Congratulations.
Oh no, i thought this was my chance ever!
By the way, congrats Kreen on being first, you are on a roll here.
Better luck next time Ahero, lol
It was. You and Kreen are tied for first place.
You’ll get there. Keep trying! That’s half the fun.
Congratulations, Kreen.
Wahaha….3′s a charm! I am unbeatable! Chips you now owe me 2 pics of Potus and Flotus!
Actually, you tied with Ahero62.
UT din’t try to rain on my parade….lol
Wait a minute, now, I didn’t know this…. Have you been training with VC, by chance?
(ps: feels awesome I bet!)
I am a student of VC’s technics, lol. Today’s my first time being first too, lol. 3 times…
Hmmmm. Seems like I need to seriously consider copyWRITing my name? Hmmmm.
Rats! Phone call; got to go again, so I’m missing ANOTHER speech and another thread!
Oh no VC…don’t worry I’ll hold the fort for you
)
Me thinks you lot are in cahoots.
Thank you, Kreen. I’ve just returned and at a glance you seem to have taken your promise to ‘hold the fort’ seriously. We are in the same thread! I have a lot of appreciation for people who keep their word.
VC, I responded to your “Sip Issue” comment in the “Rise & Shine” post! Yours was an LOL! Had to leave the room so I could laugh in peace!
Lunch! Then gone again…. Hi y’all, WTG Kreen!
Thanks Pam
[Pamela!]
Pamela
4th from the cruise ship?
I hope your picture taking skills improve!
Hi
Well top 10 isn’t bad
No, not until you land in 57th, or some such place way down below!
I bet everyone’s still on the last thread!!
I was hoping something like this would happen. I hope the DOJ puts the fear of God into those cheating scumballs.
Don’t worry they have been and will continue to watch everything. Then, there’s ANON.
Not 1st, but a respectable 6th or 7th. Congratulations to our gold medalists – Kreen and Ahero67
Or 18th?
18th is more than respectable my friend.
Look Chips….we tied for 1st with Kreen, so I will enjoy the prize too!
Dang Chips you so fast… I refresh and here’s a new thread
I found out that you better be on the refresh button Philly, that chips is one fast gal!
No lie!
Checked in at Romney’s speech on CBS long enough to see he’s doing that flop sweat thing again. He looks desperate.
I change channels when Romney comes on…I don’t care about anything he has to say…
Ditto!
I really hope there is evidence to support this, and charges are pressed… This violates EVERYONE’s right to VOTE, and that is a criminal and shameful act of disgusting proportion.
I sure hope the Obama campaign is onto all of this shit.
C-Span has changed their time to 3:40. He’s been running about that far behind all day–Short night last night.
i actually looked at the Romney rally for a few minutes, too — couldn’t take any more — but he seems very lackluster and the crowd cannot compare to the ones our President is drawing!
Streaming of the rally has started at CNN: http://edition.cnn.com/video/flashLive/live.html?stream=4
Thanks chips, anyone have any idea when PBO is arriving?
Great photos of PBO from today
http://www.buzzfeed.com/andrewkaczynski/six-photos-of-president-obama-campaigning-in-sprin
Those are fantastic, close up photos ck! Thanks for sharing them.
CK, the marching band young man against the wall brought a smile to my face!
My sister who lives in Charlotte NC was at an OFA campaign office volunteering and to their surprise Dr. Jill Biden and her daughter showed up. My sister called me super excited and said that she took tons of photos. I am waiting on her to send them to me via email.
On another note she said that she has been getting robo calls telling her that she is “not registered to vote,” and trying to tell her stuff to do although she early voted the first day of early voting in NC lmao…
Sometimes Frum makes a funny! I say “sometimes” because I rarely peak at his writings or TV appearances. Here’s his words to his people come next Wednesday morning:
“If Romney loses the election on Tuesday, we’ll hear a lot of after the fact talk about how he lost because he was too moderate, inauthentic, not a real conservative, etc. etc. etc.
Here’s my test and challenge to those who will say this:
We’re now heading into the climactic weekend of the election. If you believe a “real conservative” message is a winner, shouldn’t you right now be publicly urging Mitt Romney to say out loud : YES I will cut taxes for the rich, YES I will cut Medicaid, YES I will reinvent Medicare as a voucher system, YES I will favor a human life amendment to ban abortion in all cases, YES I believe it’s a major priority to reverse same-sex marriage, YES i was right to say let the auto industry go bankrupt, NO I don’t believe in global warming, NO I don’t think it’s important we cover the uninsured, NO I think we have enough immigrants already, NO I won’t withdraw from Iraq and Afghanistan, NO I don’t think we should provide the existing level of food stamps and income support to the unemployed, etc. etc. etc.
Shouldn’t you be urging Romney to remind Americans that Obama is an alien, a radical, somebody bent on destroying everything good and decent in America?
If that’s the winning message, shouldn’t you be pleading with Romney to say it now?”
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/11/02/a-pre-election-challenge-for-real-conservatives.html
This week has been chock full of loveliness!
The comments are hilarious! The “conservatives” are crying in their tea, and they are being laughed at – by former Republicans who have seen the light; some of whom have voted for President Obama… I’ve been avoiding comments, but I’m glad I read this set.
Dear God Ms Chips…but that video on the last thread sent CHILLS down my spine, absolutely freaking horrible! I am going to send it to everyone I know!
Moved to tears!
Booman tells them to get off his lawn come Wednesday:
“We here in Pennsylvania welcome Paul Ryan and his Sith Overlord to the Keystone State for some last minute campaigning. It is a tradition that Republicans convince themselves that they can win Pennsylvania and visit us during the last four days of election season. Poppy did it in 1992, Dole did it in 1996, Dubya did it in 2004, and McCain did it in 2008. None of them won the hearts and minds of Pennsylvanians. We rejected them all, just as we will reject Mitt Romney. And then we never want to see him again. Like, ever. In any context. Not even on the Charlie Rose Show. Just get lost and don’t come back and stay off of the television and don’t write stupid op-eds about who you think should go broke. We’ve had enough. You are a very unpleasant man and we are tired of you.
So, welcome to Pennsylvania. I hope you enjoy our beautiful fall colors. Grab yourself a sandwich. But, come Wednesday, you better be gone, and gone for good.”
http://www.boomantribune.com/story/2012/11/2/104922/048
I love it!
*not even on the Charlie Rose Show*
Genius!
Brutal Video!!!!!!!!
BOOM! If that ad doesn’t convince folks – nothing will.
The juxtaposition is chilling.
That is mos def brutal.
This is the first time I’ve seen any footage of him at the RNC. He looks like he’s wearing a TON of make-up. UGH.
What a jackass. And he thinks he’s being so cuuuuuuute. Ugh.
Bodyslam! Man that is an AWESOME video!
Booman, again:
“I am sure it is just a coincidence that the polls are only beginning to discover that no one likes Mitt Romney on the last weekend of the campaign. His campaign should have collapsed a month ago, but it was kept on oxygen by unprincipled pollsters and a dying media desperate for eyeballs.”
http://www.boomantribune.com/story/2012/11/2/16214/8638
“…a dying media desperate for eyeballs.” That is the most accurate sentence about our current media–not they are in the tank for this or that candidate. They like their money more than they like their country. Again, for prospective, watch the movie NETWORK from the 70′s. It’s been down hill for a looong time.
All the polls on Ohio show Pres. Obama maintaining a steady lead.
Man he’s PO’d!!! Getting much more direct and intense …
#TrustBarack He’s Earned It
Pres. Obama has a solid firewall in Ohio. Romney hasn’t been leading in most if not all of the swing state/battleground state polls that have recently been released.
A few dance steps as he leaves the stage
He is having a ball!!!!!
#FORWARD
Much of his time is devoted to writing: “I am always working on something, even now. But I can’t tell you about it. I believe in superstitions. You don’t talk about a child who hasn’t been born.”
