Me too Maryl1. I live in the Los Angeles basin and I have the pleasure of looking up at the mountains and seeing the snow, but I’m so far away that I don’t have to deal with it except when the wind blows off the mountains – then it’s very cold (45 degrees)

I really DO like the TOD snowy effect though I am cognizant of the fact that it can play havoc with some people’s tech toys. In fact, last year, I remember being able to make the flakes dance from side to side and that was such fun! I wasn’t able to make them dance in a circle so I plan to try that this year.
Chips, not to be a nag or anything, but is there a thing about how many beautiful PBO pictures one may earn by being first – like no consecutive pictures? Because that would make me really sad what with all the training, diet regimen, exercise, mental stamina, computer loafing, etc….. but if there’s no law, I’d really appreciate another awesome pic. Having been mostly out of snow, I did live in New England for five minutes (Bahstin, Hahtfahd, and Terrytown), and snow is nice from Thanksgiving to Boxing Day. Then it needs to disappear, and no ice storms EVER.
It’s why I’m so thankful to be home in SoCali with my tumbleweeds, and my glorious Pacific.

The President declared it first snow day for me when we opened our mail and got a Holiday card signed by all Obama’s including Bo’s cute paw print. He was on the front playing in the snow in front of The White House. Have been smiling all day.

The President declared it first snow day for me when we opened our mail and got a Holiday card signed by all Obama’s including Bo’s cute paw print.
He was on the front playing in the snow in front of The White House. Have been smiling all day.
I suppose I’ve posted this enough for one day! First post was about 2 something in afternoon.
This is the funniest thread I’ve been on anywhere. I just started posting yesterday, so most don’t know me. Like the idea of sporadic snow. I don’t think iPad users can see the flurries, that would be me and a few others that posted earlier. So in the spirit of my first card Happy Holidays to all, starting now!
I like the festive snow—–but it makes the bottom of my screen have lightning strikes——-jumping and flashing——so—–the violent weather takes the edge off the enjoyment a tad.
Snow is beautiful on the computer screen. In real life I could do without it. But I vote yes to keep it falling in TODville through Christmas.
