The questions are the same from Cantor and boner. Don’t raise taxes please! Oh and please don’t hurt small businesses and get serious.
They are so rude!
Anyways…
Sigh. A hedge fund manager and a plastic surgeon are not my idea of ‘small business’ although these are the people that Republicans want to protect under the ‘small business’ banner.
Some yahoo called in to Stephanie Miller this morning, saying that you can have $250,000 ‘on paper’ and be socked with ‘high’ taxes. Then you have the worst accountant on the planet: if you’ve taken every deduction possible and you’re still clearing a quarter of a million dollars, then you’re doing just fine.
I understand that $250,000 doesn’t go as far in Manhattan than in Manhattan, Kansas. But still…….
What they always leave out of this argument is the fact that the tax cuts will still apply to the FIRST 250,000. So anyone making 250K is not going to have any tax increase. Only the amount ABOVE that will be taxed at the higher rate.

The DNC will meet [in Washington on Jan. 22], the day after President Obama is sworn in for a second term, with the primary item of business being electing party officers, including the DNC Chair.
Heard this earlier, and I’m so very happy for Debbie (and us!). She’s courageous, brave, creative, a fighter for all Americans, can take down R lies in a Debbie Minute, knows the senior culture in FL, and remains a huge O’supporter.

Rather than raising revenue? Huh? I bet this guy Osteen thinks gov’t should be run like a business. What business owner would say let’s just cut costs and forget about how to increase our profits?
It’s because they parrot without actually knowing what they’re talking about. When you get your intellectual fuel from the likes of Limbaugh or Glen Beck, then that quality will be reflected in your discourse… They are fools.
I’m going to have a piece up on TPV about an idea floating around that the GOP will bring the Senate tax cut bill to the floor, vote “present”, and take that off the table, supposedly leaving them in a stronger position for the fights of 2013. Here’s a taste:
The country remembers the last debt ceiling fight; the GOP did not come out of it with accolades. It was seen as being responsible for the country’s credit being downgraded. The dynamics haven’t changed. Another debt ceiling fight will inflict further damage to the GOP. It is, furthermore, a fight they cannot win. Again, Obama won the election running on a particular economic platform. The majority of the electorate wants to see this platform enacted. Part of that platform is taking the uncertainty away from the debt ceiling kabuki. That’s why dealing with the debt ceiling is part of the Democrats’ budget offer for the lame duck session. But even if the debt ceiling is still an issue in 2013, the GOP has no greater leverage. It will be blamed if it obstructs and the nation’s credit rating suffers another blow.

Of course my daughter was in band for about 8 years all told and we had to listen to things like “All right everybody, finger your parts.” My mind just goes right there.
Afghanistan Horror: A 14-Year-Old Girl Is Beheaded
[....] “She was very brutally beheaded just for refusing a marriage request,” says Nadiya Guyah, the Kunduz provincial women’s affairs director.
[....] Sadeq, Masood, and their family had been pestering—indeed, threatening—Gastina’s father, Noor Rahman, that they would not take no for an answer to Masood’s marriage proposal. Rahman stood his ground, insisting that his daughter was too young to be engaged. Sarwar, the police spokesman, says Rahman told him that the brothers had proposed repeatedly and seemed to become angrier after each rejection. Sarwar adds that immediately after killing Gastina, the two men rushed home, changed out of their bloodstained clothes, and tried to run. The police caught them and said they looked “frightened and nervous.” Sarwar says police found bloodstained clothes and the knife used in the murder in the brothers’ home. Both men are in custody, but the charges against them, if any, are unclear.
“Guyah, director of women’s affairs in the province, says Gastina’s brutal murder is only the latest outrage in a rising trend of violence against women in Kunduz. “We have registered 11 such cases against women in the past eight months as opposed to six last year.” She goes on to recite a long list of women who have been raped and killed. One woman was raped by four local policemen. In nearby Chardara district, a young girl’s body was found, and no one claimed it for more than one week. “We know the reason behind her death was a family problem,” Guyah says. She recalls another recent case in which a husband killed his wife for giving birth to a daughter. In yet another horrific incident, a woman and her three children were all killed by her late husband’s brother so that he could quickly get his hands on the children’s inheritance.”
Cluny posted this earlier this morning. It’s an interview in which Michael Lewis talks about the article he did on Pres. Obama when he got to shadow him for 8 months. It’s very fascinating because Michael talks about a lot of stuff he wasn’t able to put in the article due to page constraints.
Instead of sleeping I stayed up until 2pm last night watching UT – it is a wonderful interview – the descriptions of AF1 were amazing – loved the press at the back with the noise.
The GOP just released their insane fiscal cliff plan. No tax hike on the rich, $800B in revenue, cuts in healthcare, no addressing the sequester or the debt ceiling. In total it’s a $2.2T fiscal cliff plan. It’s nuts. You can read more here.
You know, that’s not a bad offer if you really look at it. Maybe President Obama will counter their counter-offer and bring in Mitt Romney as his Vice President and make V.P. Biden a special assistant to the President and both Obama and Romney can take turns being President one month at a time.
No surprise here. Same old GOP: We (GOP) decimated the budget, but the middle/working class, and the poor must tighten their belts, because the rich must be protected at all costs.
all the rethugs should abstain from eating, drinking, listening to any music or entertainment provided, and they should busily clean up the place after the party, too. that way, a minimum of tax dollars will be spent. and boeher should volunteer to do the valet parking, since he won’t be tempted to drink if he’s outside working.