He did, however, agree to disclose an interesting project that will resume after the presidential elections in the United States. “[President Barack] Obama and I decided to write a book together, a book of two friends,” he says.
Wiesel became friends with Obama in 2009, a few months after the Democratic candidate was elected. Obama’s staff invited Wiesel to join the president on a visit to the site of Buchenwald concentration camp in Germany. Wiesel had first arrived at the camp at the end of World War II, with his father and other prisoners, following a death march from Auschwitz. His mother and his younger sister were murdered there, while Wiesel and his father, who did forced labor there, survived; his father died at Buchenwald. Only Wiesel and two of his sisters were still alive at the liberation.
When Obama concluded his remarks at Buchenwald, he whispered to Wiesel, “The last word has to be yours here.” Choking with tears, Wiesel made an impromptu speech in which he said to Obama, “Mr. President, we have such high hopes for you, because you, with your moral vision of history, will be able and compelled to change this world into a better place … You are our last hope.”
Since then, he adds, the two have become good friends and he is occasionally invited to dinner by the president: “We talk about philosophy, contemplation, thought, but never about politics. He is a thinking person, a person with depth and intellectual curiosity.”
Do you never talk about Israel?
“From time to time we also mention Israel. He is critical about some things – but show me any president who has not been. I try to explain to him the meta-historical aspect of what is happening in Israel and of the Jewish destiny. I have faith in him. You can talk to him. He is a good listener.”
Actually, Wiesel and Obama first met many years ago, when Wiesel was invited to lecture at the California college in which Obama was a student. “Your lecture has stayed with me to this day,” the president told him years later. “When I heard that, my pulse went up,” Wiesel says. “I told myself that I have to be careful, because I can never know whether anyone in the audience will be a future president.”
http://www.haaretz.com/weekend/week-s-end/elie-wiesel-is-up-to-his-neck-in-work.premium-1.473974
Good for Elie, but there willl always be a stain on his character because of his opposition to recognition in the Holocaust Memorial museum of the suffering of the Roma at the hands of the Nazis. I admired him endlessly until I read Bury Me Standing by Isabel Fonseca, never felt the same about him again. But good, the Israel lobby is all powerful.
Chips, thanks for that bit of info. Wonder how PBO feels about that?
I’m sad to hear that. But, I’m thrilled at his account of the occasional dinners with President Oama
WOW! Just wow!
“Holocaust survivor, writer and philanthropist Elie Wiesel is writing a book with President Barack Obama, he tells Ofer Aderet in an interview published in Haaretz Friday ….”
Read more: http://backchannel.al-monitor.com/#ixzz2B6DgzfQm
Full interview here: http://www.haaretz.com/weekend/week-s-end/elie-wiesel-is-up-to-his-neck-in-work.premium-1.473974
I read this earlier and it is a great read. I especially enjoyed the fact that he said that he doesn’t discuss politics with PBO but described PBO as a “deep thinker” and as having intellectual curiousity.
“…and as having intellectual curiosity.” Yep! Unlike Willard & Dubya. Can. Not. Go. Back! Forward!
I love the friendship shared by these two people.
I agree with you Melissa – though I’ve never interviewed POTUS, but I know that it would be one of my favorite moments too!
Nice! Hopeful, too.
Impressive Michael More tweet …
#TrustBarack
I just can’t . . . Bobfr, Michael Moore is an ass.
Yes it is great that he voted for PO because every vote counts but his behavior over the past 3+ years has been atrocious.
Right now it’s GOTV — even the votes of people we don’t like. Even when GOTV is championed by assholes. We still have to get people to the polls.
Thank you
YEP!
Hi Bob, Have you seen any info regarding voting in New York from Cuomo or Bloomberg?
No
A Question: Isn’t a US citizen required to get a visa to enter/exit Russia? This is regarding Romney fils’ visit to Russia:
“The Russian Embassy in Washington said it was unaware of the trip. ‘We haven’t got any information about Mr. Romney and his visit to Moscow,’ said Yevgeny Khorishko, an embassy spokesman. “He didn’t inform us about his visit.”
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/02/us/politics/matt-romney-goes-to-russia-for-business.html?ref=todayspaper&_r=0
Wouldn’t embassy in DC know who the heck got a visa?
That’s supposed to be the way it works, but maybe not for royalty. Kings and Queens go wherever the like ya know? ;-D
Strangely enough, they now get the security briefing, I hope they did not leak any info to the Russians.
No WAY any of the Romneys would do THAT jovie. You’ll recall the Good Governor called out the Russians as our No. 1 Geopolitical Foe and we know that HE knows of what he speaks…
/snark off
Despite the fact he endorsed PBO, Bloomberg is such a complete ass. I feel so bad for the people on Staten Island. Of course, they don’t know the reason there hasn’t been help earlier is that their lovely mayor, Michael Bloomberg, REJECTED help from FEMA the Saturday before the storm hit and told them to go elsewhere. Accordingly, there were no FEMA supplies or workers prepositioned for the city of NY. I am cynical enough to beolieve that part of his endorsement for PBO was done with the hope that the Obama Administration will not point this out to the people of his city who are so desperate due his mistake in judgment.
He seems to be more concerned with his damned marathon than Staten Island.
Marathon has been cancelled. Ya think, Bloomberg?
The MSM has not pointed this out either . They just contiune to show people in Staten Island complaining about where’s the help. They need to get in contact with Bloomberg. This seems like his problem.
I noticed this, just making Katrina comparisons. But then again we certainly wouldn’t expect the MSM to do their jobs and report the FACTS.
The Marathon on Sunday has been called off.
I agree with you 100 percent and am unsure how this is the presidents fault when it’s Michael the jackass Bloomberg that refused help from FEMA when it was so obviously needed.
BREAKING: We’re going to formally endorse PBO this evening! Sorry it on a Friday! — TODers
********My daughter has seen an image on FB twice so it is obviously making its rounds on FB. It is: Image of a tax compliant form and is saying that but has been beginning in 2014 that Obamacare will start requiring you to disclose personal health information to the IRS. She would like to counter this claim with factual info. Can anyone help???????????
The only thing the IRS in 2014 will ask is if you have health insurance. Period.
Thanks. Is there some link I could send her. I do not have time right now to research this. Huge thanks in advance.
This would definitely get Obama a win!
Lurker in for a comment. Greetings to this wonderful village! ShittMitt is so desperate right now, I am not surprise if he actually did this, but I think Seamus will be taken before Ann.
For real and I think Seamus is dead already.
The NY marathon is Now officially off. Staten Island…..got their wish and those runners who have said No.
GOOD! It didn’t make any damn sense to hold it.
“Obama is good for Israel
The outcome of the elections will be determined by the voters’ decision as to which of the two candidates is good for America. But if any of them are vacillating in their vote over whether Obama has been a good president for Israel, the answer is yes.”
ibid.
#TrustBarack
Haaretz is really not Israel’s top newspaper and it’s as surprising more or less as the New York Times endorsement of Barack, but I’m all into misleading Twitter world right now
Beside, everything they wrote is true, so…
How are you, my friend? Still breathing?
Doing well, bwd, while doing all my company building while trying to find every spare second to do something to help our President and fellow Democrats. How about you, good friend?
It did give me a bit of a smile – ‘Israel’s Top Newspaper’ – but, as you note, it’s such a fine and accurate endorsement.
#TrustBarack
Well what do you know. Israel top newspaper endorse President Obama.
Heads up for Michelle Obama:

