On CNN live Bobby Rush and someone else is holding a news conference to discuss Rep Jesse Jackson Jr. resigning for Congress. I am so sorry to hear about him and his troubles. I was so hoping he would get the Senate seat Barack Obama gave up once he became President. Hopefully life has something better for him.

I think he did the right thing. He just needs to focus on getting better, and clearing his name (if possible) of all the allegations against him. There is an ongoing investigation about illegal use of funds to buy an expensive watch, decorate his office and home, and he is still under suspicion from the shenanigans around President Obama’s old Senate seat. Personally, I want that seat to go to someone worthy – given that the President used to hold the seat. I know you feel differently. I just think the congressman needs to figure out what’s going on with his life first.

I didn’t know all that was going on. I too hope Jesse Jackson Jr. can get his life together. My best to him and his family.

So Stephen Spielberg told Jim Messina to blow up the campaign compared the 08 run to the 1965 Rolling Stones!

Hi Pamela, are you still around, or did you give up? I keep dancing in and out, so I don’t always see messages right away. So how was Denea on this great Thanksgiving Day? Tell me she was home for this one, or was mommy on her own again?

Just saw this question, was over on FB, checking in. No, D hasn’t been home for Thanksgiving since she moved to Oz in Jan ’04. It’s pretty far and very expensive, one needs to have time to spend! I worked all day, then came home, read up on TOD, finished a wonderful turkey dinner, had a glass of wine, actually, which no doubt caused the crash! I don’t really like alcohol, it seems to take away part of me! Maybe that is why people use it?!

Hey my peeps is this where the party’s at? I had to load more posts to come here….maybe that’s why so few people have found us. I just finished cleaning dishes and my Mom is sound to sleep…that turkey got her good.

Oh, yes, we will! I did give up last night, I was just so worn out, then the head started rolling around on my shoulders, always a sign of impending danger! Good morning! VC, your artistic endeavor of Thanksgiving Day was very much on my mind when I woke up!