Hey Dudette, I see you’re sending my little tweet from the other night to a few folks. LOL. My favorite part was arguing with a supposed “liberal”, him saying that darn it, House members work damned hard, I just didn’t understand.
One of them tried that crap with me too, but she didn’t come back after my response:
@CELeighton Oh BS.Staff does the work. Even w/ fundraising & pretending to listen, they have it made. It's why they fight so hard 2 stay.— Dudette (@Dudette9t9) December 03, 2012
really, the idea that politicians are lonely, put upon servants who do all the work themselves is laughable. They have huge staffs which do most of the work. Now, if that work benefits the majority, then fine. But it doesn’t even do that.
I've asked Debbie Wasserman Schultz to continue her excellent work as chair of the DNC. Thanks for all you do, Debbie. -bo— Barack Obama (@BarackObama) December 03, 2012
Now, perhaps. He still voted in lockstep with the Turtle. If he had come out as a sane Republican, he could have done a lot of good. As it is, he still got primaried by a Teabagger and lost.
This is so cool. Pres. Obama answered her #My2K question and told her he likes her purple hair.
@mstevesmithjr OH MY GOD THE PRESIDENT ANSWERED ME! And he likes the purple hair I had a few years ago. I AM SHAKING.— Mandi (@dontbeaprat) December 03, 2012
So who is that girl with the purple hair that the president likes?
Turn’s out, it’s Mandi Roberts, an unemployed 24-year-old from Morgantown, W.V., who asked President Obama on Twitter how an extension of middle-class tax cuts would help someone in her position. The president replied that GOP plans to cut spending without raising revenue would threaten student loans, work, study and college tax credits. “Bad for growth. like your hair! –bo,” he Tweeted.
When POLITICO reached her a short time later, she said she was still shaking from the shock of it all. Roberts is a fan of British TV and film who describes herself as a liberal atheist humanist who has “permament gay-goggles on.” She told POLITICO that she voted for Obama this year and in 2008.
“I support him because I agree with the majority of his policies,” she said. “He supports equal marriage rights and is such a good diplomat. He understands and vocally supports women’s rights to equal pay and that we should be the only ones making decisions about our bodies and health care.”