New York marathon cancelled by Mayor Bloomberg. Postponed per media
Rudy “Noun, Verb, 9/11″ Giuliani will be pissed. He went on radio to support Bloomberg’s initial decision to hold the race.
Look like FLOTUS have a nice crowd there.

I agree with Rachel here. This is outrageous. That Gov. Scott is one sick blank.
So, how is everybody doing? Nervous and unable to focus on anything like me?
Refreshing like crazy. What am I expecting to happen? Don’t know, but it sure helps the nerves.
Me too! Refreshing non stop and literally not taking my eyes off of twitter. Horrible.
THIS!
FLOTUS is LIVE NOW at Virginia State University. Also LIVE on C-SPAN One.

Hey Tweeters, can you please start hitting the MSM on their failure to report that the city is lacking in FEMA help is due to the fact that BLOOMBERG rejected FEMA aid last Saturday and told them to go elsewhere? These nightly reports of no help are hurting and no one is to blame but Bloomberg, NOT the federal government. There was no prestaging of personnel and supplies because Bloomberg told Craig Fugate he did not want their help.
They know , it is being pushed by the Robney Camp!
Let’s see if Letterman will call him out … more likely than MSN doing anything about it …
#TrustBarack
Tweet Rachel, maybe SHE will talk about it. But I agree, every national pundit , every journalist in NYC should be inundated with tweets point out that Bloomberg is the one who made a mistake here.
8 and 6 pts. There goes Mitts “expanded map.”
Have just had 10 min to listen to First Lady Obama – she is truly fierce. Amazing intensity and cogency. We are all so fortunate to have her fighting for all of us.

A nice, calm and respectable lady went into the pharmacy, walked up to the pharmacist, looked straight into his eyes, and said,” I would like to buy some cyanide.”
The pharmacist asked,” Why in the world do you need cyanide?”
The lady replied, “I need it to poison my husband.”
The pharmacist’s eyes got big and he exclaimed, “Lord have mercy! I can’t give you cyanide to kill your husband. That’s against the law! I’ll lose my license! They’ll throw both of us in jail! All kinds of bad things will happen. Absolutely not! You CANNOT have any cyanide!”
The lady reached into her purse and pulled out a picture of her husband in bed with the pharmacist’s wife.
The pharmacist looked at the picture and replied, “Well now, that’s different. You didn’t tell me you had a prescription.”
hhahahahaha,,,,Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

On Rev. Al——–can’t believe that FOXNews had a big headline “Bloomberg endorses Romney!”
FOX has been such a destructive force in this country with their post-truth agenda, responsible for keeping their viewers in some other world twilight zone, making them dumb, dumber, dumbest.
OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG….this is the next to last day of early voting in Florida. I drove pass my polling place, the line is wrapped around the building. Those folks are going to be there until 9PM tonight…..(an AuntSis estimate).
Family, we are in the home stretch. I wont be around this weekend especially with tomorrow being the last day of early voting. Sunday & Monday are phone calls and Tuesday is a day of driving folks to the poll locations. I am so excited. This is really fun.
Yes, auntsis, it is SO much FUN helping all our fellow citizens realize the importance of, and participate in the re-election of President Obama. Thank you for all you are doing!!
#TrustBarack
Rev. Al aired a segment of a radio interview that he did with President Obama today, who made the point which to me is key and obvious——-we have more registered voters than they do. If our voters show up to vote, we win, simple as that. So it is encouraging to see people are indeed showing up to vote—–long lines reported everywhere.

Good ole boys club mentality is hard to break, even when members of that club have kicked you when you were down. SMH
In case anyone’s wondering:
Also, I’ve seen a number of references to this pointing back to a DailyKos article about this too, but of course, DK is down (servers in NYC), so you can get to that one right now.
Bloomberg: ““President Obama asked Craig Fugate from FEMA to call me earlier in the day and offer any help. I assured him that we had, we think, everything under control but we appreciate the effort. What FEMA really can do is to help those parts of the country that don’t have all of the extensive facilities and agencies and practice that New York City does. But I did want to thank them for their offer.” 27 October 2012

