Didn’t the Republicans say they’d rather have Donald Trump or Rush Limbaugh (can’t remember which reprehensible blowhard it was) over Colin Powell last time Colin Powell made his feelings known?

I feel the same way. Like you, I will be watching the Inauguration on C-SPAN. I just can’t stand listening to all those media pundits who are so full of themselves and seem to be focused on commenting on the most trivial events/issues. Now and then the media may have respectable historians offering valuable commentaries with insights. For the most part, however, the media relies on pundits who know very little history and are much more interested in spreading mythology and sensationalism. Obviously, since I’ve been boycotting electronic media, beginning in 2009, I wouldn’t know how to help Luna. The fact that you are a TODer, I respect your suggestion that “ABC or CBS” may be the most tolerable. I hope Luna watches them with a critical eye.

The fact of the matter is the Cabinet is still diverse. Yes the Sec. of State position went to a white male. But guess what most of the people whining trashed the distinguished AA woman who was being considered for the position. May be it’s because they wanted a white woman in that position. As for Defense and Treasury, two white men are being replaced by two other white men. The Pres. has not named a replacement for Sec. of Labor so it’s idiotic to try to second guess the person he is likely to appoint. The Cabinet Secretaries of HHS and Dept. of Homeland Security, are still going to be women. The UN ambassador who is a member of the cabinet is still going to be a woman.

I am sick and tired of the hypocrites in the Media like David Gregory pretending to be concerned with diversity. Question for the media: Exactly how many women and people of Color are principal hosts of the so called prestigious Sunday Talk shows?

UT, these so called pretend liberals are absolutely out of the f**kn minds! I think they are so angry because they wanted Mitt Romney to win. Then they would be all over the media gloating about the President loosing because he was, as they so often claim, a carbon copy Republican. I am sorry, but I thoroughly dislike the PL, their emprog followers, and their MSM media enablers. They can whine all they want, but President Obama will still be the President for the next four years. They might as well get used to that reality! Their cowardly plots to undermine and defeat him failed miserably. Their current plans to undermine him and diminish his legacy will also fail because many of us who support him are not going to taken in by their evil games. The Truth is on the side of the President. All these hypocrites attacking everything President Obama does will eventually pay for their dishonesty.
