TIME TO KICK willard’s ASS!!!
And amk arrives at TOD.
It’s all Heil.
I thought I would be the first (japa was hogging that place) with that snarky post but the wimmin …. /smh.
You’ll catch up to the wimmin.
No need to brag and kick at the same time.
Of course. We’re all kinda giddy at this point.
It’s a gift
How long have you got?
uh, uh. Not getting into that trap.
Love you, AMK!
To genuflect or to curtesy, that is the question!
Gee, where’s the enthusiasm? LOL! GObama! GOhio!
Scott, I don’t think our idea of enthusiasm is the same as that of the so called mainstream media.
That was pretty awesome.
The ladies have something to say about the GOP women haters
I absolutely love Margaret and Helen. I really do. I frequently print out their posts for hubby to read. This one is so good, it has me sitting here dumbfounded. It is so en pointe that I cannot even react. Wow. God, I hope the women in this country wake up before it is too late.

LOL. Go Tina.
” I can’t even finish this sentence without getting dumber,”
Tina Fey = Goddess (albeit a reluctant one, which makes her doubly special)
It feels like I am right there! OBAMA/BIDEN 2012!!!!
Hey, y’all! So, who is going to fill me in? I have missed every thread today! Ready…
Look at the crowd at this time of the night.
My thoughts too amk. Where’s that damn enthusiasm gap? I’m still looking for it, eh?
Amazing stuff, ya. I want a +10 PV thrashing of the vulturevoucher2012 come Nov 6th.
Sounds like a plan. Start chillin’ the wine.
My stock of BS for Nov 6th is loaded up.
Wonderful pictures, thanks Ms Chips! I can go to bed happy now, good night all!
Fired up crowd for our Fired Up President!
I hope he gets some rest and something to soothe his voice/throat tomorrow.
Great analysis of some moderate/conservative endorsements of PBO.
The first video is unbelievable, I’ve watched it 10 times already. I’m looking for a clip of him coming down the stairs and running to the podium. That gave me real chills.
So have I BWD, and I am sure I will watch it again. I sent it to a friend who love videos like this.
Romney to try to copy this scene by driving up one of his super expensive private jets in front of a RNC-paid and RNC-bused crowd in 3…2…1..
#TrustBarack – Because he knows Rape is Crime. Period.— Bobfr (@Our4thEstate) October 26, 2012
This great Lena Dunham video is driving the crazies nuts, meaning it’s working. Spread it!
This video is so cute. I don’t see why it’s so controversial.
Because “it’s working” – hate is often not founded in logic
Because it’s about sex, you know. Republicans love the rape, but hate the sex. Their heads explodes over this, which is good.
People not of this age group who found this video “controversial” have absolutely no idea what life in 2012 is for teenagers and young adults. This is “G” rated compared to most of the TV shows they watch, not to mention everything available to them on YouTube, and through all kinds of social media. The angle used in this video will definitely grab the attention of the 18-and-older crowd, and, hopefully, more votes for PBO.
I like it from the first time I saw it, but that it’s driving the crazies nuts makes me love it even more.
What’s “controversial”about this ? wingnutz are breaking the peak crazification factor.
Peak crazification… LOVE THAT!!
I’m afraid we have miles to go before we reach peak wingnut crazy.
Wow! Interesting there’s a hashtag #MyFirstTime with a bunch of uptight folks hating on this ad. Some folks you wouldn’t expect too.
And some pushback against the fogeys
Cute Lena Dunham vid may be hit w/young voters. But will it be a hit after kids hear the pushback from 55 and over whiteguys on Twitter?— Josh Marshall (@joshtpm) October 25, 2012
What I don’t get is how the YouTube video has over 2K dislikes, over 1K likes but only 300+ views.
@joshtpm You mean push back from folk who dig Akin, Mourdock, Ryan and other rape parsers? You know, these dudes https://t.co/A0mo3Jhg Hmmmm— Bobfr (@Our4thEstate) October 26, 2012
youtube locks the no.of views at around 300+ views to detect spamming. They will update the real numbers after two, three days.

As if we needed another reason to give this man 4 more years….and his DOJ, too. h/t Bob Cesca
In other news, the Department of Justice filed a lawsuit yesterday against the city of Meridian, Lauderdale County, two juvenile court judges, and the state of Mississippi for its “school-to-prison pipeline” that has been imprisoning children for minor classroom offenses.
Thank GOODNESS! The ginormous Prison industrial Complex is another big thing we need to tackle in this country! Enough with the damned private prisons.
Does anyone know how many people were at this rally?
Airport officials estimated 12K.
This says about 12,000.

Is this “Rock Center” Jovie?
Sadly, yes. Brian Wanker Williams… ugh! I kinda don’t want to give it any ratings (catch video later).
Isn’t Scandal on tonight?
Then FLOTUS on Jimmy Kimmel.
How can I see it later?