Mitt Romney Ignores Troops, Vets And Foreign Policy In ‘Closing Argument’ Speech
This includes several of the more populated counties in Ohio. So glad to hear that!!
wow what a load of hogwash- holy smokes, not one fact in the whole 8 minutes of interviews. Sickening.
Boo!!! A Buddhist Takeover of America! It’s happening! Be afraid! Be very afraid! OMG!
It sure looks like Romney supporters are the dumbest people in America, no contest! Embarrassing and shameful! All that lack of awareness on display! Horrors!
Um, izzat the same thang az that there Sherry law, they wuz talkin’ about while back? We’ on’t wont nun o dat eether.
a buddhist take over. LOL Randy was discussing this on her show. Someone said that didn’t feel safe and saw drones in OHIO. I am sorry but their stupidity is really ROTFL. That wasn’t a drone lady, it was a freaking UFO!! haha.
This is what comes from a steady diet of FOX NEWS
So true. Someone should send them the video so they can marvel at the fruits of their labor.
Have these idiots been living on the moon? The ignorance is staggering!!
You gotta know after viewing this that the education system at this location is in bad shape. These folks have been stupid for a looooong time!
I SWEAR TO GOD I have a rubber Halloween mask with white hair that looks exactly, EXACTLY like that rwnj lady with the nasty hair!!!! Although the mask is smarter….
Ha! I can believe it.
I thought her face was going to fall off she was so irritated. What a horrible life.
Her face falling off would be a HUGE quality of life improvement for her…..and everyone that ever sees her.
:–D
I’m here all evening!! Try the veal!!
Again, I tell you, america does not deserve this man. I hope and pray this is a dying pool of genes.
How can something be so funny and so frightening at the same time?! There are lots of doozies in here, but I think my favorite has to be the woman who claims that Obama’s father was a Muslim, an atheist and a communist — “all three!”
The complete trifecta CD collection. Terrifying.
All the while taking pride in the fact that she’s a “Christian.” UGH.
yes the hypocrisy is mind-boggling.
amk for obama, I don’t know where you got that video from, but every single one of those people are sick, and yes I am going to say it, they are racists. It is a crying shame that we have people like them in this country.
Agree 100%.
Nothing they said were base on facts. I bet if the guy had ask them to say one good thing about President Obama, they wouldn’t have. They are a embarrassment to the country, to the human race.
Accusing Valerie Jarrett of something, but don’t know what it was she was accusing Ms. Jarrett of. President Obama is spending his tax dollars, when the guy ask him to name something the President was spending his tax money on that he didn’t want him to be spending it on, he couldn’t name a thing. And the lady with the coo-coo hair, Obama is a Muslim but he attended that church for twenty years. Obama didn’t bring the country together, being the first black President he had the chance, but he fail to do so. That is so dam stupid. Why should it fall on Obama shoulder to bring the country together, why didn’t Bush 1 or 2 bring the country together? I’m sorry but I am so thankful I don’t run into people like that. Now let me go look out my window and see if i can see the Drone flying over my house.
“I don’t know where you got that video from”
a Mitt Romney rally
The interviewer did a wonderful job in exposing the ignorance and lies that are being every vote for Mitt Romney.
Yes, he was very clever. Some of their others vids are also great (in exposing the rwnj’s).
http://www.newleftmedia.com/
Is that the same lady with the bad hair at McCain’s rally? Randi played clips of this today. Hilarious if not so pathetic.
This makes me laugh, now wait, it makes me shudder, no laugh, um no shudder… don’t know if to laugh or shudder so I’m left doing both and wondering if I’m coming down with something…..hahaha eeewww hahaha
I really had to laugh at this video. What a bunch of dumb, idiotic stupid hicks!
Bush a great president? REALLY?!?! I remember this interviewer from some other political videos but I really can’t remember them. I do wonder if it was a black guy was asking this question would they be opening up as well?

frankly, how big of him. He’s been a petty jackass against the President every chance he got. Sorry he blew his own political career, but it’s not PBO’s fault.
i am not his biggest fan…but it was a very nice endorsement coming from a network of Pretend progressives
I have the utmost respect for you, so I’ll watch with an open mind. Hey, I’m the first one to accept anyone under our big tent!
((((57)))
Pretend Progressives…Can I use that?
I call them poutrage brigade. Also. Too. fauxgressives.
hahahahahaha…yup!!!!
Spitzer kinda makes me gag when he’s not talking and most of the time when he IS talking, he makes me wanna throw something at him. Happy for the endorsement though, if it means anything to voters out there.
Only one I watch on Current evening lineup with any interest and then only rarely is Jen Granholmn.
Bill Press is on when I’m getting ready for work in the morning, really only, cuz like what else is there?
I loves me some Stephanie Miller but miss her often cuz I’m at work when she’s on. I listen to her on the interwebs when I can.
Thanks tally for keeping this alive. Saw a tweet saying that DOJ is watching the OH & FL polls. thugs are fucking scums.
I hope there are some programmers who are going over that “Propreitary software” with @TheJusticeDept down there in OHIO.
Hi Tally, thanks for your brilliant mind and keen eyes. You are a great help in keeping this out in front.
Promise you the DOJ is watching and doing their work for the American people like never before according to the law. Let us keep it out front. ((((((( Love you babe.))))))))HZ
Thank you HZ!!! LOVE YOU!!!!!
The right really believes in waste. I voted last Saturday and do you that I have received a mailed flyer from RomenyRyan every day this week. I don’t understand their ground game at all. I have been voting for the democrat party all of my natural life. I don’t know what database they got a hold of, but the fact that nobody bothered to check that fact is simply astonishing. Repubs, you’re doing a heck of a job.
CNN is now delving deeper into the Benghazi situation with the Erin Burnett. Where do these people come from? She should be on faux!
NPR did a thorough “debunking” of the conspiracy theory about Pratt Romney (or whatever Romney’s son is called) owning voting machines. They called it an outright lie, and then spent six minutes laying out a defense that absolutely raised more questions that it answered – including the fact that members of the Board of the company that owns the machines are bundlers for Romney… Not a very good defense – but what was striking was the fact that I’ve never heard NPR make a vigorous debunk of all the right wing conspiracy theories put forward by the GOP against President Obama – including this offensive Benghazi garbage.

