Why would Mark Knoller be tweeting about the number of Obama news conferences at this time?????

He did that about 45 minutes ago – I think he stated about 232 news conferences and interviews… :)

Probably in the bathroom. :)
I’m playing WoW to calm my nerves. I feel so bipolar right now. I’m FIRED UP and have so much OPTIMISM in my fellow countrymen to not let the douchebags take over… but I’m also suffering from PTSD from the Bush years, so I expect them to steal it.

okay I tuned into msnbc online… yowzers “too close to call” yah right.
I’m unpacking.. little by little.. but is keeping my anxiety at bay… plus I forgot I packed all this cool stuff ;)
One thing is certain, the media is not going to call this election until the West Coast states are done voting. So settle in for another three and a half hours, friends. All in all the preliminary exit polls and early returns are hopeful.

How is it possible to remain calm? I am normally levelheaded and sensible but I am freaking out. Until we get some good news that at least may be determinative I may not be able to slow down my pounding heart.
And no, i am not going to turn off the TV.
Hey! I have not commented for a while but I had to tonight! OMG I’m so scared! Confident but scared! My heart is racing! I want good news to calm me down! *Shaking*
“How is it possible to remain calm?”
because I personally am confident of a PO win. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a blow out.
I’m not calm either as many of the states seem to be showing Romney ahead in the count right now to me. I am praying, and deep breathing. I am here with you all.
Tell me about it. I have not eaten all day and am so wound up, sure can’t eat now!
So any big news ?
Just saw teann projecting joe manchin (D) a wnner in WV.
It’s not news per se, but the news media here sucks.
I’m so proud of my 13 yr old son right now… he’s been playing a game online w/ his online friends.. and he’s yelling out election results to me at the same time via his online friends- who by the way are all for President Obama too :)
This is fantastic!!
actually turns out its youtube results they’re following.. so proud of him though.

Fascinating to me that there was never more focus placed on the fact that willard is UTTERLY REJECTED in Massachusetts where HE WAS GOVERNOR. HE WAS THEIR GOVERNOR. HE WS THEIR GOVERNOR. The only signifcant, elected, government experience he has had and? The citizens of MASSACHUSETTS have NO USE FOR HIM.
I agree; why is nothing made of that? That is huge!! Just like Palin now .. AK has no use for her; those that know her best. Romney the same.
You know. To me that would be a major factor in my decision. What history does he bring? Nothing much by the looks of it. They called him feefee

PBO has an early lead in New Hampshire according to BBC (which seems to be a bit behind everyone else).
I’ll be very curious to see where the popular vote total comes in the next couple of days. I previously posted about not seeing much R/R excitement in my red TX city. Went to do errands a bit ago and drove by 5 polling places. Of the 5, only one looked at all busy. My city will stay red here for awhile but just not seeing the love here for R/R VERY different from 2004 and 2008.
I have not turned the tube on yet. Just cruising around the blogs. Decided that listening to the pundits will only increase my stress level so keep them away until later when I can watch them fall over when it is called for PBO. Just need to echo so many, Chips thanks for all of your work and providing this place for us. I do not go out on election night (at least since I went crazy about Obama) just don’t trust my emotions so it is better to be home. So I’ll be hanging around the night. I don’t think it will be as bad as last time but still nervous.
Me too, Foxfire!
Pls God, I have done ALL I could to get PBO over the top!!!