And won’t compare to Joe B. who was on a couple of weeks ago, so haha. http://www.indystar.com/article/20121203/THINGSTODO/121203017/-Parks-Recreation-Men-Pawnee-chow-down-St-Elmo-Steak-House?odyssey=tab|topnews|text|IndyStar.com
Whenever they talk of removing the “home loan” deduction I wonder how many of the top income folks have a home loan – Can’t think of any reason why they would – the GOP just make stuff up. They want the poor to go away and die while they turn the middle class into the working poor.
Btw, I truly appreciate General Powell’s comments about this nation’s greatest asset being our diversity and the two short anecdotes he made at the end to make that point.
I have to honestly say that this video represents the first time I have actually listened, REALLY listened, to Gen. Powell speak. He is an excellent speaker. He’s warm, he’s funny and very engaging. I can see why there was talk of him running for President. I just wonder why he is still a Re-thug….
You are right Chips. With Gallup it is a lot higher. BTW, I really enjoyed his speech today and his memories of times spent with Lugar. We can be grateful that Lugar and Nunn gave him a meaningful seat at the table to get his foot in the door on foreign policy.
I honestly just laugh at them now pkayden, they’re a joke, and they deserve ridicule for these good polls they’re suddenly producing for PBO – after the election, of course.
UPDATE: Pelosi announces that Dems will file discharge petition to force vote on extending the middle income tax cut thkpr.gs/Rxdlyy— ThinkProgress (@thinkprogress) December 03, 2012
It’s definitely on. Nancy typically wouldn’t bring something to the floor if she didn’t have the votes. This could leave Boehner, Cantor and the Tea Party at a real cross-roads, with their trousers around their ankles. As Bob has been saying/tweeting “meep, meep”.
PBO releases campaign style video on the tax increase issue using footage from the campaign. Thrilled that they are using all these tools and not letting up on this.
I can’t think of a worse set of endorsements for Hillary’s future political plans—–which I question, by the way——-than Bibi and Tony Blair——in that Hillary promotional film. What in the world? Who thought that was convincing??? Or a good idea???
I saw Hardball and they were talking about Hillary running for President 2016, they had Joan Walsh and Ed Rendell beaming from ear to ear about the thought of Hillary running. Right now I’m not thinking of anyone else running. I am fed up to here with the thought of another election. But these pundits better realize Hillary is not a lock if she decides to run. She could lose just like she did in 08.
Me too ab. Why don’t they just fucking wait until the woman says what she wants to do? Sheesh!
Meanwhile there’s lot to do BEFORE the next election gets going.
And it would blur her legacy as Sec of State. To lose twice? Not good. She needs better advisors, or to stop her husband and his cronies from meddling.
Joan Walsh pointed out many thought Hillary had the nomination locked up in 2008. The nomination will not be given to anyone, including Hillary in 2016.
The MSM is pushing Hillary in an effort to divide Dems permanently and help the GOP obtain and retain the Presidency after 2016. Hillary is not running, and this pro-Hillary MSM speculation is purely agenda-driven.
The media wants to get Democrats emotionally invested one way or the other, and get the pro and against Hillary camps fighting with each other. When Hillary announces that she is not running the MSM will then blame “Obama supporters” and depress enthusiasm for the whoever the DEM candidate is.
I think Hillary is going to run in 2016, and will unfortunately have the support of the old guards in the democratic party. She and her husband probably feel entitled just like Romney felt entitled, I really hope Americans move away from electing another political dynasty. I am sick of the Bushes and the Clintons. I want someone new, and not one so entrenched in the gamesmanship that goes on in Washington, D.C. I don’t know if I will ever support a Hillary presidential campaign. I hope Joe Biden or Elizabeth Warren decides to run.
Whoever the democrat is we all should vote for them.
For this presidents sake, because a republican WH would repeal everything that this president accomplished out of spite.

This is the worthless corporate media for you. It wasn’t lost on me this morning when Good Morning America (ABC) had a segment on the Kennedy honors event last night, and showed and discussed pics of Bill and Hillary with some of the Hollywood stars, yet absolutely nothing of the President and First lady during the entire 2-minute segment.
Dudette … thank you, thank you. I so agree with you. I am so tired of campaigns (and especially because our campaigns in this country have turned uglier and uglier) and we have so much work to do to take this country FORWARD! Why can’t we work together to do this for the next 3 years (before anyone declares) at least??!!!???
I was tweeting the exact same sentiment a couple of weeks ago. The MSM is completely addicted to this non-stop election horserace nonsense. Give me a break.
Indeed – especially considering that the last word from Hillary on this topic was that she was done with her political career and had no intention of running. What a way for the media to muddy up the waters! The Democratic bench is quite strong, and we still have four more glorious years under President Obama!

Senate Democrats on Monday launched a last-minute effort to salvage a United Nations treaty on the rights of people with disabilities ahead of Tuesday’s vote.
Flanked by military veterans as well as blind and wheelchair-bound advocates, several Democratic leaders and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) called Tea Party-fueled objections to the treaty “mythologies.”
Supporters of the treaty might be a few votes short of winning the 67 votes needed for passage.
How ironic that McCain would be calling someone else’s unfounded objections “mythologies”, when he’s been working to destroy a worthy woman’s legacy based on his own “mythologies”. He’s such a hypocrite.

I am always astounded at how many business people do NOT know this.
First Question and answer.
Great comments on that page – thanks for bringing that here!
A senior Democratic official: “Because of the outstanding job she has done, the President will ask the members of the Democratic National Committee to ratify his choice of [Rep.] Debbie Wasserman Schultz to continue leading the Party as Chair when they meet in January.