Yes We Can
President Barack Obama has edged back in front of GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney in Colorado, but the race remains a statistical tie, according to the results of the last Denver Post poll.
Obama leads Romney by two percentage points in the poll, 47 percent to 45 percent. That reverses a one-point lead Romney held in a poll released in October. A poll in September showed Obama with a one-point lead on Romney.
All the results have been within the polls’ margins or error, which for this survey is 3.8 percent.
Most significant in the results, the poll shows Obama winning among people who say they have already cast a ballot, 49 percent to 46 percent. Voters who say they plan to vote before Election Day also swing toward Obama, 45 percent to 42 percent.
Voters planning to cast a ballot on Election Day break for Romney, 47 percent to 42 percent.
http://www.denverpost.com/ci_21914514/politics/poll-obama-romney-still-essentially-tied-colorado
So with all three possible cases covered and averaged, that works to 47-43.3. How did they arrive at 47-45 ?
Mrs. Marian Robinson writes a beautiful op-ed:
http://thegrio.com/2012/11/02/marian-robinson-election-2012-is-too-important-to-sit-on-the-sidelines/
lovely, made me a little misty.
It was a lovely op-ed from the First Grandma.
However, I think I have to oppose her “voting is easy”. What I have seen of early voting this year (or voting in the US in previous election years) – it is not easy.
Voting in the Netherlands is easy. I ride (my bicycle) up to the voting place at 7:30 in the morning. There is no line; I show my ID (necessary to have with you anyway); they check my name on the list; I take the ballot, vote and return it into the box. 2 Minutes max.
Then I bike on to work (being 40 minutes late because normally I leave at 7 a.m.).
Voting in an old and large democracy like the US with 230+ years of experience is.to.damn.hard.
Sounds like they’re getting desperate at the Willard rally—-Guiliani and McCain said to be going “off the rails”.
Why not just get it over with and put on a white sheet, 100% cotton — of course!!!
Thread count naught!
Good. Let them debase themselves for this shallow idiot that nobody likes. GOP circling the drain.
the more they expose themselves as the uninformed, ignorant racists they are, the better.
Bob i was kinda hoping to c an ad summarizing all the unknowns about mitt as part of the closing arguments
Looks like we can put Maine in the bank
Yes. Everyone I talk with and everyone in my office is enthusiastically on board. I have friends that are lifelong rethugs that have Obama/Biden signs in their yard. Probably why they are still friends
Maine is mostly libs mixed with Libertarian ‘leave us alone’ types. Teabaggers are loud but in the minority. Even those Mormons I know (large pockets of Mormons in Maine) are saying they don’t like Romney or the company he keeps. Will they pull the lever for him in the privacy of their polling booth? Time will tell.
Republican dirty tricks disgust me.
ok – is it me, or is Keith Boykin EDIBLE?
AWESOME, Tally. Thank you. I’m so effing sick of this mess. They play games with out democracy and pretend to be superior to Democrats. Screw them!
Oh, sweeeeeet!!
I’m thinking of our Donna Dem and college kay who were lucky enough to receive personal phone calls from POTUS. What a trip this has been for all of us!!!!
Be still my heart, seeing our president making calls is just so….I shouldn’t be having thoughts like this about any man who is not my husband, I guess it’s time to break out the naughty mat!
Can you imagine, you answer the phone call and it’s the President!!
That is so cool. He really is just a normal person (and extraordinary, at the same time)!
Love the pink bracelet on PBO. Makes him even more sexy, his compassion, humanity … the list is long
compare this to the fucking fraudster at FL.
I know, right?
I’ve been looking at the baby photos – which highlight so perfectly everything that is good about PBO and everything that is bad about Mitt Romney. Why is a man, who has had 5 children, and been a wannabe politician for 20 years, unable to lovingly hold a babe??
Every parent in the country should be having a very long thought about someone who demonstrates every day his love for children & someone who dismisses them as not worthy of his time.
The answer as to why Romney is so uncomfortable around babies is easy–he left the child rearing to his wife and the nannies! I doubt if he ever changed a diaper on any one of his five kids, 99ts.
I think it’s more than that – Romney sees nothing positive AT ALL in being a friend to a babe or a child. I have never been know as the world’s best Mom – probably trending in the other direction – but a babe’s head on the shoulder – or a child’s look of unconditional love – that is something every person should see and love – Mitt Romney does not.
This touched me…
God continue to bless and heal Matthew…
Hurricane Sandy relief show, moderated by Matt Lauer and starring Bon Jovie, Springsteen, Christina Aquillara and others is airing now for 60 uninterrupted minutes. I’m watching on MSNBC, but I believe there are other outlets for viewing as well.
ok – I have never though Jon Bon Jovi was hot – until right now.
Of course dwarves are hotter…… I’m just saying, I find it odd to find him sexy….. but like fine wine…..
Heh, jbj was hot even before hot became hawt.
And I say that as a dood.
HAAAAAAAAAA. I’ve never thought he was cute until tonight.
Very tired but very excited at the same time. Such a weird feeling. I think we’re all just running on adrenaline at this point.
This has been such an extraordinary experience. But I must say, I can’t wait to WIN this election and watch our distinguished POTUS and his family address the nation from a position of victory once again. Oh, please make it so.
Just when you thought …

And also Maricopa and Pima Counties in AZ… (Phoenix and Tucson) gee…wonder why???
Well…that didn’t work very well! This was in response to the DOJ sending people to oversee the voting process in certain states and counties….
amk…that is not logical. Why would he create ‘rethugs’ if he did not like what he created? Would that not mean he liked ‘rethugs’ better?
The money quote. He wanted to start over.
Paging Chipstarrrrrr — If you’re anywhere in the vicinity, could we please have a new thread. This one is clunkytime.
Why are democrats supposed to take attack on attack without fighting back – current examples
1. the implied attack on FEMA (and the administration) because the Mayor of NY realized somewhat late that he needs federal aid
2. the open attacks on Nate Silver – because he fought back against the dumber than dumb critics – he is unworthy as a “maths” guy. Maths nerds and Presidents are supposed to do everything right – but never never argue when they are attacked with lies.
This annoys me intensely – I want to shout from the mountains – what an absolute corrupt and disgusting media supports this sh..
Which mountains will you be shouting from? I may join you there…
I hope Arizona follows this example:
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — California has reached an all-time high of 18.2 million registered voters, while the number of registered Republicans has fallen below 30 percent, signaling a worrisome decline for the state’s minority party, officials said Friday.[...]
This appears to be the lowest ebb for the party since records have been available.

