an awesome picture; the two ladies were wearing beautiful clothes and the colors in the photo were awesome and it made me feel secure beause I trust Rahm to have our President’s back no matter what!

Romney Adviser Would Profit From Bigger Navy

But for one of Romney’s most important advisers on Navy issues, a man who oversaw a massive naval expansion for Pres. Ronald Reagan, there’s more at stake than U.S. national security. John Lehman, an investment banker and former secretary of the Navy, has strong and complex personal financial ties to the naval shipbuilding industry. He has profited hugely from the Navy’s slow growth in recent years — raising the prospect that he could make even more if Romney takes his advice on expanding the fleet. [...]

So excited to see Pres. Obama vote. I remember in 2008 when he, Michelle and their daughters voted.

See that “study in efficiency” when that girl tries to vote? Same thing happened when we tried to vote in Illinois. There’s a big problem with the computer program used in early voting. When I finally got to vote yesterday they still couldn’t swipe my drivers license, had to manually input info. I can’t imagine what happens if there’s a long line. I emailed our county clerk about the problem and I got a snippy response which did not address my concern—-said they’re always looking for judges if I wanted to volunteer. (?) Hope they get it straightened out before President Obama tries to vote.

I thought it was funny seeing him there for a minute. I wonder if he had one of those 6 pagers like Fl. WooHoo! Now he’s touting early voting. Yes sir Mr. President. I voted early today in GA. It felt great, and I was so happy to get it done and not have to worry ANYTHING would stop me from casting my vote for Barack Obama and Joe Biden 2012!

    PPP CO: O 51 – R 47
    PPP NC: O 48 – R 48

My wife and I will be voting tomorrow. Of course for PBO, which since we live in IL only matters in terms of overall vote count, but even perhaps more importantly, for Tammy Duckworth so we can see the last of the odious Joe Walsh.

    • 53 dudette9t9

Do it japa! I wanna see that turd stain, Joe Walsh, shoved outta my Congress!

      October 25, 2012 at 7:32 pm

japa21 – Would you kindly do me a favor? After you vote for Tammy, would you slap the podium (as PBO does) (or the voting booth), before walking away? I’m not in her district, or I’d be voting for her, too.

My President is just 4 miles away casting his vote and taking pics with the poll workers. Yeehah! Major water works here.

  26. October 25, 2012 at 5:34 pm

I THOROUGHLY enjoyed watching PBO’s plane land and watching him vote. It was worth the extra hour I sat in my office watching on my computer!! HA! And I enjoyed sharing the moments with others here.

It is thrilling for me to watch that magnificent Air Force One come into view and land when I know this incredible human being is aboard and “in charge” of my country.

For anyone still watching the NBC Chicago feed it’s so cool watching and listening to the poll workers. They are clearly on a high from having met POTUS.

You have Mitt draw a crowd of 3000, Ryan 1500, President Obama 15,000, 13,000, but yet all the sorry ass media keep talking about is some imaginary enthusiasm gap.

      • 74 elo4obama/biden
        October 25, 2012 at 5:56 pm

It’s sad isn’t it. They are really just giving me no reason to believe anything they say now. I have been pundit lite, and so called news taken with a grain of salt.

This reminds me, did anyone see Maddow a few days ago. She was saying how this time in 2008 McCain was way behind. I remember them all having us on pins and needles about how close it was, and how fabulous that idjit Palin was. Anyway…. I just cannnot tolerate another pole! It is really true- the only pole that matters is November 6th!

57, I think that is the one I kept hearing on my progressive radio station as they have ABC News on the hour and half hour. It sounded like Romney was way ahead in the Natnl poll. Something like Romney 50 to 45. Made me feel sick and I almost didn’t listen to the radio but I was in my car and kept listening.

And Krystal Ball and Joy Reid didn’t believe the AP poll. I do not remember all these polls in 2008. It seem everyday somebody is coming out with another poll.

    • 91 Jeff
      October 25, 2012 at 6:18 pm

It polled mostly the south over other states and almost all white plus even women to men.

The polls are used as crutches so that the media can keep their Horse race pretenses. Gallup has polled more that 84 times during pres Obama’s 3.7 yrs. In 8 yrs of GW Bush, they polled less than 10 times.

Now that LV are used and RV are ignored, there are more to the gaming by the pollsters.

VOTE, Canvass, Phone Bank, Donate, put out yard signs and Volunteer.

This Rolling Stone interview is a must read. Pres. Obama covers everything from Romney, Paul Ryan and Ayn Rand, Historic Accomplishments, The Personal, Halloween Costume For Romney, Healthcare, His Vision For The Future, The Auto Bailout etc. It’s brilliant.