PBO likes her hair.
She also freaked out when the President responded to her and commented on her hair. Apparently, she’s been inundated with calls and tweets since then…

“Michelle is Superwoman. What can’t she do?” Samuel L. Jackson recently told Newsweek. “That’s why people love her. She can be on the Supreme Court and anywhere else she wants. She can be the president. She’s history and she’ll stay history because she is so amazingly smart and together.”
I agree with you 1000% Samuel L. Jackson.
Another photo of POTUS tweeting…
Rather than raising revenue? Huh? I bet this guy Osteen thinks gov’t should be run like a business. What business owner would say let’s just cut costs and forget about how to increase our profits?
It’s because they parrot without actually knowing what they’re talking about. When you get your intellectual fuel from the likes of Limbaugh or Glen Beck, then that quality will be reflected in your discourse… They are fools.
Good west coast morning, all!
I’m going to have a piece up on TPV about an idea floating around that the GOP will bring the Senate tax cut bill to the floor, vote “present”, and take that off the table, supposedly leaving them in a stronger position for the fights of 2013. Here’s a taste:
Romney goes back to the private sector to keep on screwing the 99%.
And I’m sure he’s amending his tax returns for the few years we saw.
Romney never left the private sector.
Yes he did. He was Governor of MA for 4 years and when he left MA, actually in the last year of his Governorship he began his 5-6 year run for the white house. He hasn’t been fully in the private sector, that’s how he was able to say he was “unemployed” while receiving profits from his time at Bain.
I was being sarcastic ut.
Thanks for the reminder why I stopped being a Marriott guest LONG ago.
The sad part is that millionairs and billionairs aren’t asking President Obama these silly questions, it is the people who lest can afford to pay higher taxes. You know who I’m talking about, the people that work next to you that live paycheck to paycheck that vote against thier own best interest.
Those people think and hope they will be rich one day.
Pres. Obama took a question on his Bears.
The end.
Thanks, UT!
Thanks for the retweets, UT!
“tweet your member”…just sounds wrong. Off to naughty mat, now.
I had the same reaction, but just couldn’t write it for fear I’d write it in a work email rather than posting it here.
Join me on the naughty mat. The weather’s fine!
Of course my daughter was in band for about 8 years all told and we had to listen to things like “All right everybody, finger your parts.” My mind just goes right there.
LOL!
[This really pisses me off!]:
Both men are in custody, but the charges against them, if any, are unclear.
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/12/02/in-afghanistan-a-14-year-old-girl-is-beheaded.html
Dear God!
Love the Presidential seal on his laptop, lol.
Cluny posted this earlier this morning. It’s an interview in which Michael Lewis talks about the article he did on Pres. Obama when he got to shadow him for 8 months. It’s very fascinating because Michael talks about a lot of stuff he wasn’t able to put in the article due to page constraints.
http://youtu.be/Xd7JoI-qd14
Here’s Part One.
Instead of sleeping I stayed up until 2pm last night watching UT – it is a wonderful interview – the descriptions of AF1 were amazing – loved the press at the back with the noise.
I agree 100% 99ts. I had read the VF story. These two interviews are great. I tweeted and posted both to FB
The GOP just released their insane fiscal cliff plan. No tax hike on the rich, $800B in revenue, cuts in healthcare, no addressing the sequester or the debt ceiling. In total it’s a $2.2T fiscal cliff plan. It’s nuts. You can read more here.