Mitt is ugly – that is all
I texted REDCROSS to 90999 tonight. (More than once) I hope others will also. $10 x 1m ppl, or x 2m = big relief for a world of hurt.
Thank you
I went on ITunes/Red Cross and donated there”
Did it give you an acknowledgement message, LS? I texted a couple of times after signing off in the very early hours this morning but all I got back in response was the Red Cross number for my country with a request for a $5 donation. Since this is my new, and first text, phone I wasn’t sure if it was asking for this instead of the 90999 or in addition to. I turned it off and went to bed.
hmmm no I didn’t get an acknowledgement, other than the text was sent. I will give it a little while then go online to see what my bill says.
Hey, wait a minute! This was the same thread I left on, just after the President gave his thank yous. Hmmm. maybe I haven’t missed as much as I thought. That’s good. I’ll tell you about my adventure anyway.
Evening TODobots! Finally made it back! Harumph! I’ve got to say, I don’t know if it’s because I missed 85% of today’s action here that my mind decided to find its own excitement, but it sure did.
Dreaming of replacing my upper flooring with hardwood, I noticed there’s an auction tomorrow and was making plans to attend. You may not know, but I flirt with optimism from time to time, so I decided to clean one side of the garage to store my bargain, juuussst in case. At about the time President O started his 5pm speech, I got two young helpers and started moving stuff around, making slow but noticeable progress through my accumulated mess. Well, wouldn’t you know, two moments after I sent each off in different directions (probably just when the president was about to slap the podium) I
slappedpulled on the wrong piece of wood, and wham I was on my back on the floor with two (pressure board) 5-shelf wall units (connected on the sides) on top of me and the contents strewn all around. They had been mounted on the wall – to help keep stuff off the floor, you know? Talk about shock! Fortunately nothing was broken or strained. I was banged in the head by the top of one unit and got a good jar on the bum, but seem okay otherwise. The boys came quickly at the ruckus and were able to lift the units off me.Needless to say, the big garage cleaning was not completed as efficaciously as I would have liked and whether or not I make it to tomorrow’s auction remains to be seen. In truth not only because of the ‘drama’, but also because the rental van I thought was reserved for me seemed, when I phoned to verify pickup, to have been given to someone else even though I have an order number. Sooooo, there you have it TODobots, you needn’t think action doesn’t find me when I’m offline for hours!
You’re nutz to try that stunt. Safety first, woman.
Oh, it wasn’t meant to be a stunt, hence my shock. I didn’t realize the wood was also supporting the shelves. It just looked out of place and since I was tidying up…..
Well, it is a stunt. Better check with your doctor.
wimmin/smh.
Can’t check with her until Monday and by then I should be too immersed in election stuff to remember this fall….. I sure hope.
Of course, if I had stuck with my doing-no-housework kick which took possession of me when I signed the pledge to TODville, it wouldn’t have happened. I admit it is all my fault for not sticking to my resolve.
BTW, Amk, you’re up early. Have you signed the TOD Celebration Alcohol Consumption Pledge yet? Don’t over-think it. Sign now! Your friends and family will love you for it! Limited time offer! Once gone, may never return! An offer like this comes only once or twice in a lifetime! ..
Wait, wait I missed it …what alcohol pledge were we supposed to sign? I don’t know how Tuesday is going to affect me. I know we have to be at the office, and I am not sure I am up to it.
Nothing to worry about, DaisyD. We (as in some of us wack-obots) are still hatching out the alcohol consumption terms for our Tuesday-night, all-day-Wednesday election party. [This is secret, but..] Amk has been assigned to me /whisper – by the good Lord/ as a hard case, so I am trying to get him to sign a contract up front. It’s the only way I can imagine being able to keep a lid on him on Tuesday, as I figure, being an engineer he is a man of his written word.
.
Alcohol. Consumption. What is there not to like ? Signed and dotted.
You should seriously see the doc asap. Tell her I sent you.
You got your ears lowered already, Amk? Do they look good, or do they look like they have aged?
My doc is out of commission until Monday, and calling her number gets a recording that says if it’s an emergency go to the hospital emergency, or something like that. You ever been to the emergency? From my experience with my offspring, if they don’t see blood, find a fever, or hear you groaning in pain it takes AGES for the triage nurse to see you, and another aeon before a doctor sees you, if you are lucky. I’ll tell her you sent me on Monday, depending on how the weekend unfolds. Seriously, I’ll go to emergency before if I feel at all out of sorts. I promise.
LOL! why did I know that amk would be the first to respond to VC’s adventure?
But seriously, thank goodness you ARE SAFE, vc. Next time, don’t try this at home.
WOW VC!!! So glad you were not injured badly. After all of that, I do hope you’re able to get the hardwood at the auction and pick it up once you have a suitable vehicle if you can’t locate a rental van, tomorrow.
Take care.
#FORWARD
TY, Bobfr. You have no idea how glad I am nothing was broken, tho I did warn my offspring if I get a concussion later he’s to call my sister to come help him. All being well tomorrow morning, I`ll make a few calls to nearby rental agencies to see about a van. It means I`ll get a later start so have no/less time to preview, but we’ll see. Or I may not feel up to it at all after today’s body jar settles in. We’ll see.
Check your Twitter DMs
OMG please take care of yourself and don’t hesitate to get a medical opinion if you don’t feel ‘right’ not just bruised. Sending healing light to surround you. ((((vc))))
LS, growing up I was often told I was hard-headed so I’m hoping that proves to be the case. TY for the hugs – they do help.
Well my grandma used to say “a hard head will get you a soft behind”
Same here. VC you better take care of yourself woman. We need you out there! If you feel anything out of sorts tomorrow, you go see a doctor right away — no being stubborn!
Don’t worry, Dudette and LunarS, I will. The thought of being out of commission for Tuesday is incentive enough for me not to play around if I don’t feel right tomorrow. I already booked the days off my on-call job so I’d be able to concentrate on the President and not have to be half listening in case I was needed.
Have you checked your Twitter DMs VC?
#FORWARD
sounds like a scary accident–so glad you weren’t injured!
Hi Susanne, nice to see you! I feel okay, no aches or pain anywhere, so I’m assuming I’m okay though I am a wee bit nervous about going to sleep. I’ll be more relaxed when tomorrow comes.
hope you’ll take the day to limber up and recover. we all need to be ready to celebrate on tuesday!
VC – so sorry to hear about your mishap. Make sure you take an Advil or something tonight to help with any swelling or pain. And I agree with amk – you really should get to a doctor to check on everything. What a scary “adventure”!
Hi Theo. {THeo} It was scarier because I was actually not in search of an adventure at all! All I wanted to do was finish the job so I could get back inside and on line. .Anyway, apart from a certain hesitancy to go to sleep I am not spooked any more and I do feel fine, thank you.
Ask your son to check in on you in an hour or two. But, if you’re not feeling any of the following – you’re probably ok (from the MayoClinic site): Headache or a feeling of pressure in the head, Temporary loss of consciousness, Confusion or feeling as if in a fog, Amnesia surrounding the traumatic event, Dizziness or “seeing stars”, Ringing in the ears, Nausea or vomiting, Slurred speech, Fatigue.
nate is taking baby steps towards my 343. He is at 303.7 today with the kenyan muslin’s chances at 81.4%.

