The majority of us in the United States should be forever proud of what we did, not just for the United States, but for the future of the entire world. The “mis-measure” of humans on the basis of color and the totally false concept of race, was dealt a major blow in both 2008 and 2012. Children of color will from now on grow up knowing that it’s possible for them to aspire to the highest office in the land. And, even more significant, today’s children of all races (except those who may be currently poisoned by racist haters), who will be tomorrow’s adults, will have no problem respecting a President of any color. Thankfully, other countries already set examples of electing women leaders. By the way, that includes muslim countries like Pakistan.