http://www.politico.com/story/2012/12/fiscal-cliff-house-gop-sends-obama-counteroffer-84522.html
Here’s more on the GOP’s insane counter offer to Pres. Obama.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2012/12/03/boehner-offers-4-6-trillion-counter-proposal/?wprss=rss_election-2012
You know, that’s not a bad offer if you really look at it. Maybe President Obama will counter their counter-offer and bring in Mitt Romney as his Vice President and make V.P. Biden a special assistant to the President and both Obama and Romney can take turns being President one month at a time.
Tweet that idea to Boehner. He’ll LOVE it! Then send him audio of laff tracks from every 70′s sitcom.
No tax increases ever is a good counter offer? Could have fooled me!
he was being facetious. Check out the rest of what he said about demoting Biden and making Willard VP.
No surprise here. Same old GOP: We (GOP) decimated the budget, but the middle/working class, and the poor must tighten their belts, because the rich must be protected at all costs.
Boner is proposing no tax increases ever and instead of 400 billion in medicate savings they want 600 billion in Medicare savings.
No specifics!
Just what did Boner have to drink last night? He must be still feeling the effect from it.That man is the WORSE Speaker of the House ever.
He’ll be drinking more this evening. White House Christmas party with Congress is this evening!
all the rethugs should abstain from eating, drinking, listening to any music or entertainment provided, and they should busily clean up the place after the party, too. that way, a minimum of tax dollars will be spent. and boeher should volunteer to do the valet parking, since he won’t be tempted to drink if he’s outside working.
Haha! Sounds like you almost think they’re really fiscal conservatives! Psych!
My tweeting has major suckage today.
Above item deleted. Fixed below.
Hey Dudette, I see you’re sending my little tweet from the other night to a few folks. LOL. My favorite part was arguing with a supposed “liberal”, him saying that darn it, House members work damned hard, I just didn’t understand.
Oh I missed that argument, LL. That must’ve been fun!
He stopped responding to me. LOL
One of them tried that crap with me too, but she didn’t come back after my response:
really, the idea that politicians are lonely, put upon servants who do all the work themselves is laughable. They have huge staffs which do most of the work. Now, if that work benefits the majority, then fine. But it doesn’t even do that.
And the tea party is upset because PBO has a vacation! Stupid seems to be unfixable with that lot
Heads up:
4:00 ET: President Obama Speaks to the Nunn-Lugar Cooperative Threat Reduction symposium
http://www.whitehouse.gov/live
So this is focused on how to deal with Republicans?
amen! thank you debbie and thank you mr. president!
Dick Lugar is looking up at the President with genuine love and affection.
Now, perhaps. He still voted in lockstep with the Turtle. If he had come out as a sane Republican, he could have done a lot of good. As it is, he still got primaried by a Teabagger and lost.
Amen!
I noticed that too. Shame his votes in the Senate lately haven’t shown much love for other citizens of this country.
Chips this is my LOL for today. Love Steve’s sense of humor.
Cracked up at that line COS, I love the fella!
This is so cool. Pres. Obama answered her #My2K question and told her he likes her purple hair.
He understands and vocally supports women’s rights to equal pay and that we should be the only ones making decisions about our bodies and health care.”
http://www.politico.com/politico44/2012/12/that-girl-with-the-purple-hair-150942.html
Great! Thanks for the backstory. I saw the tweet exchange. The President’s response made me LOL! Very cute!