Bill Clinton put in a full day—-5 Fl. cities—-last stop tonight at Fl. St., speaking to a crowd of 4000.
Wow. Go Bill.
I’m very impressed with Bill Clinton’s support of this President. He’s doing an amazing thing, and an amazing job. Very grateful.
Jovie your updates on early voting in FL have been very impressive and are truly appreciated. Thanks!
Agree. Thank you Jovie!
No problem guys. Rachel is actually being very informative on this, right now.
Yes, one of my sisters saw the segment and called me about it bursting with excitement.
Up to 81.4% – If I am watching today’s Rachel on the interwebs & not a repeat (I really don’t know, being on the other side of the world) she just had Nate on – 19 polls today in battleground states – one was even, 18 favored PBO
Yup, clean sweep. Home stretch, baybee.
LOVE IT!!!!!
Excellent.
Ok, I am off to get a hair-cut. (wifey unit’s bugging. wimmin/smh)
Everyone keep an eye on vc for she seems bent on retesting the theory of gravity.

I can’t pretend to understand how Rick Scott can get away with such blatant voter suppression tactics. Where is the F***ing Court? Why can’t the justice dept stop him using the Voting Rights Act? This is ridiculous. I hope Floridians answer this wake-up call.
If I had to wait 5 hours to vote – I truly wouldn’t vote – in my world 30 minutes is seen as excessive. Apart from anything else – why don’t they have more poll workers, voting machines (if they must use machines) – it is truly crazy that a state of a democracy such as the USA makes it really really difficult for people to vote
Answer:
Rick Scott is not interested in advancing Democracy..he wants to suppress the vote because he knows that this is the only way Romney can win the state….
I waited 4 1/2 hrs to vote for PBO the first time and that was on an Early Vote day. We just laughed and chatted and sang civil rights era songs the whole time. “Ain’t gonna let nobody turn me around…” Somebody passed out bottles of water. Some people shared camping chairs. A barbecue truck rolled up. It was GREAT! Some things are worth fighting for AND waiting for.
Wonderful dudette – you remind me I waited in a 6 hour queue once in London (not related to elections) and we also had a great experience. I guess my brain just can’t get around the fact that Rick Scott thinks it is “normal” to expect people to queue for hours to vote – and on a work day!
and folks were walking out of Romney’s event because
- it was cold
- they didn’t like what he was saying
- they wanted to avoid the traffic to get home
They have the enthusiasm??

Saw a tweet where someone noted a steady stream of people were leaving in the middle of Willard’s rally! Not enthralled?
Willard’s fakey smirky smuggy grimace/grin must have been more nauseating than usual.
Isn’t this the rally during which the famed Marshall Tucker band was supposed to be playing?
Actually, Kid Rock ….
the GOP must hate the interwebs – now so many can find out what they are doing. My paranoia says this is how they have got most of their election victories over the past 12 years – remove the right to vote of anyone who might vote for the other guy. What they have not been able to overcome (without making the cheating so obvious that even Scalia would notice) is the GOTV of the OFA Campaign
Yep.
Tweet this to DOJ and Lis Smith.
I checked that TV station website and don’t see this news there. I did see there was a prostitution arrest at Sun City, which was semi-amusing. Viagra!
I have a feeling there is going to be a lot of problems with this election. See too many items like the one above. Seems like it’s going to be a mess. This kind of stuff should not be happening. Something needs to be done about our presidential elections at least, some uniformity, some kind of system that can be trusted. This is crazy, with every RWNJ messing with registrations and absentee ballots and voter suppression efforts of every possible dirty sort. It’s ridiculous.
I assure you, dotster, Team Obama and the DoJ and lots of others have been preparing for this for the past 4 years.
I agree.
Anticipating gloom and doom is really not a helpful attitude at this juncture. And spreading your angst around is not that helpful either. You are no t in a position to know how this thing is going to play out. The justice dept. has agents on the scene in many of the Ohio county polling sites, as well as Florida and other states.
What will he not do
“I won’t spend my effort trying to pass partisan legislation that’s unrelated to economic growth,” Romney said. “From day one, I will go to work to help Americans get back to work.”
Does he KNOW how much “partisan legislation” about controlling women’s bodies the gop controlled legislature has tried to pass in the last 2 years. In 2010 the GOP controlled legislature said from day 1 this is about jobs.
His lies are much more dangerous than those made by Sarah Palin – she just lied about her own intelligence and the President’s religion. Mitt Romney lies about what a GOP congress would do & what he would do. He is trying to blackmail the American people into voting for their own annihilation – this is scarrey stuff
Remember, DimMitt said that he would not ‘institute’ legislation to restrict choice.
No — Mitt will do it with RWNJ judges throughout the Federal courts that will significantly change our lives and the future of America well into the 21st century.

Karma. Sweet, delicious, savory karma.
He and Ann got so desperate to win they tried the biggest lie to win must-win Ohio and Ohioans were disgusted. They walked out on him.
I don’t want him another damn person tell me Debate One was a win. It was a 90-minute lie. And it was the beginning of a necessary end.
Post-truth politics failed. And it couldn’t have happened to a more evil-ass proponent of it than Willard Mitt Romney.
President Obama is +7 in Ohio, so you can keep campaigning, by all means please proceed Governor, but your politically is effectively, retroactively over as of now.
He didn’t win debate one …
President Obama quietly made salient points because he like most sane people came to the debate expecting a real discussion about each candidates position on how to move our country forward…
Sans the theatrics – which sadly our media and those who watch and listen to them seemed to demand and already decided was the basis for scoring what should have been a serious debate…
President Obama was confronted by an empty, hollow, soul-less shell who courtesy of his cheat sheets shamelessly spewed memorized lies and all without flinching or missing a beat…
Notice however that without a podium to hide his cheat sheets in subsequent debates, the empty, hollow shell came quickly unravelled – especially in the final debate where he rattled of his memorized lines which sounded often like gibberish…
This has been a great day! Tele-conf with the President this morning; rally with SLOTUS at our office this afternoon. Staging location is set. Im Fired UP! I’m ready to go!
Chips, I have a couple of comments in moderation.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA — Chips doesn’t like me!!!!! ;-(
Nate must have found some more polls
PBO 82.7% Romney 17.3 – wonder who has the momentum
Test from chrome
found my error, the accent… SORRY!
She should be seriously worried about his mental stability on the campaign. Introducing the gop congress as a positive – when it has about 5% approval – is a mentally deficient idea – not to mention the word blackmail.
On a different tack – suddenly MSNBC is seriously pro Obama – I don’t much quote the scriptures but “O ye of little faith”
Yet she knew she knew he was unstable when she encouraged him to run for office. She is worse than Willard.
Ok. This thread has gotten unwieldy.

Hopefully she’s well and will be here tomorrow morning.