What are you looking at, axe ? Vote already man.
LOL, it makes you review all your choices once again before you hit submit and before you get a print out.
Wonder who is is voting for? Or is he an ‘undecided’? Rock our World, Axe! Early voting looks good on YOU!
You watching Rock Center?
Yes, and I don’t like Bri Wi’s initial framing of the campaign in terms of smaller crowds and people not as enthusiastic. That is FALSE.
I didn’t like it either. He was arrogant and condescending.
I didn’t like it either – he was slanting everything as a negative. And complaining a lot. All the while, the President was working his butt off – traveling around the country and asking Americans for their vote so he can work FOR THEM! I thought the President was resting a little bit when he was done with each leg of the trip – only to find that he was being hounded by Brian Williams!
Love David Plouffe!
It was about 12,000 tonight at the airport in Ohio, according to this article.
Obama’s Cleveland visit capped a two-day, round-the-clock tour that also stopped in Iowa, Colorado, Nevada, Florida and Virginia. Before arriving at Burke, Obama detoured to Chicago, where he became the first sitting president to cast a ballot in person before Election Day.
About 12,000 turned out for Obama’s 25-minute speech. It was his second event in Ohio in three days – he and Vice President Joe Biden rallied Tuesday in Dayton – and his voice was hoarse.
Wow. Amazing turnout. GOBOTS.
Just got a DM from

No matter what state we’re in or how many of these grassroots events we’ve done in a row or even how little sleep I’m running on, I’m always thinking three things when I walk off the stage at a rally.
First, if it’s a hot day like it was today in Virginia, I’m thinking about whether everybody’s getting enough water and staying healthy.
The second thing I think about is the incredible energy I see in our volunteers and supporters. It’s meant so much to me to feel just how geared up people are—they understand what’s at stake in this election, and they are putting in the hours and logging the miles it’s going to take to win.
Finally, I think about all the lives that we can change for the better in a second term—the work we still have to do to put people back to work, build more manufacturing here in the United States, support small businesses, make sure that our tax code is fair as we’re reducing our deficit. There’s so much ahead of us, and I’m really inspired by the prospect of having another four years to get it done together.
This trip has been great so far, and I can’t wait to see what our last stop has in store. Thanks for tracking our cross-continental all-nighter—and most of all, thanks for having my back.
P.S.—I just cast my vote in Chicago, and I hope I can count on yours.
Yes You Can, Mr. President. You can count on my vote!
Thank you for the numbers hopefruit, pickle48 and COS
Can someone answer ths for me? Krystal Ball tweeted that she has big news being revealed on the Cycle today. What was it?
From what I saw on twitter, she is pregnant.
Yes, she’s pregnant – expecting in early June.
Why is this newsworthy?
I was a bit surprised that she even tweeted this as a “big news” to be announced on MSNBC. I was expecting something less personal and more along the lines of politics. But to each her own I guess!
Thanks Meta. Never imagined it would be something personal.
Gorgeous panoramic photo of Cleveland:
Dear @Lawrence Sununu's comment about Gen Powell makes it wildly obvious that any notion of 'post-racial' America is as dead as OBL.— Bobfr (@Our4thEstate) October 26, 2012
Powell's former chief of staff: I'm voting for Obama too on.msnbc.com/TdqlU1— Hardball (@hardball) October 26, 2012
I think his former COS did in ’08, as well!
Wilkerson has been more outspoken and more honest on calling out the rethugs than his boss.
True. But, I must say, today’s words from Gen Powell were the most harsh criticism, not just of Willard, but of those around him I’ve heard. As Wilkerson notes, his timing is always impeccable and, in this case, it was perfection. That video clip of both Powell and Wilkerson will likely be used 1000s of times by Team Obama – rightly so – between now and 6 Nov.
Chips – the video clip in this link is exceptional even with tweety in it
I just watched that tweety vid. What a motor mouth.