Hilarious, what a great conversation they had!!
LOL!!! Why does the dog sound like Miss Piggy?!
Tee-hee-hee! Now that you mention it — she does sound like Miss Piggy!
This is a please proceed moment.
Thanks, just added this tweet to my piece for TPV.
Anyone watch Parks & Rec? The cast from “Pawnee, In.” were in Indy dining at St. Elmo’s Steak House—-great restaurant, been there a few times—–to shoot a bachelor party scene for the show. And yuck, who should walk in but Mankini Man—–was in town to talk to Gov. Daniels—-about what? —-a teaching job at Purdue?——and they quickly wrote him into the script. Just couldn’t pass up that opportunity, they said. I could have. And won’t compare to Joe B. who was on a couple of weeks ago, so haha.
http://www.indystar.com/article/20121203/THINGSTODO/121203017/-Parks-Recreation-Men-Pawnee-chow-down-St-Elmo-Steak-House?odyssey=tab|topnews|text|IndyStar.com
Bleh.
I love that PBO took to twitter. Hope he does it more often this term. While he makes me smile, I guess the Repubs make me laugh out loud. Boehner’s “counter offer” calls for LOWERING the top tax rate with a revision of the tax code next year. “The proposal calls for $800 billion in higher tax collections through an overhaul of the tax code next year that would push the top rate below the current level of 35 percent and raise cash by wiping out loopholes and deductions.” http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/boehner-house-gop-leaders-offer-fiscal-cliff-counter-proposal/2012/12/03/694dbc1e-3d84-11e2-a2d9-822f58ac9fd5_story.html
And he had the nerve to call PBO’s offer “not serious”???? Apparently he forgot there was an election. What a dickhead.
Whenever they talk of removing the “home loan” deduction I wonder how many of the top income folks have a home loan – Can’t think of any reason why they would – the GOP just make stuff up. They want the poor to go away and die while they turn the middle class into the working poor.
Ok all, my new piece is up on TPV: http://www.thepeoplesview.net/2012/12/the-illusion-of-gop-leverage.html
Take a gander if you can.
Secretary Clinton unveils portrait of former SOS Colin Powell at the State Dept
Love Hillary’s humor when Gen Powell reveals he’s not yet seen the portrait (5:06-5:34)
“I just wonder why he is still a Re-thug…” Me too.
You are right Chips. With Gallup it is a lot higher. BTW, I really enjoyed his speech today and his memories of times spent with Lugar. We can be grateful that Lugar and Nunn gave him a meaningful seat at the table to get his foot in the door on foreign policy.
Yeah, I cannot trust Gallup ever again after they showed Romney winning the election. LOL. But this is good news just the same.
I honestly just laugh at them now pkayden, they’re a joke, and they deserve ridicule for these good polls they’re suddenly producing for PBO – after the election, of course.
It’s on … Noon EST tomorrow …
#FlipThe113th
BAM! Go Nancy Smash Go!!!!!!!
Good analysis. I think you’re right. The media should keep themselves occupied with the serious state of disarray of the Republican Party.
I am not a Hillary Clinton for POTUS fan. I’d rather see our VP become POTUS #45. He’s a lock to get my vote.
Bibi and Blair? Are you serious Dotster? Oh dear………..
Guess Ted Nugent & Lindsay Lohan weren’t available so they went to the bench …
Mr Press Sec gets in a dig on Boehner
Go Jay!!!! Thanks Bob!
Oh, that’s cruel… and so deliciously wicked!
Delicious is the only word Theo!!
Vote count update:
Senate Democrats on Monday launched a last-minute effort to salvage a United Nations treaty on the rights of people with disabilities ahead of Tuesday’s vote.
Flanked by military veterans as well as blind and wheelchair-bound advocates, several Democratic leaders and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) called Tea Party-fueled objections to the treaty “mythologies.”
Supporters of the treaty might be a few votes short of winning the 67 votes needed for passage.
http://thehill.com/blogs/global-affairs/un-treaties/270615-dems-raise-pressure-on-gop-to-vote-for-disabilities-treaty
Because the tea baggers hate the UN!
How ironic that McCain would be calling someone else’s unfounded objections “mythologies”, when he’s been working to destroy a worthy woman’s legacy based on his own “mythologies”. He’s such a hypocrite.
Brilliant!
perfect!
LOL!!!!
Utal & Cluny, just want to let you both know that I’m mad …..with you! I just spent over an HOUR watching that Michael Lewis interview you posted! Sure I didn’t have to watch it all, but it was SOOO good I went waayyyy over the 15mins (about the length of my attention span) I intended to spend scanning it! THANKS!
FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yawn… BOOORING! Sorry, but if I’m supposed to pay attention to this new scandal, I’m gonna at least need some salacious emails or video involving a politician, super spy, or reality show personality and even that better be really kinky. I’ve just got too many sex scandals to keep up with, okay? Some of them will just have to be weeded out. My time is precious!
Yep…the “Immoral” majority that prays to “corporate” Jesus and wants to protect the fetus (if it’s male) but hates the child and disrespects women.
Sigh! I’m all for personal & artistic freedom, but I just find it really sad that our culture has devolved to the point where people find watching another person (albeit willingly) get shocked is good TV entertainment.
You know if there was a show “torturing” animals it would probably NEVER see the light of day……yet torturing human beings is entertaining? I can not bear to watch anything like this. It’s hard for me to watch movies where animals, kids, or people get hurt. It physically makes me sick to my stomach eventhough I know it is not real.
Voting numbers don’t lie—-voter suppression efforts in Fl. resulted in voting numbers down in 2012 from 2008 numbers—-limiting early voting, unbelievably long lines and waits—–hours long—–many gave up——and still determined voters gave the state to Obama

White House rejects GOP offer as ‘nothing new,’ unbalanced

The White House blasted a counteroffer from House Republicans on debt talks as failing to “meet the test of balance.” …
Ya think?
So, now the fucking Tea bagging senators are saying they will not support the Disabilities treaty over abortion issues!
Abortion issues???
Yep – once you are born the GOP is no longer concerned about your welfare

Our President really doesn’t miss much!
I think this was mentioned earlier today, but I can’t believe Ben Smith has a story on Buzzfeed, “How America Learned to Love Mitt Romney”. What??????????? No, America never learned to love Mitt Romney. What a piece of dishonest putrid trash. Smith should be embarrassed trying to make that hilarious case.
as i recall, the article is a list of all that’s despicable about myth, but then says, since he’s now also a total loser, appearing defeated and disheveld in public, folks start to think, aw, maybe he’s a human after all. that was my read of it anyway–a joke.
We can’t wait …