Alycee, has anyone ever told you look like Ruby Dee?
Wow!
Susanne, 43 too many. No one cares about this man with all that money. What a pity. I pray that he will not try to groom those five boys to be president. Please let them ride out into the sunset and stay at their many vacation spots.
New NBC/Marist polls PBO +6 in OH 51-45 (LV) and +2 in FL 49-47 (LV) Tuesday night cannot get here fast enough for me, more nerves than I care to think about.
Getting a bit nervous about Sandy. So much damage, so much need, it’s impossible for government officials to respond to everything. So easy for republicans, and media, to point out some problems and demagogue till no end.
I wish the Obama administration embeds journalists with FEMA, the National Guard, etc… Give them IMAGES of government action. If you don’t feel the vacuum, media will only show images of suffering. President Obama and his team are doing a wonderful job, but they can’t solve everything overnight. I really hope the narrative doesn’t turn negative and it hurts the numbers before monday.
If you don’t “fill” the vacuum. Sorry for the typo lol…
I read somewhere (sorry no link) Gov Christie said he had not spoken with the President today, because he did not need to – FEMA was providing all that he wanted/asked for. Also too – New York power coming back on (per Maddow show)
The narrative of this is GOOD for the President – Fox and friends are crying to find some bad news – they want Katrina – they got a real President.
I’m noticing the same on CNN, looking for another Katrina.
CHIPS I HAVE WANDERED UPON THIS GEM WILL.I.AM IS BACK AT IT NEW SONG INSPIRED BY PBO PASS IT ALONG PLZ!!!!!!!

New anti-Obama ads running continuously —–another take on “I voted for Barack Obama last time and I’m voting for Mitt Romney in this election!”—–paid for by “Ending spending Action Fund”——wonder what billionaire that is.
They are seriously dumb – republican voters

Some of us are still here. I have enjoyed reading all the interesting stuff on the thread and catching up. This is my first night shift in a month. I have missed not having the time to read through the blog. Loved the president’s Springfield speech. It felt more like a chat between friends than a stump speech.
We’ve got more good news. It is 4 days before the election and Pres. Obama is holding a solid lead.
Wow ut. 63% early voted. Is that 63% of total 2008 voters or 63% of 2008 early voters ?
Here you go

Linky not worky for me. pay wall ?
It’s working for me and others I tweeted it to. Check your connection.
Does it answer my above question ?
Got it. It’s 63% of the total voters.
In the Sunshine State, 63 percent say they have already voted or plan to do so before Election Day, and Obama is winning them, 53 percent to 46 percent. But Romney is ahead among Election Day voters in Florida, 52 percent to 40 percent.
Strong approval for the president’s handling of Sandy
The polls were conducted after Hurricane Sandy slammed into the East Coast, and seven in 10 likely voters in Florida and Ohio approve of the president’s job in handling the hurricane and its aftermath.
“The response was overwhelmingly positive, and that was occurring across party lines,” says Lee Miringoff, director of the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion.
Florida – PBO winning the early vote, Romney winning with those who have not voted so will they vote? – good luck with the 4 hour waits on election day – how many Romney supporters have that sort of patience. No wonder Rick Scott wants to stop the early voters.
Luv it! Solid six point lead in OH. Romney’s done. And the Fl numbers are also promising, showing a real shift to Obama in Fl. Luv to see Chuck Todd’s face when he announces these results on the air.
I wonder when President Obama wins his re-election on who will be running for 2016?
My email strikes again!
The wife came home early and found her husband in their bedroom making love to a very attractive young woman. And she was somewhat upset.
‘You are a disrespectful pig!’ she cried. ‘How dare you do this to me — a faithful wife, the mother of your children! I’m leaving you.. I want a divorce right away!’
And the husband replied, ‘Hang on just a minute love so at least I can tell you what happened.
‘ ‘Fine, go ahead,’ she sobbed,’ but they’ll be the last words you’ll say to me!’
And the husband began — ‘Well, I was getting into the
car to drive home, and this young lady here asked me for a lift. She looked so down and out and defenseless that I took pity on her and let her into the car..
I noticed that she was very thin, not well dressed and very dirty. She told me that she hadn’t eaten for three days. So, in my compassion, I brought her home and warmed up the enchiladas I made for you last night, the ones you wouldn’t eat because you’re afraid you’ll put on weight. The poor thing devoured them in moments.
Since she needed a good clean-up, I suggested a shower, and while she was doing that, I noticed her clothes were dirty and full of holes, so I threw them away. Then, as she needed clothes, I gave her the designer jeans that you have had for a few years, but don’t wear because you say they are too tight.
I also gave her the underwear that was your anniversary present, which you don’t wear because I don’t have good taste.
I found the sexy blouse my sister gave you for Christmas that you don’t wear just to annoy her, and I also donated those boots you bought at the expensive boutique and don’t wear because someone at work has a pair the same.’
The husband took a quick breath and continued – ‘She was so grateful for my understanding and help that as I walked her to the door, she turned to me with tears in her eyes and said,
‘Please … Do you have anything else that your wife doesn’t use?
wimmin/smh.
Too helpful min!
smh
You cant’ blame us if it’s in our nature to help out damsels in distress.
GO to the previous thread. Spread the word. There’s LOTS of space there!!!!
shucks, even I like that one.
Alma, go to the 100 Day of Mitt’s thread, the one before this one – there’s more space to write.
What a compassionate and Charitable man! Why, indeed, waste good stuff that your wife no longer has use for.
Oh Nath and Amk bad, bad, bad…
WE ARE SOOO SLOW TONIGHT! Let’s GO BACK ONE THREAD TO THE 100 DAYS OF ROMNEY THREAD WHICH ONLY HAS 43 COMMENTS. That was how we used to problem solve when Chips Chica got held up elsewhere. Remember? Let’s go for it!
HEY! TODobots! Move back one thread. There’s lots of space there. I don’t want to talk to myself. HELL-OOOOOO!
Wake up! Wake up! We are in the previous thread, but we miss you! Come on back!
hey VC, I’ve been trying to hola back at you for ages, but I don’t know what’s going on w/ this system tonight. My PC & phone is in some slow mode. Might be the problem w/ others. Anyhoo, how the hect are you?
GM Xtine. Go to the thread before this one. We can breathe easier there. Not even sure this will go through.
By the way, why was mitt so overdressed today? Was he going to a board meeting with his rich friends or something?
Romney is so vested in his version of “looking” presidential…
It’s all an act for him and the bad costuming and choreography only serves to make him look even sillier…
Jon Ralston knows NV. He knows that 70k+ lead going into election day is huge. Sez “Mitt is serious underdog.”
I understood that the rules of posting excluded the dumping of angst and drama on this forum. If you have emotional issues and fears related to the election, please take care of them elsewhere. This place in my view is for mutual support and to support our President as he moves toward re-election to another four years.
Spot on…
These last few days must be used to positively rally for President Obama…
Focus, focus, focus…we must not be distracted…