12K people showed up tonight to hear Pres. Obama speak in Cleveland, OH and they were excited. youtu.be/EklLGeREEV0 http://t.co/n1ZarIsV— (@utaustinliberal) October 26, 2012
I’m always in AWE of the optics in these events. The settings, the huge FORWARD signs in perfectly placed positions so they meet every camera angle, the placement of the podium. Just brilliant.
Well, when you’re a top-notch candidate, you have a top-notch campaign, all around. The other guy? Not so much. In fact, not at all.
Yes, his brilliance has attracted the best and most creative minds. And then there’s all of us!
Yes, our collective, creative minds recognize brilliance when we see it!
What a spectacular setting in Cleveland….goosebumps!
BriWi seemed a little tired out about his coverage on Rock Center, just from trying to keep up with President Obama for part of his whirlwind trip! But it was pretty good coverage, overall, since – at the end of the piece – President Obama got to speak directly to the viewers about what the presidency means, and that is having the (moral) compass to do your best for the American people, each and every day. He’s got my vote.
I find it very funny how the media changed their tune on the Romney “faux mentum”.
Not so fast, his Team is still really pushing we are ahead Meme.
Like Plouffe said, one of us is bluffing.
But the media seem to be saying the oppositeof the Romney team and calling him out.
I did not hear that!
COS, can you please share some links that support your statement. I have not read or seen any clear evidence of media pushback against the Romney team’s claim that Romney is ahead and has momentum, except may be for the mild statement from Nate Silver.
Didn’t even realize this turkey was still kickin’
That Mitt Romney is quicker’n slicker than WD 40 on a doorknob.— Ross Perot (@RossPerot2012) October 26, 2012
He endorsed Willard last week.
Yup. Fuck this ah.
Looks like a parody Twitter account?
That would make sense.
I read a few of the tweets there, and I’m thinkin’ maybe.
Plus, if I recall, he was more the “whiteboard” type – like the other loser, Rombo!
I recall that before he ran for President and kinda “lost it,” Ross Perot was extremely well regarded by the military, too (not just for business sense but because of his support for the military) and I recall a couple of high-powered Navy seminars where he was keynote speaker. And why I’m reminiscing about Ross Perot, whom I would never have voted for, I have no idea — but I seem to be “killing time” tonight! Ha!
My friend’s daughter (who’s a teacher in Florida) just posted this on her Facebook page, after someone posted an anti-Obama link there:
“I am sorry but i find it extremely disrespectful that you would choose my positive post to share something like that. I WILL VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA. I am NOT an idiot. I do NOT live off the government. I work hard everyday. I pay taxes and i take care of those around me. Maybe they should make a video of me and my reasoning. This is the one and only time i will share who i am voting for. i don’t believe that it’s anyone’s business and i wouldn’t dare shove my opinions down anyone’s throat but this is MY PAGE and i plan to fill it with peace and hope not ignorance, hatred and ARROGANCE!!”
By the way, this teacher is 40-ish, white, lives in a red part of Florida, and is a huge NASCAR fan. So, you never know where O’supporters can be found. (Plus, she voted Obama in ’08.)
Good for her!
I’ll pass that on – she’s a spitfire and the kind of 5th grade teacher we’d all want our kids and grandkids to have in school. Each student in her class is like her own, and she “worries” about them when they go on to middle school. Oh, and, she’s a Navy brat – her late Dad (enlisted, band leader, great guy) was career Navy!
’nuff said. Sounds like a worthy ship mate.
Yes, like you, he didn’t suffer fools gladly, either! He retired and moved to Florida – kept in touch with many of his fellow Navy Band members who also moved there – and also ran a fishing boat operation, so he was surrounded by his former shipmates and water, no matter what he did!
I wish. I loved the sea.
Sweet. I was “only” a civilian for 30 years, but I also loved working for the Navy all that time, being around other people who loved the sea! Only was on one USS Big Boat during my career, on a hosted tour, and remind me never to do that again (August, Norfolk, hot as blazes).
She is NOT voting for Romney.
One of the three stooges is at it again. Sununu says Powell endorsed Obama bc of race. Another example of team Romney living in the 60's.— Abby Huntsman (@HuntsmanAbby) October 26, 2012
She certainly isn’t
@HuntsmanAbby Actually, more like 1850 and that is at least as far back as they want to take America – especially women & AAs. #TrustBarack— Bobfr (@Our4thEstate) October 26, 2012
they might as well name it “the hunstman post” now. there’s been a giant frontpage feature with jon hunstman being interviewed in their “studio” today to pontificate about whatever he wants, and his daughter abby seems to be one of their featured propagandists every day. with this abby, yet another millionaire/billionaire child with no professional accomplishment whatsoever given a huge megaphone to carry on the big sham for the next generations. it’s clear we’re going to have to deal with jon running again in 2016 on the usual false republican “moderate” lie, just as rmoney’s family did 4 years ago. we must stop these people and their “trickle down” snake oil once and for all, otherwise they’ll just keep coming back again and again.
@HuntsmanAbby Hmmm. Methinks there are a lot of white people endorsing Romney because of race.— Mary Foster (@marylynne1) October 26, 2012
Mary Foster is on the money !
That’s a good one Abby. This Sununu is a senile racists old bastard. Ask the people who are supporting Mitt, why are they supporting him and the answer you will get is we want to get rid of that black guy in the WH. So Sununu need to shut his sick racists mouth.
John Sununu, like Rush Limbaugh, is a racist. They think that it’s o.k. for them to endorse a white guy but it’s racist for a black person to endorse another black person. I’ve got news for them. Here are some of black people that will never win the endorsement of the majority of black people: Allan Keys, Allan West, Kenneth Blackwell, and Clarence Thomas.
