Let us keep calling, emailing, writing, and tweeting the Senators on all of POB’s judicial nominees. We have some emergencies waiting in many states. Please write to Chairman Patrick Leahy who is very supportive of POTUS. Also call and write to Leader Reid to get the Senate to get off of their behinds and get these judicial nominees a vote through. We need this to happen.

This is another way we can help the President and citizens all over the nation who deserve to have their court benches filled. Please help me on this one. This is very special to my heart. Thank you all.HZ

Unfortunately, GQ had FLOTUS at #7. They had to make up somehow for having Romney on that list.

Thanks for the warning, there is nothing in GQ that I want to see. You don’t disrespect FLOTUS like that, ask the stupid GQ folks have they heard anything about Joining Forces. Mrs. Michelle Obama is one of the most influential person of the last four years.

Since we are still fa as a country and id not follow her advise on food and exercise, that makes her “the least influential people”. Can you believe that? Sometimes, I am simply amazed at the stupidity of this country. My gosh, are we the only adults in the country.

        November 27, 2012 at 11:11 pm

        That’s clearly dishonest of GQ…

Mrs Obama was really the driving force behind a lot of positive responses to the GOTV effort…

Several people I registered told me they were voting only because they’d heard Mrs Obama talk about how in 2008, a couple of votes by neighborhoods made all the difference for President Obama…

This is a woman who draws crowds and captivates in her own right…

I think Democrats will realize just how ‘uninfluential’ she is if anybody really buys into this crap from GQ…

The idea that this male oriented magazine would go out of it’s way to spin such dishonesty about a very influential First Lady who is pretty instrumental to her husbands political successes, is not only suspect, but disconcerting…

    • November 27, 2012 at 7:21 pm

Well, he is the head of the PRI. I don’t think the party has done any real reform since losing power for the first time a decade ago. If you ascend to heading the PRI, you pretty much have to be corrupt.

    • 61 dotster3
      November 27, 2012 at 7:58 pm

I also just read about him. Hopefully, he will rise above his critics. His party has a long history of corruption, making deals with the drug cartels for peace. Accusations of election fraud etc. First wife, with whom he has 3 children, died of a seizure. Current wife was a popular soap opera actress, compared in looks to Carla Bruni. She has 3 children from 1st marriage. He had 2 out of wedlock, one died as an infant. He comes from a big political family, has been interested in politics from a young age, always has received attention for his neat and handsome appearance. Unlike most past presidents, only attended U.S. school for 1 yr. in jr. high —in Maine—-to learn English. Has bachelors and masters degrees from Mexican universities, said to surround himself with Harvard and MIT grads—–because “he knows what he doesn’t know”.

LL, this might be one of John McCain’s unanswered questions that had him all “disturbed” today.

        • 68 HZ
          November 27, 2012 at 8:51 pm

Just remember, McCain has two mean-spirits going on here. Do you all recall John McCain being upset oveer a comment that Dr. Susan Rice alleged to have made during the 2008 campaign about McCain while he was on a trip in Iraq. McCain has been holding those remarks in his hateful heart for all of this time. Plus when POB chose Dr. Rice and won the election, McCain has not been a fan of Dr. Susan Ric or President Obama. This is personal for McCain about Dr. Rice and the President.

This old hateful man just can’t get over his dried up life. He could leave the stage with so much grace if only he would let his hate just leave his spirit. But he has to work on that before his old soul eat the crap out of him. Sad way to bring your career to closure, Sen. McCain.HZ

President Obama signaled on Tuesday that he would be pursuing an immigration bill in his second term, telling Enrique Peña Nieto, the president-elect of Mexico, that he welcomes his feedback on the proposal.

In his first meeting in the Oval Office with Peña Nieto, which comes on the heels of the election in Mexico, Obama said he would be “sharing” ideas with his Mexican counterpart. Peña Nieto signaled that he would be in support of such a plan.

“We fully support your proposal,” Peña Nieto said, speaking through a translator. “We want to contribute. We want to be part of this.”

Professional Left Sets Hair on Fire About Fictional Entitlement “Cuts”

…Again and again, it has been the ideologue Left that has abandoned the middle class and the poor when the president has fought for them. They abandoned – no, openly opposed – the fight to get health care reform done. They opposed Wall Street Reform, because it wasn’t “good enough.” At the end of 2010, when the president was busy crafting a deal to protect the middle class tax breaks, unemployment benefits and creating a new tax cut for the working poor (payroll tax cut), these same usual suspects insisted that the president abandon the middle class in order to prove some sort of a weird point.

There are a group of people who cannot be trusted to stick by the middle class, but they don’t work for the White House. They work for and permeate the spectrum of Left media, and they have shown an willingness – indeed, a demand – to abandon the interests of the middle class and the poor in order to prove ideological points…

Oil-and-gas lobby: Repeal of biofuel rule a top priority in next Congress

    By Zack Colman
A top oil-and-gas lobby is changing strategy and will press Congress to repeal a biofuel production mandate instead of pushing for piecemeal changes to the rule.

The American Petroleum Institute (API) said Tuesday it believes the Renewable Fuel Standard should not be preserved, saying it is too hobbled by nagging problems.

Bob Greco, API downstream group director, told The Hill that axing the rule “is going to be one of our top priorities next year, and we are going to be bringing our resources to bear.”

But API — which historically has donated to and received support from Republican lawmakers — might encounter some resistance in the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

The republicans will have all sorts of riders like this in the fiscal deal. Frankly, the API can piss off.

There was a lawyer and he was just waking up from anesthesia after surgery, and his wife was sitting by his side.

His eyes fluttered open and he said: “You’re beautiful!” and then he fell asleep again.

His wife had never heard him say that so she stayed by his side. A couple minutes later his eyes fluttered open and he said: “You’re cute!”
